While trying to organize DethroningMoment.Western Animation, I stumbled across a work with 2 entries by the same troper (formerly on "K To Z" page, now in "Other").

• Noodle Suarez: I love Sit Down, Shut Up. Really, I do. But some of the jokes go a bit too far. The episode "Best Teacher Ever" where Ennis makes the comment about a woman he had sex with claiming that "her mouth said no but her club foot said yes" implying Ennis to be a rapist disgusts me. Like I know the show is supposed to be off color and vulgar but.... NO. IDK if he was making a disgusting joke to showcase is arrogance (Stuart referred to him as the "consensual sex master" but Stuart tends to be the oblivious one and the show doesn't always have positive continuity) or if he is truly a bastard but this joke left a bad taste in my mouth.
  • Noodle Suarez The episode "Back in Time" which while it did have a lot of funny moments, the jokes about Stuart crossdressing and not feeling like a "real woman" hasn't aged well due to transphobia and the joke about Willard being such a suck up to the point of helping Hitler comes off as a cheap stereotyping joke. Like I know he's supposed to be too nice for his own good, but they could've done better with that and have him realize My God, What Have I Done? moment but it seemed forced.

First I messaged them, asking to remove one entry. But then I noticed that they haven't been around for an entire year. So I cut the second entry according to the rules. The rules also say "go to discussion if you delete stuff", so here I am.

I would like to debate this entry:

• SenorCornholio: I keep showing up a lot here, huh? Look, I just wanna say something: Star vs. the Forces of Evil is one of my favorite shows of this decade and there's not a single episode I dislike, period; maybe a few instances of Early-Installment Weirdness, but nothing more. It's just that...well, let's just say I agree with Calamity2007 that the otherwise decent "Things Change" should not have been the Series Finale of Teen Titans, and that applies to the episode "Starcrushed" despite only being the season 2 finale. Here's a summary, with massive spoilers because this episode is still utterly amazing on its own: Star and Marco are on the receiving end of the former's crush on the latter being blurted out in front of several Mewmans (on top of Star losing her spell book and Glossaryk), and they just wanna go back to living like they used to with summer vacation about to start, so they both try to make things infinitely less awkward by focusing on just hanging out with the others while they can, with Marco hanging with Jackie and Star going with her friends to a separate party where she can hang loose and talk with Oskar, who Star realizes isn't exactly "perfect". Sounds good for an A plot, but the B plot gets hectic: Queen Moon Butterfly and the Magic High Commission go to where Ludo is located and proceed to take care of his minions; Moon is almost successful in convincing Ludo to pull a Heel–Face Turn, But Ludo is then controlled by the spirit of Toffee, who temporarily kills Moon and manages to effortlessly destroy the Magic High Commission, including the possibly permanent Heroic Sacrifice of Lekmet. Moon fights Toffee, but to no avail, so she grabs what remains of her allies and escapes, with Toffee declaring that he's coming for Star. Moon then goes to Star to tell her what's going on and that they now have to leave Earth, possibly forever. Star then goes downstairs and tells Marco how she really feels, leaving the latter speechless and Jackie having a Heroic BSoD; Star leaves, Marco runs after her, and by the time he makes it, Star's room is completely gone, leaving the old room from the first episode. Cut to credits. Not even the Mood Whiplash ending theme plays this time. To put into perspective, this is a fantastic episode in my eyes, and I was eager to see where it leads...then I found out that this is the season finale and the outcome will happen in a few months. What is it with shows ending a season on these kinds of notes, anyway? It's like the Nostalgia Critic said in his Sonic review: "Leaving us on a cliffhanger doesn't guarantee a sequel, it just pisses us off!" I'm glad this isn't the last episode, because if it was then it'd pretty much suffer the same fate as Sonic SatAM or the aforementioned Teen Titans. Even then, it's kind of a dick move to just have a season end on this kind of note. Now I know how some people felt with Avatar's season 2 finale.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but the entry seems to to say something like "The episode was good, but I hate how I have to wait a few months for the next season", which seems kinda weak to me. It would be like if I made a DMOS entry for The Wedding Squanchers because I had to wait a year and a half for the next season.

Plus, as it turns out, the season break only lasted about 4 1/2 months, which is a breeze compared to the likes of Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, and Steven Universe.

