Izuku Midoriya is a young teenager who lives in a superpowered society without a superpower of his own. Being bullied and ridiculed by everyone, his life changes when he meets his idol All Might, and the devil Samuel D. Sigurd. With their support, Izuku reignites his dream of becoming a hero.
- Ability Mixing: Izuku learns to combine his Boosted Gear with the magic from Kingdom Hearts and One for All to deliver new powerful attacks.
- Adaptation Species Change: Izuku in this story is not fully human as he has some dragon heritage, with Sammy saying it's not as diluted as his own.
- Almost Kiss: After a rocky reunion with Irina in Traverse Town, the two nearly kiss... only for Sora and Riku to ruin it.
- Berserk Button: Best way to make him enraged is to hurt someone he cares about, especially a girl he is in love with, especially Rias.

Samuel D. Sigurd

Samuel "Sammy" D. Sigurd is a Pawn of Sona Sitri.
- Animal Motifs: Dogs. He's often called a dog or mutt and occasionally spouts two dog-like ears on his head.
- Badass Israeli: Part of his family is from Israel.
- Bilingual Bonus: The name of Sammy's Quirk, Einei Ha'Caesar, means "eyes of the emperor".
- Chick Magnet: No matter the world, Sammy has the same kinda luck with girls Izuku does. Sona, Tsubaki, Yui, and Aqua, are all in love with him, while Houki, Cecilia, Tatenashi, Kanzashi, Charles/Charlotte, and Laura all develops feeling for him during his stay at IS Academy.
- Combat Clairvoyance: One of his Quirk's abilities is to see up to six seconds into the future when he's in danger.
- Composite Character: He takes Saji's role as Sona's male Pawn who has feelings for their master. He also takes Ichika's role as the male lead in the Infinite Stratos side of the crossover, though it's more of a decomposite role given Ichika's spirit still hangs around him.
- Decomposite Character: He's the one Tsubaki's in love with, not Kiba.
- Divine Parentage: Well, more like Divine Grandparentage. His paternal grandfather is Zeus... which explains a lot.
- The Gadfly: His main form of communication is quips and sarcasm and he loves getting under people's skin, especially Ravel.
- The Gambler: He loves gambling, and always wins thanks to his Quirk. Heck, his suggestion for his class's event during IS Academy's culture festival is a casino. He still lost to Luxord, though.
- God of the Dead: Not Sammy himself, but the spirit in his Sacred Gear: Xolotl, the dog-headed god of fire who guided the dead to their resting place and Quetzalcoatl's twin.
- Gratuitous Foreign Language: He's prone to speaking in Hebrew, here and then.
- I'm a Humanitarian: He apparently once ate a fallen angel, to Rias' horror.
- Meaningful Name: His chosen hero name, Zeref, not only references his friendship with Gabriel (who's a Seraph who are associated with fire), but it's also a Shout-Out to the Fairy Tail character of the same name, who also has a tragic backstory and a potential Walking Wasteland.
- My God, What Have I Done?: When he learns that Sacred Gears from the IS world can corrupt the minds of their users, with Weeping Helena being the worst, he realizes to his horror that his recent treatment of Ichika actively made him more receptive to Weeping Helena's control.
- Nice Guy:
- Every time he visits the ORC, he tries to talk to Gasper, with little success.
- He also finishes all the food Sona, and later Cecilia, make despite both being lethal chefs, because he doesn't want to hurt their feelings.
- The Nose Knows: He has a sharp sense of smell. This allows him to see through Charlotte's Sweet Polly Oliver act right away.
- Official Couple: By the time he starts attending U.A., Sammy is dating Yui, Sona, Tsubaki, Aqua, Naminé, Houki, Laura, Cecilia, Charlotte, Kanzashi and Tatenashi, Maya, and Nejire (Maya is a bit shy on the whole thing).
- Paralyzing Fear of Sexuality: Played for Drama. He was a victim of the Twilight Killer, and he still bears the mental scars to this day.
- Positive Friend Influence/Toxic Friend Influence: Bizarrely, he's both with Izuku.
- Power at a Price: Due to being too exhausted after dealing with Rin's Heartless and everyone else but Tatenashi being in no condition to fight, Xolotl makes an offer to Sammy that's similar to Ddraig's deal with Issei in Volume 2/Season 1, temporally gaining power and an imperfect Balance Breaker at the cost of Sammy's right hand.
- Playing with Fire: He can create and control black flames by virtue of his Sacred Gear.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivers one to Shinso during the Sports Festival after Tabane takes over.
- Revenge Before Reason: He's more than willing to kill Rin after she brutally maimed Houki, Cecilia, and Kanzashi, consequences be dammed. Laura managed to talk him out of it by explaining all the potential consequences.
- Trapped in Another World: His dream self is in the Realm of Darkness with Aqua, Kairi and KH!Laura. His real self ends up getting sent to the world of Infinite Stratos in Chapter 18.
- Your Soul Is Mine!: Thanks to his Sacred Gear, Sammy can devour the souls of his opponents if he chooses to. He's planning to do this to Nighteye and Mirio, and does so to several unfortunate Phantom Task members.
- Winds of Destiny, Change!: His Quirk's main power, he can control the probability of things that occur in his line of sight. He uses it to win at gambling.
Gremory Peerage
Rias Gremory
Species: Pure-Blooded Devil
Rias Gremory is the president of the Occult Research Club and the heir to the House of Gremory. She eventually reincarnates Izuku as her servant with eight Pawn pieces. After that, an interesting relationship blossoms between the two.
- Arranged Marriage: She's arranged to marry Riser Phenex, a fate she wants to avoid. Part of the reason Sammy even sought Izuku out was to get Rias the power needed to beat Riser.
- The Big Damn Kiss: She kisses Izuku on the lips after he beats Riser in Chapter 36.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Is very possessive of Izuku and does not like it when she has competition, be it Selena, Mirko, or Sammy.
- The Tease: Can't resist getting a reaction out of Izuku.
- Secret-Keeper: Izuku tells her about One for All after the Entrance Exams.
- Violently Protective Girlfriend: Even before she becomes his girlfriend, Rias is quite protective of Izuku, saying to herself that if Riser were to do anything to him, he'll die.
Momo Yaoyorozu/Akeno Himejima
Role: Queen
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class
Momo Yaoyorozu (born as Akeno Himejima) is Rias's Queen, confidante, subordinate, and fellow member of the Occult Research Club.
- The Ace: Not only she recognized as one of the most powerful devils from Gremory peerage, she is also the highest scoring student of the U.A. Recommendation Exams.
- Adaptational Dye-Job: Her eyes can change dark onyx to amethyst purple, much like Akeno's.
- Composite Character: Momo takes Akeno's place as Rias' Queen, her powers of lightning, miko battle attire, and BDSM tendencies. Hell, she even had Akeno's name before she changed it after being adopted.
- Happily Adopted: It's revealed that she's adopted, suggesting "Yaoyorozu" isn't her original family name. This is confirmed in Chapter 34, where Momo tells Izuku her original name: Akeno Himejima.
Yuuto Kiba
Sacred Gear: Sword Birth
Role: Knight
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
Rias' Knight and the school prince of Kuoh Academy.
- Adaptational Superpower Change: In addition to his Sacred Gear, Yuuto also has a Quirk that allows him to cancel out the friction of whatever his feet feel or touch.
Koneko Toujou
Species: Nekomata (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
Aloof and quiet, Koneko is the youngest member of Rias' Peerage, but that doesn't keep her from actually being the strongest.
- Animal Motifs: Cats. She's aloof and only gets affectionate with those she considers worthy of it, her familiar is a cat, wears a pair of cat-shaped hair decorators, and likes being patted on the head.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Technically, as the youngest and smallest of the ORC.
- Badass Adorable: She's tiny and cute - but cross her and she will kick your ass.
- The Nose Knows: Due to being a Nekomata, she has a sharp sense of smell. This allows her to pick up the fact that Izuku now has a Quirk.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She is the ORC's strongest member in terms of physical power.
Ibara Shiozaki
Sacred Gear: Twilight Healing
Role: Bishop
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-B Hero Class
A former nun and Holy Maiden that was excommunicated for healing a devil, fate brought her to Musutafu, where she meets Izuku.
- Composite Character: Ibara combines her canon self with Asia Argento's background and Sacred Gear.
- Covert Pervert: Has a nosebleed at the thought of Sammy and Izuku getting it on.
- Eating the Eye Candy: She really enjoys seeing Izuku shirtless.
- The Ghost: Has been mentioned but has yet to make an official appearance yet.
Xenovia Quarta
Role: Knight
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class
Xenovia is a girl who works as an exorcist for the Roman Catholic Church as Irina's partner. Later, after being abandoned by the Church due to her association with devils, she becomes Rias' second knight after Irina 'kills' her.
- Composite Character: With Ochako Uraraka, given that Xenovia has her Quirk.
- Covert Pervert: Has a nosebleed at the thought of Sammy and Izuku getting it on.
- Everyone Has Standards: She may have been trying to kill Izuku and hates devils in general, but Xenovia is appalled that Xigbar, after promising Izuku to tell where Sammy is if he were to grovel on the ground and begged, instead tried to shoot him.
- Fire-Forged Friends: While originally trying to kill each other, her and Izuku working together to fight off Xigbar forms the foundation of their friendship.
- Gravity Master: Her Quirk lets her remove an object's gravity, although overdoing it can cause her to puke, especially if she uses her Quirk on herself.
- You Are Too Late: Arrives too late to save Irina from begin taken by Maleficent.
Sitri Peerage
Sona Sitri
Species: Pure-Blooded Devil
The heiress to the Sitri Clan, she's Rias's childhood friend and Sammy's master, whom she has feelings for.
- Childhood Friend: She's Rias' oldest friend.
- Lethal Chef: Like in canon. Sammy still eats it, though, not wanting to hurt her feelings... no matter how close to death her cooking brings him.
Tsubaki Shinra
Sona's Queen and a descendant of the Shinra clan, who exiled her from the clan because of her abnormal powers.
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In DxD canon, she develops a strong crush on Kiba. Here, she has feelings for Sammy.
- The Exile: She's exiled from her clan because of her Sacred Gear.
- Gamer Chick: She has a gaming channel that she runs with Sammy.
- Love Epiphany: Has hers on her thirteenth birthday when she saw Sammy's gift for her: He burned the Shinra clan's compound to the ground because they exiled her.
- Secret-Keeper: She's the only one aside from Rias and Izuku to know about Momo's past with the Himejima clan.
Selena D. Sigurd
Sacred Gear: Feathered Gift

