Kayleigh Smyth, better known as Wolfychu, born March 20, 1995 in London, England, is an English-born Irish animator and Virtual YouTuber currently based in Australia. She makes storytime animations, with some of them getting dubs (including Russian and Spanish ones), and animation memes, with some of them featuring her boyfriend Jordan (aka SweetoTOONS).

She currently streams games on YouTube and Twitch.

Wolfychu provides examples of:

  • Animal Lover: She has an enthusiasm for animals, especially cats and dogs.
  • Animesque: Her art style.
  • April Fools' Day: A "Freaky Friday" Flip video with Tabbes.
  • Art Evolution: Her drawing style changed a lot since her first videos.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: While Wolfy is usually very sweet and optimistic, her Yandere Simulator song animatics showcase a different side.
  • The Cameo: Wolfy makes a lot of them, including many characters from other YouTuber animators in her videos, especially Luni.
  • Cat Girl: She used to believe she was one when she was a kid. She actually ended up becoming a wolf-girl instead.
  • Cheery Pink: She's very sweet and cheerful, is often associated with the color pink (as most of her videos and thumbnails have pink backgrounds), and her avatar often wears pink clothing.
  • Closet Geek: She's a huge fan of anime and video games (especially Pokemon), showcasing her love for these interests in her videos and content.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Due to her unique and sometimes eccentric personality traits, combined with her friendly demeanor, she may display peculiar or unconventional behavior that adds to her overall charm.
  • Corrupt the Cutie: Several of her video and streaming collaborators have tried, including members of VShojo, but with little success so far.
  • Cuddle Bug: Though she prefers to say she's "clingy".
  • Curtains Match the Window: Wolfy sports, in her animations and virtual avatar, sky-blue hair and eyes.
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: So much that Jordan says she's "like a real-life anime girl".
  • The Cutie: If the rest of this page didn't tip you off, she is very much this.
  • Dandere: While she's shy and introverted, she can open up and reveal a more passionate side under certain circumstances.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: She didn't know what to do after high school and tried many things, including teaching. Then she found her true calling in art.
  • Determinator: She has a very healthy amount of willpower to confront her fears. Her determination allowed her to move to Australia to live with her boyfriend.
  • The Ditz: She occasionally exhibits moments of absent-mindedness or naivety, contributing to her overall adorkable and lovable nature.
  • Dream Weaver: She had a lucid dream once and really liked it so she tried lucid dreaming. She has a few dreams to share from her diary... featuring TheOdd1sOut!
  • The Empath: She demonstrates empathy and understanding towards the feelings and experiences of others.
  • Endearingly Dorky: Her cuteness and especially her voice had caused her several problems, which she talks about in "Living with My Voice".
  • Extreme Doormat: Her non-confrontational attitude led her to be bullied by the rest of the staff at a waitress job, as the others would slack off while she tried to work hard (but couldn't because she was waiting for a formation and equipment to take orders from customers). The problem grew to the point where she basically was the only one working.
  • Fish out of Water: When Wolfy and her family moved to Spain, she had to adapt to a new environment and culture. This trope reflects her experiences of adjusting to a new country and school.
  • Friend to All Children: When she tried teaching by being a teacher's assistant, she "wasn't taken seriously" because she looked too young, had a higher voice than most of the kids, and was around the same height as them. But she made a lot of friends among them!
  • Friend to All Living Things: She has a kind-hearted nature and is passionate about animals.
  • Genki Girl: She exudes enthusiasm and often brings a lively and energetic vibe to her videos.
  • Happily Ever After: Wolfy could've been really sad if she didn't find her love, but now she's happy.
  • The Heart: Wolfy's warm and compassionate nature makes her the emotional center and heart of her online presence.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: She absolutely adores dogs, and has since an early age. She wanted one of her own for a long time before she and Jordan adopted Mochi.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Due to her friendly and positive nature, Wolfy may unintentionally say or do things that could be perceived as insensitive to others.
  • Kawaiiko: She seems to be this, given her cute, high-pitched voice, her adorable art style, and the cheerful tone of her videos.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Wolfy is depicted as a wolf-girl among regular-looking humans. Other characters in her animations exhibit this as well.
