I'm for renaming and cleaning the misuse, but I'd wait for more name ideas. Don't see a meaningful difference between Devilish Hairdo and the current. Evil Horned Hairdo gets the vote for now, but it doesn't sound great.
Throwing in Dark Heart Horned Hair (couldn't get 4 H combo) and Demonic Hair And Mind for now.
Also, any Pointy-Haired Boss overlap?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI don't think there's any overlap. Pointy-Haired Boss is just about idiot bosses and the only reason there's a reference to spiked hair is because of the trope namer.
Those names aren't bad but I wonder if a snappier name suggestion exists.

Macron's notesIf you want four H's, you could throw in "heinous".
Or maybe horrid
Macron's notesDark Heart Horned Hair sounds forced enough as it is.
Devilish Hair is good enough, I think - it's an improvement on the current by suggesting "evil" as well as "horned" - unless there's some other hairstyle or trope it could be mistaken for that I'm not thinking of.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableMaybe something like Devil Hair Devil Heart?
back lolOr Devil Horn Hair?
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness^ Not strong enough on the character alignment, same as Devilish Hair.
I'm pretty sure devils still retain the implication of being generally up to no good, and "devilish" in particular has "malicious" or "evil" as a secondary definition. (And "mischievous" or "tricky" as a tertiary.)
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI suggest renaming it to Heinous Horned Hairdo. It's a name that fits with the definition of the trope being "Horned hairstyle alludes to Satan or symbolizes that a character isn't someone to be messed with or is evil".
I like that.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Gets the message and keeps the Added Alliterative Appeal.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI like Heinous Horned Hairdo.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I don't really like it but Heinous Horned Hairdo describes the trope describes the trope decently I guess.

Macron's notesEvil Hair Horns and Heinous Hair Horns, for some more suggestions.
Nice. I prefer Hair Horns than Horned Hairdo.
Evil Hair Horns or Heinous Hair Horns would be better than just Hair Horns. Hair Horns has the same problem as the current name.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I do think we need an adjective that means "evil" or "devilish" or something similar, instead of just stating that the hair is horn-shaped.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Yeah, that's what the the current does already so doing that changes nothing so we can't go with Hair Horns.
EDIT: Wait, I think Adept was actually saying that they prefer having Hair Horns as the second half of the title instead of Horned Hairdo. If that's the case, I agree

Macron's notes
Crown Description:
Horned Hairdo has an unclear name, leading to misuse. Consensus is in favor of renaming, so what should the trope's new name be?
So, me and others have conducted a wick check on Horned Hairdo last year and found that 62% of the examples on the check were ZCEs or just characters with horned hairstyles. While the examples with context were correct for the most part, I think people just assume that the trope is "character has a horned hair style" instead of "A character's horned hair style signifies them as evil or an allusion to Satan" because of the name.
Crossover-Enthusiast suggested the name Evil Horned Hairdo as a rename suggestion, which works ok. I want to suggest Devilish Hairdo but I dunno if it's clear enough.