Sammy's sister and fellow Devil servant of Sona.
- Animal Motifs: Snakes. Is usually referred to by others as a snake.
- Bilingual Bonus: The name of Selena's Quirk, Einei Ha'Kohenet, means "eyes of the priestess".
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She presents herself as a cool big sis and acts very sweet to Izuku, but she's a manipulative, selfish, and almost sociopathic person with little to no regard for the emotions of others.
- Blow You Away: She can control wind thanks to her Sacred Gear.
- Divine Parentage: Well, more like Divine Grandparentage. Like Sammy, her paternal grandfather is Zeus.
- The Empath: Her Quirk allows her to see and manipulate the emotions of those in her line of sight.
- Feathered Serpent: Not Selena herself, but the spirit in her Sacred Gear: Quetzalcoatl, Xolotl's twin.
- Hypocrite: Thinks Kairi has no right in dictating her adoptive brother Izuku's love life. Thinks nothing of the fact that she's been manipulating her brother's love life.
- Knight Templar Big Brother: Sister in this case. When Sammy's only friend ended up turning on him, Selena tore his eye out. When she learns how Chifuyu attacked Sammy, she gives the teacher a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.
- Ship Tease: Has plenty with Izuku.
- The Tease: She LOVES to tease Izuku whenever she can.
Yui Kodai
Sacred Gear: Twisted Flower
Role: Rook
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-B Hero Class
A stone-faced girl who has a crush on Sammy. She's killed by Mirio under Nighteye's orders and is reincarnated as Sona's Rook. Her Quirk, "Size", allows her to increase and decrease the size of any non-living objects she touches.
- Canon Foreigner: Not her, but her Sacred Gear. Chapter 65 of A Fragmatary Stratos reveals that Twisted Flower is from Slumbering Stratos, the IS world.
- Covert Pervert: She doesn't have a filter, especially after she's reincarnated.
- Harem Seeker: She openly (and by that, it means on her mind) calls Sammy's harem, her harem, very excited over dating so many cute girls.
- Lethal Chef: One meal she cooked left Sammy bedridden for a week. Unlike most examples, though, she learns from this... and promptly lets Sammy cook for her from then on.
- Making a Splash: Has a water element Sacred Gear. Fittingly, it resembles a trident.
- Odd Friendship: With Ravel.
- Taking the Bullet: She gets stabbed by Togata's light sword for Sammy. Thankfully she is resurrected.
Aqua
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
A Keyblade Master who has been trapped in the Realm of Darkness for 10 years. After escaping, she becomes Sona's Bishop and later becomes the sub-homeroom teacher of Class 1-A, as an assistant to Bubble Girl.
- Accidental Marriage: Ends up locking herself and Sammy in a marriage contract after jokingly offering to marry him if he gets her out of the Realm of Darkness.
- Trapped in Another World: Like canon, she's trapped in the Realm of Darkness, but she at least has some companionship in the form of Sammy, Kairi, and Laura.
Charlotte Dunois
Role: Bishop
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-B Hero Class
The representative from France and the only other male in the world that can pilot an IS... or at least so it seemed at first. Charles is actually a girl named Charlotte who was sent to spy on Sammy by her father.
- Adaptational Badass: She has a Sacred Gear, called the Flower of Ashkelon, a holy spear in the shape of a flag pole.
- The Dragonslayer: Her Sacred Gear is apparently one. Fittingly, it's implied that it was originally the spear used by Saint George.
- Heroic Bastard: She is the illegitimate daughter of the owner of France's leading IS manufacturer.
- Property of Love: In a sense. After she explains her backstory to Sammy, he declares that she belongs to him, declaring that if her father or someone else dares to so much a touch her, they'll answer to him. Charlotte falls in love on the spot.
Laura Bodewig
Role: Rook
Species: Human (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class
Germany's representative and Captain of its military IS corps Schwarzer Hase ("Black Hares"). She's somehow aware of Sammy.
- Adaptational Badass: Thanks to having one of the Seven Destinies, Tyrant's Hoard.
- Muscles Are Meaningless: She's quite petite, but can benchpress two and a half tons with ease.
- Not So Above It All: Can pull off a convincing All Might impression, having learned from observing Sammy and Izuku.
- Revenge Before Reason: Managed to talk Sammy out of this, pointing out the potential consequences if he were to kill Rin, the Chinese Representative.
- Secret-Keeper: She knows about both One for All and All Might's injury.
- Trapped in Another World: Her dream self somehow ended up in the Realm of Darkness, meeting KH!Sammy, Aqua, and Kairi.
Naminé (Midoriya)
Species: Nobody (formerly)/Reincarnated Devil
U.A. Class Status: 1-C General Studies Class
A soft-spoken girl who likes to draw. She's a witch with the power to alter memories, which was exploited by Organization XIII to manipulate Sora. She was rescued by Sammy and is, as a result, rather attached to him.
- Dude Magnet: When Izuku goes to pick her up for lunch, he finds her being besieged by all the guys in her class.
- Happily Adopted: She is technically this, as she isn't a Midoriya by birth, even if she modifies everyone's memories to make them think that she is one.
- Hypocrisy Nod: She thinks that all of her classmates that are complaining about the Entrance Exam being rigged are weak. She also acknowledges that she doesn't have much right to think of them that way, when she knows she was also weak and that shedding that is always tough.
- Rescue Romance: Sammy saves her from Marluxia and the Organization, something that clearly contributed to her feelings for him.
Destiny Islands
Sora
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class
A bright and spirited boy from Destiny Islands who wishes to travel to other worlds along with his friends Riku, Kairi, and Izuku.
- Audio Erotica: Downplayed, but when his voice starts to break, Tinkerbell really likes how it sounds.
- Covert Pervert: He has spasms when he realizes there are two Kairis running around.
- Everyone Can See It: He and Kairi having feelings for each other is a secret to no one but him. He does eventually wake up to them and they become a couple.
Riku
Sora's best friend and rival.
- Adaptational Heroism: While he does work for Maleficent for a short while like in canon, Izuku's presence manages to get him to leave and work with Sora MUCH earlier than canon.
- Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Riku only gives in to the darkness after Ansem forces him to watch his friends die again and again while claiming that only darkness will help him save them, and even then, it takes a lot of time.
Kairi Midoriya
U.A. Class Status: 1-B Hero Class
A close friend of Sora and Riku's who came to Destiny Islands from Radiant Garden and sparked their interest in other worlds. She's Izuku's younger sister and one of the Princesses of Heart, meaning she bears no darkness in her heart.
- Adaptational Badass: Learns to fight much earlier than in canon, and is strong enough to keep Sora on the backfoot during their fight in Traverse Town.
- Happily Adopted: Twice over - first by her parents in the Destiny Islands, and after that by Inko Midoriya.
- My Brother Is Off Limits: Downplayed, but Kairi is really unamused when she sees both Rias and Irina treat Izuku like a Property of Love and give him a Lover Tug of War and does not hesitate for a single second in giving Rumi her version of a shovel talk one chapter later. The Downplayed part comes from the fact that her main objection seems to be in people seemingly objectifying Izuku, as she's a lot more easygoing towards Nejire when the older girl seemingly treats Izuku with more respect (stating that of course she understands when Izuku mumbles, she would be a bad Sempai if she did not).
- Trapped in Another World: After the Destiny Islands fall to Darkness, she ends up in the Realm of Darkness with Aqua, Sammy, and later Laura.
Disney Town
King Mickey Mouse
The King of Disney Castle, and a Keyblade Master, Mickey Mouse is one of the first to notice how much danger the worlds are in and one of the first to take action. When he leaves on a journey and doesn't come back, Donald and Goofy set out to find him.
- The Ghost: Has been mentioned but has yet to appear physically. He finally appears in Chapter 61 of A Fragmentary Stratos.
Donald Duck
A fiery-tempered magician and a member of King Mickey's court at Disney Castle, Donald Duck was sent to find and follow the Keyblade bearer.
- Alien Non-Interference Clause: He uses his magic to invoke this, to help protect the world order. He cites this as a reason why they shouldn't take Alice with them, even though Wonderland isn't her original world. He relents when Goofy points out why it may be a good idea to bring Alice with them. He seems to have dropped this by Chapter 74, being willing to go straight to U.A. to help Izuku, Sora, and the others when Tabane hijacks the Sports Festival.
- Defrosting Ice King: At first, Donald only cared about Sora and Izuku being a way to track down King Mickey and rarely cared about them saving their friends and is quite rude to them. Eventually, though, he soon realizes his mistake and starts to care for Sora and Izuku as friends. He can still be petty, though, as evident in that he doesn't cast a spell on Sora, Riku, and Izuku that would make traveling between worlds easier on them.
Goofy
The mild-mannered yet loyal Captain of the Royal Knights at Disney Castle, Goofy was sent to find and follow the Keyblade bearer.
- Dog Faces: He's a humanoid dog.
- Dork Knight: He's a bit slow on the uptake, earnest to a fault, and quite literally a knight by profession.
- Dumbass Has a Point: He points out to Donald that it may be a good idea to take Alice with them, both because she's a Princess of Heart and thus a target, but also because the world they found her in, Wonderland, isn't her original world and is very dangerous, pointing out he wouldn't dare leave his son Max, or Donald's nephews, there.
Slumbering Stratos
Chifuyu Orimura
A woman whom Sammy meets not long after arriving in the IS world. Later becomes the homeroom teacher of Class 1-B, replacing Vlad King.
- Adaptational Badass: She was already a badass in canon, but here, thanks to Sammy's knowledge and advice, she discovers she has a Sacred Gear, Cross Blaze Blade of the Seven Destinies, the IS World's equivalent to the Longinus.
- Alternate Self: Not her, but her Sacred Gear, Cross Blaze Blade, is one to DxD's Incinerate Anthem.
- Does Not Know Her Own Strength: Her strength increases a great deal after she awakens her Sacred Gear, evident in how she accidentally punches a hole in the gut of a particularly nasty investor trying to evacuate IS Academy during the rampage of Rin's Heartless.
- Drowning My Sorrows: She starts drinking to cope with Ichika's death.
- Not So Above It All: After she fully materializes her Sacred Gear, she decides to get back at Sammy for being an ass by chasing him around with it.
- Retired Badass: While she's teaching now, that doesn't make her any less capable of a fighter and her presence still commands awe and respect from everyone around her.
- Stern Teacher: Was one in the Fragmentary Stratos world, and becomes one as well for U.A., replacing Vlad King as 1-B's homeroom teacher.
Ichika Orimura
Species: Human (deceased)/Spirit
Chifuyu's younger brother... who quickly dies because of the Stray Devil that came with Sammy.
- Adaptational Badass: It's implied that he has one of the Seven Destinies. Later confirmed in Chapter 59 of the Side Story to be Weeping Helena.
- Death by Adaptation: He dies in the first chapter, killed by a Stray Devil. He's still around, kinda, just as a spooky spirit who can only be seen and heard by Sammy and follows him around.
- Our Ghosts Are Different: He cannot be seen or heard by anyone except for Sammy, X, and Maya and he can't interact with his surroundings in any way. That changes when he awakens his Sacred Gear, which allows him to take on a corporal form whenever he wants.
- Say My Name: Cries out Rin's name when she disappears after her Heart is consumed by Darkness.
- Uncertain Doom: It's unknown what happened to him after the fall of Slumbering Stratos.
- With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: It's eventually revealed that Weeping Helena actively seeks to take control of its user, turning them into nothing more than an empty puppet for it to control. Sammy is understandably horrified upon learning this, given his treatment of Ichika lately likely sped up the process.
Houki Shinonono
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class

