The star of a retro platformer game, although he's more like Mario or Kirby than a Mascot with Attitude. He's a friendly gecko on a quest to collect all the turtle shells, which have been stolen off the backs of his turtle friends.
You are the star of a game in a similar vain to Klonoa and/or Ni GHTS. That's a hero I see in you.

You're a Kid Hero in a bizarre trippy world, and you help out the world's quircky citizens with their problems.
A Knight In Sour Armor who always tries their best to do the right thing, no matter how bad things look. They may be assisted by a dragon or another cool creature.
I love that!

To be honest, the armadillo knight is so good that it's hard to think of anything else... but I'll try. :P
The protagonist of a cartoon, maybe something with a tone like Rocko's Modern Life more than something "for kids." He's a reptilian Cartoon Creature who lives with his friends. In each episode, the friends have various problems in life, and Bluethorn does his best to help them out.
, Aw, these are both great. Thanks, guys.

A big, friendly bear with an edge, probably from the same universe as Bluethorn's character from your post. Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal most definitely applies, and you would use more brute strength than a specific skill to help solve problems. Of course, the only thing bigger than the muscles is the heart.

You are the hero of a cartoon show that is a mix of Chowder and RegularShow. In this show you a FunnyAnimal bear who gets dragged into crazy adventure by your LoyalAnimalCompanion that is a puma who happens to be a doctor. His bizarre inventions lead you to meet very strange characters, all while you try to keep your work in a circus and help everyone.
You are a hero in the style of ScottPilgrimVsTheWorld with a lot of influence in DragonBall and a bit of the super hero genre . You and your friends fight evildoers with the power of music, but you have to manage high school life and your relation with your family while doing so. Your biggest enemy looks like Broly and the Fire Lord Ozai combined.
Awwww, I loved that. It looks like the plot from MyHeroAcademia.

A Magical Girl with a firm belief in The Power of Friendship. Wields powers based around Hard Light, and defends a sleepy town from odd shadow-y creatures. Still learning the ropes of things as she goes, but spunky, and determined to be a force for good.
The protagonist of a Spiritual Successor to shows like Regular Show and BoJack Horseman. He is a Cartoon Creature (resembling either Tiny or Dino) who lives in an apartment with his friends. He's one of the more calm-tempered friends, but he's still a Cloudcuckoolander. He and his friends do life things. Hilarity Ensues.

A Funny Animal in a cartoon for 3 to 5 year olds. Teaches kindness, courage and respect. Extremely cute.
A bookish Science Hero (but more interested in mythology than just science) who gets help from various supernatural creature that she summons from books.
I would love to be a hero like that, and I love the nickname!

Thank you for bumping this thread. :)
A different kind of Wild West Armadillo. Instead of being the "strong, silent type" like Dillonnote That's how the wiki for the games describes him, Bluethorn, or "Cactus Blue", is much less confident in his ability, but still wants to be a hero. When danger strikes the town, his priority is to get everyone to safety... but if the baddies hurt his friends, he will fight.

Basically, you would be a superhero-themed puma with a lot of werecat attributes as you go around the city rescuing ferocious kittens from old-ladies... You would also have special endurance and fast reaction-times to traffic-lights. You would also spend most your time fighting a rogue gallery of other animal-themed villians (Like the Anaconda and the Big Bear).
A Knight In Sour Armor Vigilante protecting a city from crime.

A Magical Girl whose goal is to spread happiness.
A dragon-like Half-Human Hybrid in a cyberpunk setting who frequently wears a cool-looking trench coat. He's a bit of an anti-hero (but not of the 90's variety) but nonetheless has a strong sense of justice.
An Read or Die heroine. She is also an archiver of wisdom.
The leader of a team of Magical Girls. She's a little shy and not very confident in her abilities, but her teammates help boost her confidence so they can save the day together. Her power is... probably Star Power?
A Sad Clown hero in an RPG Game or inspired setting.
The protagonist of a Hollow Knight-esque story that combines cute and spooky aesthetics.
The protagonist of a Changeling Fantasy YA Urban Fantasy series. First-Person Smartass optional.
An Everyman who gets sucked into a conflict he doesn't care about.
