The secret project that the protagonists are apart of and fight the FIF to protect the world.

MagiTechRangers

    Tina Gutierrez/MagiTech Red

Tina Gutierrez/MagiTech Red/MagiLatex Red/Marital Bliss

The even-headed appointed leader of the MTR team. The red-haired latina is a member of the US National Guard, though said service is postponed while she's active for Project MTR, and was chosen for her sense of duty and ability to rally others behind her. Her weapons are a pair of clawed gauntlets that can conduct magic. She currently lives together with her fiance Jaime Cruz. Regarded as the “curviest” or most “voluptuous” of the team by some admirers.
  • By The Power Of Grey Skull: “Conceptualize! MagiTech Red!”
  • Extra-ore-dinary: Her Conceptual Manifestation, called Iron Forged, not only allows her to cover herself in metal armor, but also to transmute any material she touches into it.
  • Heroic BSoD: Losing Jaime to the FIF at the end of the White Wedding arc almost completely breaks her. She spends hours riding a motorcycle through the cold winter night while chased by her teammates before stopping at the spot where they had their first date.
  • The Leader: The officially designated leader of the MagiTechRangers.
  • Ninja: Became one during her time as Wendy’s card “Martial Fighter Akai” during the Card Game Tournament arc.
  • Plant Person: In Chapter 12 she's turned into the alraune “Diantinas”.
  • Wolverine Claws: Her conceptualized weapon is a set of gauntlets with long claws attached to it.

    Chetana Bohra/MagiTech Blue

Chetana Bohra/MagiTech Blue

Dr. Bohra’s only child and the head of Project MTR’s medical division, who was brought on due to her extensive knowledge in tales and folklore. Her introverted personality and occasionally blunt mannerisms may make her come off as haughty, but through interacting with the team she's begun to come out of her shell and become more personable. She's currently completing a double major in biochem and medical biology, which alongside her medical training allow her to work as a field medic for the team. Her weapon is an estoc with a blade that can extend into a bladed whip. She’s regarded as the “second most curvy” member of the team by admirers.
  • By The Power Of Grey Skull: “Conceptualize! MagiTech Blue!”
  • Ninja: Became one during her time as Wendy’s card “Martial Fighter Aoi” during the Card Game Tournament arc.
  • Super Mode: As of writing this, she's the only member to have properly mastered the use of Daimon Trigger, a super mode which, in her case, allows her to summon various mythological creatures to fight with her or directly channel their powers.
  • Unwilling Roboticization:
    • She's turned into “Pleasure Combat Unit c-H v. Blue” when becoming Tsuya’s card during the Card Game Tournament Arc.
    • In Chapter 25 she's processed into “Kyoko-bot Vixen Blue” by Kyoko-bot Prime.
  • Whip Sword: Her conceptualized weapon is an estoc that can extend into a whip sword.

    Wendy Urashima/MagiTech Black

Wendy Urashima/MagiTech Black

Second-in-command of the Rangers and its best physical fighter. A first generation japanese-american who’s becoming a rising star in Women's MMA, she's mastered several martial arts thanks in part to her uncle she's particularly close to. She's aggressive, antagonistic towards authorities and openly speaks what's on her mind, which initially causes friction between her and Project MTR’s command, but she’s also willing to put her life on the line for anyone she considers family. To fight she can also use a bo-staff with extendable length.
  • By The Power Of Grey Skull: “Conceptualize! MagiTech Black!”
  • Cute Bruiser: During fights she goes up close and personal with opponents using her staff and martial arts.

  • Martial Arts Staff: Her conceptualized weapon is an extendable bo-staff.
  • Plant Person: During The Movie she's turned into Gold Knight’s loyal and loving dryad.
  • Playboy Bunny: Losing to Louisa Faire in Chapter 28B earns her a weekend vacation from herself as one of her bunny girl staff, though she can't remember it.
  • Telescoping Staff: Her bo-staff is extendable.

    Patricia “GalTremendous98” Jefferson/MagiTech Yellow/Spirited Lapin

Patricia “GalTremendous98” Jefferson/MagiTech Yellow/Spirited Lapin

The top female gaming streamer in the world and a regular semi-finalist in EVO tournaments. A cheerful and energetic blonde from an american middle-class background, who has made a living off of her streams and endorsements. Due to her personality, evaluative skills and ability to read people she was chosen for Project MTR. Because she put a lot of work and effort into creating a career and community around her charisma and skills, she has a distaste for any kind of people who only go through life thanks to their looks. Her weapon is a light warhammer.