Also, Houki is quite tall and busty while Rin is short and flat.

Species: Pure-Blooded Devil
Ravel Phenex is the only daughter in the Phenex family who serves in her brother Riser's peerage as his Bishop. After, uh, dealing with Riser's attitude for a little too long, she decides to take a break by studying in the human world and enrolls in Kuoh middle school, meeting Izuku whom she quickly develops a crush on.
- Brain Bleach: What she requests when she finds her brother having sex in her bed.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: She didn't like it when Nejire suddenly takes Izuku away for a date. Same when she learned that Selena went on a date with him earlier.
- Entertainingly Wrong: When she eventually learns that Sammy knows Izuku, she concludes that Sammy befriended Izuku so he could recruit him and steal him away, Ravel having already decided to make Izuku her servant... unaware that Izuku is already Rias' Pawn. When she learns the truth in Chapter 31, she doesn't take it well.
- Exact Words: During the planning phase for the Rating Game, she states that her plan for the fight with Rias' Peerage will guarantee the best outcome. Of course, she never mentions who the best outcome would really benefit.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: A young, pretty and well-mannered Ojou... as long as someone doesn't piss her off.
- Heel–Face Turn: Granted, she wasn't much of a Heel to begin with, but she deliberately sabotages her brother during the Rating Game against Rias so she can apologize to Izuku.

- Dramatically Missing the Point: When a crying Ravel explains her addition to the terms of the Rating Game, Riser believes that her having Izuku would keep Rias and Sammy compliant, and even congratulates her for it. Ravel promptly runs off crying.
- Entitled Bastard: He not only feels entitled to having Rias as his Trophy Wife, he thinks it's a given to have his sister do all the work for the wedding.

