Reload English cast predictions

Since SEES is getting a whole new voice cast, it would be reasonable to expect the same for the supporting cast. Feel free to add your own suggestions.

Related to the above, there could be some instances where some characters either keep their old actors or play a different character. (ie. Yuri Lowenthal as Yukari's father, as heard in the special trailer, or Tara Platt still playing Elizabeth).

The true reason for not including the Female Protagonist and The Answer.

The actual reason could that those things will be included as DLC or it's actually to hide that Persona 3 Reload is actually a Stealth Sequel that takes place after the original game, akin to Rebuild of Evangelion or Adolescence of Utena. In this hypothetical scenario, instead of The Answer which is implied to have happened off screen, Reload's epilogue will take place several years after the original game and have S.E.E.S try to free Makoto from his fate as the Great Seal. In a twist of fate, Makoto ends up as a Main Character Final Boss who feels that defending the world from its destruction is his duty and S.E.E.S have no right to render his sacrifice worthless just because they want him back.

• The Answer is confirmed to be DLC, so the main bulk of this WMG is most likely Jossed.

Your choice in extracurricular activities will actually matter in Reload

Instead of getting the same Social Link with a different activity, Rio and Saori from the Female Protagonist route will be alternatives to Kazushi and Keisuke.

• Jossed. In fact, there is no choice anymore, you can only do track and art.

Shinjiro will be saved if his Linked Episode is completed before October 4th

In the absence of the Female Protagonist in Reload, there is a chance the player will have the option to save Shinjiro’s life by completing his Linked Episode before October 4th.

• Jossed.

Reload will have a new epilogue similar to Persona 4 Golden

The new epilogue will have a time-skip after a few years since Makoto’s death. It will show how the former members of SEES live their lives.

• Jossed, at least in the base game. We shall see if Episode: Aegis ends with a new epilogue.

Reload will include the third semester, a new arc before March

• Like Golden and Royal, the game will introduce a new arc in the third semester after the final battle against Nyx.
  • It will involve SEES once more to save the people’s souls who were killed in the Dark Hour and are still trapped and unable to move on in the afterlife. Either Elizabeth or a new exclusive character will temporarily return SEES’ memories of the Dark Hour to save them.
  • It will involve a dream-like arc where SEES are trapped inside their dreams, and the people they love suddenly return from the dead.
  • Makoto’s consciousness transports into a multiverse of how many versions of himself died sacrificing themselves to protect their friends, where he teams up with the original P3 protagonist’s soul to find a way to live longer with his friends.
  • Similar to above, instead of dreams, it's time itself being messed with. Perhaps the day after the battle with Nyx, Makoto notices something is very wrong when SEES still seems to remember when they shouldn't, then there's reports of people who should be dead randomly appearing, including a past version of Shinjiro and possibly other dead characters showing up too. Time would need to be fixed, and perhaps even add some characters to get involved and be party guest members. Yu Narukami, Joker, Kotone...Maybe even Metis? That last part might just be wishful thinking though.
    • All Jossed for now. We'll have to wait and see if any future DLC would add anything post-Nyx.

Reload will have new multiple endings

• There will be requirements to unlock on certain endings.
  • New Bad Ending: If the player sides with Strega, he will fight against his friends on Jan. 31st.
  • New True Ending: If the player has completed every Link Scenario from SEES and Strega, including Ryoji, the protagonist will live on March 5th.
  • Normal Ending: If the player misses or cannot complete most of the Link Scenario before Jan 31st, it will result in an original ending where the protagonist dies in his sleep.
    • Jossed.

Possible Persona 3 Portable or Persona 5 Royal Cameos

• Besides Kashiwagi, there’s a chance there will be new cameo characters from Persona 3 Portable or Persona 5 Royal to appear.
  • Persona 3 Portable: Rio Iwasaki, Saori Hasegawa, or Theodore.
  • Persona 5 Royal: Ryuji Sakamoto (If his name is revealed in Yuko’s Social Link), Goro Akechi, Sadayo Kawakami, Takuto Maruki, or Jose.
    • Madarame could get a passing mention in Keisuke's Social Link.
• Jossed.

