Matzo Fever is a trope that is supposed to be about non-Jewish characters expressing attraction towards Jewish characters precisely because they're Jewish.

After doing a wick check of 50 wicks this was what I found of the most notable examples:

• Correct Usage: 4/50 (8%)
• ZCEs: 30%
• Direct Misuse:
  • "Jewish Character is Considered Attractive In-Universe": 12/50 (24%)
  • "Non-Jewish character's Love Interest Happens to be Jewish": 9/50 (18%)
  • "Jewish Character Attracted to Other Jews": 5/50 (10%)

As can be seen, a good number of examples have the issue where if they aren't just straight ZCEs, they just fall under "Jewish Love Interest" or "attractive woman who happens to be Jewish", which is simply chairs, rather than Gentile characters being attracted to a Jewish person because they're Jewish.

Apart from cleaning the Zero Context Examples and misuse, I think the trope could also use a new name to better reflect what it's supposed to be used for, which should cut down on misuse.

Potential Renames: Jew Fetishizer, Gentile Jew-Chaser.

• Creator.John Mulaney: In his act, he states that he likes to date Jewish women because they say exactly what's on their mind and encourage him to stand up for himself. True enough, he married a Jewish woman in the Catskills Mountains.
• Creator.Robert Crumb: Frequently references his love of Jewish women in his comics.

• Characters.American Hustle: Commented out.
• Characters.Book Of Genesis: He unwittingly infected Potiphar's wife with this.
• Characters.El Club De Hopewell: The reaction she often provokes on several characters (including a female teacher and Jake's father)

• Fanfic.The Many Dates Of Danny Fenton: In Danny and Kitty, Danny chose Kitty Pryde, a cute, Jewish mutant as his perfect match and in his canon series, had UST with his friend Sam Manson, who is also of Jewish faith.
• Film.A Stranger Among Us: Leah. If she weren't Hasidic, she would have trouble keeping track of all her boyfriends. As it is, whoever the matchmaker picks for her is in luck.
• Film.An American Werewolf In London: David is quite the chick magnet, even when unconscious. (Doubles as ZCE)

• Characters.DCEU The Flash: The DCEU version of the Flash is canonically Jewish and is in love with the African-American Iris West.
• Characters.Das Boot 2018: His girlfriend is Jewish.
• Characters.Mash Main Cast: In "The Bus" he describes having a sort-of romance with a Jewish classmate.
• Characters.Requiem Vampire Knight: Jewish and very beautiful. Still, its another dark variant since she had a Destructive Romance with with a Nazi and she keeps attracting the wrong sort of attraction such as one depraved Lesbian Vampire and Count Dracula himself.
• Characters.Saturday Night Live: Mary Katherine has a crush on a Jewish basketball player from a rival school.
• Characters.Seventh Heaven: As stated above, he marries his girlfriend Sarah Glass, who is the only daughter of a doting Rabbi. (Doubles as ZCE)

• ComicBook.Captain America: In the 1980s, Steve Rogers was engaged to Bernie Rosenthal (whose parents would have preferred her looking for a Nice Jewish Boy, like her ex-husband).
• Fanfic.FMARPGAU: In this AU, Winry is Jewish, and like in canon, Ed is very much attracted to her.

• Characters.Band Of Brothers: Dreams of marrying a Jewish girl with "big titties and a smile to die for".
• Characters.Glee New Directions Later Additions: The reason he dates Rachel. (Doubles as a ZCE)
• Characters.Glee Other Minor Characters: A Jew, he is obsessed with the only other (confirmed) Jewish girl in the cast.

• Creator.James Joyce: Joyce (and Stephen Dedalus, Bloom and HCE by extension) had a bit of a fascination with the "Oriental mystique" of Jewish women. (Without mentioning Joyce it would be a straight example)

• Mad Men Other Characters: Lampshaded. Particularly in the first season, Mad Men acted like Jews were a distant and exotic tribe to the main cast of the show, who, while mostly conservative WASPs, were after all New Yorkers in the advertising business and probably wouldn't have been that befuddled and bedazzled by them. When SC does business with Israel's ministry of tourism, Don arranges lunch with Rachel to pick her brain, and she asks if she's the only Jew he knows in New York. (She is.)