- Almost Kiss: After a rocky reunion with Izuku in Traverse Town, the two nearly kiss... only for Sora and Riku to ruin it. She eventually manages to get her kiss with Izuku.
- Childhood Friend Romance: She is in love with her childhood friend Izuku. The two even had a Childhood Marriage Promise.
- Covert Pervert: Downplayed currently, but she thanked the Lord when she learns that there are two Izukus. She also has a nosebleed upon seeing Izuku's outfit in Halloween Town.
- Damsel in Distress: Is briefly kidnapped by Maleficent due to being a Princess of Light, but manages to escape and ends up in Traverse Town.

Saiko and Reiko Yanagi
The current hosts of the Vanishing Dragon, Albion, who is associated with the Grigori. Through unknown circumstances, the White Dragon Empress is actually a pair of sisters that fuse into one body when they transform into their armored form. They are also a pair of perverts.

- Affectionate Nickname: They refer to Izuku as "my/our other half".

One of Japan's Top Ten Heroes. An aggressive young woman, she's a powerful pro who prefers to work alone. Her Quirk, "Rabbit", grants her the attributes and abilities of a rabbit, namely incredible leg strength.
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Appears much earlier than in canon.
- Age-Gap Romance: She falls for Izuku, who is at least 10 years younger than her.
- Big Damn Heroes: She arrives to help save Inko from the assassins Nighteye sent.
- Blood Knight: Her idea of blowing off steam is to beat people up in Kamurocho.
- Changing Yourself for Love: She tells Izuku she'd be willing to become one of Rias' pieces if that meant being able to spend forever with Izuku.

- Cool Uncle: To his nephew, Randy Cunningham.
Tatsuma Ryuko — Ryukyu
One of Japan's Top Ten Heroes and Nejire's mentor.
- Adaptation Species Change: Chapter 30 reveals that she's a dragon.
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Ryukyu appears before the Entrance Exam.
Yu Takeyama — Mt. Lady
Species: Human
A hero who recently joined the business, Mount Lady is nice yet fame hungry. Her Quirk allows her to change to the size of a giant and back, but no in-between. Despite her craving for attention, she is a genuinely good person who tries her hardest to save people and feels bad when she can't.
- Attention Whore: She seeks to catch attention from the public.
Shinji Nishiya — Kamui Woods
Species: Human
Kamui Woods is a fairly recent hero with a very strict moral code. He looks to save people and punish people who do wrong but is a bit too serious about it. His Quirk changes his skin to wood that can stretch into large branches he can control.
Death Arms
Species: Human
Death Arms is a hero with a fairly short temper. He does try to save people but mostly for recognition. He is also stubborn to a fault, not liking to admit when he is wrong. His Quirk gives him basic super strength, which often causes him to brute strength a situation rather than use his brain.
- Adaptational Jerkass: To the point of it bordering on Adaptational Villainy. Ever since Sammy called him out on how he and the other pros did nothing while Bakugo was dying, humiliating him on live television, Death Arms has had it out for him. He tries to arrest Sammy whenever the two meet, even if Sammy is bleeding out, and he actually attempts to get him killed during the convention center fire.
- Malicious Misnaming: Sammy calls him "Dumb Arms".
Enji Todoroki — Endeavor
Species: Human
The #2 Hero in Japan and Shoto's father.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Endeavor doesn't present himself with his early cold-heart jackass attitude, where he couldn't even stand look at All Might without seething with rage. Here the two have a friendly relationship, even bantering over which one has the best apprentice. It is also all but confirmed that he is not abusive towards his family.
U.A. High School

Toshinori Yagi — All Might
Japan's Greatest Hero, the Symbol of Peace, and Izuku's lifelong idol. His true identity is Toshinori Yagi, which only a select few people know. Years before the main story, Toshinori suffered an injury that took out most of his internal organs. As a result, he's slowly being unable to continue as a Hero, and as such he's begun to look for a successor, choosing both Izuku and Sammy.
"One for All", the Quirk he inherited, allows him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing him to significantly enhance all of his physical abilities to a superhuman level. This results in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, agility, and durability that make All Might nearly invincible.
- Adaptational Badass: It's stated that, in his prime, All Might was as powerful as the Satans.
- Broken Ace: He's Japan's Number One Hero, but five years ago he suffered an injury that severely restrains his ability to be a hero. He is currently seeking a successor that can take the mantle of One for All, choosing Izuku to inherit the Quirk.
- Character Catchphrase: "I AM HERE!"
- The Dreaded: Devils rightly fear him coming down upon them given he's as powerful as the Satans.
- Fantastic Racism: At first, due to Nighteye's influence, he did not trust devils, believing them to be evil. It wasn't until meeting Sammy that he dropped this, to the point he still intends on giving Izuku One for All even after the latter has been reincarnated into a devil.
Kaoruko Awata — Bubble Girl
Sir Nighteye's former sidekick. Her Quirk, "Bubble", allows her to create bubbles with an assortment of smells and pop them with explosive force. After learning of Nighteye's true colors, she becomes All Might's sidekick. She later becomes the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A, replacing Aizawa.
- Adaptational Badass: Becomes this after developing her Stand, to the point that Togata can't so much as touch her during a confrontation.
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Appears much earlier than in canon.
- Adaptational Modesty: When she starts teaching, she switches her canon revealing costume for one that resembles a sailor's uniform.
- Ascended Extra: From a side character in the Internship Arc to All Might's sidekick and 1-A's homeroom teacher.
- Disappointed by the Motive: When she learns about One for All by accident from Nighteye, she isn't impressed that the whole reason why he tried to kill Izuku and had Mirio try to kill Sammy is because he wants Mirio to be a replacement All Might."That's it?"
- Only Sane Man: The only person at Nighteye's agency that seemingly thought of actually investigating crimes (as they're supposed to).

