This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI fixed the indentation on Monster.Pretty Cure. It looks better now.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. Please add the following write-up to Monster.Literature A To L, who has been deemed a keep in the CM clean-up thread.
- American Psycho: The truly despicable main character Patrick Bateman is a vapid, greedy, Manhattanite stock broker by day, and a remorseless sociopath and serial killer by night. He murders and tortures women in the most sexually sadistic and horrific ways imaginable, callously kills his colleagues over the pettiest of slights, eats the brains of some of his victims and experiments with the corpses, and actually thinks murdering a child isn't evil enough because he wants the death to affect more people. He eventually goes on a destructive rampage through the city, killing several cops and numerous innocents who get in his way. While the story plays with the notion of whether all the events happened as described, the novel and its movie adaptation completely construct the idea of the Complete Monster. Bateman himself eventually concludes that he is a walking nightmare whose inhumanity and cruelty know no bounds, and whose only discernable emotions are pride, hatred, and disgust.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"
Tweaked a bit:

Please add the following to Double Standard Rape: Female on Male:
- 30 Rock: Double Subverted. While the TGS writers are watching TV, they see that Lynn Onkman, a teacher convicted of statutory rape about 20 years earlier for her relationship with her eighth-grade student, has been released from prison. They eventually figure out that the kid was Frank, the writing team's self-described resident dirtbag. (Frank goes on to reconnect and resume his relationship with Lynn).
Another chunk of things to be removed from Administrivia.Wick Namespace Migration
The following creator pages have been cut for being stubs, and can thus be removed from the Creator Pages In Main list:
- Prin Pardus
- Pt ME Productions
- Rainbow Animation Group
- Sesame Workshop
- Top Cow
From Film P To Z, please change the Prom Night entry as follows:
- Prom Night series:
- Mary Lou Maloney from the second and third films was just an Alpha Bitch in life, manipulating boys to her own ends. When she used two boys to become prom queen, one of them, Billy, decides to retaliate with a prank, but Mary gets killed in a freak accident. Thirty years later, her spirit awakens when a girl named Jess takes a gem out of her crown, and as a result gets killed by Mary's spirit. She later torments the main character Jess's best friend Vicki Carpenter with Hellish hallucinations before possessing her. She later kills the local priest, Buddy (also one of her old prom dates), telling him there is no God or Heaven to torture him. As it turns out Vicki was dating Billy's son Craig, and Billy was the new principal, she uses this to plan to get revenge on Billy through his son and taunts him about it. Later she kills Vicki's other friend for Monica for suspecting something is going on with Vicki. While getting ready for prom, she tries to seduce Vicki's father and kills her mother. At the prom, Mary cheats the vote by killing a boy named Josh, who's running the prom votes. Billy is forced to shoot Vicki but that just gives Mary physical form. In the rampage that follows, Mary opens a portal to the underworld and attempts to drag Craig down with her. In the next film, after escaping hell, she kills a janitor who was one of her ex boyfriends. She seduces a teenage boy named Alexander, who already has a girlfriend, and kills a teacher for giving Alexander bad grades, and puts a strain on his relationship with Sarah, and kills a guidance counselor for being suspicious. Mary later kills Ale's rival Andrew, which prompts Alex to reject Mary. In retaliation, she kills his best friend Shane and frames him. When Alex rejects Mary again, she plans to kill Sarah at the prom. When Alex rushes to save her, Mary agrees to spare her, if he goes to hell with her and be her prom king for eternity. When Sarah seemingly manages to rescue Alex, Mary gives them both a false Hope Spot before killing Sarah.
- Prom Night (2008): Richard Fenton was a teacher who had hidden pedophilic urges towards his fourteen-year-old student, Donna, whom he began stalking and harassing. Once his obsession became exposed, causing him to get fired and be given a restraining order, Fenton decided he wanted Donna to himself, so he killed her family, including her younger brother, before being arrested. Three years later, Fenton breaks out of prison on Donna's prom night, and atteneds her prom party at a local hotel incognito, killing Donna's friends and anyone unfortunate enough to be in his way, including hotel staff. When bodies are found and Donna is taken home, Fenton sneaks into her house, slitting her boyfriends throat while he is sleeping. He finally attempts to kill Donna as he is about to get gunned down by police.
Literature M To Z: Please remove The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara and create a new tree as follows:
- Shannara series:
- The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara: The Morgawr is The Big Bad of the trilogy. He's a half man, half lizard freak who slaughters Grianne and Bek Ohmsfords' family, kidnaps Grianne, tells her Bek is dead, and convinces her that Walker, the Druid, and his Arch-Enemy is behind it, then raises her to be as bad as himself. He's also a magic-draining leech who feeds on the souls, minds, and magics of his victims and turns people into People Puppets by pulling their brains out through the back of their heads and eating them, leaving them with their skills, but no free will. In the opening pages of Morgawr he drains two-hundred fifty men onscreen, scarring witness Sen Dunsidan for life, and driving the latter's Torture Technician to suicide. He later does the same to the crew of Grianne's ship, Black Moclips after she betrays him, before hunting her down and trying to kill her because he considers her life his property to dispose of how he wishes. Completely comfortable with his evil, The Morgawr takes pride in having brought Grianne down to his level, and finds her desire to better herself completely laughable.
- Cree Bega from the same work is The Dragon to The Morgawr. A Smug Snake of a Mwellret with a penchant for murder, Cold-Blooded Torture, Kick the Dog, and Fantastic Racism, Cree Bega is contemptuous of all the little peoplessss, and develops an unhealthy obsession with Ahren Elessedil, making it his personal mission to transform him into The Woobie. He forces Ahren to watch The Morgawr feed on the crew of Black Moclips for no other reason than traumatising him, and upon Ahren's escape, is given custody of his crush, Ryer Ord Star. He and his Mwellrets proceed to strip her, beat her, break all of her fingers, slash the soles of her feet, defile her until she faints, and then after she wakes up, tie her to a yardarm, lash her with a rawhide whip, and leave her to bake in the sun, leading to her suicide. During his final confrontation with Ahren, Cree Bega stabs Elven Hunter Kian In the Back, and then gloats to Ahren about what he did to Ryer Ord Star ("She took ssso long to die little Elvesss. Ssso long it ssseemed it would take forever."), before trying to kill him. The cumulative effect of all the trauma that Cree Bega puts Ahren through is an eventual psychological implosion that leaves him utterly shellshocked and broken into the next series
- The Defenders of Shannara: Mischa is the secondary antagonist of The High Druid's Blade. A sadistic old witch, Mischa is an ally of Arcannen, for whom she works as a Torture Technician. She uses her illusions to torment Chrysallin Leah for weeks on end, convincing her that she has been permanently disfigured and crippled by torturers working for Aphenglow Elessedil. She then pretends to befriend Chrysallin and helps her to "escape" before having her illusory Aphenglow track them down, faking her own death to further ruin Chrys's psyche, and convince her that Aphenglow is her enemy. When Grehling helps Chrys escape for real, Mischa goes after them, intending to dissect Grehling, and shatter Chrys's mind.
Also for the aftermentioned literature page, in the Silence of The Lambs tree add links to Literature.Hannibal and Literature.Hannibal Rising.
Moved the Main.Trope Repair Shop page to Administrivia.Trope Repair Shop, so the following locked pages need the one or two wicks Namespaced:

