This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Requesting edit for The Last of Us Part II for a removal of a certain trope:
- Overshadowed by Controversy: Allegations of developer mistreatment culminating in the entire plot of the game being leaked has ended up overshadowing much discussion of the game itself on social media.
Keep in mind, this was added right as soon as the leak hit, and the game wasn't released yet. I say it's too soon for it to be overshadowed.

Please move Wick to the Administrivia/ namespace, it's quite obviously intended for it as it's in the admin page type and mostly describes TVT etiquette (the discussion and history of the page are short and quite interesting, so I'm asking for a mod move so they can be kept, even if ghost wicks are irritating).
Also, please make Digitised Sprites a redirect to Digitized Sprites (British -> American spelling).

In that case, I assume it'll be done once you catch up again (which I was honestly shocked couldn't be then, I thought it was an action that wouldn't take long)? Please do so, I suppose if it can be a main redirect if there are hard-coded links, and make the Digitised Sprites redirect at least.
I suppose that Evil Overlord List does not belong in Main/, but yeah, debate it elsewhere (and it doesn't fit that namespace not just because it's not a trope, but because it's more of a work or JFF thing, again debate it elsewhere. Stuff in Main/ does not have to be tropes, there can also be indexes and disambigs. A more proper case is Wick, where it's clear it's more of an Administrivia/ page).