Nezu
A rare example of an animal possessing a Quirk, Nezu's intelligence eventually allowed him to become the principal of U.A. His Quirk is "High Specs", which grants him Super-Intelligence.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: He mixes in body features from several mammals, resulting in a creature whose actual species is a mystery.
Nemuri Kayama — Midnight
Species: Human
An S&M-themed pro heroine. She refs the U.A. Sports Festival and teaches Modern Hero Art History. Her Quirk is "Somnambulist", which allows her to release a sleep-inducing fragrance from her body.
- Action Girl: As a professional hero and a member of U.A.'s staff, Midnight is a very qualified hero whose entire job is to kick villain butt and protect the peace.
- Heroic BSoD: Downplayed, but upon learning that the reason Sammy and Luara had panic attacks upon seeing her is due to her resemblance to the Twilight Killer, Midnight takes several days off from school.
- Identical Stranger: She's a dead ringer to the Twilight Killer, so much so that Sammy and Laura have panic attacks upon seeing her.
Sekijiro Kan — Vlad King
Species: Human
The (former) homeroom teacher of Class 1-B. His Quirk is "Blood Control", which allows him to control blood.
- Demoted to Extra: Even more so than canon. He's replaced by Chifuyu as 1-B's teacher at All Might's suggestion, not because he's as bad as Aizawa (Vlad is the total opposite), but because Vlad has a tendency to let rivalries between 1-A and 1-B fester for too long.
Shota Aizawa — Eraserhead
Species: Human
The "Underground" Erasing Hero and (former) homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. While he may be generally apathetic and lazy about things that do not interest him, he has an eye for talent and ingenuity while having zero patience for any student that (in his opinion) doesn't take U.A. seriously. His Quirk, "Erasure", allows him to nullify others' control over their Quirks just by looking at them. Blinking dispels the effect of his Quirk and using it gives him dry eyes.
- Demoted to Extra: He's replaced by Bubble Girl as 1-A's teacher at All Might's suggestion, due to being a Lazy Bum, his absurd "rationality", and his track record of having expelled hundreds of students.
- Everyone Has Standards: Aizawa may be a Lazy Bum who expels students at the drop of a hat, but he's horrified upon learning that Sammy is the last of the Twilight Killer's victims, calling what happened a tragedy.
- Insane Troll Logic: When Kendo asks Chifuyu for some help with training, he states Kendo won't grow if Chifuyu coddles her students like that. Chifuyu immediately points out the lack of logic in his argument.
Class 1-A
Yuuga Aoyama
Vain, flamboyant, and extremely eccentric, Aoyama is a student of French ancestry whose Quirk, "Navel Laser", allows him to fire powerful laser beams from his belly button. However, continuous use of this Quirk is liable to damage his insides.
- Agent Peacock: He loves to pose and is prone to flamboyant behavior.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Acts flamboyantly and strangely.
Mina Ashido
Behind an alien-like appearance lies an emotional and excitable girl who can produce corrosive liquid through her skin thanks to her Quirk, "Acid": she can manipulate the pH and viscosity of the fluid, but going too far can damage her skin.
- Acid Attack: Her Quirk. She can control the pH and viscosity of the fluid she secretes from her skin, meaning it can be highly acidic and thick or barely acidic and slippery.
- Adaptational Early Appearance: She meets Izuku long before the Entrance Exam.
- Amazing Technicolor Population: Her skin is bright pink as a result of acid buildup.
- Cute Monster Girl: An attractive, female humanoid... something.
- Genki Girl: She's cheerful and emotional.
Tsuyu Asui
A young girl whose strange appearance is caused by her Quirk, "Frog", which allows her to do pretty much anything a frog can, including jump quite long distances, swim with extreme agility, and extend her tongue like a flexible steel cable.
- Brutal Honesty: She herself has said that she has a hard time expressing herself, so she tends to be blunt to circumvent that.
- Cute Monster Girl: She's a frog and she's adorable.
Tenya Iida
The scion of the Iida family of Heroes, he's incredibly uptight and has the highest expectations for himself and his peers. His Quirk, "Engine", gives him literal engines in his legs that grant him Super-Speed.
- The Comically Serious: As in canon so is he here. Though sometimes his over-seriousness does come off as grating rather than comedic.
Eijiro Kirishima
Class 1-A's friendliest and most Hot-Blooded member, he is always working to become 'manlier' and a better hero. His Quirk, "Hardening", allows him to make his body more resistant to any type of attack.
- Boring, but Practical: His Quirk just makes his skin incredibly hard and resistant, but given that Hero, fights tend to get close and personal, it is useful.
- Fiery Redhead: A redhead who is one of the most excitable members of the class. Though his hair is dyed.
- Nice Guy: He is friendly to everyone, even Bakugo, who constantly blows him off.
Mezo Shoji
1-A's tallest member, he's intimidating but quite friendly. His Quirk, "Dupli-Arms", gives him six arm-shaped tentacles that can replicate any part of his body into them. Always wears a mask for personal reasons.
- Animal Motifs: He is compared to an octopus due to his Quirk.
- Cool Mask: The lower half of his face is always covered by a sort of ninja mask.
- Creepy Good: His appearance seems quite creepy, but he is one of Class 1-A's nicest students.
- Gentle Giant: He is the tallest Class 1-A student, and also one of the nicest.
- Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Not only does he have six arms, but he can also transform those arms into other body parts like mouths, ears, or eyes.
- Sleeves Are for Wimps: Justified as his Dupli-arms Quirk makes it impossible for him to wear anything with sleeves as such his uniform is modified specifically to accommodate this.
Kyoka Jiro
A girl with an interest in music. Her Quirk, "Earphone Jack", turns her earlobes into extensible earphone jacks that she can use to attack people or transmit the sound of her heartbeat with great power into whatever she stabs with them.
- Appearance Angst: She mentally notes it is unlikely for a boy to gush over her.
Fumikage Tokoyami
Class 1-A's resident Chuunibyou, his head makes him look like a raven. His Quirk, "Dark Shadow", manifests as a shadowy monster that inhabits his body, and that he can summon to fight on his behalf.
- Chuunibyou: He usually speaks in antiquated speech patterns.
- Dark Is Not Evil: His Quirk is a living shadow and he looks like a blackbird, but he is definitely on the side of good.
Shoto Todoroki
One of 1-A's two recommended students and the son of the Number Two Hero, Endeavor. His Quirk, "Half-Cold and Half-Hot", lets him emit incredible ice from his right side and searing flames from his left.
- Adaptational Angst Downgrade: Implied. He is seen using his flames during the Recommendation Exams, his costume resembles the one he started to use during Internship Arc, only half-white and half-blue, and he doesn't speak of Endeavor with barely contained hate like he used to until the Sports Festival, which means that maybe he managed to settle his issues with his father before getting to U.A.
- Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: His fire comes out of his red-haired left side and his ice comes out of his white-haired right side.
- Curb Stomp Cushion: He ultimately loses his duel against Izuku, but at least he manages to land a couple of hits against him before going down.
- Elemental Motifs: Not only his Quirk is Half-Cold Half-Hot, his costume is white on the right side and blue on the left.
- Scars Are Forever: The one over his left eye has already been there for a decade.
Toru Hagakure
A bubbly and cheerful girl whose Quirk, "Invisibility", renders her entire body permanently invisible. She is usually seen as a set of seemingly floating clothes. Because of this, she often jokes about her condition and can get away with states of undress no visible human could dream of trying in public.
- Genki Girl: She's cheerful and bubbly.
- Invisibility: Her Quirk.
Katsuki Bakugo
Izuku's former childhood friend and long-time bully. Bakugou has it all: athleticism, great grades, and an extremely powerful Quirk called "Explosion", which lets him turn the sweat his hands expel into nitroglycerin, allowing him to create explosions at will. His genius is only matched by his ego and fiery temper, refusing to let anyone else top him as he sets out to become the Number One Hero. His dream self also becomes one of Maleficent's pawns.
- Abhorrent Admirer: Becomes one to Naminé when her mass memory modification causes him to "remember" having a crush on her.
- The Ace: Deconstructed. At the start of the series, Bakugo was a skilled Quirk user who was good at just about anything he attempted, including having great grades. This, combined with him being praised by so many people for his luck and talent, meant Bakugo grew up knowing he was this — which made him into a massive jerkass who looks down on everyone else.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: The fact that Naminé becomes one of Sammy's girlfriends only makes him hate the guy even more.
- Hidden Depths: Despite how much he claims to hate Izuku and relished in tormenting him, Sammy's Flames of Repent show that Bakugou does have an immense amount of guilt for everything he did, even if the blond won't admit it, even to himself.
- Pet the Dog: One of the few people he's nice to is his "aunty" Inko. When he learns she was kidnapped and nearly killed, he showed genuine concern for her safety and even wanted to kill the ones responsible. This is a sharp contrast to how he treats her son, Izuku.
- Pride: Arguably his biggest character trait and flaw. Because he's been praised his whole life by those around him, he has an ego the size of a planet. As such, if he feels someone in any way looks down on him (whether they intended to or not) he'll react violently.
Minoru Mineta
1-A's most perverted student, he manages to get into the Hero Course thanks to his ability to creatively use his Quirk, "Pop Off", which lets him rip the highly adhesive balls that make his hair and use them in different situations, although overdoing this will cause him to start bleeding.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: He's aware that his perversion made him a creep in middle school, and he's trying to change. A far cry from his canon self.
- Hormone-Addled Teenager: He got into heroics because he thought it would help him score with girls.
- Required Secondary Powers: He can make himself immune to the sticky part of his balls.
Class 1-B
Yosetsu Awase
A loud-mouthed student from Class 1-B. His Quirk, "Weld", allows him to merge any two objects he touches at an atomic level.
Togaru Kamakiri
An aggressive Class 1-B student with an insectoid appearance. He could be considered the Bakugo of Class 1-B. His Quirk, "Sharp Edge", allows him to protrude blades from anywhere on his body.
Shihai Kuroiro
A Class 1-B boy with jet-black skin due to his Quirk, "Black", which allows him to merge with anything black and control it.
Itsuka Kendo
Class 1-B's class representative, a tomboyish girl who often has to keep Monoma in check. Her Quirk allows her to enlarge her hands, with their strength growing proportionally to their size. She's also from a distant branch family of the Shinra clan and likely inherited the clan's Sacred Beast.