Spirited Lapin is Patricia’s fae-self, born out of her repressed desire to rely on her beauty and have it be admired. Her appearance is of a sexier Patricia in a light blue bunny girl outfit. She uses any chance she can get to manifest and while technically a neutral party, being a bunny makes her susceptible to foxwoman Kyoko’s control.
  • An Ice Person: As a winter fae, Spirited Lapin has some ice powers, which Patty herself can channel by using her Delusion Trigger.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Spirited Lapin is aware she's in a story and occasionally addresses the readers directly.

    Katherine Robertson/MagiTech Green

Katherine “Katie/Kate” Robertson/MagiTech Green/Ifreeza

A member of the MagiTech Rangers who also doubles as a data analyst for Project MTR. She has long brown hair, a body type that's slightly above average in attractiveness and wears glasses. With her calculating talents she was scouted by Project MTR out of college. As the team’s strategist she tends to stay back during fights to analyze the situation with her visor and provide cover fire with the semi-automatic rifle she can summon. Often has to act as the straight man to the eccentric antics of her team.
  • By The Power Of Grey Skull: “Conceptualize! MagiTech Green!”

Daughter and acting assistant of Lockheed Martin’s current Chief Financial Officer, as well as the company’s personal Ranger as MagiTech Gold. Usually appears in proper formal attire with a black dress suit and skirt and her long, copper-blond hair in a french braid. An intelligent and driven woman, who due to her upbringing has some elitist tendencies and only supports that have proven themselves in her eyes. As the first volunteer to MagiTech and willpower experimentation she was the first to master Conceptual Manifestation, in her case GoldFire, a golden flame she can channel through her sword and that directly counteracts the fae’s magic. She's also a massive movie buff.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Her first appearance is in Chapter 12, where she uses her fire to save the Rangers from Mother Naturia.
  • By The Power Of Grey Skull: “Conceptualize! MagiTech Gold!”
  • Fire Purifies: Her GoldFire is specifically meant to combat fae magic and can often immediately free fae-touched from their control.
  • Gold-Colored Superiority: The gold-colored Ranger, who because of her upbringing initially saw the other Rangers as inferior and unworthy of her direct support. Thankfully she quickly came around.
  • Mad Scientist's Beautiful Daughter: Like all Rangers she's quite the looker and starting with Chapter 23 she's the daughter of fae drow mad scientist B. Lovelace, after her mother became her.
  • Magic Fire: Her GoldFire is a special flame combining the concepts of gold and fire to be effective in disrupting fae magic.
  • Oddly Shaped Sword: Her conceptualized weapon is a sword with a flame-shaped blade.

  • Technicolor Fire: Why yes, her GoldFire is, in fact, gold-colored fire.
  • Unabashed B-Movie Fan: Not to the same level as Katherine, as she generally prefers movies from the 80s and 90s, but she still has a great appreciation for them.

    Lily Gaultier/MagiTech Cyan

Lily Gaultier/MagiTech Cyan

A student of Cold Iron University, double majoring in English and French. She's a young woman with blonde hair usually in a french braid and gray eyes. As a massive fan of the MagiTech Rangers she's eagerly following all their exploits, though she can't help but also have arousing thoughts and fantasies about the fae and the ways they transform and brainwash others. Due to her high compatibility she's eventually recruited and trained by Project MTR to become the newest Ranger, MagiTech Cyan, who fights by manifesting a mirror that can copy any weapons and objects in its vicinity.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Her first mobilization is to rescue the other Rangers from the fae Debonet in Chapter 28.
  • By The Power Of Grey Skull: “Conceptualize! MagiTech Cyan!”
  • Dynamic Entry: Her first mission has her enter the battlefield by driving a RIDR into the line of fire to block a devastating attack meant for the team.
  • Morph Weapon: Her conceptualized weapon, a mirror, can morph into other objects and weapons and even combined forms Lily thinks of.

Project MTR Staff

    Dr. Himani Bohra

Himani Bohra

The project head of Project MTR and mother of Chetana. A middle-aged indian woman who’s considered attractive for her age and usually covers most of her skin in business attire. Stern and even-handed, she keeps everyone at arm’s length, making her come off as cold and aloof. She's credited with the discovery of MagiTech, but still hides most of its secrets close to her chest and on a need-to-know basis. As operations leader and administrator she orders the team over communications during missions.
  • Conspicuous Gloves: She's always seen wearing gloves by everyone.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: She genuinely cares about her daughter Chetana, who's the only person whom she shows her softer and kinder side.
  • Plant Person: During the climactic battle of “Movie: Spring’s Verdant Stasis” she's turned into one of Hana’s loyal dryads.
  • The Spock: Often appearing cool and calculating, she prioritizes the victory of humanity against the fae.