• squadallahthistle: For me, just the entire latter half of Season 2 was enough to turn me off of the show. I tried posting my opinions on the YMMV tab as an alternate point of view, but they got removed almost immediately. Now, I'm OK with a show veering into dramatic territory every once in a while, Gravity Falls did it well (except for "Dipper and Mabel VS the Future"), but the way Star VS the Forces Of Evil did it just seemed uncomfortable to me. First, Marco and Jackie got together. Then, Starco, which I used to ship HARD, became possible pedophilia after Marco spent 16 years trapped in another dimension. They tried to justify it by saying he doesn't remember much, but it still doesn't feel right. Then, the world just seems to keep beating down on Star, culminating in her having to leave Earth. I'm sorry, didn't this show used to be a comedy? The comedic elements that made me love the show in the first place seem to be overshadowed so much by the drama (and creepiness) of the latter half of Season 2 that I don't even care about when the next episodes will come out. Everyone else on this site sees it as improvement, but I see it as jumping the shark, and the people on the YMMV page for the show apparently don't want anyone who has that opinion to be heard. I'm not the only one who thinks this either, many of my friends on You Tube feel the same way.

Does it break the "One moment per work to a troper" rule?

Hey guys, just adding a bit of flavor text to a select few sections of this list. I got to the Rick and Morty one and, instead of a description or revision of a description, I decided instead to make it a sketch like from the actual show. After a while, I decided to show it to you guys and see what you think:

How is it? Do you like it, do you not like it, do you think it needs revisions? Either way, I'll await the result.

I just had a thought. Maybe the page doesn't have to be as long as it is. I mean, obviously we keep the work pages so that people know where to take their complaints, but maybe the "Other" folder deserves its own page now? Just so the page isn't as long.If this is overly long, and it's a problem to everyone, then maybe there should be some steps taken to fix it. Even a page dedicated to criticizing stuff needs some order, right? Let me know what you guys think.

Should the "Other" Folder be separated and alphabetized by show?

I've decided to move all of the works that have over 13 moments listed back onto their own pages, due to how overly long the page was. Yes, having too many subpages might not be something to be proud of, but neither does the fact that this page was the only page (according to Overly Long Pages) to have over 600,000 characters.

So, ah...Teen Titans GO! and Powerpuff Girls (2016) are doing a crossover episode. Which page do you think that'll belong on? Because it seems to have the girls as the protagonists and Mojo is the main villain, but the art style appears to be that of TTG. When it comes out, where do you think I should put it? Either way, I may have to change one of my entries.

• Edit: It's billed as a TTG episode. I'll have to find out if it's worse than Squash and Stretch.
  • Edit to the edit: Squash and Stretch is still worse IMO. The crossover episode is simply mediocre at best, if not a poor attempt to make the Powerpuff Girls out to be better than "your new favorite show". Still, I like the Take That Us! moments throughout the episode.

Can I ask why the Western Animation page had so many sub-pages removed and formed into tabs? No other page has had this happen, so why? Also, does this mean I have to replace my Teen Titans entry so I can add the Gravity Falls episode "Roadside Attraction"? Because I finally got the nerve to go to the entries list and discovered it was not there.

Should animated films have their own folder/page? There's quite a few spread through the "Other" folder and it might be nice to have them consolidated in their own area.

I'm nuking the previously mentioned entry for Frozen and the one that's accompanying it. It's blatantly untrue. More details on the discussion page for the now-defunct dedicated DMOS page for this movie.

Honkgamzeehonk's rant against Frozen really doesn't deserve to be here. It's poorly written and borderline if not downright Hate Dumb due to its incessant accusation of Double Standards despite including plenty of them in the rant. That's ignoring several instances of Critical Research Failure.

Allow me to elaborate on this so that it doesn't appear as He Panned It, Now He Sucks!. First off, there's the "does not deserve all the praise it gets" statement as if it's a complete fact. But that's far from the worst one he's got. Let's look a little further.

His first argument is that Anna's punch had no physical justification, going off of other information in the movie, and that it was solely because they needed a "strong feminist image" and that it went into Mary Sue territory. Except in the film, Anna is seen lifting a heavy copper bust, swinging around a lute, and trudging through a snowstorm as she was freezing to death from the inside. Yes, she couldn't climb the mountain, but she had no knowledge in it, the air was thin, and gravity was severely hindering her, especially as this time she was trying to lift her whole body with poor footholds. Just like when she punched Hans - it wouldn't have seemed as powerful had he not been thrown over the rail of the ship. And even if Anna weren't that strong, Hans likely hadn't gotten firm footing at the time, and like with Anna climbing the mountain, gravity did much of the work.

Next he says that Anna punching Hans ruined her good characterization. They do say that Hans deserved it, but then the rest of their rant practically gives Hans the leather pants. They mention that punching Hans meant Anna was corrupted, instead of agreeing with him that Elsa "froze her heart". Wait, what? If she agreed with Hans instead of forgiving Elsa (which further suited Anna's loving personality) that would seem pretty corrupted. Not to mention they say that Hans was just standing around and not making a hostile move to either of the sisters at the time, so he didn't deserve the punch. Basically, since the attempted murderer was not attempting to murder at the immediate moment (not to mention it seems like he was considering making a move after Anna turns away) then you should just let him be.