- Adaptational Early Appearance: She actually makes a cameo months before U.A. starts in Chapter 16, where Sammy offers her a ride on his motorcycle. She wasn't aware of her connection to the Shinra family at the time, either.
- Heroes Love Dogs: Averted. When introducing herself, Kendo reveals that she hates dogs, which doesn't endear her to Selena, Charlotte, Kairi, Yui, Ibara, Chifuyu, and Maya (due to them either being friends with or girlfriends of Sammy).
- Naïve Newcomer: Word of God confirmed that Kendo has only recently became aware of the supernatural and is unaware of the reasons Sammy destroyed the Shinra clan.
- Our Werebeasts Are Different: Thanks to her connection to the Shinra clan, she can take on a weretiger form.
- These Hands Have Killed: After Tabane hijacks the Sports Festival and turns it into a killing game, Kendo kills a villain by accident and is horrified by it.
Kinoko Komori
An odd Class 1-B girl who wants to become an idol hero. Her Quirk, "Mushroom", lets her emit spores that can instantly sprout mushrooms, its effectivity depending on the area's humidity.
Shishida Jurota
A wealthy Class 1-B student with a beastly appearance. His Quirk gives him a more bestial form, with increased physical abilities that make him a good fighter.
- Gentle Giant: His bestial appearance hides his intelligence and gentleness.
Pony Tsunotori
A Class 1-B girl who transferred to U.A. from America and is one of Randy's friends. She has horse-like legs and horns on her head. Her Quirk, "Horn Cannon", allows her to shoot her horns as projectiles, which regrow almost immediately and telekinetically control up to four horns at once.
- Character Catchphrase: She uses some of the same wired lingo as Randy.
- Half-Human Hybrid: During the Sports Festival it's revealed that Pony is part qilin.
Tsuburaba Kosei
A walleyed student from Class 1-B. His Quirk, "Solid Air", allows him to breathe barriers of solidified air.
- That Came Out Wrong: When introducing himself, Tsuburaba mentions he "loves balls". He quickly realizes his mistake and corrects himself to "ball games" when Selena, Randy, and Pony snort in amusement.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
A hot-headed student from Class 1-B whose Quirk, "Steel", allows him to cover his body with steel. He at first clashes with Kirishima due to their similar personalities and Quirks, but they eventually become close friends.
- Meaningful Name: "Tetsu" means steel.note
- Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: His class outright calls his parents cruel for his name.
Setsuna Tokage
A talkative Class 1-B girl who enrolled into U.A. through recommendations. Her Quirk, "Lizard Tail Splitter", lets her split her body into multiple pieces that she can control independently.
- The Tease: She likes using her Quirk to mess with people.
Manga Fukidashi
A positive Class 1-B student whose head resembles a speech bubble. His Quirk, "Comic", allows him to manifest onomatopoeias into reality as giant letters that carry with them the properties of the sound they are made of.
- Non-Human Head: One of the oddest examples in fiction since it is literally a Speech Bubble!
- The Quiet One: He doesn't talk when introducing himself to his class, likely due to what may happen with his Quirk.
Randy Cunningham
Best Jeanist's nephew from America. He recently discovered his Sacred Gear and went to Japan with his uncle to better understand it.
- The Ace: He was the highest scoring male applicant at the Recommendation Exams, and the second overall, only losing to Momo.
- Adaptational Superpower Change:
- He has a Quirk, Cloth Master, which is similar to his uncle's Quirk.
- While the Ninjanomicon is still a magic book, here it's a Sacred Gear, not a magic book passed down through generations.
- Character Catchphrase: He has several catchphrases in the form of odd euphemisms and lingo, such as "that's the cheese" (that's the best), "so honkin' Bruce" (that's freaking awesome), "shnasty" (extremely gross), and "so wonk" (so lame).
- Canon Foreigner: Well, he technically is, but his Sacred Gear is a bigger example. Chapter 65 of A Fragmentary Stratos reveals that the Ninjanomicon is from Slumbering Stratos, the IS world.
- Foil: To Izuku. Both are teenagers that had to endure an inhuman level of bullying on horrible schools, are users of power Sacred Gears, Boost Gear and Ninjanomicon, and have Top 10 heroes from Japan sponsoring them, Randy has Best Jeanist and Izuku has All Might. The main difference comes that while Izuku has a friendship with Ddraig, the Ninjanomicon acts as a Trickster Mentor to Randy, and while Izuku has multiple love interests, the only girl Randy has eyes for is Theresa.
- Mundane Utility: He uses the Ninjanomicon's time dilation to study for his exams.
Neito Monoma
The condescending self-proclaimed leader of Class 1-B. His Quirk, "Copy", allows him to copy the Quirk of anyone he touches and use it for five minutes.
- Inferiority Superiority Complex: Selena correctly guesses he has this when she first sees him.
- Irrational Hatred: Dislikes Class 1-A on principle, even though the classes have not interacted at all by the time he enters the story on the first day of the school year!
Hiryu Rin
A foreign student who moved from China to Japan when he was in elementary school. His Quirk, "Scales", allows him to grow hard, dragon-like scales from his skin that he can use as armor or fire as razor-sharp projectiles.
- One-Steve Limit: Averted. Chifuyu takes a dislike of him due to them both him and Rin/Lynx being Chinese, sharing "Rin" in their names, and also his Quirk reminding Chifuyu of Rin's dragon Heartless (although she does acknowledge that said dislike is irrational).
Other Students
Nejire Hado — Nejire Chan
A smiling and welcoming U.A. student that has a child-like sense of curiosity, interning under Ryukyu. Her Quirk, "Wave Motion", enables her to release her vitality as energy shockwaves, though they lack speed due to coming out in spirals. She's also a witch, forming a contract with both Izuku and Sammy.
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Judging from how fast she switches between topics, she's got the attention span of a fruit fly.
- Constantly Curious: She asks everything that passes through her head and has no filter about when she might be getting too personal with her questions. She also asks things at such a speed she hardly even hears the answers to the first question.
- Chekhov's Gunman: After Sammy is seemingly killed, Nejire's the first to realize that he's still alive: had Sammy died, the link that had formed between them after they formed a contract would have been severed. Instead, it is still there, albeit weakened.
- Genius Ditz: She's a tested genius, top of her class in grades, and got the highest marks in her year's entrance exam, but she comes off as quite ditzy due to her above-mentioned (lack of) attention span.
- Guy on Guy Is Hot: She would really love to see Sammy and Izuku getting it on.
- Harem Seeker: She has no problem joining a harem, dating Sammy, Izuku and the girls dating them as well, openly calling Sona and Tsubaki her girlfriends.
- Incompatible Orientation: Subverted. She has no problem dating other girls, but the one she can't stand is Haya.
- Odd Friendship: With Xenovia.
- Official Couple: When they start attending U.A., Nejire begins dating both Izuku and Sammy.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The upbeat cheery Red Oni to Xenovia's stoic and deadpan Blue Oni.
- We Used to Be Friends: She's pretty much cut off contact with her friends at U.A., since Haya seems to regard her as little more than a commodity and only seems to appreciate her beauty, Togata is in cahoots with Nighteye (who could easily tell him to kill Nejire and he'd do it in a heartbeat) and Amajiki is too loyal to Togata to side against him.
Mirio Togata — Lemillion
Species: Human
An older student at U.A. High, interning under Sir Nighteye as well as the man's pick for All Might's successor. Has the Quirk "Permeation", which allows him to become intangible for a short time at the cost of his senses, and when deactivating it he is shot up toward the nearest surface.
- Black-and-White Insanity: Thanks to Nighteye's manipulations, he has a bit of a black-and-white view of the world. If Nighteye says that someone is a villain even without any evidence, Mirio will believe it.
- Blind Obedience: He's fiercely loyal to Sir Nighteye. Unfortunately, this leaves Mirio vulnerable to Nighteye manipulating him, which has led to Mirio doing rather villainous actions such as trying to kill Sammy and actually killing Yui.
- Locked Out of the Loop: He's unaware of the supernatural and about One for All.
- Never My Fault: He blames Yui for how he killed her.
- Replacement Goldfish: Sir Nighteye sees Mirio as a replacement All Might - one that he can mold to become whatever he wants.
- Selective Obliviousness: He pays no mind to how the sword Nighteye gave him was growing heavier as he got ready to kill Sammy.
- Sustained Misunderstanding: Due to Nighteye's manipulations, he believes that people who have been reincarnated into devils after death are just corpses that are being toyed with by devils. When Nejire points out the Insane Troll Logic in there by revealing that Sammy was also reincarnated after dying, Mirio believes Sammy is also a corpse, so he has to make it so Sammy will "rest in peace".
Mei Hatsume
A Support Course member who loves to make gadgets of all kinds. Her Quirk, "Zoom", gives her the ability to zoom her eyesight to extreme distances and can see up to 5 miles away.
- Adaptational Superpower Change: Hatsume can produce fire from her fingertips like a blowtorch and is also apparently fireproof. Kanzashi recognizes the flames as magic right away, suggesting Hatsume either has a Sacred Gear, has supernatural heritage, or simply knows magic. It's later revealed she's a daughter of Hephaestus.
- Mad Scientist: Is really into her gadgets, which she calls her "babies".
Hitoshi Shinso
- Abhorrent Admirer: He is interested in Naminé, who considers him a bit of an irritant (particularly because of his unwarranted dislike of her brother, boyfriend, and friends).
- Crazy Jealous Guy: He doesn't take it well when Izuku takes Naminé to join the rest of the gang at lunch time, even after learning that Izuku is Naminé's brother.
- Poor Communication Kills: When Naminé told him that the strongest Quirk meant nothing in the hands of someone weak, she was just telling him to shut up about his Irrational Hatred of the Hero Course. Hitoshi took it to mean that she agreed with him on that idea.
Howard Weinerman
U.A. Class Status: Support Course
Howard is Randy's best friend, and aside from Pony, he is the only person who knows Randy is the Ninjanomicon.
- Big Eater: He really likes to eat.
- Half-Human Hybrid: During the Sports Festival it's revealed he's part Tengu.
- Involuntary Shapeshifting: During the Sports Festival, the stress from it all eventually causing Howard to change into his Tengu form… and promptly lose control as he begins attacking his own classmates and friends.
Theresa Fowler
A cute, strange girl with a sweet voice and a couple of screws loose. She likes to twirl batons, is friends with Debbie, and (definitely) has a crush on Randy.
- Adaptational Badass: Gains a Stand during the Sports Festival.
- Composite Character: She has Honenuki's Quirk.
U.A. Class Status: General Studies
Super short, super smart, and super sarcastic. Debbie is a sorta friend to Randy's group and joins them in leaving Norrisville for U.A. High.
Yuyu Haya
U.A. Class Status: 3-A Hero Course
A third-year Hero student who's Nejire's former friend/biggest fan.
