Weird dreams

In my dream last night, it started off pretty normally with me going about my morning routine, but all of a sudden, there were a bunch of charmless strangers in my flat (one of them even presumptuously saying that we were an item). Then it seemed like I woke up and everything was back to normal, except for a bizarre painting that suddenly appeared on my wall. Then after that, I suddenly woke up in the house that I grew up in, and there were a bunch of clocks all telling different times on the nightstands. Then when I went into what used to be my and my brother's room, there was a bunch of covered-up furniture, but underneath one of them, there was a staircase that lead to a room that was never there before. I woke up before I could explore it.

I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.

Sounds like an Inception situation. :P

Last night I had a dream that Super Smash Bros Ultimate had a huge announcement with two parts.

The first was that they were switching from 2D gameplay to 3D. All of the stages were being converted to 3D environments for the players to move around freely on. The camera angle was now from the back, much like (as much as I regret saying it :P) Fortnite.

The second was a new DLC character: Tails. Tails' moveset was made to take advantage of the 3D stages. His gimmick was that he could only face forward. Instead of turning around, he would sidestep or step backwards. However, he had a variety of guns and weapons that he could aim in any forward direction with. It was an "allusion" to some first-person shooter game starring Tails that was allegedly released in the 90s. (Which my brain apparently made up.)

Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like this

I was at this event hosted by Tv Tropes with my dad and brother, think it was held in a hotel or something. We would get a bunch of sheets with various puzzles on them and trying to figure out stuff, including filling in words, math puzzles, riddles ect. and some where we'd have to figure out the answer from info we got in the text. In one of the latter, we had to find out at which time someone did something, I don't remember what exactly it was about except we had figured out that it would be going there late at night when most people were asleep.

Later, I was about to look at new Hunger Games Simulation update and suddenly got teleported to a rollercoaster that had already started and was just about to go down, and had the safety bar closed above us for some reason (everything went ok, though)

I had a dream where the smiley face from Minesweeper was approved as a Complete Monster somehow. (And it wasn't from a fanfic, it was from the game XD)

The Protomen enhanced my life.

I had this weird dream where Goldie Locks had sex with a Belgian waffle and a vacuum cleaner.

In my dream last night, Puma and I were talking about Zootopia, and about a character in it who isn't in the real movie: a ghost bat who spoke with a German accent.

All I can remember from the dreams I had last night was that my folks and I were at the beach and there were a ton of very loud kids staying at the same hotel that we were staying at, there was a new interstate highway being built on the beach, there was a strange Muppet movie involving Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo using a time-traveling magic carpet to discover a Bad Future where the world had been destroyed by an invasion of giant alien palm trees and they and the other Muppets teamed up to prevent it from happening, and there was a goat living by itself on a tiny island.

• Incels brigaded reality. Instead of using this power to make women conform to their twisted visions, they... vandalized movie posters with complaints that "modern men" speak too effeminately.
• The Simpsons satirized megachurches and greed in American Evangelical Christianity by depicting a megachurch combined with a not-Walmart. It was the size of several city blocks and plastered with slogans related to joining now and easy salvation. This is probably the most intelligent commentary my subconscious has ever produced.
• Some crazy plot involving traveling all over with several Original Characters, but all I remember is a serious cosplay performance event being hosted in... the dining hall of my school. Jeremy Irons was there in person to provide voiceover for a performance with a Scar quadsuit. I was somehow allowed to sit on the step up to the side of the stage. Daisuke Ono was there and made eye contact with me like this was a Wattpad fanfic.

I was at a con, and looked through the karaoke song list, only to find several "versions" of songs with bootleg, badly-translated lyrics (one of them was Urotander, Underhanded Rangers, the others were various game/anime/possibly other Vocaloid songs, I think), which I of course would be excited for if it wasn't for the fact that I hadn't heard those particular versions. I was also going to cosplay Chiaki Nanami and Ibuki Mioda (the former actually being on my "maybe" list but not currently being worked on or gotten started on), but I hadn't had the time to finish the costumes (it was March in the dream and I dreamt it during mid-late February) and didn't bring most pieces anyway.

I was in a spooky dark forest, possibly with someone else, and quickly understood I was hiding from zombies. Then, a zombie Pikachu showed up, and we got a quick cutscene giving a closer view before I/we ran away, sneaking behind another zombie in the process.

Later, I got to a shop/market where they were selling different kinds of food and other things, I think I was about to buy a bunch of fruit?

This one is more of a nightmare, but last night I dreamed that I woke up and my room was crawling with rats, with some even on my bed nibbling at my feet.

