Early 2010s

• A series of constitutional amendments in the U.S. abolish trial by jury and presumption of innocence, and restrict the length of criminal trials to a maximum of 3 days beginning the first full day after an arrest occurs. (Ace Attorney, English version)
• Mikado Ryugamine and a group of friends create the Dollars website. People begin committing crimes under the name of The Dollars, and Mikado posts the idea that the Dollars should be a "good gang" and do anonymous charity work. (Durarara!!)
• Several Blue Squares members are arrested, including Ran Izumii. The Blue Squares begin to dabble in drug dealing. This leads to the police and Shizuo Heiwajima disintegrating them. (Durarara!!)

2010

• January 21: Chidori Yoshino's powers save her from the coma she was in after saving Junpei Iori. (Persona 3)
• January 26: Takada, a suspect in the Kira investigation, is abducted by Mello, with the assistance of a close ally only known as Matt. All three perish. (Death Note)
• January 28: Light Yagami's seven-year killing spree of violent criminals ends. (Death Note, manga version)

• February: First case of White Chlorination Syndrome outside Japan, followed shortly by Legion appearances throughout Asia (NieR); during Mardi Gras in New Orleans, a woman is murdered by one of her boarders and the Enigma Corporation private security firm are contracted to bring the man to justice; after entering the condemned boarding house, they find that all of the people living there are acting strangely and violently; though they manage to extract their target, one of the agents is killed and the boarding house is demolished with the promise that a full explanation would be provided, which never happened, and none of the other residents were seen again. • May: Scott Pilgrim meets Ramona Flowers, and the two start dating. He becomes a target for the League of Evil Exes.^{Justification}Due to Comic-Book Time, it's unclear what year this is set in (it was originally published in 2005). • May 4: Arunmor stages an attack by Revelation upon itself, intending to get senior Andromeda staff arrested. The CEO of Andromeda is taken into police custody later that day. (Uplink)
• May 7: Andromeda trumps up charges of bank fraud against the CEO of Arunmor. (Uplink)
• May 9: Arunmor CEO is arrested for bank fraud, putting the future of Faith in jeopardy. (Uplink)
• May 11: Arunmor enlists Uplink's top hacker to steal Andromeda's top-secret research files on Revelation. (Uplink)
• May 15: Andromeda enlists Uplink's top hacker to obliterate all of Arunmor's research into Faith. (Uplink)
• May 26: Andromeda launches an assault on the entire Internet with Revelation 3.0. Arunmor responds with the most recent version of Faith. (Uplink)

  • A study group at Greendale Community College decides to switch subjects for the fall semester. Instead of continuing with Spanish, they decide to study Anthropology. (Community)
  • Haruhi seizes the Literature Club's classroom and forms the SOS Brigade with Kyon and Yuki, recruiting Mikuru and Itsuki soon thereafter. • June 19: Percy Jackson helps the goddess Juno cross the Little Tiber. He then joins Camp Jupiter, being accepted into the Fifth Corhort. (The Camp Half-Blood Series, The Heroes of Olympus)

• June: Research into the 6-12 Incident of 2003 culminates in the "Multiple Origin Theory," concluding that "the Dragon" and "the Giant" originated in another world. White Chlorination Syndrome is determined to be caused by alien particles from that world that cannot be destroyed by any means known to man. Research into these Maso particles leads to multiple scientific breakthroughs. (NieR)
• Early-to-mid 2010: Ethan Siegal goes on his first date with another man. Dorothy Keener receives Martian DNA. Head Alien II has Monkey Master kill Sal Walters and Daniel Jason Wilcox; ^more Sal survives thanks to Peter Paul transplanting Daniel's organs into her. . Jason Chesterfield's team are taken captive at the abandoned SEMME HQ. Jason, David Walkerton, and Joyce Brown race over and, after a confrontation with their possible future children, Jason kills Head Alien II. Amber O'Malley and Mike Warner move into an apartment together. Roz DeSanto moves in with Robin and her friends. (Walkyverse)