They next mention how it's extremely unlikely that Hans, being a rich prince, had little chance of knowing how to swim. In all fairness this is a more legitimate argument, or was before we remember something very important listed below. Other material does mention that Hans is a naval officer. It's safe to assume a naval officer and prince in the age of sail would know how to swim. But since as said before him being a naval officer is not outright said to the audience, this is very forgivable. However, they then state that had Hans not known how to swim, then Anna would be just as if not more guilty for killing him than he would have been for killing the royalty. But he outright tried to kill Elsa and Anna. And what if he didn't know how to swim? That's quite an easy mistake to rectify. Freeze a bit of water for him to get onto, or drop a rope. But by far the worst part of this argument is the "but she's a princess so she can do whatever she wants" part. It's pretty clearly shown in the movie that bad actions have bad consequences - Anna's immediate trust of Hans obviously almost got her killed. Elsa's refusal to return to Arendelle made the winter worse. The reason they're forgiven? Because they fixed it. Elsa unfroze the fjord the minute she found out how and Anna sacrificed her life to protect her sister from the mistake she made.

Next, they say that Anna punching Hans shows she will get off scot-free for anything she does because she's a woman, add to that a princess. Again, this doesn't add up. He tried to kill her and her sister. I think that's pretty good reason to punch him. Gender doesn't matter here. Except according to them, it does, because of how society might have responded if it were reversed. Again: they cite how society might have (translation never did) responded to gender reversal as one of the reasons the movie isn't worth its praise.

In the last section they say that Anna is praised as a hero for nearly killing... the guy that tried to kill her and her sister. This speaks for itself. They then proceed to claim that "everyone shills this movie as being feminist while really it's poor writing and misandrist". First off, who "shills" the movie as feminist? A vocal minority they display as the majority to discredit the other side. Is the movie feminist? Yes. But it's just as feminist as the next Disney movie. A vocal minority shilling it as the "first and best" Disney movie to do it is just that - a vocal minority. Many a huge fan of Frozen are well aware it isn't the first time Disney has done this. But according to the author of the rant, punching the attempted murderer Hans is misandrist because... he's a man?

To wrap it up, their citing of articles is just baffling. "Anti-Freeze Team" and "Frozen Sucks Tho" being two of three. Well, I'm sure articles written by groups dedicated to hating the movie won't be biased at all. Wouldn't you expect a calm analysis on gay marriage from a member of the Westboro Baptist Church? Not to mention there's another troper adding on to the rant that Anna was only allowed to harm somebody else in self-defense "unless it's funny or shows what a cool strong character you are". I already covered why this is ridiculous.

Allow me to say right now, if it's not obvious: there is nothing wrong with disliking Frozen. In fact, there are quite a few legitimate arguments against plot holes or other, like the four entries above the one in question. However, Honkgamzeehonk's entry on the page is on the opposite end of that spectrum. And that's why I think it should be removed, as well as the one below it.

Going back to that argument about Hans not being able to swim? Do you realize just where they are? They're on a ship. A post-Renaissance, Age of Sail ship in colonial times Norway. Don't you think Norway, what with all that Viking stuff and all, would have gotten some safety technology for anyone who can't swim? The Norwegians have long had life preservers of cork. You'd think on a ship that's likely escorting important political members, they'd have some form of life preserver. Even if not the cork, as said before, can't you just toss down a rope? Or even have Sven (who can clearly swim) jump overboard? I don't think Hans would be picky about how to survive. Or Kristoff, who would clearly be able to swim, seeing as he stands above frozen lakes for a living and probably would know how to get out of the water if the ice broke. Why couldn't he dive in and save the bastard?

However, the crowning achievement of Critical Research Failure follows: Hans is seen swimming in the first act of the movie. Yeah, remember when Anna realized she had to get to the coronation and the boat Hans was standing on tipped over? And remember how he lifted the entire rowboat with one arm and swam with the rest of his body? It's pretty obvious that he is fully capable of swimming. He was never in any inkling of danger of dying in a watery grave. If it's apparent that Anna learned Kristoff's name in an offscreen conversation, it's pretty safe to assume Hans mentioned that he swam out of the water or at least that he fell in so he could make a joke to Anna about it. Look at this guy. Does he look like he's in any danger of drowning? [1]◊

Eddy1215: Believe it or not, I've got one for Kim Possible. While a few Post Script Season episodes bug me, one that really leaves a bad taste in my mouth is "Stop Team Go". Basically, Shego has been turned good, and Kim is enjoying spending time with her. The problem is that she's preferring to spend time with her over Ron, her boyfriend. Then, to add injury to insult, during the climatic battle with the Villain of the Week, Ron accidentally gets turned evil again, much to Kim's annoyance. Basically, the entire episode episode was to appease Kigo fans, and before you start saying that I'm complaining about my Fan-Preferred Couple, may I remind you that the pairing in question is suppose to be canon? Think about that.