    Dr. Beatrice Evans

Beatrice Evans/B. Lovelace

The current Chief Financial Officer of defense and communications technology company Lockheed Martin and the mother of Martha. A stern and intelligent woman with short, sandy-blonde hair. She's an old acquaintance of Dr. Bohra, who saw her as a rival before quickly realizing how outclassed she was and decided to join her in her MagiTech project. Due to her familiarity with the technology and official position as liaison between her company Project MTR she quickly manages to enter the close circle of the woman she both fears and respects. She's very proud of the accomplishments of her daughter Martha and cares deeply for her success.
  • Face–Heel Turn: In Chapter 23 she’s turned into the fae drow B. Lovelace by Kyoko and Tethas and from this point becomes one of the most dangerous assets of the FIF, while spying on the Rangers in disguise as Beatrice.
  • Mad Scientist: B.Lovelace fully leans into this trope, as you might expect from a scientist allied with the FIF.
  • Robot Master: Lovelace’s specialty is definitely in mechanics with the various mechanical devices she creates for the fae and her pet project, the Kyoko-bots.
  • Unknown Rival: After meeting Bohra for the first time she considered herself her rival for a short while before realizing how outclassed she was and giving up on it. Becoming B. Lovelace reignited this rivalry at least on her end, though Bohra’s thoughts on that are unknown.
  • Walking Spoiler: It’s hard to talk about something meaningful regarding Beatrice without mentioning her transformation into B. Lovelace.

    Tim Simmons

Tim Simmons

An analyst working at Project MTR. A short and somewhat overweight man with balding red hair and a full beard, whose appearance is often likened to a leprechaun. He’s known among the staff for his often cartoonishly exaggerated reactions to the weird events caused by the fae, but despite that also as one of the most efficient workers in his position. Many are surprised to learn he lives with a girlfriend that shares many of his nerd hobbies.
  • Straight Man: With his overexaggerated reactions he's often cast in this role when faced with the fae’s sometimes wacky methods.

Fae

Fae Invasion Forces/FIF

The main antagonists of MagiTechRangers. A group of fae who banded together the shared goal of ending the age of humans, logic and technology.

    Kyoko

Kyoko

One of the generals of the FIF. A completely white ice kitsune fae clad in a kimono hailing from the winter court. Fitting to her species, she's a masterful trickster and schemer with most of the FIF’s most dangerous plans and tactics originating from her mind, to the point most members seem more loyal to her than to the actual leader.
  • An Ice Person: As a winter fae her domain is over ice and snow, obviously with all the related powers.
  • Blue Means Cold: White and light blues are her main colors.
  • The Chessmaster: She's a master manipulator who’s equally using the heroes and the villains as part of her plans of global domination.
  • Chessmaster Sidekick: Almost all of the plans and schemes employed by the FIF are coming directly from her. Including the one that ultimately led to her taking over as its leader.
  • Cunning Like a Fox: This kitsune is the sharpest mind among the members of the FIF.
  • Demonic Possession: Early on she manages to trick Beverly Holmes into making a pact with, allowing Kyoko to take over the woman's body and use it as a vessel whenever she pleases.
  • The Dragon: One of the three generals of the FIF under Prince Tethas, she quickly manages to rise up to become his unofficial right hand fae.
  • Dragon Ascendant: During the climax of the White Wedding Arc she helps the Rangers in beating Prince Tethas for good, only to steal his position as the leader of the FIF for herself and cement herself as the true Big Bad of the story.
  • Dragon-in-Chief: Up until the White Wedding arc she's only a general of the FIF under Prince Tethas, but clearly the more prominent one in its actions. She's the one constantly antagonizing the Rangers with long and short term plans to take over the planet.
  • Enemy Mine: Kyoko is not above teaming up with the Rangers, if they have to face a common foe:
    • In “Movie: Spring’s Verdant Stasis” she requests the help of the Rangers to beat Hana and her Spring Court.
    • In Chapter 31 she offers her help in the fight with Prince Tethas, obviously in service of her own interests.
  • The Fair Folk: She's a fae of the Winter Court.
  • Fantastic Foxes: As a kitsune fae she embodies all of their most famous traits, particularly intelligence and trickery.
  • Foul Fox: A kitsune and one of the main villains of the story.
  • Foxy Vixen: There's no denying, this winter kitsune is extremely sexy.
  • The Heavy: By far the most prominent of the FIF’s generals and the one to most prominently drive the plot forward with her various schemes. Even most of Fareeha’s and SK’s attacks are usually orchestrated by her at least to some extent.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: The winter kitsune has cold, blue eyes.
  • Long Game: Her plan requires the conflict with the Rangers to be dragged out as long as possible to help them gain massive popularity. That way the shock felt around the world when they ultimately fail will make conquering it much easier.
  • The Man in Front of the Man: The climax of the White Wedding arc truly shows how at that point Kyoko had already completely taken over the FIF right under Tethas nose, as she asserts herself as the true Big Bad by helping in disposing of him.
  • The Mirror Shows Your True Self: Oftentimes, especially when directly controlling Beverly, mirrors will show Kyoko’s image instead of Beverly’s.
  • Signature Laugh: "Fufufufu~"
  • The Starscream: While not immediately obvious, just as she’d planned to take out the Rangers, so did her plans to also dispose of Prince Tethas and take over as the leader of the FIF, which she finally acts on during the White Wedding arc and officially takes over.
  • The Strategist: The most cunning mind among the fae of the FIF, who’s personally responsible for most of their plans, particularly the long term ones.
  • Yuki Onna: Kyoko unites elements of both kitsune and yuki-onna inside of her. From the later she most notably got her cold appearance and ice powers.

