Last time I tried to take this trope to the TRS
(along with the now defunct Blinding Bangs), we weren't able to disambiguate it because PAB has several meanings attached to the trope that were deemed tropeworthy. I don't disagree with this but the trope is still suffering from ZCE issues and the description and the title still focuses more on the hairstyle itself.
My original proposal for the trope before the old thread was made was to suggest splitting the meanings into their own tropes but I wasn't confident about it as I wasn't sure if it was worth having multiple bang specific tropes and I don't think I found enough meaningful examples on the wick check (although there's more on the on-page examples)
I decide to reuse my wick check from last year because I don't think things changed that much from then.

I suppose Hiding Behind Ones Bangs or Hiding Behind Their Bangs would be alternative options if we want to avoid second-person language, but I don't have a strong opinion regarding whether we use "your" or a third-person word.

I don't think it's inherently stock phrase-y (and honestly that rule is way too strict but that's for another time). The stock phrase rule is about titles that sound like spoken dialogue.

Is the name Hiding Behind Your Bangs gonna help with/fix the high zce count? The examples written by non-dedicated (no offense) editors would then just be "his face is hidden behind his bangs" / "she hides her face with her long bangs". Are all examples of characters absolutely hiding behind their bangs? What about confident sexy characters who were designed like this to look sultry?
It doesn't always necessarily represent a veil/barrier if that's what the name is going for.

It's not so much about literal hiding. It's about how the bangs conceal a hidden character trait. I suppose someone would think that going by the name.
I don't think it's going to be easy to find a different name that encompasses all types. If I found more examples/wicks with context I would have advocated for splitting the sex appeal part of the trope off and keeping the shyness + antisocial + hidden personality types on the same page.

Maybe the sexy aspect isn't common and can be removed (too drastic I know), or we can go example hunting for sexy eye-obscuring bangs.

Hiding Behind Your Bangs seems like a good name to cover the shy / mysterious aspect.
But I agree that 'Sultry / Sexy look' doesn't entirely fit, so I suppose if one of the meanings gets split it would be that one. Maybe Sultry Peek A Bangs or Sultry Peek A Boo.
I like the idea of a separate page for sultry version. I feel like if we use 'sexy' it'll end up attracting one-handed troping for any character with bangs hiding one eye.

From a quick google, Emo Bangs is a common colloquial term for several types of bang styles that aren't limited to the swept over one eye look although that one is of the most popular. I kinda feel it's too loaded to be a main trope title and I think people are going to get to caught up with the "emo" part or just the look itself.

I still prefer the suggestions that refer to characters hiding behind their bangs. Those still get the point across, and I feel that Emo Bangs is less clear, and I agree that the use of "emo" sounds loaded.