Isn't it kind of petty to complain about ship sinking?

The Rick and Morty Straw Feminist example. While it's a good argument, I feel he's overreacting a bit to the 7-8% difference.

That Operation M.O.V.I.E.S. example....nitpicking manbabies at their finest.

I had to take out Princess Togezo's Catdog example cause, it just isn't fair or thought through. She's saying Cat was an ass for not helping his brother or the people in Nearburg. Think about it. Be in Cat's 'shoes'. Everyone always treated you like shit even when you were younger, your own brother doesn't give a rat's ass if you get injured or is unhappy and doesn't to try comfort you and even as a baby your stepparent Winslow always messes with you/treat you like shit and take's Dog's side. If you were brought up like that, would you try to to get those people, who always treated you like shit and made you life hell, out of jail? And as for the Cat Dog and Helga and Olga sibling relationship, Olga at least TRIES to think about Helga's feelings and doesn't try treat Helga like crap, which is why Helga helped her in return and unlike poor Cat, at least Helga has some people who CARE about her. Phoebe cares about her friend and Arnold cares about her too. So she helps them in return. There's a saying: You catch more flies with honey then with vinegar.

Okay, something needs to be done about everyone sectioning off shows with more than four examples to their own articles. The The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, The Amazing World of Gumball, Dexter's Laboratory, House Of Mouse, Mad, The Powerpuff Girls, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012, Tom and Jerry, and Ultimate Spider Man DMOS pages are all absurdly short. If a show happens to have a lot of examples, soft-split it into its own section and then give it its own article if it gets out of hand, but we need to get all these pages under control.

I think the DMOS posts for Arthur and Avatar: The Last Airbender are big enough to have their own DMOS pages.

The show in question is Skunk Fu!, and if my sources are correct, the show aired before Kung Fu Panda even hit theaters.

• In a similar manner (this seems to be a pattern with this character now), the episode "All Your Fault." Lemongrab and his clone/boyfriend Lemongrab use all of their food to make themselves children, because they believed that Princess Bubblegum wanted them to have the secret formula for making candy life to make "more family." The earls, and all of their new babies, almost starve to death because of this. The Lemongrabs blame Princess Bubblegum for their malnourishment, and demand that she give them all of her candy. The situation escalates, resulting in one of the Lemongrabs's sons dying, and it ends with Princess Bubblegum erasing the formula from the Lemongrabs's brains so they can't make more babies. No one is mad at the Lemongrabs, they don't seem upset that one of their babies died, and they smile when Princess Bubblegum says "their hearts are fine." Princess Bubblegum has swung from one extreme to the other- she went from abusing Lemongrab for his mental condition to using said condition to justify his increasingly dangerous and disgusting actions. And as if that wasn't enough, the Lemongrabs are fathers.

• hairylegherpich: For me it has to be "Princess Monster Wife," an episode I'd forgotten about. It was fantastic, except for literally the last three seconds. After a whole episode filled with tender, poignant dialogue and character development, the writers ruined it by making a cheap, unfunny "Ice King is a crazy sociopath" joke at the very end.

One moment per troper per work. Either replace the old one with this one or leave this one off the page.

With regards to the "His Hero" episode: I'm not bothered by Finn saving an old lady from a giant. My problem is, firstly, that Finn's attempts at charity and nonviolent help are portrayed as idiotic and only making things worse, and secondly, that the episode makes a point of showing that you can't help people without punching someone else in the face. They even state that the moral is "never deny your rowdy nature". The lesson is definitely supposed to be "violence is the only answer". And yeah, Adventure Time isn't known for it's morals. So? That's no excuse. Family Guy isn't known for having likable characters, yet the DMOS page is filled with instances where characters are unlikable.

What should be done when someone adds two entries at the same time (so there isn't a most recent one to pull)? Hurpadurp added these two under Adventure Time. So far I haven't pulled either of them.

