Allies

    Zelie and Olmo
A pair of siblings who are used as containers for Gash's soul and are sent to look for Kiyomaro in Egypt.
  • Back from the Dead: Gash found them dead in the orphanage managed by Cherish and Ted. He then sacrificed his life to revive them and as many other demons as he could, betting on the siblings finding Kiyomaro and figuring out the method to revive him.
  • Oh, Crap!: Zelie spends the first few chapters with a look of complete despair on her face when it seems like Waig and Gill have the upper hand but does anything she can to protect Olmo despite this.
  • Soul Jar: Gash uses his life force to revive the siblings, which also has the effect of making them part of a process that in turn revives him into the Human World from a mummy.

    Ziggy
A demon who is tasked by Gash with bringing Zelie, Olmo, and the Zakeru spell over to Kiyomaro, but is killed in action.

    Mippy
An odd dog-like demon who's somehow connected to Gash.
  • Team Pet: Mippy follows the heroes as an unassuming pet, but he already knew Gash from the kingdom's castle and the two exchange winks at each other like they're plotting something the others don't know about.

    Zahra
Kiyo's assistant while he's doing archeology work in Egypt.
  • Spell My Name With An S: While the katakana for her name is "Zahara", her name is seen written as "Zahra" in intended Arabic at one point.
  • Tempting Fate: Kiyomaro leaves her in charge of the ruins they found and she's glad to not be involved in any more fights against monsters. It's then seen that one of the spellbooks Kiyomaro sent out has landed on her office.

    Consomme

Kanchomé's little brother.
  • Big Brother Worship: He considers Kanchomé a great brother and gets upset at Folgore laughing at a photo showing how the grown up duck looks like.
  • Children Are Innocent: Consomme's mother put a sleep mask on him before Kanchomé fled from the Demon World, so the kid apparently doesn't have any clue of what happened as if he Slept Through the Apocalypse. Kanchomé further deceives Consomme to send him to Folgore while using himself as bait to lead their pursuers away from them, but luckily Folgore notices something is very suspicious about how Consomme doesn't know why and for how long they are supposed to live together.
  • The Cutie: He's a very adorable and innocent baby.
  • Practically Different Generations: Consomme is a toddler and his older brother Kanchomé is 19 years old as of the sequel.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: A duck-faced little boy that practically fits on Folgore's palms.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Folgore mistakes him for Kanchomé at first glance, as the boy looks the same as Kanchomé did but somehow even more babyish.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Consomme's family in general loves sweets, and his favorite are donuts.

    Nicolas, Jean and Flora
Sherry's children.

    Lily
A friend of Tia's.
  • Black Eyes of Crazy: Inverted. She seems sane from the little screentime she's gotten so far, but her eyes are reminiscent of Fango's when he had Godufa's power. Time will hopefully tell if this artistic choice means anything.

Villains

    Beliel
The mysterious leader of the invading forces who holds a grudge against the Spellbooks and the Demon World.
  • Bad Boss: He revives warriors from across the multiverse and forces them to work for him under the threat that he could remotely dispose of them anytime.
  • Big Bad: Set up as the major villain of the sequel.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: In one of the Gash Café chapters from the first series, it is implied that the spellbook gods force demons and humans into violent competitions to keep them prepared against Beliel. For some reason, nobody seems to know why exactly the villain wants to eradicate the demon world even though Dauwan's generation has fought him off in the past.
  • In the Hood: Wears both a hood and a piece of headgear that masks the top half of his face.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: His forces invade the world of demons and begin exterminating everyone for unknown reasons.
  • Orcus on His Throne: Remains in a fortress while monitoring the actions of his army.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Beliel tasks powerful assassins with killing the 10 first ranked demons and bookkeepers from the latest 100 demon children tournament. However, due to lack of information he ends up sending weak combinations of minions and spells against fighters like Barry, a very physically strong man who only didn't rank as high due to sacrificing himself for Gash during the Faudo saga.

