Character Sheet for El Club de Hopewell.
Allyson Martin
Our main character; a normal girl with two big contradictory personality traits: cynical (she usually perceives life in a very negative, jaded way), yet romantic (a daydreamer that fantasies about what the future may bring). She's a really smart and studious girl who however is mostly under big stress most of the time, in part because of the kind of friends she have, in part because of her own neurotic way of seeing life.- All Girls Want Bad Boys: Jake's her main love interest after all
- Author Avatar
- Bratty Teenage Daughter: While she's considered the most mature character out of the main three, she can be very bratty on her worst.
- Catchphrase: "The point IS..." whenever she tries to explain something and she's interrupted.
- Character Development: While still a neurotic mess, she learns to be a little more assertive and self-confident.
- Covert Pervert
- Deadpan Snarker
- Distressed Damsel: Discuted and a big root of her insecurities: She sees Jake as strong and badass and Sarah as a cool trickster that can get away with anything while she consider herself a lot worse in both aspects, making her the one who would need rescue every once in a while.
- Embarrassing Middle Name: Sigrid
- Emo Teen
- Feminine Women Can Cook: Of all things, Allyson's turned out to be quite a more than decent cooker. And it's actually the one of the only thing she does better than her sister. She's somewhat embarrased by that, though, since she seems to think it clashes with her feminist ideals.
- Fiery Redhead: Inverted early in the series, when she used to be shy and silent.
- The Klutz
- Only Sane Woman
-
Neutral Good: She gets involved in the things she does mostly because of her two friends; she, by herself, is mostly a good gal.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: She is actually a good looking young lady, however she's just too lazy most of the time to really put too much attention to her looks.
- Soapbox Sadie: A couple of times: Mostly about gender issues.
- Straw Feminist: From time to time
- Team Mom
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Tomboy to Sarah's girly girl.
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: She likes rock and indie music over pop or other "softer" genres, and usually complains when she has to wear "girly clothing" (skirts, dresses, etc...), but it turns out she's a big Disney fangirl, decent in cooking (at least it's implied by her friends) and she has a very romantic side.
- The Unfavorite: The way she thinks of herself.
Jake Zabrocki
A young criminal. He met Allyson when both attended to kindergarden. Problematic and proud, Jake's the kind of person never wastes any opportunity to obtain some personal gain.

- Alpha Bitch: Not exactly a completely straight example, but she shows shades of this.
- Character Development: She got tired of being seen as the "High School Princess" in Hopewell and while she was (and still is in college) popular with boys, she's a disaster for relationships because she doesn't really how to deal with anyone outside a superficial level. Eventually she changes career and tries to find herself and take control of her own life for once instead of being the cute good looking girl that seems too perfect to be true
- The Ace / Broken Ace
- The Cheerleader: Used to be one in Hopewell High
- Cool Big Sis: The way she thinks of herself.
- The Fashionista
- Hidden Depths
- Parody Sue: She's extremely beautiful and was a really popular girl in High School AND was actually a pretty good student (her grades being always better than Allyson's); Allye likes to characterize her sister as a Brainless Beauty, but even she knows it's far from the truth.