• hurpadurp: "Mystery Dungeon." Not the whole episode- overall it was a fantastic episode, but any scene involving Ice King and NEPTR. The "Ice King can't remember NEPTR" bullshit is disgustingly contrived. The writers seem to have forgotten that, the last time NEPTR and Ice King were together, NEPTR was the one being a total dick to the Ice King and pelting pies in his face. It seems the writers are pathetically shoehorning in any "Feel sorry for the Ice King, cry for Simon" moments they can, while forgetting about previously established characterization and development while doing so! What- NEPTR hated Ice King the last time he met him, then we have NEPTR being sad because Ice King doesn't remember him?! Plus, NEPTR kept calling Ice King "Papi." He already decided that he saw Finn as his father, not ice king!
  
  My other beef with Mystery Dungeon was that the apparent positive character development Lemongrab got at the end of "You Made Me" had been flushed down the toilet for the purpose of comedy. At the end of "You Made Me," we apparently see Lemongrab actually being a nice, friendly guy. He cheerfully let his prisoners go and sent them away to the Candy Kingdom, he seems to be on good terms with Princess Bubblegum, and Finn and Jake seem pretty okay with him. We have the hope that, now that he has a friend and he's no longer desperately lonely, he can actually be a nicer person. Then in "Mystery Dungeon," he's being a dick again- verbally abusing people and even calling Tree Trunks "Slave." And the guy doesn't even seem grateful when Tree Trunks saves his life- he just says, "That'll do, Slave-Trunks." Just... Fuck you, Lemongrab.
• hurpadurp: For me, it would have to be "Too Young." Only because of how much of a Cosmic Plaything Lemongrab was throughout the whole episode. Now I know that later on, he's revealed to be more dangerous, but in Too Young he was not dangerous- he seemed more like a stressed-out substitute teacher who didn't know how to do their job right. If he had been a legitimate villain I would not feel inclined to defend him. Not that he was a nice person- he was jerk- but he was an idiot, not a bad guy. He wasn't a bad guy- he was a retarded, pitiful jerk who was just doing his job. The worst part was when Princess Bubblegum, (who is basically his mother,) pushes him onto the floor and he just lays there and cries. How am I supposed to laugh at that?! Why did the writers just shit all over him like that?! Even for Adventure Time standards, that episode was just absurdly cruel and mean-spirited. Especially because Lemongrab's actions seem to be more the result of him being an incompetent fool than a genuinely bad person, while Finn and Princess Bubblegum purposefully hurt him several times in the episode. I know I was supposed to root for Finn and Princess Bubblegum, but the plot seemed to forget that Lemongrab was not a villain- he was a mentally challenged, borderline retarded jackass who was given a position of authority that he was not capable of having. I felt more inclined to wonder why this poor guy was not talking to a therapist about his problems, or being properly instructed on how to rule a kingdom- or something to make his impossible life just a little bit easier to bear. Why did the writers have to wait over a year to finally let the poor son of a bitch be happy about life?!

• For me, it had to be "Up A Tree." It was a boring episode, the drawings looked wrong, and it was completely forgettable. Also, "James Baxter the Horse" for the same reason.
• "Web Weirdos," for being disgusting, horrifying beyond all reason, and having the Unfortunate Implications of babies fixing a broken marriage.
• "Simon and Marcy," for being surprisingly overhyped and surprisingly uneventful and boring.
• "Slow Love" for being really, really gross.

No unsigned entries or multiple moments per work. Also, these moments don't have enough context anyway.

The complaint about Return of Harmony 2 makes no sense. It claims that Discord's defeat is anticlimatic compared to Nightmare Moon's...but...They did the exact same thing to her! Just like Discord, the Mane Six hit her with the rainbow beam...thing and that was that.

I didn't get the idea that Bending = goodness. Numerous characters who are benders are depicted as being villainous before Amon's reveal, especially Tarrlock. Meanwhile, the Bending Council is seen blatantly abusing its power, and it's shown as a bad thing. Bending is depicted as being a natural part of a person, so losing it is traumatizing, even if the person losing it is loathsome.

The problem with the Equalists is that they're wholly indiscriminate with whom they attack. They make no distinction between "violent criminal" and "pacifist monk fighting for non-bender rights". If they stuck purely to criminals, then the only people who'd have a problem with them would be people who have issue with vigilantism in general, but when they make it a point to attack the police, bending celebrities, and other people who don't go out of their way to attack non-benders.

Also, we don't see the aftermath of the Equalist revolt. They probably fractured given the that the highest level members were either killed, captured, or a bender, so they aren't the organized force they used to be especially when the military moved in.

Should "King of the Hill" get it's own page? It's examples are around 20, yet "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" have around 50 (havn't checked for "Zero Punctuation").

