I think Birthday Beginning flows better, and is more accurate in conveying the intended meaning than Beginning Birthday.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.
Begins With A Birthday could also work.
Only renaming has been suggested with multiple options given. Since it's been 5 days, is it time to just crowner this?

The Heros Birthday is suffering from misuse and the misleading name might be contributing to this problem. What should the trope's new name be?

The Hero's Birthday is supposed to be used for works that start on the protagonist's birthday, but it tends to get used for any time the protagonist has a birthday (with some even stating that the work doesn't start on the protagonist's birthday). Of the 50 wicks I checked, here's what I found:
So, a grand total of 58% of the wicks were misused or ZCEs. To fix this, I'd personally rename the trope to Birthday Beginning or something similar, since I'm pretty sure the ambiguous name of the trope is the main issue here. Additionally, I'd also disambiguate the page between the renamed trope and tropes such as Birthday Episode, since it seems to be getting confused for that a lot (especially in the recap namespace).