My dad and I went to some sort of bookstore and I found an incredible novelization of the World of Light story mode from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I only remember little bits and pieces of it, such as an expanded version of the opening and Kirby meeting Mario and one of the Dragon Quest Heroes (Erdick, specifically; for some reason it wasn't the default Hero) shortly after Galeem's attack. There was also a bizarre subplot where the hero from Dragon Quest V was also there, but had been turned into a giant bipedal frog and everyone was trying to find a way to reverse what had happened to him. I ended up having to put the book down to help my dad with something, and then afterward I couldn't find the book again for some reason.

There were other random things in my dreams last night that I can't remember; only other things I can remember at this point was going to a swimming pool with my grandpa and being turned into a snake at one point.

I dreamed that I was doing a jigsaw puzzle (of kittens, at least) that was made out of potato slices and then I had to throw all these eggs at the floor so I could merge them into a pair of designer jeans.

then in the other dream it was my birthday and I was going to go out to Mexican food with this couple I was friends with in the dream but the Mexican place had half the menu missing and replaced by eights so we went upstairs for Chinese food instead, which I decided was better anyway because of some prophecy involving wontons or something. And one of my feet felt too heavy so I was having trouble getting up the stairs easily but I made it, and the couple had already ordered me some kind of drink with lime in it (I guess they'd done this while I was trying to get up the stairs) and had bought me yarn for a birthday present.

Stupid doomed timeline...

So there was first me in my kitchen with the Silver Age Legion of Superheroes playing cards and wondering why my family didn’t notice them with all the noise we were making, then I went to check the living room and it was first Gwen and some Ben 10 reboot aliens having a paper airplane contest which then shifted to them throwing paper airplanes to bear mouthes, me complaining to Chameleon Boy probably, which then cuts to a me in a store looking at books, and the ones with an image have been cut.

There was a kid with me who then appeared in a big house with me and I probably was telling him something, then we get the DCEU Superman, Wonder Woman/Batman (it switched every few minutes), Aquaman and Shazam who were saying (with subtitles) that the kid was missing. Shazam, using a weird new power of locationing (which made his lightning glow even more) tried to find the kid while saying that he either was trying to find a way to impress his intersex crush or find some more Krasher cards.

Then, after running a bit with the JL, we cut to a semi-buddhist temple-bathroom, with my family, that slowly turns into a beauty shop with skin creams and stuff. Which then cuts to a Italian Spider-Man/Spider-Man swap for some seconds, then turns into a weird thing were a big dude gets into the JTTW gang, then is unable to get enough food, eats rats and the horse, Tripitaka is eaten, and the rest die or something. Probably but not really the same dude gets pinned down by small people, then he scares them by using his powers of every time he blinks, the sun disappears.

And then we get a very chibi-esque game where I forgot the first few minutes, but then was chibi-Loki getting defeated by me, given a sword by Sif, and then trained and got to say someone that was mean that they would fight in his republic in Asgard the cold and harsh Soviet Russia.

Which then cuts to Captain America, Spider-Man and co. trying to escape what looks like a Nazi prison. From above, and there is snow, which makes it look more like Russia.

And then I woke up. Longest detailed dream since months.

The details of the dream I had last night are spotty at this point, but it started out with me going on a strange subway ride with some of my folks, Timmy Turner and Cosmo and Wanda, Kermit the Frog, Beaker, and a third Muppet (I can't remember who it was; it was either Fozzie, Miss Piggy, or Clifford), and a bunch of The Lion King/The Lion Guard characters. Apparently my folks and I were going to visit someone who had caught the coronavirus and was staying at a hospital. We got off the train in a large city and went into the hospital. For some reason, we spent most of the time derping around a little convenience store that was in the hospital for some reason and bought a ton of ice cream.

After that, we left the hospital (without ever visiting the sick friend) just in time to see that Scar (in his ghostly form from The Lion Guard) had just announced that he had taken over the entire city, effective immediately. The scene then changed abruptly to a scene that apparently took place some time after Scar conquered the city, wherein I flipped back and forth between being either an observer or Bunga as Timmy sang songs and did magic tricks on a stage held up by Cosmo and Wanda (who were locked into the forms of giant green monsters) for an audience of hyenas while a group of prisoners (consisting of the characters who had been on the train minus myself and my folks) looked on and tried to come up with a plan of escape. However, after a few minutes of this, Cosmo shouted: "I can't take this anymore! Let's mutiny!!" He then dropped the stage (poor Timmy) and began attacking the hyenas with DVDs that he was throwing like shurikens while Timmy and Wanda began trying to free the prisoners and get the Cosmo and Wanda's wands back. It was, of course, at this point where things were starting to get crazy that I woke up.