Someone recently put unde the Animaniacs entry that ap[parently the episode wasn't making fun of fans, it was making fun of Fan Dumb I've put the entry here and can we please resolve this on the discussion page:

• Animaniacs, well, didn't exactly treat its fans with as much respect as Tiny Toon Adventures, but one episode fans absolutely hated was the short which begins with a die-hard Animaniacs fan, stereotyped with a beer gut, glasses, WB memorabilia all over his room and constantly typing on his computer, telling the viewers about random elements about the show itself. This short is called the "Please Please Please Get a Life Foundation", which is, in a nutshell, the show taking a time out to turn to its fans and flip the bird. Yeah, we give you ratings that pay your bills and we are the idiots, you're welcome.
  • The episode wasn't making fun of people liking the show, it was making fun of members of the Fan Dumb

This has been bothering me for a while.

If you can only have one moment per work on the page, then how come fluffything has at least 9 or 11 entries on this page?

Cut this entry from Aqua Teen Hunger Force as it's complaining about network promotions and not complaining about something that happened within the show itself:

• So We Ate Them: No qualms toward the show itself, but the promotion they did for their movie (while, admittedly, an April Fools prank) came off as a salvo of dick moves. They started by hyping it like no tomorrow, trying to get interest up. No issue there, that was okay. Then, they played commercials announcing that they were going to play the whole thing on the air "because we're f**king^note the censorship is present in the original crazy." The evening of the screening, the station kicked the hype into full swing, shoehorning loud and dramatic plugs (scored to bombastic orchestral arrangements) into all of their bumps. Then, when they finally began screening the show—They shrunk the video to one inch by one inch, cut the audio, and the network resumed business as usual about two minutes in. But wait, It Got Worse; All through the other cartoons, bits of animation, blown to ridiculous proportion, are constantly popping up with reminders to look at that tiny box at the corner, complete with audio. Many of them took up about half the screen. And on top of that, the overblown promos from before showed no sign of letting up, not even well adter the film was over. It was bad enough that I didn't touch [adult swim] for nearly a week.

Please pick a specific moment where MAD took the mickey out of Cars:

Says right at the top of the page: One moment per work to a troper. Disney23, please pick a single episode that you found the worst rather than three at once.

• Disney23: I usually tolerate the Gene Deitch Tom And Jerry cartoons, but the three cartoons ("Down And Outing", "High Steaks" and "Sorry Safari") where Tom is placed with a Jerkass owner who beats the tar out of Tom whenever he slips up something or is framed for something Jerry did, oftentimes with a Slasher Smile on his face. And we're supposed to be laughing at this?

I was going to add an entry for The Legend Of Korra, but I realized that it was just so dang long and had multiple moments in it. I need help picking a moment. I couldn't choose between Korra pestering Mako about his feelings for her, Korra and Mako kissing in "The Spirit of Competition", Bolin getting the mean eye from everyone when he tried to cheer up Korra, Aang giving Korra all of her powers back and then unlocking the Avatar State, or Korra and Mako's declarations of love in the end. Could I get a recommendation from anyone?

• Another hate of mine is both Adventure Time episodes "Power Animal" and "Crystals Have Power". Jake, for one thing, is so distracted he can't help Finn, who's being forced to pole dance! The following episode isn't any better. Jake can't help Finn, who's turning into a crystal, and will not fight because of some thing he did when he was little. It's not funny nor uplifting at all. I fricking love this show, but I hate those episodes.

Since this is natter but I just want to say it somewhere, just pointing out on the example for The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron, Australia ISN'T a continent in a variety of countries, but Oceania is. Not sure if it applies to the example, but just saying it's not as bad of an error as it's made out to be.

• Philipnova798: I enjoy The Transformers in the So Bad, It's Good way (though it has had its moments of good writing, plot & character development and animation). But there's two episodes in particular that grind my gears to the point where I cannot sit through them without cringing:
  • The first is "A Prime Problem". The episode consists of nothing but wasted potential and the Autobots dropping the Idiot Ball at nearly every given turn. The idea of Megatron making an Optimus clone was an okay idea, but it was played out in the most stupid way possible. And when the real Prime returns after his supposed death at the hands of Lazerbeak. They come up with quite possibly the most absurd ways to prove which is the real one (WE MUST HAVE A RACE anyone?) It's to the point where you're just begging for the episode to be over.
    • The other is the very infamous B.O.T. The episode opens up... I know Scale and proportions have never been kind to the franchise, but the Combaticons should all not fit on the same road. It Gets Worse, much worse, not only in animation, but in virtually every other aspect. There's Roland and Martin - two other most reviled humans ever conceived in the entire franchise (Even more than the ones in either Armada or Energon), Starscream calling the Combaticons Megatron's soldiers when Starscream was shown to have made them and the main idea of Brawl's brain being transplanted into some collage students' robot. Not only that, but for a show that's Merchandise-Driven; this particular episode does a very poor job at doing so - Defensor's force field is shit and Bruticus is nothing more than a pathetic shell of himself here. And to think this episode was by one of the writers of Pinky And The Brain.