• July 27: The Future Gadget Laboratory creates the first time machine using a microwave, capable of sending text messages back in time. This device later became the basis for more advanced mental and physical time travel. (Steins;Gate)
• July: Haruhi creates the SOS Brigade logo. ^moreThis results in a classmate being sucked into an alternate dimension for several days, requiring that Kyon, Mikuru Asahina, Yuki Nagato, and Itsuki Koizumi rescue him. They modify the logo so as to close the dimensional portal. The SOS Brigade then travels to a remote island owned by Itsuki Koizumi's cousin. • August 1: Lisa Simpson's engagement to Hugh Parkfield falls apart shortly before their wedding. (The Simpsons)
• August 7: Iroha Inukai is born in Animal Town. (Wonderful Pretty Cure!)
• August 10: The Holy Britannian Empire begins conquering Japan with giant robots. (Code Geass)
• August 24-31: Haruhi Suzumiya sets out to do everything that she could possibly want to do over summer vacation in eight days. Each time she fails to do so, she forces the week to repeat itself until Kyon invites her over to his house to study. (Haruhi Suzumiya)
• August: Drug lord Raymond Solano conquers the nation of Venezuela, throwing the world into turmoil by seizing the nation's supply of oil. However, Solano made the mistake of angering a PMC ^moreby shooting the Player Character in the butt, which leads to his eventual downfall. (Mercenaries 2: World in Flames); the Enigma Corporation is contracted to investigate mysterious worker deaths at an oil outpost in Silver Rock, New Mexico, suspecting a gas leak as the cause; they soon find that something else entirely was responsible. • Summer: Kara Danvers does an internship at the Midvale newspaper. (Supergirl (2015))
• Early September: The Holy Britannian Empire finishes conquering Japan. It is renamed "Area 11" and all citizenry are stripped of their rights. (Code Geass)
• September 6: Luke Smith begins suffering from nightmares induced by the Nightmare Man. (The Sarah Jane Adventures)
• September 7: Walter White kills the members of a white supremacist gang using a remote-controlled machine gun. His former partner Jesse Pinkman is able to escape from slavery, and Walter White collapses a few moments before police arrive at the scene. (Breaking Bad)
• September 10: In the early hours of the morning, Luke Smith, Rani Chandra, and Clyde Langer fight a creature that feeds on nightmares. Luke departs for Oxford University with K-9 as company. (The Sarah Jane Adventures)

