This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):

some of the links (like the Visible Odor one that isn't by itself) don't link to images. I don't think some of them should be clicked, actually. May be outdated?

Suggestion: Title Drop from Team Fortress 2
I think it works better than most examples since they not only drop the title but the entire logo, so it's obvious to even those unfamiliar with the game that it's a title drop. Will crop as necessary if people like it.

Suggestion: Currently we reference this thread in the source code for winning images but wouldn't it be better to link to the specific crowner instead for validation?

Hmmmm...not a bad idea. It'd be a chore to go through all the pages that have been processed through here and change their tags, but it could be done. Anyone else?

It sounds like a good idea to do it from now on, but it's probably not worth the effort to change the link for all previous decisions - I suppose there must be hundreds of decisions throughout the years.

eroock's specifically referring to the decisions made in this thread, since so many crowners are attached to it. For regular threads it's not a problem to link to them in the page tags. As to how many would need to be fixed, we'd be looking at a ballpark estimate of 250-300 pages to change the tags on, since we've had 36 crowners w/10-20 items per crowner and averaging about half of those items being put on pages without needing their own threads to resolve.