- Abhorrent Admirer: She has an extremely toxic crush on Nejire, something Nejire is awarw of and is the main reason to cutting Haya off her life.
- Distaff Counterpart: She is essentially a female version of Bakugo. Has a crush that is not reciprocated, spike haired, elemental powers, she is even the main receiver of Aizawa's blatant favoritism, much like Bakugo.
- Green-Eyed Monster: She despises anyone who has Nejire's affection who isn't her, and that's a pretty long list.
Antagonists
Disney Villains
Maleficent
Maleficent is an evil fairy hellbent on taking over all worlds in existence by using the Princesses of Heart.
- Abusive Parents: Played with. She's of the emotional manipulation kind. While she does treat Bakugo like a son, given who she is it's likely she only sees him as a valuable pawn, the same way with Riku. Yet she does care for them in her own way.
Organization XIII
Lynx, The Cataclysmic Dragon (Original Name: Lingyin "Rin" Huang)
Representative of China for the IS Academy and Class 1-2 Representative, she's Ichika's other childhood friend. She handled his death even WORSE than Chifuyu and Houki did. Her hatred of Sammy eventually causes her Heart to be consumed by Darkness and her to become a Nobody, where she's picked up by the Organization and renamed Lynx.
- Adaptation Species Change: She has dragon heritage. This proves to be a problem as she considered Ichika her "treasure", and when he died, she swore vengeance on the one she believed responsible: Sammy.
- Adaptational Jerkass: While Rin in canon was a Yandere whose catchphrase was "Let's kill him/them!", she was genuinely in love with Ichika and got along well with the other girls most of the time. Here, because Ichika died, her positive traits all vanished, replaced with a burning hatred of Sammy, Ichika's quote-unquote "killer". She eventually goes full on Adaptational Villainy in Chapter 41 of the side story, where she tries to downright kill Houki, Cecilia, and Kanzashi.
- Boomerang Bigot: Her hatred of Sammy extends to the other girls, especially Houki, which grew when she saw them train to use their mythical heritage/Sacred Gears, calling them monsters. She conveniently either doesn't know or ignores the fact that she herself is part dragon.
- Foil: To Houki. Both of them are childhood friends of Ichika with immense crushes on the boy and are Half-Human Hybrids. They also both react violently when they learn of Ichika's death and blame Sammy. But while Houki was eventually able to let the hatred go and move on, Rin let her hatred consume her, becoming a Heartless and a Nobody. Also, Houki is quite tall and busty while Rin is short and flat.
- Humanoid Abomination: As a result of becoming a Nobody.
- Lack of Empathy: After becoming a Nobody, Rin losses all emotion.
- Odd Friendship: Seems to have formed one with Demyx.
- Transhuman Abomination: Her hatred for Sammy eventually causes her Heart to be consumed by Darkness, becoming a gigantic dragon Heartless.
Xigbar, The Freeshooter
The Number II in Organization XIII, Xigbar, despite his laid-back and carefree attitude, is well-deserving of his status in the Organization, being much more powerful and competent than his personality would indicate.
- Character Catchphrase: "As if!"
- Combat Pragmatist: He engages his melee opponents with ranged weaponry and abuses Teleport Spam.
- Eyepatch of Power: He's missing his right eye but he's still extremely powerful.
- I Need a Freaking Drink: After his fight with Izuku and Xenovia, he gets a drink to deal with the fact they nearly killed him.
- Jerkass: When Izuku shows he is willing to beg in order to find out where Sammy is, Xigbar laughs at him and attempts to kill him.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: He gets the heck out of dodge after Izuku and Xenovia manage to corner him, the latter about to kill him with her Excalibur.
Demyx, The Melodious Nocturne
The Number IX of the Organization. Demyx is a bit of a goof and a slacker that would rather play music over work but is capable of turning in good results when pressed.
- Dumbass Has a Point: He admits he's not the brightest bulb (with many in the Organization agreeing), but he agrees with Xigbar that it would be a bad idea to try and take Xenovia's Excalibur, while also pointing out that a weapon that powerful probably needs a requirement of some kind to wield, like the Keyblades.
- Odd Friendship: Seems to have formed one with Lynx.
Saïx, The Luna Diviner
Number VII in the Organization.
Luxord, The Gambler of Fate
Number X within the Organization XIII. Suave, likes card games and views life as a game, having all the time in the world to win it.
- Commonality Connection: Even though they have yet to meet, Luxord feels that Sammy is a kindred spirit, which is why he volunteers to get information from the dog.
- The Gambler: His moniker is "The Gambler of Fate". He's so good at gambling he somehow beat Sammy!
Lexaeus, The Taciturn Stalwart
Number V of the Organization and originally a founding member. He's killed by Sammy in the IS world.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: The way Sammy kills him is not pretty. The best way to describe it is Lexaeus' own body slowly rotting away until nothing's left, with all he could do until the end was scream. Is it any wonder Zexion ran?
Zexion, The Cloaked Schemer
Number VI in the Organization and originally a founding member.
- Not So Stoic: The way Sammy killed Lexaeus has clearly shaken Zexion, who hasn't left his room at all since. Lynx notes that this is strange, given that Nobodies like them lack Hearts and, thus, emotions. Saïx brushes it off as echos of emotions from when he was a Somebody.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After witnessing the way Sammy killed Lexaeus, Zexion wisely books it.
Larxene, The Savage Nymph
Number XII of Organization XIII, Larxene is gleefully sadistic and enjoys tormenting others for the fun of it.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: After realizing that Sammy is immune to both Axel's and her powers, she grabs the unconscious Axel and retreats.
Axel, The Flurry of Dancing Flames
Organization XIII's 8th member.
- Character Catchphrase: "Got it memorized?"
- Rings of Death: Uses two Chakrams that control wind and fire in battle.
Vexen, The Chilly Academic
Number IV of the Organization. He is the group's resident scientist, always interested in new test subjects for his experiments.
Roxas
One of Organization XIII's newer members, a mysterious Nobody able to wield the Keyblade.
Xelumas R.O. Sigurd
One of Organization XIII's newer members, implied to be Sammy's Nobody.
Xion
Number XIV of Organization XIII, Keyblade wielder unable to remember her past like Roxas, she joins up shortly after him and they quickly become friends.
- Appearance Is in the Eye of the Beholder: It's implied that Lynx sees her as Sammy.
Tabane's faction
Tabane Shinonono
Houki's older sister and inventor of the IS suits. She's also responsible for bringing Sammy to the IS world and indirectly for Ichika's death.
- Adaptational Badass: As if she wasn't dangers enough already, Tabane is somehow able to steal Annihilation Maker from Leonardo during "A Fragmentary Stratos" and already masters Unbalanced Dominion by the time of the Sports Festival.
- Arch-Enemy: Bizarrely, she declares herself to be Sammy's yet still admits she's in love with him.
- Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work: Inflicts a Fate Worse than Death on Raynare for what she did to Izuku. It's so bad that by the time Raynare reappears in "A Fragmentary Stratos", she's so broken all she can say is Izuku's name before Sammy kills her.
- Beware the Silly Ones: It's easy to assume she's just a harmless eccentric given her Genki Girl persona. Yet she's incredibly dangerous, as both Raynare and Byakko Shinra learned the hard way, and the latter was an accident!
- For Science!: Pretty much her MO for anything she does.
- Stalker with a Crush: She has been observing Sammy for a long time since he was three. Given who she is it was hard to tell if she was this or the opposite until A Fragmentary Stratos' Chapter 48 pretty much confirms she's this.
Chloe Chronicle
Species: Human
Laura's elder sister (kinda) who is also an ally and maid of Tabane Shinonono.
- Eyes Always Shut: Her eyes are rarely open.
- Lotus-Eater Machine: Her Empty Moment is capable of putting people to sleep and trapping them in a dream world of their deepest desires. Nightmare Teller is capable of the same, only with the victims experiencing their biggest fears.
- Oblivious to Love: When she develops feelings for Izuku, she can't understand why she's hesitating to take him out.
- Rescue Romance: When Izuku uses an attack powerful enough to rattle Tabane's Domain, Chloe nearly falls into one of the schisms it caused only to be saved by Izuku. When she asks why he did so, his response of "helping anyone in need" quickly causes Chloe to develop a crush on Izuku.
- Undying Loyalty: To Tabane, after she did something that saved her in the past.
Madoka "M" Orimura
Species: Human
A member of the secret organization Phantom Task and pilot of the experimental IS, Silent Zephyrs. She actually looks like a younger Chifuyu and wants to kill her.
- Ax-Crazy: She's just a bit too Trigger-Happy. This only gets worse after she awakens her Sacred Gear.
- Blood Knight: After awakening her Sacred Gear and fighting Sammy, she becomes ecstatic, feeling alive for the first time.
- Guy on Guy Is Hot: Retreats to her room to masturbate after Chloé gives her a yaoi manga featuring Sammy.
- Long-Lost Relative: She's the unknown third Orimura sibling, which neither Chifuyu nor Ichika knew about.
Independent Villains
Mirai Sasaki — Sir Nighteye
Species: Human
A pro hero who was once All Might's sidekick, though the two have since parted ways. Despite being quite strict and serious, he greatly values laughter and humor. His Quirk, "Foresight", grants him a vision of a person's entire future, though it gets fuzzier the further he looks ahead.
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Appears much earlier than in canon.
- Adaptational Villainy: Like you wouldn't believe.
- He's responsible for letting the Twilight Killer loose since all of her targets was boys with connections to the supernatural.
- He sends villains to kidnap and kill Inko in an attempt to prevent Izuku from getting One for All.
- His hatred of the supernatural is such that he orders Mirio to kill Sammy, having brainwashed the blond into Blind Obedience.
- Broken Pedestal: Bubble Girl's admiration for Nighteye vanishes after she sees his true self.
- Control Freak: To a fault. He has convinced himself to believe he's the only one allowed to decide who should receive One for All, when it is All Might the one that has the final say, and also believes that Izuku will ruin all of his planning if he receives the Quirk.
- Expy: The author specifically points to the Purifiers for inspiring Nighteye's personality and actions, mainly his hatred of anything supernatural yet willingness to use magical items to kill supernatural beings.
- Fantastic Racism: Aside from his hatred of supernatural beings, he's also Quirkist, not only having ties with Detnerat (a front for the Meta Liberation Army), he downright calls Izuku a "Quirkless piece of shit". He conveniently ignores the fact that All Might was Quirkless once.
- The Fatalist: He very firmly believes that You Can't Fight Fate and treats any insinuation to the contrary with dripping disdain, which feeds into his Control Freak tendencies.
- Hate Sink: Good luck finding anyone (apart from Mirio) In-Universe or out that still likes him.