• Late 2010: Joyce Brown weds David Walkerton. ^more Their wedding is crashed and almost derailed by the original Head Alien, his mind placed in the body of Dorothy Keener. Bobby Walkerton returns from the dead just in time to save the day. The future children of SEMME agents are returned to their respective futures; Dorothy, having nothing left for her in the present, goes to the future with Bobby. ^{Justification} Jason refers to it as happening "the other week", but it must be at least nine months since the final battle against Head Alien II in order for Bobby to be alive again.   • Sydney Yus is elected congressional representative for California's 8th District, beating Robin DeSanto. Robin collaborates with Jake Manley on a plan to establish world peace, which involves her breaking up with Leslie Bean and recording a sex tape with Mike, which accidentally leaks. After recovering, she moves in with Amber O'Malley and Mike Warner. (Walkyverse)
• December 10: Noxus allows Ionia to rematch them and try to reclaim three of the territories they lost during the Noxian invasion. Ionia succeeds. The Ionian Boots of Lucidity are created in commemoration. (League of Legends)
• December 18: The world is rewritten so that Haruhi Suzumiya never attended North High School, among other changes. [[labelnote:more]]The world remains this way until December 20, at which point multiple trips through time occur that eventually return the world to the way it was moments after it first changes on the 18th. • December 24: Aya Brea was found in St. Thomas Cathedral, Manhattan, New York, in her bloodstained wedding dress, by Hyde Bohr. ^moreThis is the infamous "Time Zero", wherein Eve Brea, Aya's sister/clone, "overdived" (sent her own psyche) onto Aya's near-dying body as a last-ditch effort to save her. Autobots and Decepticons form a temporary truce to destroy the chaos bringer. Galvatron dies, but his spark endures deep within Unicron. • Various dangerous humans are dumped on another world and hunted by aliens for sport. (Predators)
• College freshman Andy Davis gives his old toys on to a young girl named Bonnie Anderson. (Toy Story 3)
• The ancient monsters known as the Greeed begin turning humans into monsters called Yummy with the intent of absorbing enough power to become the fated "Multi-King". • High school student Kengo Utahoshi receives a package from his late father; it contains the experimental Fourze Driver and 40 Astro Switches. (Kamen Rider Fourze)
• Leelu the narwhal is released back into the sea. A time travel "paradox-free" duplicate of Philip J. Fry had spent years taking care of that whale. Unable to live without her, Fry sails into the ocean. He would search for his whale until 2012. (Futurama)
• A geological base in the Arctic gets converted into Cyber-Slaves by long-dormant Cybermats. The Eleventh Doctor and Amy discover an army of Cybermen ready to be awakened. (Doctor Who: The Adventure Games)
• A train disaster in Pennsylvania is narrowly averted after an engineer leaves his train while in motion, causing it to run away. The train, containing hazardous chemicals, is brought under control by the quick thinking of two engineers who chase it down and attach their locomotive to the back of it before using the locomotive brakes to slow it sufficiently for a sharp curve. One of the engineers then manages to jump on board the train's lead engine to apply the brakes. (Unstoppable)
• Killer 7 deployed to eliminate Heaven Smiles. Yakumo resurfaces, but is stolen by Andrei Ulmeyda. Kenjiro Matsuoka becomes Kun Lan's herald. Japan is obliterated by missiles fired by an unknown party after talks aimed at saving the country break down. (killer7)
• Andrei Ulmeyda blows up a Stacy concert. He is infected with the Heaven Smile virus by the US army, and then killed by Coyote Smith. (killer7)
• A massive earthquake causes Los Angeles to sink, leading to San Angeles being built atop its ruins (Demolition Man)
• Love destroys the mastermind behind Labyrinth, Moebius, freeing many parallel worlds in progress. She also won her dance contest before resuming her life in Yotsuba Street. (Fresh Pretty Cure!)
• Tsubomi Hanasaki moves to Kibogahana after a traumatic emotional breakdown, only to be recruited by two fairies to become a Pretty Cure. Despite her later help, she's given the derogatory title "The Weakest Precure in History." (HeartCatch Pretty Cure!)
• The second Great Big Gathering: Tsubomi Hanasaki and Erika Kurumi team up with the previous four teams of Pretty Cure (With Love's team adding in an ex-Labyrinth member she befriended: Setsuna Higashi) to save Fairy Park. (Pretty Cure All Stars DX 2)

• This year is Doc Brown's original intended destination for traveling into the future. After Marty changes history in 1955, Doc settles on 2015 as his target, as 30 years is a "nice round number." (Back to the Future)
• Kevin Straker sets out to avenge the death of his friend, Dr. Jose, and retrieve the stolen Cyboplasm. (Street Fighter 2010) ^*From the Japanese version of the game, basis for the information contained in the Shadaloo C.R.I. website.
• According to a billboard, Forrest Blackwell's apartment complex/shopping mall in Bluebell National Park was planned to be completed in this year. • January 9: After a car wreck, a grease fire, and a rat infestation, area restaurant Bob's Burgers has its Grand Re-Re-Re-Opening. (Bob's Burgers)
• January 11: Flight HAL 18 crashes near Mt. Akakura in Japan, resulting in the deaths of 27 passengers and crew members (Remember11)
• January 31: Clara Woodcomb is born. (Chuck)
• January: Taylor Hebert triggers, gaining parahuman powers, as a result of bullies trapping her in a locker full of used tampons for several hours. (Worm)
• February 11: The Simurgh attacks Canberra. (Worm)
• March 1: LMFAO fall into comas after excessive party rocking. (Party Rock Anthem music video)
• March 2: Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO is released, and it turns everyone into dance zombies. (Party Rock Anthem music video)
• March 16: Homura Akemi wakes up in the hospital ^more at the start of each repetition of her time loop. (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)^{Justification}The show was first broadcast in Japan in 2011. The calendar in Homera's room shows that she wakes on Wednesday the 16th in a month with 31 days. The only month in 2011 that meets those conditions is March.

