The Main Hero and his family and friends

The Parents

    Enzo

Harry Potter/Enzo/Hal

Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived himself. Also known as "Enzo" in YGGDRASIL, and is The Hero of 200 Years, A Long Wait for Friends. He's a member of Ainz Ooal Gown and is part of the 41 Supreme Beings by the Non-Player Characters of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

  • All-Loving Hero: Downplayed. While Harry is still the Nice Guy from the books, he's got the rougher edges of Jerkass from being understandably betrayed twice in his life, never mind his new Fallen Angel body loosening his original human morality.
  • Composite Character: He has aspects of Satoru Suzuki/Momonga of the AU Overlord Bonus Volume, mainly being sent to the New World 200 years before the main storyline, meeting and bonding with Keno Fasris Invern/Evileye, and becoming an Adoptive Peer Parent.
  • Experienced Protagonist: Harry has been through the war against Death Eaters before joining Ainz Ooal Gown, and later The Demon Gods before reuniting with Momonga at New World.
  • Good Parents: He may not have many positive male role models, but he's overall a kind and caring father to his adoptive daughter, Antilene Heran Fouche. He also extends this to Arche Eeb Rile Furt and her two younger twin sisters upon adoption and to Aura and Mare.
  • Morality Chain:
  • Morality Pet: To Albedo, as she is the Reformed, but Not Tamed kind of turning good. But for Harry's sake, she'll learn how to be a good person.
  • Mr. Exposition: To certain residents of the New World, he explained to them the true nature of the YGGDRASIL Players and NPCs off-screen.
  • Nice Guy: Despite his rougher edges from justifiably being betrayed twice in his life that led him to suffer two And I Must Scream scenarios, along with his new Fallen Angel physiology loosening his morality, he's still something of the All-Loving Hero we know and love about Harry Potter.
  • Really 700 Years Old: He's already over centuries in age by the time Momonga and Nazarick came to the New World. Even before that, Harry was over 100 years old when he was uploaded to YGGDRASIL by an aged Hermione for the first and last time.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Apparently had this with Ubert in the past, due to disliking how the latter wanted Nazaric to be a "Lair of Monsters". It's heavily implied their worldviews were just too different for them not to clash.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Ever since Ginnymort betrayed him, and later the Platinum Dragon Lord and Rigrit, Harry's optimism is quite tempered.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Harry notices that his morals are loosened ever since he becomes one with his Fallen Angel avatar and is betrayed twice. Hell, while it's toward those who deserve it, Harry has no hesitation to cast Crucio, even taught Antilene how to cast it.

    Albedo

Albedo

The Overseer of the Floor Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Responsible for general management and supervision of the Floor Guardians, in addition to maintaining administrative and operational functions of the dungeon, Albedo reigns unquestioned as Momonga's second in command. A succubus tailored with Mighty Glacier specializations that was created by Tabula Smaragdina, and the sister of Nigredo and Rubedo. She originally had a superficial Proper Lady personality concealing a Machiavellian one in turn concealing a promiscuous one as a “gap moe” joke, but Momonga edited it so she would be madly in love with Enzo/Harry out of concern.

  • Changing Yourself for Love: Like the rest of Nazarick's NPCs, she has her Humans Are Insects and superiority complex. But she is willing to make herself a better person for the sake of Harry, who does care for humans and has a more heroic morality.
  • Good Stepmother: Through Albedo's mad love for Harry and after witnessing his true origins, she takes a level in kindness by proving to be a good and doting mother to their adoptive children.
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: Word of God noted that without her new backstory from Momonga, she would've reacted to the revelation of Harry's past the same way her canon self would and that she didn't become a good person immediately after, but merely realized that doing good deeds makes Harry happy, and acts accordingly.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Albedo didn't hesitate to threaten and even harm those she thinks will harm or threaten Harry. This protective streak later extended to the Furt girls after Harry adopts them.
  • Yandere: Momonga initially regrets rewriting Albedo's personality after ending up in New World because he realizes that she fits the bill for this trope and he just unleashes her to Harry. Thankfully, Harry manages to tone her down into a "high-functioning Yandere".

