(Under Construction)
The main antagonists and bosses of the game who reside in the cave struck with fear and seek only to kill whatever enters their home, but they can be turned over through love. Most of them are members of six races that have their own characteristics and traits such as representing a negative emotion and color. They are Veyerals, Zaramechs, Guardians, Shambles, Eyeric Glyphs, and Glass Flora.
- All There in the Manual: More info on the monsters is revealed when cards of them are radiated.
- Anti-Villains: Even though they've shown hostility toward the Zaraden and trying to harm them, they're actually paralyzed with fear and don't know how to express love and affection, so the creatures are lonely and desire friendship.
- Color Motif: Each kind of monster is represented by a color. This is reflected in what color of tetrids the player gets from damaging them. Even the newborn monsters and the spherical NFTs (Nice Friend Things) each embody the color of that race.
- Defeat Equals Explosion: When most monsters are beaten with love in-game, they blow up,note but it doesn't kill them.
- Defeat Equals Friendship: Through love, each playable Zaraden befriends the monsters.
- Didn't Need Those Anyway!: Most bosses have parts that you can break, such as the petals on Glass Flora, the wings of Eyeric Glyphs and the arms and legs of the Sentinels. The bosses will keep fighting anyway until their fear bar has been completely depleted.
- Improbably Female Cast: Like the Zaraden protagonists, the monsters are all girls.
- Leitmotifs: Each group has two battle themes, and special monsters have three of their own; one for normal battles and the other for special battles. Newborn monsters, however, have their own battle theme which is "Monster Birthday".
- Motif: Besides the color, negative emotion is represented by each group of monsters.
- Samus Is a Girl: While it isn't apparent, every one of them is actually a female.
- Shows Damage: Almost all of the bosses have breakable parts, and many of them show damage before they get destroyed.
- Underground Monkeys: Some monsters have alters, which tend to be palette swaps with some changes in their patterns. Often overlaps with Upgraded Boss, as the alters are often a bit harder than their originals.
- Upgraded Boss: Many boss alters are a bit harder than their originals.
- The Babies of the Bunch: The newborns are the youngest of all the monsters in the game.
Shambles
A race of monsters that have control over the 4th dimension representing shame and green.- Leitmotif: The Shambles' battle themes are "Shambled Paradox" and "Trypophobia".

They are represented by the radiant color.- Disappears into Light: Unlike other monsters that explode when defeated, they instead shine brightly once they're taken down, but like all the monsters, it doesn't cause them to die.
- Leitmotif: Unlike the six races of monsters, special monsters have three battle themes which are "Fever Dream" for normal battles, "Impending Doom" for special battles from events with either Nix Polyps or Tox Polyps, and "Lucid Dissonance" for very special battles in the Radiant Garden.

Level Range:
Overlevel Limit:
- Breather Boss: Invoked. She has easy patterns, and her description states that she wants to be defeated. Additionally, one of her achievements requires you to defeat her without moving.note
- Comeback Mechanic: In Story Mode, she serves as one by being an intentionally easy boss who appears to players who struggle with low karma and gives good rewards upon defeat. This gives the player a chance to recover.
- Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: Averted — Anomaly and her shiny form are the only boss battles not to have any elemental weakness. Anomaly still has elemental attacks, though.
- Leitmotif: She has her own battle theme which is called "Long Distance".
- PiƱata Enemy: In Story Mode, she's an intentionally easy boss who gives good rewards when defeated. However, as she only appears if you're struggling with low karma, she's more of a Comeback Mechanic than a bonus to seek out.
- Title Drop: More like Background Drop, but Anomaly's first appearance is the broken, scarred heart shown in teaser trailers.

Nova
A Special Monster who has created six coloured simulacra of herself: Emerald, Ruby, Topaz, Sapphire, Citrine and Amethyst. Each corresponds to a category of monsters and has a boss battle of her own. The game puts them in the corresponding category even though they are parts of Nova, and not real members of the categories. Nova also has a Sequential Boss battle where you have to take down all of her simulacra before facing Nova herself.- Flunky Boss: All of the simulacra spawn rocks that fire bullets upon defeat, and may spawn bullets as they move. Additionally, all of the simulacra are orbited by three small rocks that sometimes fire aimed bullets clusters at you.
- Gameplay and Story Integration: Nova's description mentions that the simulacra can feel what the others are feeling. This is why all of them are removed from the pool after you love one of them — they all feel the love and don't need to be loved again in that run.
- Leitmotif: "Lucid Dissonance"
