Brotherhood of Mutants
Quicksilver
Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff)

Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, is Magneto's son and has always been desperate to win his father's approval. He is crushed when instead it's given to his sister Wanda (The Scarlet Witch.) As such, he resents her, though she tries to help him improve his relationship with Magneto. Quicksilver is the de facto leader of the Brotherhood. He possesses the mutant ability to run at superhuman speeds over great distances. With speeds of over 175 mph, he is also able to create a whirlwind by running in a circle.
- Adaptational Villainy: Much like in Ultimate X Men and X-Men: Evolution, this Quicksilver is a willing servant of Magneto, even after Scarlet Witch and Polaris decided they're done with Erik's crap.
- Deadpan Snarker: He has a sharp wit to go with his speed.
- The Dragon: In addition to being the leader of the Brotherhood, he (along with Scarlet Witch and to a lesser extent Polaris) serves the role as this to Magneto.
- Hidden Depths: As Adaptational Villainy shows, when Magneto is banished from Genosha, Quicksilver decides to stick with the patriarch of his family, showing the family loyalty his sisters rejected.
- Hot-Blooded: His temper is as quick as everything else about him.
- Jerkass: Quicksilver is an arrogant, self-centered jerk.
- The Leader: Of the Brotherhood of Mutants. However, Magneto had secretly orchestrated the actions of the group by giving orders to Quicksilver, but he was not officially part of the group.
- Lightning Bruiser: Of the "hard-hitting speedster" variety. His enhanced physiology makes him far more durable than he appears, and he can very easily beat someone half to death before they can even react.
- Mutant: Just like in the comics and most versions, he is one that is capable of moving at superhuman speeds.
- Mystical White Hair: Subverted. Although he is a mutant with powers, his white hair is simply inherited from his father Magneto.
- Not Even Bothering with the Accent: Quicksilver lacks his comic book counterpart's Eastern European accent due to the fact that he was actually raised by Magneto in this series.
- Super-Speed: His main mutant power.
- Truer to the Text: Adaptational Villainy aside, this Quicksilver is truer to his comic book counterpart compared to the Evolution version. Heck, his costume is even based on the one his comic book counterpart originally wore.
- Took a Level in Dumbass: Though much of it is Magneto's complaints, the whole near-disaster with Nitro, where he didn't stop to think that maybe bringing a mutant whose uncontrollable power is blowing up onto his dad's precious mutant haven isn't such a good idea. Especially when the best he can do to try and control said mutant's power is to have an inexperienced telepath — who even warns him she's never tried anything like this before — tinker with the mutant's brain. If the X-men hadn't intervened, Quicksilver would have been personally responsible for the deaths of half the mutants on the planet.
- Undying Loyalty: Unlike Wanda and Lorna, who throw Erik out of Genosha in the finale, Pietro stays loyal to Erik.
- The Unfavorite: And Erik doesn't even try to hide that he prefers Wanda and Lorna over Pietro.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Despite his best efforts, Quicksilver can never get Magneto to cut him any slack, or even recognize he might be useful at anything. To be fair, though, he is a complete idiot.
- White Hair, Black Heart: He has white hair and is an antagonist member of the Brotherhood of Mutants.
- Would Hit a Girl: Has no problem fighting women, even slammed Emma Frost’s face into a pillar to knock her out to emphasize that fact.
Avalanche
Avalanche (Dominikos Petrakis)

First appearance: "Hindsight, Part 2"
Originally from Greece, Dominikos Petrakis, also known as Avalanche, landed on the streets of New York at an early age and has survived for years by aligning himself with other mutant misfits. Avalanche has the mutant ability to generate vibrations from his hands that can bring down buildings and cause earthquakes.
- Beard of Evil: Unlike the clean-shaven look of the comics and other versions, this Avalanche sports a mustache and goatee.
- Boring, but Practical: Both his powers and the man himself. Much less flashy and dramatic than other X-villains featured in the series, Avalanche is pretty much the definition of a Punch-Clock Villain.
- Cool Helmet: It's not quite as cool as Magneto's or Juggernaut's, but it still counts.
- The Dragon: He serves the role as this in the Brotherhood.
- Dishing Out Dirt: His mutant power is a fairly high-end version of this.
- Elemental Powers: His mutant abilities; namely, generating earthquakes.
- Evil Foreigner: Along with Pyro, he is an evil mutant featured in this series from a non-American country, Greece in his case.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Due to his earthquake-generating powers.
- Truer to the Text: He is much more faithful to his comic book counterpart than his previous animated version was.
Blob
Blob (Fred Dukes)