Jesus Christ... I had a dream that I was some commando storming a secret evil base, and I shot dead some punch clock mooks when they were disarmed.

I have had a couple of wacky dreams lately, and here are some of the highlights.

My first wacky dream involves me sitting in a parking lot. I was right in the weird spot where I’m dreaming, but not fully unconcious, leading to this zany case of my brain going on autopilot. I am sitting in a car in a parking lot, it’s normal, then Rhett and Link are walking around the parking lot, and strange nonsense that I completely forgot the details happened, as I wake up baffled.

About a week ago ago I had a dream where I was supposedly at some sort of preschool type building, and there were a lot of VHS tapes of Curious George on the floor. Every VHS tape was of Curious George, and I don’t quite know why. Then this little girl appears and she tries to break my headphones. I franticly try to get her to stop, but then I wake up and realize how strange of a dream that was.

The next night, I am on a plane, and I want to go to the airplane’s bathroom, but we are trying to land on a street for some reason, and the sky is pink. It then turns into an edgy drama show about guys in skyscrapers who hate each other.

More recently I had a dream where Cartoon Network was showing this show called “Boom Squad” or something, but it just conisted of vague flashy colors, lots of shouting, and it was rated TV-MA for some reason. That’s very out of place for Cartoon Network. But wait, it gets weirder.

Next thing I know I’m in a (very clean) public bathroom on a toilet as I hear two strange and high-pitched voices. I don’t know what they are talking about, and they just casually appear before me and hand me two full plates of breakfast while I’m SITTING ON THE TOILET. I’m just as confused as you are.

Naturally I have more dreams, but I shall save some for later. In conclusion, My brain has had a resurgence in in producing surreal nonsense late at night.

Stuff and things

I had some mini-dreams today that I don’t remember very well.

First it was some weird ghost thing with me as an adult employee of a company with the ghost of uhh, my aunt possessing me and there was another body who had nobody inside so we eventually switched bodies and stuff.

Then it was a weird dolphin or shark pirate caught in a pirate ship and they were gonna kill him the next day, but at night the captain revealed himself to be made of seaweed or something and let him go in a boat.

Then we got a succession of even smaller dreams featuring “fairy tales” in some weird comic series and I woke up.

I had a dream last night where I was in the world of what was supposedly an old cartoon that used to be on PBS Kids.

I was running across a river by stepping on these stones that had humanlike faces and could talk. I was running from the show's apparent villain, this giant stone wall with the face of a man with a long beard, who was somehow moving quickly, chasing me.

Somehow I feel like this could have been a Nightmare Fuel moment in a show I saw as a kid, but I don't really remember anything like it.

Oh yeah, and for some reason, I was Joka.

It started with a short period nightmare, then had some stuff in the middle and switched to our main focus: A Scavulture movie trailer which looked pretty DC-ish. Instead of the Vulture/Scavenger Amalgam the original, it was a 15 or 16 year-old clone of them created by Doc Ock and some other Mad Scientist, which suddenly escaped from his text tube, grabbed sone random armor, and fled. And then I woke up. Which was a pity, since the movie seemed cool.

I was working on a costume for a character from some Mario comic that existed in the dream... and that's really all I remember from that part (don't remember specifics of the character or costume). Also, I wanted to check up on my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town, but despite it having been less than a week since I last played (both irl and in-dream)... I only had 3 villagers left (looked at the bottom screen and only saw three villager houses remaining) and noticed my fave Tangy was one of the ones moved out :c The remaining three might all have been new ones, at least a green penguin who isn't even an actual AC character. At one point it would cut to this short scene involving my villagers and... I think K.K. Silder or another special NPC?

I was on a school field trip with a vague teacher and class who didn't resemble anyone I knew in real life. We went to some big theater building downtown that did both movies and stage shows. I was looking at some of the posters as we walked in, but the only one I remember was a poster for a stage version of Undertale. I was really hoping we were going to see that.

But we went into one of the movie theater rooms. There were some kids from other schools there too. Just before we sat down, our teacher told us that we were there to watch Spirited Away, and we had to take notes on... something about No-Face.

However, there was also going to be an episode of the Pokemon anime before the movie, and the teacher also wanted us to write down all the Pokemon featured in that episode's Pokerap. I don't know why.

Unfortunately, I woke up before the show started. Man, I miss field trips... :P

I just had a dream where the Sonic movie had a third post-credits scene at the very end showing Robotnik teaming up with Infinite

After I woke up, I looked it up just to be sure, and yeah, there's no scene like that. I'm honestly really disappointed, but Infinite is a Base-Breaking Character, so I guess not everyone would've been happy about that.
