An online webcomic set in the Hellaverse written and illustrated by troxa-chan. So far there are thee complete storylines. Other strips have also been published.
The main stories are as follows:
- The Visitor
. In which Charlie receives a surprising visitor - Sadiki, an angel sent to bless her hotel. - Family Issues. In which Lucifer talks to his brother Gabriel about his authorization of said blessing and learns how Heaven’s taken his absence.
- War. In which Charlie receives a less welcome visitor - her aunt Camael, who’s gone off the deep end after Lucifer's fall.
Tropes:
- Affectionate Nickname:
- Lucifer's siblings refer to him as "Luci" in the present day.
- Lucifer and his siblings refer to each other as "Z", "Raph", "Gabe" and presumably "Mike".
- Lucifer refers to Charlie as "apple pie".
- All-Loving Hero: Zadkiel and Raphael (two of Charlie's respective aunts and uncles) are also this, being the angels who support her plan the most.
- Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence: God himself did this out of sadness following his oldest child's crimes and punishment.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Lucifer's youngest brother Raphael who is kinder and more sensitive compared to most angels.
- Been There, Shaped History: Camael is revealed to have attempted to set off the Cuban Missile Crisis with the Guardian Angel Sadiki being the one who thwarted her plan.
- Beleaguered Bureaucrat: Lucifer's younger brother Gabriel is shown as this, complete with Exhausted Eye Bags and almost being a Nervous Wreck.
- Big, Screwed-Up Family: Ever since Samael became Lucifer and fell from Heaven the original royal family came apart: God withdrew to the highest sanctuary out of grief, Gabriel and Michael are implied to have cracked under the pressure of ruling in his absence, Uriel quit and left, Camael murdered Jophiel and became the Horseman of War while Raphael wants everything to go back to the way it was.
- Blood Knight: Camael AKA War, leader of the Horsemen.
- Cain and Abel / Cain and Abel and Seth: Aside from Lucifer rebelling Camael killed Jophiel which is one reason why Heaven is so screwed up.
- Composite Character: Lucifer's original name Samael was that of a different angel in Jewish canon.
- The Corrupter: Camael’s able to seduce Keenie and Cletus to the dark side, additionally convincing them to turn on Colin after granting increased power (complete with an Evil Makeover). She also expresses the desire of getting Charlie to fully embrace her mantle as The Antichrist (presumably of a similar caliber to the one destined to bring about the end of days if her comment about Charlie being her "future leader" is any indication) with Camael expressing disappointment in Charlie being an All-Loving Hero and The Fettered, deriving blatant satisfaction in pushing her past the point of using force and attempting to kill Vaggie to Teach Her Anger (which thankfully fails due to Sadiki's patronage).
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Camael effortlessly kicks Vaggie's ass by breaking her arm when the latter tries forcing her to leave. She also sends Angel Dust's bullets and Charlie's Hellfire back at them, severely injuring the former.
- Expecting Someone Taller: Angel Dust states he pictured Raphael as taller than he actually is.
- Even Evil Has Standards:
- Crossed with Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Lucifer is genuinely horrified to learn of Camael's betrayal, Jophiel's death and the current state of affairs in Heaven on top of being enraged by his father's absence. He even advises Gabriel to rest although they aren't on the best of terms.
- Despite often making fun of Vaggie and getting on her nerves Angel Dust finds Camael beating her into the ground unacceptable, even calling her a "fucking bitch" for it.
- Face–Heel Turn: Camael, one of the original angels is revealed to have gone to The Dark Side, murdered her brother Jophiel and then taken up the mantle of War. Cletus and Keenie join up with her in order to exact revenge on I.M.P. for getting them exiled.
- Heroic Build: Camael is easily one of the strongest and most vicious angels, befitting her being the "Wrath Of God"; she's also well-endowed which is especially apparent in a lot of her more casual wear.
- I Don't Pay You to Think: Aside from pressuring his advisor and Stolas's heavenly counterpart Forfax into continuing his own work Gabriel viciously shoots down Adam's cajoling to receive more resources for the exterminations by openly threatening to have him replaced unless he simply does as he's told; in both cases they reluctantly agree.
- I Have Many Names: Aside from calling herself War of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Camael has been Set from Egyptian Mythology, Surtr from Norse Mythology, Ares and Eris from Classical Mythology and Discordianism and Tau from Tupi-Guarani Mythology.
- Jerkass:
- Camael, who just so happens to be one of Charlie's aunts and Lucifer's younger sisters.
- The Seraphim are hinted to be this, not approving of Zadkiel and Raphael's plans and having apparently convinced Gabriel to kick out C.H.E.R.U.B. following their encounter with I.M.P. In the past they tried to argue for Lucifer's execution.
- Knight of Cerebus: The darkly humorous tone goes out the window when Camael appears.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Turns out Zadkiel was unaware of C.H.E.R.U.B.'s status until it was too late to keep Camael from finding them.
- Papa Wolf: Lucifer DOES care about Charlie in his own way, being mad with his siblings for sending Sadiki to meet her under the belief they're hoping to sway her.
- Pay Evil unto Evil: According to Sadiki the reason for at least some of the angels who participate in the exterminations is this - many were once human and suffered by those now in Hell, which means some of them just want payback or believe the souls there deserve it.
- Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Zadkiel and Raphael both go behind Gabriel's back and get Michael's approval to make sure Charlie's hotel gets blessed.
- The Sociopath: Camael clearly takes pleasure in bringing out the anger and wrath from others.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Lucifer's youngest sister Zadkiel was the one who created, authorized and commissioned C.H.E.R.U.B. and gave them permission to interact with still-living humans (thus violating The Masquerade) which eventually resulted in most of them becoming arrogantly entitled Punch Clock Heroes; it apparently became enough of a problem for the Seraphim to convince her brother Gabriel to have a Banishing Ritual enacted following their clash with I.M.P. This collectively results in Camael acquiring two new servants in a disgraced Keenie and Cletus (Collin refuses her offer which apparently results in his implicit death when his compatriots promptly turn on him after being empowered).
- Villain Takes an Interest: The first quarter of War sees Camael confronting her niece Charlie within the hotel where she makes it clear straight away that she's hoping to convert her into (unironically) being The Antichrist. She also approaches the wandering C.H.E.R.U.B. as well.
- We Can Rule Together: An inversion; as elaborated in Villain Takes an Interest and The Corrupter, Camael’s aiming to sway Charlie from being an Anti Anti Christ in favor of being a more traditional one, but rather than bringing Charlie into her fold as The Dragon, it seems she wants Charlie to be her leader despite the fact that this would likely rob her of command over the rest of the Horsemen.
- Wide-Eyed Idealist: Charlie still counts; Raphael and Zadkiel, surprisingly enough.
- Workaholic: Gabriel tries his best to help keep Heaven running 24/7 much to Forfax's dismay.