First appearance: "Hindsight, Part 2"
Fred Dukes, also known as Blob, firmly believes that just by virtue of being a mutant, he has the right to be treated as a superior. In actuality he's only a part of the dysfunctional Brotherhood because they needed a heavy lifter. He has superhuman strength and durability and his huge body can absorb projectiles from bullets to artillery shells, and is impervious to injury.
- Acrofatic: He is as agile and maneuverable as any normal-sized man.
- Barrier Warrior: An unusual variant where the "barrier" is his own Nigh-Invulnerable body.
- The Brute: Serves as the Brotherhood's muscle.
- Dumb Muscle: Not the brightest, but strong enough to serve as The Brute for the Brotherhood.
- Fat Bastard: As per tradition, the Blob is overweight and a thug.
- Giant Mook: He is considerably taller than a human being and much, much fatter.
- Gravity Master: The Blob is able to alter his own personal gravitational field to root himself to a spot and become immovable while taking advantage of his incredible durability and resistance to harm.
- Implacable Man: He's unmovable.
- Kevlard: It is a wonder where he purchased his unitard from.
- Lightning Bruiser: The Blob is quite a bit faster and more agile than he looks.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Part of his "core trinity" of powers; he's extremely hard to hurt due to his extreme girth, he has Super Strength, and he can fix himself in place so he can't be moved.
- Stout Strength: He is able to lift large objects due to his size.
- Truer to the Text: This Blob is more faithful to his comic book counterpart than his film series and Evolution were in terms of his role, appearance, age, and personality.
- Villain Team-Up: He's associated with the Brotherhood.
- Villainous Glutton: As with most versions, his girth is part of his mutation.
Toad
Toad (Mortimer Toynbee)

Of all the mutant powers a person could get, Mortimer Toynbee, also known as Toad, got his from the bottom of the genetic barrel. His tongue can stretch up to 25 feet and he has the ability to leap great heights and spit a green adhesive substance from his mouth. It's no wonder he envies everyone else's powers with such pathos. But the bottom line is Toad is thrilled to be hanging with the Brotherhood, no matter what they make him do.
- Animal-Themed Superbeing: Toads, obviously.
- Butt-Monkey: The show loves to crap all over Toad, as he frequently ends up captured by the MRD and even admits at one point that the Brotherhood is better off without him in the field.
- The Chew Toy: Toad is one of the most humiliated, embarrassed and ridiculed characters on the show.
- Composite Character: He's basically 616!Toad with Ultimate X Men!Toad's appearance.
- The Load: Toad's this to the Brotherhood. He repeatedly gets captured and needs his teammates to break him out. They were actually going to let him rot in "Time Bomb" before he told them about Nitro.
- In a Single Bound: Just like his comic book counterpart and most versions, he possesses superhuman leg strength, which allows for him to be able to leap great heights.
- Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Seriously, Toad never gets a win.
- Super Spit: He often exhibits various powers related to a goo that he occasionally spits it as a weapon.
- Sycophantic Servant: As per usual, Toad is also this to the Brotherhood.
- Truer to the Text: Despite the fact that he has the physical appearance of the Ultimate version of the character, this version of Toad is still much more faithful to his comic book counterpart than the X-Men: Evolution version was via retaining his name from the comics.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Toad is this to the Brotherhood, who are shown to be weary of his presence and have attempted to leave him to rot in an MRD prison at one point.
- Undying Loyalty: Toad stands by the Brotherhood, no matter what. Even during the battle with the Sentinels, he stayed with them.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: In Time Bomb, in order to be abandoned in MRD custody by rest of the members of the Brotherhood, who are tried of always having to save him from being caught, he tells about Nitro, a powerful but unstable mutant who went to the MRD for help, to successfully do a job they have been planning then bring to Genosha, where he kills half the world’s mutants in one future. Luckily after the X-Men learn about it from the Professor they prevent that from happening.
- Wall Crawl: One of his mutant powers.
Domino
Domino (Neena Thurman)

First appearance: "Hindsight, Part 2"
Neena Thurman, also known as Domino, is a member of Magneto's Brotherhood who has precise marksmanship and luck. During Rogue's short stay with the Brotherhood, she forms a sort of bond/friendship as the only women in the Brotherhood and are usually seen together. She acts as the voice of reason on the team, contrasting to Quicksilver's impulsive leadership. She apparently has the ability to influence the laws of probability, but she mainly relies on her marksmanship and hand-to-hand abilities.
- Adaptational Villainy: While an ally of the X-Men in the comics, this Domino is a member of the Brotherhood. Basically, to match the movies, Mystique is working for Magneto, so her role in the comics is given to Domino.
- Charles Atlas Superpower: Domino has probability altering powers, but she mainly relies on her marksmanship and hand-to-hand abilities. Of course, if you've got probability altering powers, you can expect every shot to find its mark.
- Cold Sniper: Uses a specialized rifle to attack targets and all too willing to snipe down targets with sadistic glee.
- Evil Genius: Domino is one of the smartest members of the group.
- Goth: This is her fashion style. She rocks the look.
- Improbable Aiming Skills: She is very skilled at aiming and shooting at objects or people.
- Most Common Super Power: She has a very impressive bust that is highlighted by her costume.
- Mutant: She is one with the abilities of influencing the laws of probability, but she mainly relies on her marksmanship and hand-to-hand abilities.
- Team Member in the Adaptation: In keeping with her Adaptational Villainy, she's a member of the Brotherhood instead of the X-Men or its related teams.
- Token Good Teammate: To the Brotherhood. She's actually with Bishop's team in the Bad Future.