The Investigation Team deduces what kind of vehicle the kidnapper has been using, and Adachi recognizes the driver of said vehicle as ^{one of the suspects in Yamano's murder} (Taro Namatame, Yamano's lover). Ryotaro chases the vehicle, but the rain causes both cars to crash, injuring Ryotaro so badly he is hospitalized. Naoto recovers the driver's diary from his car, showing Nanako has already been thrown into the TV. (Persona 4)

Aya Brea partakes in this mission. ^moreOnce Aya finds Hyde, she is sucked into the "Doors of Zero", the gateway to Time Zero (which was December 24, 2010). She decimates Hyde there, and once she goes back to Time Zero, she was finally able to correct the mistake that almost destroyed the world, by offering Eve the opportunity to swap each other's psyches via "overdiving". • April 27: Chiaki Incident Day 1. ^moreSora Ikushima gets into an argument with her fellow Karate Club member Chiaki over personal matters. Asuka arrives in time and both head into labyrinth to find Sora fighting back against the Elder Greed; the Dread Golem, with her Karate skills. • April 28: Chiaki Incident Day 2. ^moreChiaki becomes absent from school, so Kou and Asuka investigate into her whereabouts. They find her in Morimiya Memorial Park, depressed and showing jealousy towards Sora. Kou tries to cheer her up, but her emotions get the better of her and Chiaki is drawn into an Eclipse. Sora arrives on the scene, and vowing to save her friend, she obtains her Soul Device; Valiant Arm. The three head into the labyrinth and find Chiaki transformed into the Glare Phantom as a result of her dark emotions, but they defeat the Elder Greed and return Chiaki back to her normal self. • May 7: God's App Incident Day 1. ^moreGenius hacker Yuuki Shinomiya creates the God's App for the Xiphone from the confines of his apartment. The students in Morimiya Academy gush over the new app because of its very accurate predictions. Kou's friend Ryouta Ibuki receives a jarring prediction from the app stating that he'll get involved in a traffic accident. Later that night, sure enough, Ryouta gets into a traffic accident while on his way home from a SPiKA concert, but escapes with only a sprained arm. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• May 8: God's App Incident Day 2. ^moreFollowing Ryouta's accident the night before, Kou, Asuka, and Sora investigate into the God's App to see if it has any connections to the Eclipse. With help from the Student Council President Mitsuki Hokuto, they were able to get information about the app's developer Yuuki, and they confront him in his apartment. They were able to confirm that he is the developer, but didn't find any conclusive evidence to link the app to the Eclipse. Later, they meet with Yuuki's older sister Aoi, who, after a friendly chat with the three, decided to download the app to see her little brother's accomplishment herself. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• May 9:
  • "5/9 Hack": Fsociety hacks E Corp's servers, encrypting all of their financial records and destroying all their backups, which causes a massive financial crisis in the US. (Mr. Robot)
  • God's App Incident Day 3. ^moreKou receives a phone call from Yuuki, who's worried about his sister not returning home from her work. He rejoins with Asuka, Sora, and Yuuki to investigate into her whereabouts. They eventually find Aoi's workplace, and discover that the only thing left from Aoi is her Xiphone, which had a jarring prediction from God's App. Suspicious, Asuka discovers an Eclipse gate, and the three head on inside to find Aoi being guarded by the Elder Greed; Haze Fairy. They defeat the Elder Greed and save Aoi, but then another Elder Greed appears and steals Aoi's soul from her body, leaving it behind as an empty shell. Determined to save his sister, Yuuki hacks into his own app to find that the data is corrupted from a malevolent source and tries to shut it down, but the app turns against him and goes into hiding. They get assistance from Kou's cousin and teacher Towa Kokonoe, who hacks into the database to pinpoint the location of the app's server provider in Nanahoshi Mall. The three students and Yuuki head over there to find an Eclipse gate, where Yuuki obtains his Soul Device; Cavalry Mace. The four head deeper into the labyrinth to find the app's true corrupter; an Elder Greed called the Astral Widow, who is also holding Aoi's soul captive. They manage to defeat the Elder Greed and free Aoi's soul, which is then returned to her body. Later, all traces of God's App have been wiped clean from the database. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• May 12: While Fsociety destroys their equipment and throws a party celebrating the success of the 5/9 hack, Elliot Alderson is arrested on minor hacking and dognapping charges. (Mr. Robot)
• May 17: The research vessel Atargatis goes silent near the Mariana Trench, and all contact with its crew of over 200 people is lost. ^moreThey were all eaten by mermaids. (Into the Drowning Deep)