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I am still concerned about the Example Indentation of Monster.Pretty Cure - if it's a sequel, it needs its own first level bullet point, not a subbullet.
Did everything else.

I'd like to add the following entry to Word Cruft, if the admins have no objections:
- Gratuitous criticism: There's no good reason to mention in any trope example how well-regarded or well-known the work happens to be. Describing a work as obscure or forgettable or a seminal classic may sound knowledgeable, but it lacks objectivity, and even in YMMV tropes it just isn't relevant information.
DTH. I edited nombretomado's post so that I could easily get to the page. I have to ask why The Deadliest Mushroom was turned into UsefulNotes.Nuclear Weapons rather than UsefulNotes. The Deadliest Mushroom, though.
I'll ask about the Word Cruft addition.

On Administrivia.Namespace, please correct the link for "Pantheon/" so that it'd go to the actual list of pages with the Pantheon/ namespace (currently, it just goes to Trope Pantheons), like this:
And while you're at it, please standardize all the dashes to "--", currently a lot of them are simple hyphens, it makes the page looks messy.

I'm afraid I really couldn't tell you. It was posted on the namespace migration that it was being changed to it. I assumed the name change was run through the proper channels.
Please add the WesternAnimation/ namespace to Main. The Dover Boys on WesternAnimation.Animaniacs. Once that's done Main. The Dover Boys can be removed from Administrivia.Wick Namespace Migration, and added to CompletedMigrations.Western Animation.
