Super Robot Wars

I still think there needs to be a Double Zankantou combination attack with Sanger/Zengar and Al Van.

It's so obvious that it needs to happen.

That... would actually be amazing. The Jovians basically took Gekiganger 3 and perverted it for their own ends, so for the actual Gekiganger 3 crew to be brought into our reality and see how their efforts were twisted and turned into a vehicle for war and blatant destruction would be fascinating as hell. Better yet, have them be pulled out of their own dimension right after they beat the Big Bad of their own series. Have them believe themselves victorious and that the world will forever be at peace, only to find out that in our world, they themselves have in a sense become the Big Bad. Postmodernism at its' finest.

Anyhoo, I guess I can see where you're coming from, but it's still called Super Robot Wars for a reason. It's not exactly a Super Robot War if there aren't any actual Super Robots, is it? I'm not saying you should add any if you don't want to, but it still doesn't feel right to me to have a Super Robot War without any actual Supers.

I seem to remember one game had no Real Robots. Lessee... wiki says... SRW NEO on the Wii, unless you count G Gundam as Real. Turnabout's fair play and all that. I will, however, resist the temptation to include Guyver.

Maybe in the second game of this hypothetical subseries I'll include more magic-related "robots" like Rayearth, Dunbine, Gasaraki, and Break/Broken Blade (ok, maybe not that last one; I didn't like it much).

And... yes, that was totally what I was going for with Gekiganger. Not just because it'd be hilarious to see them interact with the cast from their favourite anime. >.>

And this goes back to my own wishlist. Why have Gekiganger without Celestial Being: The Movie?

...That is a puzzlement.

How about this: What if Bamco had Trailblazer, but rather than playing it straight, pulled a Fix Fic like with Seed Destiny and turned it into an actual good story? And then you could have the Celestial Being movie without having to allow in a shitstain of a movie by proxy.

Also, I added Gekiganger into my own list because it's just too good an idea to pass up. Thanks guys, seriously.

I love how every villain's reaction in V when facing Tetsuya is "Shit! This guy is really good!" XD

I wish that they would at least use S2 or at least S1 over the 00 movie. Or at least use the Suits but not the plot itself. But what they really need to fix is the Eva story, because only sticking to rebuild really isn't working better than just using the original series and End.

Personally, I don't want them to use Rebuild or the Original Series and end, but that's just me.

I think it could have some funny synergy with Jushin Liger, because Liger is an entirely organic mech and pretty much the world's fanciest Titan.

Man, that mobile game has a weird fucking roster, huh? Was anybody expecting Daizyujin from Zyranger to be playable?

Harukaiser, Kantam Robo, the Sakura Wars and Godzilla characters seemed pretty out-of-the-box, but they finally added a Sentai megazord to SRW! Like, I honestly thought that if they were gonna put one in there, it'd be like the Battle Fever Robo or maybe even Kyuren-Oh, but it feels like they chose Daizyujin on purpose... also, I want that Daizyujin figure.

It probably has something to do with the fact that it's well known internationally. Still, I certainly wasn't expecting Super Sentai to make an appearance. The Rangers/Sentai members usually have a part of the action before they bust out the giant robots.

Well, Giant Robo only had one third of the show actually feature the titular Giant Robo, instead focusing more on Super Powered on-foot fighting, and it still managed to make it in back in the day . If it's got a giant robot, it's fair game, regardless of how much it's actually used.