After a late-night shift, Kou finds the delinquent gang harassing Rion Kugayama on her way home. He tries to save her and manages to get the upper hand on the delinquents for the time being with his Karate skills, but soon finds himself overwhelmed by the delinquents' unnatural strength. Shio Takahata shows up and scares the delinquents away with his mere presence, saving Kou and Rion from them. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• May 22: BLAZE Incident Day 2. ^moreKou and the others investigate the case of the BLAZE incidents and the delinquent's unusual strength. They pinpoint the location of BLAZE's hideout in a dance club in the Horaichou district, and begin asking questions about their leader. This catches the gang's attention which gets Kou's group in trouble, but Shio shows up once again to scare the gang away before they could do anything to them. Then, BLAZE's leader Akihiro arrives, and consumes a mysterious drug that grants him a malevolent power. He uses that power to open up an Eclipse gate and sends Shio inside. Kou's group enters the Eclipse to find Shio fighting the Elder Greed; Blade Rex with his bare hands, but without a Soul Device of his own, his blows are ineffective against it. Kou's group joins in and defeats the Blade Rex, saving Shio. Asuka then attempts to erase Shio's memory, but to her surprise, the spell doesn't work on him. Shio then leaves, vowing to set things straight with his former comrade Akihiro alone. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• May 23: BLAZE Incident Day 3. ^moreNews breaks about BLAZE members picking fights with the local Takahane Group. Worried that this might escalate into a full-blown turf war, Kou and Asuka return to the dance club during its inactive hours and begin searching for the drug BLAZE members use. They manage to find the drug stashed in an unguarded drawer named HEAT, and Asuka confirms it was made from Eclipse ingredients. Then, they're coerced by the Takahane Group's second in-command Gotou, who tries to pressure them into giving him the drug, but he is stopped by Mitsuki Hokuto before he could resort to force. Meanwhile, Shio gets himself beaten to a bloody pulp by Akihiro, who overpowers him with the strength provided by the drug. Kou's group interferes just in time to save Shio from getting beaten to death, and Shio collapses on the ground unconscious. Kou's group takes Shio to the Kokonoe Shrine for him to recover, and once he wakes up, he reveals to the group about BLAZE's true intentions. Akihiro plans to get revenge on their rival gang CHAOS for killing their previous leader and friend Kazuma a year and a half ago, and intends to use the HEAT drug to get an advantage on them. Determined to stop the gang war, Shio join's Kou's group and head over to the abandoned factory to confront BLAZE. Akihiro, in a show of display, overdoses himself with the drug to bring out his full strength, but ends up becoming a focal point of an Eclipse gate and gets himself kidnapped by the labyrinth's Elder Greed. Kou's group head on inside, where Shio finally obtains his Soul Device; Vorpal Weapon, and manage to track down Akihiro deeper in the labyrinth. Akihiro is being held captive by the Dark Delphinium, which turns out to be the true source of the drug ingredients. Kou, Shio, and the rest of the group defeat the Elder Greed and save Akihiro, and Shio later mends things with him by telling him to let go of the past. Akihiro is then detained by authorities and taken into juvenile detention, with the rest of his gang fleeing as a result. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• May: The alien invasion proves overwhelming, and the nations of Earth quickly surrender. After this "Great Accord," the ADVENT Administration is established to govern the planet on behalf of the victorious "Elders." XCOM is dissolved, its members killed, captured or driven into hiding. (XCOM 2)
