Alter Ego: Jeffrey Solomon Mace

- "There's only one Captain America. I can never be him. But I can carry on in his name — with his name. That I can do. That would be an honor."
The Golden Age Patriot and third Captain America. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jeffrey Mace found employment as a reporter at the Daily Bugle. During the Second World War he was inspired by the heroics of Captain America, and decided to become a costumed adventurer as well. To this end he created the identity of the Patriot. After the war, Patriot helps to save John F. Kennedy from a 1946 assassination attempt. During this attempt, Mace rescues the second man to call himself Captain America, William Naslund. Naslund dies in front of Mace, who, at the behest of two FBI agents, becomes the new Captain America,

Cast out of Asgard by the Frost Giants for being born puny, Jack Frost lives in the Arctic North unaware of his otherworldly past.
- Ambiguously Human: Thor believes he might be a long-lost Frost Giant that because of his minuscule size fled to Earth, but there's no way to be sure.
- An Ice Person: Jack Frost has the ability to generate sub-freezing temperatures. Combined with ambient water vapor, he can create snow, sleet, and ice for various effects such as propelling snow flurries at hurricane wind-speeds or fashioning ice into various simple constructs such as spheres, bridges, or walls.
- Mysterious Past: His true origins are shrouded in mystery.
- Walking Swimsuit Scene: Only wears a speedo thanks to his ice powers.
Red Raven

Red Raven is a World War II era hero and a member of the Liberty Legion. In modern times, he has continued his career fighting alongside the Defenders and the X-Men among others.
- Color Animal Codename: Red Raven.
- Legacy Character: Several people have taken the Red Raven identity.
- No Name Given: Since his debut he hasn't had his name revealed, if he even has one.
- Winged Humanoid: Has Wings that allow him to fly.
Blue Diamond

Elton Morrow was a professor exploring Antarctica when he discovered a glowing blue diamond. On his way back to the United States his ship was attacked and the box he carried was shattered. The diamond exploded and embedded itself into Elton's skin thus making him the Blue Diamond. He would later be transformed into a diamond hard body; now he travels through space with his lover Star-Dancer.
- Blue Is Heroic: His costume is blue and he's a hero.
- Color Character: Blue Diamond.
- Nigh-Invulnerable: He is invulnerable to most physical and energy attacks.
- Super-Strength: His body was permeated with shards of an exploding azure diamond. This granted him superhuman strength (he could press approximately 10 tons).

A Japanese-American super-heroine from WWII, founder of The Kid Commandos. During World War II, Gwenny Lou Sabuki, the teenage daughter of Japanese-American scientist Dr. Sam Sabuki, was present at a stateside battle in which sidekicks Bucky and Toro of the superhero team The Invaders, fought the supervillain Agent Axis. There one of Dr. Sabuki's experiments accidentally gave Gwen and her friend, David 'Davey' Mitchell, superhuman powers.
- Affirmative-Action Legacy: She was Japanese-American and she took the Golden Girl identity from the caucasian Betsy Ross.
- Badass Family: Her son and granddaughters have all followed her footsteps to become heroes.
- Freak Lab Accident: Gained powers when one of her father's machines exploded during a superhero battle.

David Mitchell aka Human Top was a World War 2 hero and part of the group called the Kid Commandos. David Mitchell was an African-American civilian who was kidnaped by Agent Axis and placed in a machine as A.A.'s hostage. Through a series of events the machine ended up giving Mitchell the ability to spin at superspeed.
- Fountain of Youth: He was briefly restored to his prime by Mary Morgan, (who used an unnamed Asgardian relic) during the Incursion between Earth-616 and Earth-1610.
- Heroic Lineage: His son and grandson succeeded him as a heroes and members of the V-Battalion.
- One-Steve Limit: His codename and powers are similar to David Cannon's, who once used the Human Top alias before becoming Whirlwind.
- Retired Badass: David Mitchell reappeared as a resident of Valhalla Villas, a retirement home for ex-heroes and ex-villains that is located in Miami.
- Spectacular Spinning: The Human Top possesses the ability to spin at super speeds.
- Token Black: The only African-American on the Kid Commandos.
- Two First Names: David and Mitchell.

The Blonde Phantom is a masked crime-fighter and detective. She is one of the first costumed heroines to appear during the Golden Age of Marvel Comics.
- Badass Normal: When she was a superhero. In Sensational She-Hulk, she lent a hand in saving the day from time to time.
- Domino Mask: A black one.
- Happily Married: To her husband Mark Mason.
- Her Heart Will Go On: She married Mark Mason and he passed away before her. Eventually starts a relationship with Morris Walters, Jennifer's father.
- Hero of Another Story: As the Blonde Phantom.
- I Was Quite the Looker: Louise is a bit more the homely side due to age. She is rejuvenated into a younger form later on.
- Kicking Ass in All Her Finery: Fought bad guys while wearing a pretty red dress.
- Medium Awareness: Like Jen in Sensational She-Hulk, Louise is aware that she is a character in a comic book.
- Red Is Heroic: Characterized by her nice red dresses.
- Supernaturally Young Parent: At one point, Louise was kidnapped by the Mole Man and was exposed to a mystic liquid which transformed a person into their innermost self. Ultimately, the liquid rejuvenated Louise to the physique and vitality of a forty-year-old woman, similar to her time as the Blonde Phantom.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: She was the Girly Girl to Namora's Tomboy during her time with Nick Fury's 1959 Black Ops. Initiative.

The Golden Age hero that had his debut in Marvel Comics #1 from Timely Comics. A doctor that became a costumed detective who had the "mystic cape of Mercury" that allowed him to fly.

Keene Marlow was a Golden Age hero of Marvel's predecessor Timely Comics. In the 1970's Destroyer was retconned into Brian Falsworth, heir & successor to the title Union Jack. Marlow later appeared as an aged hero who set out to kill all supervillains before dying of heart failure.
Fin

Golden age character. Peter Noble was a Navy officer who was caught in a sinking submarine and was shocked to find that the immense pressure and lack of air did not kill him. He discovered an undersea civilization called Neptunia. Beating their leader Ikor in a battle to the death, the Neptunians believed that Noble might be the reincarnation of their savior, the Fin. Noble then made a costume and became a costumed adventurer, taking up the alias of the Fin.
- Absurdly Sharp Blade: The Fin is armed with a magical cutlass, able to cut through nearly anything.
- The Ageless: The cutlass's magic prevents him from aging.

Golden Girl was a Golden Age heroine who once served as Captain America's sidekick. Prior to and during World War II, Betty Ross served as an FBI agent and later as a member of the U.S. Army's Women's Auxiliary Army Corps. During the war, she was a friend and later girlfriend to Steve Rogers, unaware of his secret identity as Captain America. After Jeffery Mace's (the third Captain America) sidekick Bucky was shot and wounded, Mace revealed his civilian identity to Ross and trained her to be his new partner, Golden Girl.