The Children

    Antilene Heran Fouche

Antilene Heran Fouche (Zesshi Zetsumei)

Harry's adoptive daughter and the former Extra Seat of the Black Scripture.

  • The Ace: She was regarded as the strongest individual in the Slane Theocracy and way stronger than most things in the New World save for several Level 90+ Dragon Lords. In addition, she has an incredibly rare Talent that allows her to Power Copy the unique skills of those whose equipment she wears, even skills that would otherwise not be available to her class. Even the Level 100 Nazarick NPCs that she spars with and loses against, can't help but be impressed by Antilene's pure fighting skill and innate power despite being twelve levels stronger than her.
  • Almighty Janitor: She was the strongest in the Slane Theocracy (and one of the strongest beings in the New World), but doesn't even lead her own scripture.
  • Always a Bigger Fish: On the receiving and giving ends. When it comes to the Level 100 Nazarick NPCs, the difference of twelve levels might not seem that big a gap on paper, but stats-wise, a level 88 New World native vs a level 100 Nazarick NPC is only slightly less one-sided than the even weaker beings Nazarick stomps into the dirt regularly. To the Nazarick NPCs like the Pleiades Six Stars (all of them being under Level 65), Antilene is stronger than them individually on pure skill and innate power alone, and it's mentioned that she would also be able to defeat them as a team with some effort.
  • Ambiguous Situation: While she had sparred and defeated all of the Pleiades (barring Sebas Tian) off-screen by chapter 11, it's unknown if that includes Aureole Omega, who is the leader of the "Pleiades Seven Sisters" and powerful enough to be entrusted with guarding the protection of the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown when it is not in the possession of Momonga. Not helping that there's little known info about Aureole besides her Level being 100, specialization in the commander-type job class (i.e. supporting others through Status Buff), being a Wild Card, and an all-rounder according to canon!Ainz, and if she were to have fought Antilene seriously (though not enough to be a life-and-death battle as per rules of the spar).
  • Ascended Extra: She gets plenty of the spotlight in the fic compared to her canon counterpart.
  • Blood Knight: While Antilene is much kinder in the fic, her thirst for a good fight still runs strong, and is eager to fight someone who can match and/or defeat her.
  • Bratty Teenage Daughter: In the present time, Antilene acts much more carefree and mischievous thanks to Harry's upbringing.
  • Crossover Power Acquisition: In-Universe as the Potterverse and the Crapsack World of 2138 exist simultaneously. While Antilene has all the power and stats of a YGGDRASIL player, like all residents of the New World after the "Six Gods" came to their world, she also learns and can cast spells/charms of the Wizarding World from Harry.
  • Cuteness Proximity: When seeing Aura, Mare, and Shalltear for the first time, Antilene gushes over how adorable they truly looked, much to their bewilderment and later shock upon hearing her wanting to meet Shizu and Entoma, and mentions their names. In the past, one of the things that Antilene wanted to know about Nazarick from Harry was how cute some of the members were.
  • Defector from Decadence: She escaped the Slane Theocracy with Harry after breaking him free of the Rubix Cube years before Nazarick's arrival to the New World.
  • Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes: She still has these eyes by default despite taking many levels of cheerfulness after being adopted by Harry, to show exactly how bored and/or carefree she is all the time.
  • Former Bigot: She grew up in the Slane Theocracy and was once a Boomerang Bigot who hates all non-humans, including herself. Harry's kinder and loving upbringing fully shook it off by the start of the fic.
  • Graceful Loser: Unlike her canon counterpart, she takes getting her ass handed to her by the Level 100 Nazarick NPCs (Aura, Mare, Albedo, Sebas, and Cocytus) very well, mainly because she already got accustomed by her adoptive father's overwhelming power and taught about the positive side of growing from loss.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Like her canon counterpart, Antilene's a half-elf as her mother is human and her father is the Elf King. She was initially ashamed of her elven heritage; considering the circumstances of her birth and the kind of person her father is, it's hard not to be. However, Harry's loving and kinder upbringing slowly allowed Antilene to embrace her elf heritage.