• June 3: Mist Incident Day 1. ^moreMorimiya City becomes enveloped by a mysterious thick fog, followed by signs of evil laughter, sightings of a shadow hand, and stories of people suddenly vanishing without a trace. Asuka receives a tip about the situation from Yukino, which makes her question about bringing Kou along this time. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• June 4: Mist Incident Day 2. ^moreThe fog continues to get thicker as more people disappear by the hour. Kou and Asuka investigate into the disappearances and begin asking around for eyewitness accounts, briefly meeting with Mikuriya along the way. Then, they get a startling phone call from Mayu; the girl at the smith shop in Shopping Street, who tells them that something scary is happening there. Kou and Asuka head to Shopping Street pronto to find it mostly barren of people, and out of the fog, a giant demon hand swoops in and captures Mayu. Asuka decides to pursue the hand alone, and so, she deliberately traps Kou inside a barrier. She explains to him that the fog incident is being caused by a more powerful Grim Greed, which she feels is way out of his league and doesn't want him to get involved for his own safety. After declaring that, Asuka disappears into the fog alone. Kou desperately tries to break out of the barrier concerned for her safety, but a mysterious white-haired child hears his plea and breaks the barrier for him. Unsure of what happened, Kou meets up the rest of the Morimiya students who arrive for assistance, and they follow Asuka into an Eclipse gate. They find her battling the Malice Claw alone, and when she pursues it into the next room, another Malice Claw appears and attacks the students. The students barely manage to defeat it with a lot of effort, noting that it's much stronger than the other Elder Greeds before it. They continue into the next room to find that it's empty, and the only thing left from Asuka is her Soul Device planted on the floor. The people kidnapped by the hands are returned to Morimiya without much injury. (Tokyo Xanadu)
• June 5: Mist Incident Day 3. ^moreThe search for Asuka's whereabouts begins. Kou is joined along by Mitsuki Hokuto; the Student Council President who is also the heiress of the Hokuto Group, and a member of Zodiac with her own Soul Device; Mystic Node. After they get some info about Asuka's past and work from Yukino and Yamaoka, Kou and Mitsuki encounter a demon dog on the streets named the Abyss Hound, and follow it into the Eclipse gate thinking it will lead them to Asuka. They fight the dog deeper into the labyrinth, but before they could finish it off, the Abyss Hound attempts to escape, and Mitsuki places a tracking spell on it to see where it's headed. They follow the dog to another Eclipse labyrinth and are rejoined by the other Morimiya students. Inside, they find Asuka trapped in a birdcage and being guarded by the same Abyss Hound, but then another Elder Greed; Chaos Raven, swoops in and kills the demon dog. The students manage to fight it off for the time being to allow Kou to give Asuka her Soul Device back. After receiving it, Asuka breaks out of the cage and finishes the Chaos Raven off. Kou and the others are glad to see Asuka safe, but their reunion is cut short by a startling phone call from Shiori. The students return to Morimiya Academy to find it transformed into a castle by the Grim Greed, and they storm inside to confront the true culprit of the fog incident; the Mist Witch. After a long battle, Kou, Asuka, Mitsuki, and the others manage to successfully defeat the Grim Greed and save Shiori and the trapped students in the school, ending the thick fog around Morimiya. Kaneshiro blackmails the Thieves and Makoto, telling them to give him three million yen within three weeks. Morgana decides to bring Makoto along in the infiltration of Kaneshiro's Palace, as her status as a special customer means she can get past some of the barriers. Makoto awakens her Persona and joins the Phantom Thieves. (Persona 5)
• June: The town of Night Vale is nearly destroyed by the Good Boy (who might be Satan) and his army of Strangers. The Good Boy is killed (or at least, defeated) by Khoshekh the cat, and all the Strangers return to normal. (Welcome to Night Vale)
• June: A bizarre alien family called the Propulsions arrive in Boxwood Terrace, WA.^note The show premiered in 2016, and the Propulsions are stated to have arrived in summer in "Satellite Selfie". Morgana ends up breaking away from the team to target Okumura on his own and prove his worth, but he finds the Palace too difficult to handle on his own, forcing him to ally with Okumura's daughter Haru. • September 15: The Phantom Thieves go into Okumura's Palace and encounter Haru, initially mistaking her for the Black Mask before Morgana reveals she's his new partner. (Persona 5)
• September 16: The Phantom Thieves confront Haru, who refuses to ally with them because they have no plan and ignored Morgana's problems. (Persona 5)

