- Crosses the Line Twice: At one point, Kiyomaro threatens to give some kids "the Zakeru treatment" if they keep insulting him. He isn't threatening to hit children, he's threatening to force the King into hitting children.
- Like You Would Really Do It: The series' protagonist Gash starts out being presumed to have been killed in action, but naturally that's not quite the case. He sacrificed his life force to revive people but is soon resurrected in a backup body by Kiyomaro in the end of the first volume.