  • Happily Adopted: Harry adopts Antilene out of the Slane Theocracy, and she certainly sees him as an improvement over her mother, now that she realizes that his love for her is warmer than what her mother ever gave her. She even tells Decem during their fateful battle in chapter 33 that Harry IS her father, not the elf king.
  • Hide Your Otherness: Overlapping with Hiding Your Heritage. While played straight in the past regarding her Pointy Ears, it's very much averted in the present time thanks to Harry.
  • Like Father, Unlike Son: Besides sharing Decem's Darwinist Desire (though with her being the one beaten) and verbally expressing "impossible" if encountering a supreme foe who could counter their attacks, Antilene still couldn't be more different from her birthfather, especially when Harry came along.
  • Magic Knight: She is primarily a melee fighter, but she has a few levels in Cleric and a lesser version of the Valkyrie class. Her talent and her weapon also allow her to use the skills of Surshana, a long-defunct player who was powerful enough to be deemed a "God of Death", and her scythe provides her with a selection of spells. And that's not getting into the fact that she's also capable of casting spells/charms of the Wizarding World, taught by Harry.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: By chapter 11, Antilene had already sparred with the likes of Aura, Mare, Sebas Tian, Albedo, The Pleiades (possibly barring Aureole Omega), and Cocytus during her time in Nazarick, losing to all but the "Pleiades Six Stars" (Yuri Alpha, Lupusregina Beta, Narberal Gamma, CZ2128 Delta/Shizu, Solution Epsilon, and Entoma Vasilissa Zeta).
  • One-Woman Army: She's Level 88, which makes her way stronger than almost anything in the New World save for several Dragon Lords.
  • Playful Cat Smile: She usually has a smile that resembles a feline to showcase her more lax behavior.
  • Pointy Ears: She has these as part of her half-elf heritage, and unlike her canon counterpart, she's no longer ashamed of them.
  • Power Copying: Her innate Talent allows her to copy the unique skills of those whose equipment she wears, even skills that would otherwise not be available to her class.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She looks like a young woman in her mid-teens, but she is actually over a century old.
  • Sinister Scythe: Her weapon, "Charon's Guidance", is a monstrous scythe with two blades and a spearhead, shaped like a cross. Originally belonging to Surshana, a YGGDRASIL player specializing in death magic, it allows her to use some of his own skills through her talent, on top of being imbued with multiple spells.
  • Smug Super: It's subtle but there. She can pretty much trash almost anything in the New World barring the Level 90+ Dragon Lords, before getting humbled by Harry Potter when engaging him for the first time. While Antilene is much more humble by the time that Nazarick has been transported to the New World and shows a great deal of being a Spirited Competitor, she still takes great pride in her abilities as she can beat any of the NPCs (barring the ones who are Level 100) in a one-on-one spar using only pure skill and innate power for both parties.
  • Spirited Competitor: She showcases a great love for sportsmanship and competition during her off-screen spars with the Nazarick NPCs in chapter 11.
  • That Man Is Dead: Compared to her canon counterpart, Antilene no longer goes by Zesshi Zetsumei after escaping the Slane Theocracy.
  • This Cannot Be!: According to Harry when he recounted their first battle, Antilene could only verbally express how it was impossible for all her attacks to be completely countered by him.
  • Took a Level in Cheerfulness: Antilene's notably more cheerful than her canon counterpart after being raised by Harry in the intervening years before Nazarick's arrival to the New World.
  • World's Strongest Woman: Maruyama says that she is "the Overlord of the New World", and she is the only person serving a nation who goes over level 50, being in the high 80s in a place where a legendary creature is equal to level 30 and an average human adventurer is likely to be less. Naturally, this means she could easily nuke anyone aside from Harry, Momonga, the level 100 Nazarick NPCs, and the Platinum Dragon Lord.