  • Mean Boss: In "My Abusive Work Story", Wolfy worked as a waitress in a restaurant with two managers. One of the managers inverts this, as she was very nice, but she was never there for most of the time Wolfy worked there, which meant that Wolfy wasn't able to get training (she tried calling her, but she either never answered or said that she was busy and couldn't come). The other manager, however, completely plays this straight - she refused to train Wolfy and told her to wait for the other manager to come back (which she never did), and yet she got mad at her when she screwed up and expected her to learn how to do things on her own despite never being trained to do it. When one of her co-workers yelled at her for being slow, the manager was not sympathetic in the slightest and told her to do some work in the back, likely because the incident and Wolfy crying would've made the restaurant look bad. Thankfully, she ended up quitting that horrible job.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Luna from Wolfychu's animations is a busty Foxy Vixen whose debut has her in a bikini, and most of her appearances have a lot of Male Gaze and revealing clothing.
  • Nice Girl: She is known for her positive interactions with others and her willingness to help and support those around her.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Despite the struggles and challenges that she's faced, Wolfy maintains a positive attitude.
  • Plucky Girl: Although she's faced plenty of difficulties in her life, she manages to be a sweet and cheerful woman regardless. She faces challenges with a can-do attitude and demonstrates a strong sense of drive and ambition.
  • The Pollyanna: She is very optimistic and sees the good in everything.
  • Precious Puppy: Her and Jordan's dog, Mochi, is an adorable little fluffball.
  • Prone to Tears: Wolfy is very emotional and tends to shed a few tears whenever she's sad, scared, or happy, which is quite often.
  • The Quiet One: She was described as a quiet kid during her early years, indicating a reserved and introverted nature.
  • Sarcasm Mode: Quite possibly the only time she used sarcasm was when talking about her old friend in "Exactly How Gullible Am I?", ending the video on a Snarking Thanks for the sleeping difficulty her friend's stories caused her.
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: invoked She says in "I Can't Do A Face Reveal" that her shyness is actually getting worse with time, though every bit of encouragement counts towards her self-confidence. She eventually did grow confident enough to do a proper face reveal video.
  • Squee: Sometimes does this when she's very happy or excited about something.
  • Super Gullible: Admits to being a very gullible person, especially when she was younger. Her friends used to take full advantage of it, too.
  • Sweet Tooth: So much that on her first date with Jordan, he invited her to a chocolate restaurant.
  • Take This Job and Shove It: Discussed in the "My Abusive Work Story" video. Wolfy said that she would've liked to quit her terrible job in an over-the-top fashion, but she's an Extreme Doormat and, at the time, there were no other job openings. She ended up staying there until the toxic work environment got to be too much, and all she did was send in a letter of resignation and leave.
  • Tears of Joy: She's prone to shedding these quite frequently.
  • The Tease: Wolfy makes very teasing thumbnails from time to time, like the Panty Shot in "Why I Quit Teaching".
  • Took a Level in Badass: In the second animatic of her zombie series, Jordan steps in to rescue Wolfy from a zombie. By the third and final part, she's able to go through a horde to retrieve a map and come out unscathed.
  • Twice Shy: Defied! When Wolfy and Jordan met in person for the first time, she thought they were going to be shy around each other but they got comfortable very fast, holding hands and sharing a lot of hugs.
  • The Unchosen One: In high school, Wolfy felt isolated when her two best friends started hanging out with other girls and she struggled to make new friends. This trope represents her period of feeling left out and alone.
  • Unfazed Everyman: Despite facing criticism and controversy, Wolfy maintains a positive and composed demeanor.
  • Vocal Dissonance: Despite being in her 20s, she has a very high-pitched, childlike voices. She mentioned in some videos that her voice is naturally high, but it is theorized that Wolfy edits her voice so it sounds high, although she has since done many live streams and collaborations which proves that it is indeed her real voice.
  • Virtual YouTuber: She generally prefers to use her wolf-girl avatar in videos and has since become a VTuber with an animated avatar with face-tracking software.
  • What the Hell Is That Accent?: Her accent is a bit hard to pin down. This can be attributed to being an Irish girl born in the UK who moved to Spain at an early age, before finally moving to Australia as an adult.
  • Yandere: Although Wolfy is generally known for her positive and friendly personality, she has a yandere personality specifically showcased in her Yandere Simulator song animatics.
