Scrooged: In this retelling of A Christmas Carol, idPeter Venkman is a Jerkass TV executive who, after seeing the ghost of his old mentor Charlie, encounters three spirits. The first spirit, Park Ranger Thorsen, shows him how his jerkass attitude made him lose his true love Marion Ravenwood. The second, a Myth, shows how it's hurting his personal assistant Lily Sloane and her family. And the third spirit shows how it will inevitably make him lonely even in death.
Shame: Young Magneto, a commitment-phobic sex fiend, and his free-spirited sister Jenny are very close (and often naked, occasionally together).
Shanghai Kiss: Miles Straume gets into a relationship with Claire Bennet, but he's concerned about the age gap. Miles goes to China to inherit his grandmother's house and hooks up with Stacy Hirano. In the end, the First Girl Wins.
She's All That: Tifa Lockheart is a frumpy, unattractive girl. Freddy makes a bet that he can turn her into a prom queen, but falls in love with her for real.
Showgirls: Jessie Spano hitchhikes her way to Vegas, where she meets a seamstress named Irene Daniels. Jessie becomes a lap dancer at a club but after a chance meeting with Sasha Hassler, Jessie auditions for a spot on the chorus line, eventually becoming the star of the show, stealing Sasha's part.
Red Dragon: Titus traumatizes the Incredible Hulk 2.0, but the Hulk returns to help capture Voldemort, especially after Titus helps Voldy threaten the Hulk's family and kills sleazy reporter Truman Capote. Voldy has a pet the tiger moment with the chick from Punch Drunk Love.
Manhunter: Gil Grissom returns to help the FBI etc. etc.
Hannibal Rising: Young Titus falls in love with his aunt, Hatsumomo, while stalking the Complete Monsters who ate his sister.
Prologue: A WW2 pilot befriends a desparate woman and kills her, on her own orders.
That Yellow Bastard: A depraved carnie preys on Carmen Cortez's little sister but is rescued by John Maclane. Unfortunately, Maclane's partner Budd is a Dirty Cop under the employ of the carnie's Corrupt dad, and Maclane is shot and imprisoned. Many years later, evidence surfaces that the girl, now Sue Storm, is in danger...
The Hard Goodbye: The Wrestler has a one night stand with Jade, only to find her dead the next morning. After beating up a lot of thugs looking for answers, he seeks refuge with his parole officer Mrs. Cortez but the thugs, and evil mute choirboy Frodo catch up to them.
The Big Fat Kill: John Smith gets embroiled in a plot when his girlfriend Luanne Platter dumps complete bastard Fenster, who winds up getting killed by Suki the car artist on orders from The Light of Zartha. After it's revealed that Fenster is also a hero cop, a tratorous Lorelei Gilmore leads John Coffy and his gang into the mix to start a war, where they all have a gigantic shoot out.
Sister Act: Guinan is a Reno lounge singer who witnesses a murder by her boyfriend The Wolf. To protect her, the police send her into hiding as a nun at a convent led by Professor McGonagall. Unable to get used to the convent, Guinan starts a nuns choir which includes Peggy Hill.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home: The original crew goes back to Earth to face punishment for their actions in the previous movie, but decide to travel back to 1986 to retrieve two humpback whales when an alien probe (yes, another one), threatens their present planet. Among their difficulties is dealing with marine biologist Annie Camden.
Star Wars - A New Hope: Larry 3000 is a simple farm boy who lives with his aunt and uncle on Tatooine. Meanwhile, an emperor takes over the galaxy and has constructed a formidable "Death Star" capable of destroying whole planets, under the control of the formidable Mufasa. Princess Marie, a leader in the resistance movement, acquires plans of the Death Star, then sends a droid off to find Colonel Nicholson. Larry and Marie later meet a pilot named Indiana Jones.
The Sunset Limited: TV movie adaptation of a play by Cormac McCarthy wherein reformed murderer Jules saves Agent K from throwing himself in front of the title train and trying to theologically argue him away from suicide.
Superman: Don Vito Corleone of Krypton launches his infant son away from the dying planet, to grow up on Earth. The son grows up into Richard Collier, who has superhuman powers and can fly. Richard falls in love with newspaper reporter Gaia 2.0, and stops the evil Popeye Doyle and Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear from blowing up the West Coast.
Showtime TV movie version (where Sweeny is combined with Pirelli and Judge Turpin into a near-Complete Monster): Gandhi and Patsy have a profitable partnership, but it starts to unravel after Gandhi kills a rich merchant.