Aura Bella Fiora and Mare Bello Fiore

Aura Bella Fiora and Mare Bello Fiore

    Arche Eeb Rile Furt

Arche Eeb Rile Furt

A worker and magic caster of Foresight. She was also a former noble and a student of the Magic Academy.

  • Aura Vision: Her talent enables her to see a person's aura to gauge their strength. Back when she first met Harry, she mentions that seeing his aura at full real power caused her to be overwhelmed and the same goes with Antilene's aura.
  • Big Sister Instinct: She loves her younger twin sisters dearly and plans to take them away from their Money Dumb Abusive Parents after paying off their debt.
  • Impoverished Patrician: She was a former noble trying to make herself and her family a living despite the massive debts incurred by her parents, who have refused to swallow their pride or give up their extravagant lifestyle. This is now averted upon being adopted by Harry.
  • Irony:
    • She became an Impoverished Patrician due to Emperor Jircniv ascending to the throne and stripping her family of their noble status. Yet, upon being adopted by Harry, through his and Jircniv's Batman Gambit, she and her younger twin sisters essentially regained their noble status as princesses of Nazarick.
    • In canon, Arche immediately did a Stress Vomit and is overwhelmed with fear to the point that Roberdyck had to cast "Lion's Heart" to calm her down after seeing some of Ainz's true power through her Aura Vision. In the fic, she's in awe of Momonga's power instead after getting used to seeing Harry's aura during the intervening years before the Great Tomb of Nazarick came to the New World.

    Sebas Tian

Sebas Tian

    Yuri Alpha

Yuri Alpha

    Narberal Gamma

Narberal Gamma

The strongest member of the "Pleiades Six Stars", the battle maid squad of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. She is a doppelganger of the wizard class, but because she only possesses one level in the racial class she is essentially limited to a single humanoid form of surpassing beauty and slightly odd fingers. While most of the Pleiades are just as evil as she is, they can at least feign normal social etiquette while Nabe generally refuses to even learn human names.

  • Always Someone Better: To her annoyance and begrudging respect, Antilene Heran Fouche is the superior fighter to her in their off-screen spar (even if they were to use magic, Antilene has her beat in that department as well).
  • Hey, You!: Like her canon counterpart, she's the only Pleiades to explicitly state that she doesn't bother knowing human names because she thinks it's far beneath her to make the effort to address insects. When she's forced to converse with people, she only uses "you" or something similar. She's even surprised that her fellow Pleiades comrades, even those that eat humans, actually put the effort to learn the names of humans they interact with. The only exception to this rule is Tuare according to Word of God, and in regards to Antilene, she won't say her name unless prompted, and even then, it takes an annoying effort for Nabe to do so.
Antilene: And I didn't hear you greet me, Narberal.
Narberal: *after a moment, gritted her teeth* ...Lady Antilene *in the tone one would normally reserve for a piece of shit smeared on one's shoe*.
  • Humans Are Insects: This is a pretty common mindset among Nazarick denizens. Narberal goes so far as to refer to humans as insects even when speaking to them. Among other things, she's called humans planarians, mosquitoes (doubly amusing since the said person was actually a vampire and Narberal wasn't even aware of it), gnats, etc. She has never once referred to a human by their name, aside from Tuare. Even the other members of the Pleiades, including the ones who eat humans, have better social skills. Also, this mindset extends toward Half-Human Hybrids like Antilene, and, at best, she'll only call her by name if prompted in a grating tone due to the latter being the adoptive daughter of Harry and having some begrudging respect for her pure skill and innate power.
  • Insult Backfire: Her usual "insect" insults towards humans, such as Leinas Rockbruise, backfire in chapter 27.
Narberal: *Kneels down* My lords, Lady Albedo! *seeing Leinas is still standing up* On your knees, worm!
    Leinas: Worms don't have knees.
  • Pet the Dog: Unlike the rest of the human characters, Word of God states that Tuare is the only human so far that Nabe doesn't call her usual "insect" label, both due to her dedication to Nazarick and having some sympathy to the horrors that Tuare endured as a former Sex Slave.
  • Smug Super: The strongest Pleiade barring Aureole Omega, one of the most evil (tied with Solution), and by very far the most overtly arrogant and scornful. Even her default face for interacting with humans involves looking at them like disgusting insects to be swatted. To say that she was simply "sore" from losing to Antilene in their off-screen spar, never mind that the latter is half-human, is a bit of an understatement.
  • Sore Loser: It's heavily implied that she's very salty about her loss against Antilene in their previous spar, considering her own status as the strongest member of the "Pleiades Six Stars" especially when the latter is half-human.
  • Villain Respect: Downplayed. She has some begrudging respect for Antilene's superior strength and skill, but she would prefer to ignore her presence due to the latter's half-human heritage.