    Silver Knight

Silver Knight

A winter dragon knight fae, who's absolutely loyal to Kyoko. Usually presenting as a ten-feet tall giant covered entirely in armor, her real form is of an only slightly smaller buxom, blonde beauty. She lives for fights and competition, but though she is honor-bound to follow the rules of any challenge she participates in, she is not above subverting those in her favor at every opportunity. She prefers to turn her victims into busty bimbo armcandy.
  • An Ice Person: As a winter fae she of course comes with all kinds of standard ice powers.
  • Armored Dragons: In battle she uses either a hulking full-body armor or in her real appearance rather skimpy bikini armor.
  • Blood Knight: Her main characteristic is her love for fighting and competition.
  • Crossdresser: Early on she mostly wears a large armor that hides her body to present as male.
  • Draconic Humanoid: Her real appearance is mostly human with draconic limbs, tail, wings and horns.
  • The Dragon: Has this role to Kyoko especially after she takes over the FIF.
  • Dragon Knight: She specifically is a dragon knight fae, uniting in herself myths of both dragons and the knights that fought them
  • Enemy Mine: There are instances where sh teamed up with the Rangers to face a common foe:
    • In “Movie: Spring’s Verdant Stasis” her, Kyoko and B. Lovelace team up with the Rangers to stop Hana and Gold Knight from the Spring Court.
    • In Chapter 31 she teams up with the Rangers in the fight against Prince Tethas on Kyoko’s orders.
  • The Fair Folk: She's a winter-themed dragon knight fae.
  • Gender-Blender Name: Try to guess a gender from the name Silver Knight.
  • Gender-Concealing Writing: The author intentionally uses he/him pronouns when she is using her armor to hide her real gender for the first 20 chapters.
  • Gender Reveal: In Chapter 20 is SK’s actual gender revealed to everyone by her removing her armor to join in a party video game.
  • The Heavy: Is one to Kyoko, as her most loyal servant and enforcer.
  • Late-Arrival Spoiler: The reveal of her actual gender is treated so casually by the author and the readers, the former had no issue with it not being hidden on this wiki. All existing art of Silver Knight also only shows her real appearance.
  • Samus Is a Girl: Silver Knight is initially introduced as a giant in magical space armor, the narration even using he/him pronouns. Not until Chapter 20 do we get the proper reveal of what is hiding beneath the armor.
  • Signature Laugh: "GAOOOHOHOHOHO!"
  • Sweet Polly Oliver: On Kyoko’s orders she wears a bulky armor around the FIF base to hide her real gender from Prince Tethas.
  • Our Dragons Are Different: As a dragon fae she derives powers based on many various legends and myths about dragons, though mainly western ones and with an ice-themed twist.

    B. Lovelace Spoiler Character

B. Lovelace

After being abducted by the fae and tortured by Prince Tethas and Kyoko, Beatrice Evans was turned by them into the shrewd fae drow scientist B. Lovelace. A cold and calculating individual, who works both as a sleeper for the FIF she's now loyal to and as a supplier of various mechanical gadgets she invents. The loss of human morals allowed her to unlock her full scientific potential and made her realize what she always truly had been after.
See Beatrice Evan’s entry for more information.

Cold Iron

Citizens of Cold Iron.

    Beverly Holmes

Beverly Holmes

The head of public relations of the online streaming and broadcasting company RBS. An attractive blonde woman whose drive and dedication led her to put her private life on hold, while she pursued her career. Her charm and many professional connections are what led her to be chosen as a vessel by Kyoko, through which she channels herself whenever she wants while she waits for the line between their personalities to blur.
  • Alternate Identity Amnesia: She's unable to recall anything that happens every time Kyoko takes her over.
  • Demonic Possession: She has been chosen as Kyoko’s vessel and is unknowingly under the kitsune’s full control. This extends to Kyoko being able to fully take her place whenever she wants.