    Brelda

    Waig and Gill
A humanoid monster and a spellcaster who hunt Zelie and Olmo in Egypt after destroying an orphanage in the Demon World.
  • The Comically Serious: While looking to assassinate Zelie and Olmo, Gill wastes time sightseeing in Egypt and carries some silly merchandise around without ever losing his stoic appearance.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Waig fights Gash and Kiyomaro to the bitter end by empowering himself with many fire spells including one that boosts his strength with self-immolation, which would cause him to die in just 45 seconds. Gash and Kiyomaro still manage to mortally wound him in less than that.
  • Face Death with Dignity: When Waig is about to be killed by Gash, he's actually thankful for the great fight they had and praises how courageous Kiyomaro is.
  • Given Name Reveal: In a Gash Café chapter, Gill claims to be named "Gillbert Osamusan". Hanage Boo remarks "Osamusan" makes no sense as a surname and asks if Gill really is half Japanese, to which the boy refuses to answer.
  • Hope Crusher: Waig takes glee in breaking the spirit of his enemies, but also respects those who struggle against him with no fear.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Waig is a murderous villain who sets the tone of the sequel by killing a ton of people in Cherish's orphanage and chopping Ziggy to pieces on-panel.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Waig in his transformed form has a left arm and two right arms, which leaves a blind spot on his right side that Gash takes advantage of.
  • One-Winged Angel: Waig appears as a tall intimidating man with a transparent body that leaves his innards visible. However, his true form that bursts from within is that of a giant multi-armed cyclops with an exposed brain and bondage-like armor.
  • The Starscream: It is on the Gash Café minichapter of all things that Gill first expresses a desire to manipulate Beliel, the sequel's Big Bad.
  • Starter Villain: They are the initial antagonists in the sequel. Although Waig is deadly and very tough, Gash and Kiyomaro are still able to outwit him at every turn and kill him with relative ease.
  • Villainous Friendship: Waig and Gill get along oddly well and Gill becomes frustrated when his partner is killed, recklessly demanding the use of Baou Zakeruga from Beliel to fight Gash and Kiyomaro.
  • Would Hurt a Child: They kill an untold amount of children who lived in Cherish's orphanage, including Zelie and Olmo before Gash sacrificed himself to revive them.

    Levy Zinc and Hanage Boo
A female beastmaster and her bizarrely-named partner who hunt Kanchomé in Italy.
  • The Beastmaster: Levy can summon beasts such as a hound named Gozer and a bird named Hyros by cutting curls of her hair.
  • The Comically Serious: Levy never loses her serious attitude no matter how goofily either Nosehair Boo or the duo of Folgore and Kanchomé behave during their fight, which also makes her amusing.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Beliel forces Levy and Nosehair Boo to cast Doruku on overdrive, transforming Levy at the risk of killing her just like what happened to Waig. Kanchomé is disturbed to hear this even though he had tried to kill the assassins with a train a while before.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Levy deeply cares for her beast companions and is enraged when Kanchomé transforms them. Seeing this, Kanchomé manages to knock Levy onto the ground and make her quit fighting without forcing Gozer and Hyros to hurt her.
  • Forced into Evil: All Levy wants is to live peacefully with her beasts, who were all unjustly killed in a past life. She's forced to work as Beliel's assassin to keep her current body, and laments this when Kanchomé tries making peace with her.
  • Heal Thyself: They own a bottle with Tio's healing spell Saifojio in it, which they use to recover after Kanchomé gets them both hit by a speeding train.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: When Levy is spared by Kanchomé but is undergoing a Superpower Meltdown, Boo disables Doruku and sacrifices himself to it, stating he only wishes for her to live happily from them on.
  • Hoist by Her Own Petard: Kanchomé is able to mind control both Gozer and Hyros to subdue Levy.
  • Not So Above It All: Played for Laughs in a Gash Café chapter, where Boo scolds Gill for sightseeing on Egypt only for Levy and then himself to admit they also wasted time, offscreen, by visiting a zoo and an insect museum, respectively.
  • One-Winged Angel: Levy can fuse with her beasts to make them stronger and later transforms into a giant horned beast on her own as a self-destructive attack.
  • Shout-Out: One of Levy's summons is a literal Hell Hound named Gozer.
  • Strong and Skilled: Nosehair Boo is a trained martial artist taught at the school of Niihaogoumou and Folgore doesn't refute his claim of him being physically stronger.
  • This Cannot Be!: Boo becomes baffled at how a ridiculous guy like Kanchomé has the brains to mind control two entirely different life forms like puppets.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Boo likes grape Fanta and sweets that crackle in one's mouth.
  • Unfortunate Names: What kind of name even is "Hanage Boo/Bristly Prickly Nosehair Boo"? Parco Folgore, whose name translates from Italian to "Lightning Park", promptly mocks him for it.
    • In a Gash Café chapter, Gill bluntly asks Boo why he's called that and the man answers it's actually a title in the Niihaogoumou school of sorcery that has several branches named after other kinds of body hair.
  • We Will Meet Again: After the fight with Kanchomé, Levy is warped away by Beliel while lamenting that they remain enemies despite his helpfulness to her.