A troper put something called: "The Scooby Doo Project" What show is that from? The Troper didn't say.

On Jimmy Neutron's entry, a troper complained that Jimmy calls Australia a country instead of a continent, when Australia is actually considered a part of the Oceania continent. Do I permission to delete that sentence since it's a case of being misinformed?

American Dad should have it's own page seeing as how it has quite a few DMOS examples listed.

Re: Futurama. Hurk, the second episode of season six. That went very wrong way too fast, and the Kill Sat twist was... what.

IIRC, this was cut way back when by someone who wasn't the signer, with no explanation:

• cmdragon:: Again for Total Drama World Tour in the finale of all things. Heather rejecting Alejandro's love for the money "after" an epic kiss in a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming. She gets the money after kneeing him in the kiwis and pushing him down the volcano on a block of ice. Then Zombie Ezekiel grabs it from her, they wrestle for it, and homeschool is thrown into the volcano, effectively killing off a main character in a pathetic attempt to shout out Lord of the Rings. Then the volcano erupts because of pineapple *Facepalm* because Chris was too dumb to live and didn't see the sign posts. Episode ends with campers fleeing from the island chased by lava with a firey ball of death on its way to smush Heather. But wait, there's more! An after episode clip reveals a horribly disfigured Alejandro (He got fried by the lava) being put in a cybershell in yet another pointless character destroying shout out, comeplete with a big no and Chris dressed as Palpatine. I am disgusted.

This is what the part about TDWT's ending in that entry on Action's finale was reffering to, as if to say that TDA's ending was worse as it wasn't planned out.

Before it was deleted, there was a Justifying Edit saying that Ezekiel survives and Alejandro's end was more of a karmatic not-really-death. Also, someone else had added this moment, although as a completely different entry.

So... yeah. I would add it back, but I waited too long (I put this on my to do list a while after the deletion) and now the finale's already mentioned.

Shadoboy: Probably the most hated episode of the series is Everyone knows it's Bendy. The show creators have actually apologized for making that episode!

A few things that were cut from the page when it was being brought into line with the new guidlines:

