https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/akiko_37.jpg
She is a 22 year old high school drop-out and former leader of the magical girl group Sentinels of Justice who used to be known as Sentinel Starlight, nowadays she works retail at the make-up store Glamor Pop.
  • Emoticon: Since the game takes place from her point of view her dialogue sometimes includes emoticons to better covey her emotions and expressions note .
  • Happily Adopted: She was adopted as a baby by a human family and hopes to make them proud.
  • Healing Hands: Her main abilities as Sentinel Starlight are her healing powers, which she used on Jackie a lot during their magical girl days, due to her rather reckless behaviour at the time.
  • Holy Hand Grenade: Her main attack is called Purifying Heavenly Beam.
  • Hopeless with Tech: Downplayed. She doesn’t know how to use a computer and needs KJ's help during their break-in of Anna Lee's office to navigate one, but she seems to have adequate knowledge of most other types of technology.
  • Human Aliens: She is an alien which was quite shocking to her when she learned it.
  • Muggle Foster Parents: As stated in Happily Adopted she was taken in by her adoptive parents who, most likely, know nothing of her magical origins or escapades.
  • Princess Protagonist: She is the last princess of the Serentia royal family who were sworn guardians of truth and justice.
  • So What Do We Do Now?: Her reaction to saving the world once and for all, since her constantly saving the world as a magical girl took up so much of her time that it led to her getting terrible grades and having to drop out of high school.
  • Talking the Monster to Death: One of the methods to defeat the Midnight Lady is by having Akiko talk to her and then tell her the names of her former comrades.
  • White Magician Girl: Her magical girl powers give her the ability to heal herself and others.

    ARA

Formerly known as Lieutenant Sentinel Aurora, she became an Idol after the Sentinels broke-up.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Both her hair and eyes are pink.
  • Egging: She egged Jackie’s parents’s house more than once but stopped after learning that they made her clean it up.
  • Gone Horribly Wrong: The main reason she revealed herself as Sentinel Aurora during her debut as an Idol, was to get the sentinels back together, however it ended up with most of her former teammates resenting her for it.
  • Magic Idol Singer: She used her fame as a magical girl to jump-start her idol carrier. As it turns out she also uses her powers to boost the popularity of her songs, at first accidentally but she continued even after realizing it.
  • Magic Music: Her powers as Sentinel Aurora allow her to attack with her voice and lower her enemy's stats with songs.
  • Meaningful Rename: She used to be known as Boyoung Kim but now prefers to go by her stage name ARA. In her ending she goes back to using Boyoung Kim.
  • Number Two: During their magical girl days, she acted as Akiko's second in command.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: The only thing she does to disguise herself when out in public is wearing a blue wig, despite this she is never recognised.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Unless she is trying to disguise herself, everything from her hair to her clothing is some shade of pink.
  • Ring on a Necklace: She wears her Sentinel of Justice ring on a necklace.
  • Sell-Out: She is seen as a sell out by both KJ and Akiko for revealing her past as a magical girl as a marketing strategy, when she became idol and her involvement in Glamor Pop's Sentimentality line doesn’t help.

    Jackie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jackie_98.jpg
One of the Sentinels of Justice, Sentinel Sol, who now works as a boxing instructor, at her uncle's gym the Golden Glove.
  • Badasses Wear Bandanas: She always wears a yellow head scarf and, with her being a boxer and a magical girl, she has the badass part covered.
  • Boxing Battler: She used to box both as a magical girl and in the ring but left the competitive scene after her body became too injured from her time as a magical girl.
  • Cute Bruiser: She is very cute and has the most hands-on fighting style of the group.
  • Motherly Side Plait: She wears her hair this way but is more of a big sister figure, particularly to Leila.
  • Nieceism: After she was disowned by her parents, for being trans she was taken in by her uncle.
  • Not Brainwashed: Played for Laughs. The other Sentinels reference a few times how she was mind-controlled by the Dark Moon Sirens once, turns out she just has a thing for sexy villainesses.
  • Passing the Torch: Jackie makes plans to leave her magic behind and pass her Sentinel Ring to her boxing protegee, Leila. The epilogue reveals that KJ is looking for a protegee to train, as well.
  • The Power of the Sun: As her Sentinel name implies, she is able to use sun-based attacks and stat-buffs, especially her attacks can be incredibly destructive.
  • Queer Establishing Moment: She has two; the first is when she tells Akiko that she is gay, which she already knew, and the second is telling Leila that she is trans.

    Miranda
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/miranda_1.jpg
Formerly known as Sentinel Nova, she now works as a woodworker in a wood-shop and takes great pride in her work.
  • Employee of the Month: She is the "Employee of the Month" of most of the months in the wood-shop.
  • Having a Blast: Her powers allow her to create explosions out of stardust, which she can manipulate into any kind of shape.
  • The Quiet One: Zig Zagged. She is seen as this by the rest of the Sentinels and is the most subdued of the bunch, but she actually talks a lot when given the time to find the right words to express her self.
  • Workaholic: She spends most of her free time working on her woodworking projects.

    KJ
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kj_3.jpg
Known as Sentinel Perigee during their magical girl days, they have since started apprenticing at a tattoo studio and play the bass in a metal band.
  • Badass Biker: They ride a Hayabusa Suzuki and are by far the most badass of the group.
  • Barrier Warrior: Their magical powers allow them to create protective bubbles around themself.
  • Dork in a Sweater: They are the most tech-savvy of the group and used to wear sweaters during their high school day’s, which can be seen in a few flashbacks.
  • Smoking Is Cool: They are the only character in the game who smokes and as stated both above and below are very badass.
  • Storyboard Body: Every tattoo they have symbolizes a year of their life and they plan on adding more with time.
  • Throwing Your Shield Always Works: Despite them being the defender of the team they still have the ability to attack by throwing their shields at the enemy, which is called bubble beam.
  • Took a Level in Badass: A big part of Akiko's reunion with KJ is how much they've transformed since their teenhood; they went from a soft-spoken, geeky Shrinking Violet to a Badass Biker metalhead tattoo artist - and one much more confident about themself at that.

    Leez
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leez.jpg
Akiko's friend and work wife at Glamor Pop who is very passionate about the environment and animals.
  • Animal Lover: She love animals and knows a lot about them, especially birds, which makes sense given that she used to live in a national park when she was younger.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: She has the tendency to make bird noises and puts on make-up in a very unconventional way.
  • Endearingly Dorky: While her more unique traits lead to her being disliked by some people, she has her supporters/fans in Akiko and Miranda.
  • Goggles Do Nothing: Since she is always wearing her glasses on her head, they don't really serve a function other than making her look cute.
  • Nobody Here but Us Birds: Subverted. Making owl noises is a lot better at getting her attention than actually calling her name. Additionally in the battle against the Midnight Lady, one of her abilities is her making owl noises to distract, the Midnight Lady, from attacking.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: She starts acting weird during the halfway point of the game leading ARA to suspect her of being the culprit behind the disappearance of everyone’s magic. As it turns out she was also affected by the make-up, causing her to act strange.

An ally of the Sentinels of Justice and Akiko's Ex whom she deeply regrets dating.