- For as much as he claims to be a hero, his actions undoubtedly make him more of a villain.
- He has an intense hatred for anything involving the supernatural, yet he uses a sword of light and a gun with holy bullets, both being magic items. Word of God says that Nighteye's thought process is essentially "I use the magic to destroy the magic and that's ok".
- He considers Izuku inferior because he was Quirkless, but chooses to ignore that All Might was Quirkless, too.
- It's All About Me: Nighteye claims his actions are for the benefit of All Might (oh, and society), but he's actually doing it because of his own selfishness, which All Might calls him out on.
- You Monster!: Is called one by Sammy during their fight in Chapter 13. Nighteye just rebuffs that he's a hero.

Inko Midoriya
Species: Human
Izuku's mom. She has spent the most time raising him while her husband works overseas.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Played for Laughs. She mentions that she, her husband, and Bakugo's parents often went to hang out in Kamurocho when they were in school, beating up muggers and taking their cash. Izuku, Rias, and Ibara lose some respect for her when they learn this.
- Evil Lawyer Joke: It's stated that her job as a lawyer makes her a monster when playing Monopoly.
- Good Parents: Due to her husband working out of the country, she was Izuku's only caretaker - and the main reason he came out as good as he is.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Izuku hides the fact he's a devil now from her.
- Parents as People: While she does her best to be there for Izuku, there are moments where she comes up short, such as not being there for his dreams. She's also oblivious, or at least unaware of how bad, to Bakugo's bullying Izuku.
- Shipper on Deck: Of a sort. She doesn't care which girl(s) Izuku gets with, as long as she gets grandkids to spoil.

Sammy's familiar, a digital being who resides in his phone.
- Benevolent A.I.: Pretty much.

Izuku's familiar, an anti-bird who took a liking to him.
- Head Pet: She set up a nest in Izuku's hair.
- Smarter Than You Look: Rias notes that she's pretty smart for an anti-bird, which normally have the same intelligence as regular birds.