• Transformers death of basically the entire cast to make way for a new set of toys is often seen as a dethroning moment. Mostly because killing the old characters was unnecessary and illogical (since in the preceding series all of the characters suffered more severe injuries and survived, but in the movie they drop like flies). The fact that the new characters are pretty much universally lame adds insult to injury, and the whole mess just traumatized a generation of children.
  • To put it in modern perspective, imagine going to watch "The Simpsons Movie" and seeing all of the Simpsons die in the first half hour so the remainder of the movie could star Ned Flanders.
• The Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends episode 'A Firestar Is Born'. Not just a DMOS for this show, but for the character Wolverine and the X-Men in general when, after being throws to the side by Juggernaut, ''Wolverine gets his claws stuck in a simple brick wall. I-I'm stuck!
• The Powerpuff Girls beating up Rainbow the Clown and throwing him in prison was their DMOS. It was just utterly sickening that the girls would do an act like that.
  • The DMOS for this troper was the horrifically pointless death of Bunny, the deformed and mentally challenged "sister" they made for kicks. It would have to fly five miles straight up to reach Downer Ending status. Way to pump that Nightmare Fuel to all the kiddies at home!
  • Probably the worst episode, however, is Neighbor Hood. Basically, a somewhat harmless kids show starts asking its young viewers to send them money. Petty, but nothing illegal so far... until Bubbles watches it and actually robs the mayor's bank to steal all the town's money. No hypnotizing was involved, a children's tv personality only had to ask Bubbles to commit a crime that she beats people up for doing regularly. Oh, and not only is she never held responsible for this, but her sisters decide that the people involved in the show are evil criminals because they had the nerve to... ask for money in a kid's show. They're right- the show was being taped, after all, in an actual prison, but that just raises the question: why didn't this clue Bubbles in as she was handing them the money? Needless to say, this was not a very good Bubbles episode.
    • And, it's based on a real-life event. Parents were angry about it, but no one was arrested for it. In both cases, it was just the kids' show's hosts being assholes. Uh, note to the writers of PPG, being a selfish jerk is rude, but it's not a crime.
    • Bubbles is a Karma Houdini. All the girls have their low points of acting as a villain, Blossom in A Very Special Blossom and Buttercup in Moral Decay, but they get punished for them. Bubbles gets of scott-free in Bubblevicious and Neighbour Hood both.
  • What about the episode where Mojo Jojo makes the girls giant, and the citizens of Townsville berate them for their clumsiness? That's a What The Hell, Townspeople? moment there.
• Teen Titans: Trouble In Tokyo: Also, when Robin takes down the Ultraman expy, he then starts pounding it brutally to finish it off. Not only was this unnecessary, not only did it landed Robin and his team mates in hot water, but it becomes worse when you realize he was taught by Batman, who has a VERY strict "No Kill" policy (sure he beats the crap out of a bad guy but when they're down he's done with then he doesn't just keep pounding away). Way to go Robin.
  • And then there's the opening sequence, in which the Titans fight off an intruder in the tower, subdue him and call the police to ...no wait, I mean tie him up and throw him into the basement so Robin can pretend to Jack Baeur. Huh? Since when have they ever operated like that? Yeah, yeah, Batman's a dark vigilante hero, but even Batman doesn't hold criminals captive in the Batcave until they talk! Besides, regardless of origins, the Teen Titans cartoon is a whole universe away from the sort of behavior. It came out of nowhere and made Robin look like a psycho, especially when the police get involved shortly after that (and rightly calls Robin out, which, even though the character was supposed to be a Jerkass, came off more as The Strawman Strikes Back). Ten minutes into the movie, and that whole setup of Robin going all Gitmo with a suspect had already ruined it for me.
  • Batman has taken many people to interogate them in the Batcave. He knows several methods of torture, and has beaten people to a bloddy mess for answers. As for Batman not taking things too far, once he truly tried to BEAT THE JOKER TO DEATH. WITH HIS FISTS.
    • What makes this even worse is the infuriating Aesop Amnesia that got dumped on Robin. You know, one of the coolest and more subtle moments of Season 3 and 4 was Robin growing out of his Jerkass characterization after nearly losing his life and friends in 'Haunted' and becoming someone genuinely more caring (if still a hardass), which was emphasized in episodes like The Quest, Titans East, and the entire Raven arc. Some of the best writing in television. Then it gets completely undone in this movie. Fuck you, straight-to-DVD movie.
  • One for Raven, through the entire movie she makes fun of Beast Boy. Belittling him and insulting him (even when he's RIGHT about something.) She never gets her comeuppance. One gets the impression that the writers went overboard trying to sink Beast Boy/Raven.
    • Of course, if they were trying to sink ships like this one, they didn't know what they were doing.
  • In the show itself, there's the series finale. After spending years waiting to figure out what happened to Terra, we get an answer... In the form of her completely forgetting who she is. While Beast Boy is (futilely) trying to return her to her old self, the Titans are fighting a seemingly unbeatable opponent. As Beast Boy says his final goodbye to Terra, he leaves her school and... Cue Credits. That's it. After watching this episode, I almost felt betrayed. The episode itself wasn't terrible, but the fact that it got Screwed Over By The Network and forced this episode to become the finale really, really sucked. Which also brings up the point that they had originally wanted to do this episode in Season 3. If they had done that instead, then perhaps they could've given Terra back her memories or something, and the show would've ended on a triumphant note with the Brotherhood defeated.
  • In the season 4 episode "Troq," the team pledges to help an intergalactic soldier with his "final solution" to an alien menace. En route, however, the team learns the likable soldier is also a racist prone to speaking and acting on his prejudices. Despite this, the team helps to commit genocide, parting with the Broken Aesop that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, as long as it's human-shaped and speaks English.
• The Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends episode "I Only Have Surprise for You" was one big DMOS for the entire Fosters' residence. They basically brutally humiliate Mac in an extremely cruel fashion, even though they are susposed to be his friends who actually care about him. Some friends huh?

I find it kind of coincidental that the shows that got their own pages were all on FOX.

Gave King Of The Hill it's own page because it became so long. When there is ~20 entries, it's too long to just scroll through on the main page, so folders are used and it's placed on the top. However, if it gets longer than that, it's a pain to get through even in the edit mode.

Can we resolve this here please, and not on the main page:

• As the above, the episode "Scott Tenorman Must Die!". God. Damn. The fact that after publicly confessing to his horrible crime, Cartman is shown to be in the right is bad enough. The fact that this episode (which This Troper can't actually stand to watch) is cited as one of the best in the entire history of the show by many, many people is almost unbearable.
  • Cartman was in the right in that episode? HE MURDERED SCOTT'S PARENTS AND MADE THEM INTO CHILI AND MADE SCOTT EAT IT. There is no way anyone could view him as in the right.
    • No one did. They just realize that they shouldn't piss Cartman off. Also, when he's trying to atone in that episode which spoofs the Sixth Sense, the murder of the Tenorman's is cited as one of the things he needs to atone for. And Butters is visibly like "wow Eric." So no one actually views it as in the right.
