To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar: Johnny Castle and Blade win a drag queen contest in New York City and qualify for the finals in Los Angeles. After Luigi Mario joins them, they give Adrian Cronauer their tickets back and spend the money on an old Cadillac. On their way, Johnny beats up Officer Nice Guy Eddie in self-defense who then follows them to a backwater town where they strand after the Caddy breaks down. While they're already there, Johnny defends Rizzo against her violent husband, "Cowboy" Evans, while Randall "Pink" Floyd hits on Luigi, not knowing he's a guy in a dress.
Trading Places: Ray Stanz is a yuppie stockbroker whose life is turned upside-down by his bosses, who frame him for drug-dealing and put actual drug dealer Prince Akheem in his place, as a bet. Hooker with a Heart of GoldHelen Tasker takes pity on Ray's situation, and takes him in. Eventually, Ray and Akheem join up to get back at their bosses. Marcus Brody stars as Ray's (later Akheem's) butler.