    Prince Pola and The Witch
A prince and an old witch who are sent to assassinate Megumi in Japan.
  • BFS: Pola and The Witch cast Earth's powerful Jan Ji Sorudo giant sword spell and further enhance it with some dark chanting. It gets the honor of being the first thing in the sequel to land a solid hit on Gash through his fortified Rashield.
  • Blade Below the Shoulder: While transformed, Pola's right arm is turned into a sword.
  • Combination Attack: It is noted that The Witch can use her dark incantations to enhance Pola's spells in a way the other combatants can't.
  • Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": "The Witch" never reveals what her actual name is.
  • Wicked Witch: The Witch has the appearance of an old crone with missing front teeth, a long pointy nose and moles on her face.

    Gunther's squad
A strange little man with a floating orb where his legs should be, Gunther controls an armored squadron including a headless giant that can cast stolen Mamodo spells. They are sent to eliminate Tia and the refugees under her protection.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Gunther becomes confused when Tio recovers some of her spells because he takes oddly long to notice Megumi, a human with a glowing spellbook, arriving and talking with Tio right in front of him.
  • Hate Sink: Unlike with previous henchmen in this sequel, the story doesn't even bother characterizing Gunther as more than some scumbag who enjoys tormenting Tia and the villagers she's looking after. His subordinates aren't named and once Zatch arrives, they're dealt with offscreen.
  • Inexplicably Identical Individuals: Apart from Gunther, the headless giant, and a tall reptilian figure, all the members of the squad look identical.
  • Lizard Folk: The second-tallest of the subordinates, after the headless giant, looks like a humanoid dinosaur.
  • No Name Given: Gunther himself is the only one with a name.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: They are defeated completely offscreen by Gash and their fate isn't shown or even mentioned to the readers.

    Bleu and Bobby
A duo of a small girl and a burly man who were responsible for the attack on Dr. Riddles.
  • Breaking Old Trends: Unlike almost every other pair, they don't use any spell connected to their hit list (the other exception being Levy and Hanage Boo, but they used one of Tio's spells instead). This is to prevent Kiyomaro from reviving Kido like he did to Brago.
  • Child Soldier: Bleu is a 12 years-old undead who's been forced to participate in a genocide. Dr. Riddles soon loses any animosity he could have for her setting a death curse on him and treats the girl like he would any other child.
  • Forced into Evil: Almost every member of Beliel's forces is this to an extent, but Bleu and Bobby are the most obvious. Bleu outright tells Dr. Riddles that she doesn't like doing what she does, and Bobby says they won't die for not doing what they've been ordered to do.
  • Pretty Butterfly: Bleu's motif and main source of her powers. Her green butterflies can disorient anyone, and her black butterfly acts as a death sentence for anyone who's hit with it.
  • Super Gullible: Bleu is too curious for her own sake. When left alone with Dr. Riddles, a Trickster Mentor with a penchant for trolling, she ends up believing that by saying a silly sound to Kiyomaro he'd vomit leopards from his mouth.
  • You No Take Candle: Bobby speaks like this.

Zebreet Family

A clan of seven siblings who serve Beliel, answering to the names of Zillion, Leeza, Jimoda, Gamu, Egarawitz, Ohm, and Aamon respectively. Leeza, Zillion, Gamu and Jimoda are sent to the human world to murder Sherry Belmont.
  • All Your Powers Combined: They have the ability to pool their collective magical energy into one among them for a huge powerup. Unfortunately for Zillion, he still couldn't measure up to Brago when this ability was used on him.
  • Siblings in Crime: They work together to serve Beliel in his "Mamodo hunt."
  • The Unseen: As of 2024, Egarawitz, Ohm, and Aamon have only been glimpsed as silhouettes, as they did not come along with the others to kill Sherry.

    Zillion and Leeza
A man with a desire to fight Brago and a woman with carnivorous plant-like mouths.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Like other times before, his partner uses a technique to fuse Zillion with a spell in order to increase his power at the cost of being eaten alive by the magic.
  • Graceful Loser: Much like Waig to Gash and Kiyomaro, Zillion admires the skills of both Brago and Sherry and faces his own defeat and death with dignity.
  • Suicidal Overconfidence: Zillion is too eager to fight Brago on his own despite knowing Beliel needed an entire squad to kill the hero's original body. He ends up immediately beheaded and barely lasts much longer in a second round after Leeza restores his body.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Zillion is shocked when Sherry avoids being blindsided by his attacks, which Brago takes offense to as he sternly asks how Zillion could've been foolish enough to underestimate someone who's strong enough to be his partner.

    Gamu and Jimoda
A pair of men that attack Sherri before she can join with Brago.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Like other enemies before, Gamu fuses with a spell in order to increase his power at the cost of being eaten alive by the magic.