The Stinger for the Golden Ending will be a Sequel Hook for Persona 6

The game will fast forward to 20 years later (or whatever year ATLUS intends to release it). Mitsuru will get a call from Akihiko about him experiencing another phenomenon that allows him to use his Persona again, which will be P6's Shadow World. We then cut to a student on their way to their first day of school before experiencing said phenomenon, who will be P6's protagonist. We then cut to a black screen with text that reads To be continued, in Persona 6.

• Jossed - the true ending doesn't have such a stinger.

Post-Release Predictions

In two or three years there will be an Updated Re-release.

Since Reload is a full remake, rather than being a re-release it will have one, incorporating The Answer and the Female Protagonist.

• Seemingly jossed for now, according to director Kazuhisa Wada. Doesn't rule it out in a few years from now but at the moment, seems like it won't happen.
  Wada: Currently, we are not considering a revision like with Persona 5 to Persona 5 Royal, which involved significant changes and additions to the original title. So, fans can rest assured knowing that Persona 3 Reload offers a complete experience.

The Answer and Femc will be released as DLC

• Semi-Confirmed - The Answer has been confirmed via leaks, however it is likely that the female route will not be in Reload.
• Super duper confirmed for the Answer as DLC. Jossed in regards to female protagonist according to producer Kazushi Wada.

The Answer DLC Metis-related predictions

• Stephanie Sheh will reprise as Metis for the first time in 17 years.
• Metis will have a brand-new English voice actor, as Sega seems to want a "younger/fresh" cast, replacing Sheh with one of the following:
  • Elizabeth Maxwell
  • Cat Protano
  • Dawn M. Bennett for Significant Double Casting, playing both Aigis and Metis, who is her Shadow self
  • Fiona Rene
  • Jeannie Tirado
• The end of The Answer DLC will explicitly spell out that Metis is actually a Shadow Self of Aigis, tying it closer to the selves from Persona 4 and Persona 5
• Metis uses Aigis' Orgia Mode Theurgy, while Aigis gains the protagonist's fusion spell Theurgies
  • Confirmed via Expansion Pass trailer. Metis inherits Aigis' Theurgy that puts her in Orgia mode, and Aigis can use the protagonist's fusion spells. Aigis also gets some of her own unique fusion spells.

The Answer DLC will have an Old Save Bonus or Save Data bonus transfer before starting the game

• Beating the Journey portion gives Aigis access to some or all of the registered Personas that the player had.
  • Semi-Confirmed. DLC gives access to the Persona Compendium to make Fusion easier. No Old Save Bonus based on what is stated here, but it might happen.
• If the player has the Blue Envelope item for beating the Journey on Merciless, it will be added to Aigis' inventory and Elizabeth will comment on it when talking to her. It also may unlock a new fusion or fusion spell Theurgy for her.
• In the dialogue after Yukari and Mitsuru are defeated by Aigis and Metis in the Fighting Your Friend sequence, it will be changed depending on if Yukari or Aigis were romanced or not in The Journey portion.
• If the protagonist romanced a SEES member, her Theurgy gauge will max out at the beginning of the Erebus battle, similarly to when Yukari faced Arcana Lovers.

New Scenes in The Answer

• Aigis learns about the prototype units that led to the creation of Labrys, along with some other scenes that connect Reload to the Arena games.
• A scene based on the Persona 3's drama CDs, showing how Metis' face was formed, as it was based on the face of a hospitalized girl Aigis once met in a vision. Possibly the same one that would inspire Labrys and Unit 024 in Arena.
• A scene that picks right off where the ending of the original game/Reload left off, with the members of SEES rushing the protagonist to the hospital and everyone angsting about it. If the player has maxed out Social Links from the base game, there will be flashes of people reacting to his death.
• Linked Episodes between doors (or even between bosses) to, among other things, make up for the lack of Social Links; make Yukari's behaviour less jarring; and flesh out Metis' character.
• Semi-confirmed. New events in the DLC will be focused on Metis to develop her character, as well as learn new traits and characteristics. It will be structured similarly to the Dorm Hangouts.