  • Akechi reveals to the Phantom Thieves that he knows who they are and has been to the Metaverse himself, even encountering the black-masked individual responsible for the mental shutdowns and psychotic breakdowns. He blackmails the Thieves into working with him and promising to disband after the black-masked man is caught.^note Ren and Morgana realize the implications of the pancake comment: Akechi just lied about when he first entered the Metaverse.   • Sojiro finds the calling card delivered to Futaba and asks her about it. Futaba explains why she asked the Phantom Thieves to steal her heart, accidentally giving away that Ren is a thief himself. (Persona 5)
• October 27: A reward of thirty million yen is put out for information related to the capture of the Phantom Thieves. The Thieves themselves refirm their resolve. (Persona 5)

  • Dr. Maruki leaves Shujin Academy, though not before he tells Ren he knows he's a phantom thief. (Persona 5 Royal)
  • The Phantom Thieves make their final plans to change Sae's heart. (Persona 5)
• November 19: The Phantom Thieves go to change Sae's heart, but betrayal from one of their own gets Joker arrested. (Persona 5)
• November 20: Sae interrogates Joker, who gives her his phone for a purpose that will end up saving his life.^note Sae will give the phone to Akechi. The phone drags Akechi into the Metaverse so his attempt to kill Joker and make it look like a suicide only kills Sae's cognition of him. Futaba contacts Sae through the phone and tells her how to save Joker's life by faking his death. The SIU director, a major member of the conspiracy, is killed by a mental shutdown disguised as a stroke. (Persona 5)
• November 21: The Phantom Thieves bring Sae and Sojiro in on everything. Sojiro offers the use of Leblanc proper as a hideout. Futaba and Sojiro identify Shido as the mastermind, and the Phantom Thieves resolve to change his heart. (Persona 5)
• November 23/24: Shido visits Yongen-Jaya and campaigns for prime minister within earshot of Leblanc. Ren recognizes Shido as the man he was convicted of assaulting and uses that to figure out the keywords to his Palace. (Persona 5)

The Phantom Thieves decide to steal Mementos's Treasure to get the public to care about Shido's confession, even though this will lead to the destruction of Mementos and the loss of the ability to change hearts. • December 24:
  • The Phantom Thieves enter the Depths of Mementos and confront the Holy Grail, the embodiment of humanity's desire to be ruled.^note Joker also exposes the Grail as a false Igor and returns the true Igor to the Velvet Room. The Grail attempts to merge the material world and Mementos into the Qliphoth World, but by cutting the Grail off from humanity's desires and drawing on their support, Joker manages to destroy the Grail, undo the merger, and change humanity's heart.   • Sae asks Ren to testify about the Metaverse to ensure Shido's conviction, which would require turning himself in. Ren decides to do so. (Persona 5)
    • Goro Akechi offers to testify instead. Sae accepts this offer.^note This is only possible because Dr. Maruki awakened to his Persona in the Qliphoth World and both the defeat of Yaldabaoth the Holy Grail and the Phantom Thieves' wishes empowered his actualization to affect the whole world through Mementos, thus enabling him to save Akechi and otherwise alter the world.   • In what the press dubs "White Night," members of the Seventh Kavalry, a white supremacist group that wears Rorschach masks, launch coordinated attacks against all the known members of the Tulsa Police Department. (Watchmen (2019))
• Damien and Leito team up again to deal with rising tensions in District 13. (District 13: Ultimatum)
• A "Luciferase" vaccine is developed for White Chlorination Syndrome and administered to elite military forces. After a few victories against Legion berserkers, the soldiers form a "1st Crusade" that is ultimately wiped out. Further research indicates that younger patients are better suited for Luciferase, prompting the creation of the Hamelin Organization to recruit teenage soldiers. (NieR)
• America's "New Founding Fathers" designate the night of March 22nd - 23rd of each year as Purge night, during which all laws are suspended for 12 hours. Lyra Heartstrings and her lover Bon-Bon are taken back to Equestria by the Solar Empire's forces. A fixed trial is arranged, and Lyra is sentenced to death by petrification and shattering while Bon-Bon is forced to watch. Doctor Whooves and his family are able to save Bon-Bon but are too late to save Lyra. Bon-Bon is exposed to the Eye of Harmony, inducing a temporal stroke that leaves her with a case of chronological lobular desync disorder; this, combined with the trauma of witnessing Lyra's execution, has all but irreversibly damaged her mental state. Before it officially opens, however, a fire breaks out inside the attraction, with what little assets surviving (including a recently-discovered animatronic from the original restaurant's past) being sold at a public auction.
