Thinking about it, wouldn't Chin from King Of Fighters to be considered to enter this list? I see his eyes are obscured by his bangs, and yeah. So, come on.
...also Lucy Loud from The Loud House, Koryuta from Ganbare Goemon and Donbe from Shin Onigashima.
Edited by HuntbusterGuineaI apologize, but I don't understand why this example was removed:
According to the edit reason, this example was removed because it is a "Zero Context Example". As far as I can tell, Blinding Bangs simply refers to a character's hairstyle which obscures the eyes. What context is the example missing?
I used to have blinding bangs and could see fine, but that might be due to my curly hair. when my hair got whet it would get strait and stick together. this not only got in the way of seeing but when it covered my mouth it got in the way of breathing too.
These need elaboration before they can be add back to the page. This is a personal appearance trope, so at the very least there should be a description about how said characters bangs cover their eyes.

Though some of these are non-context, plenty shouldn't have been moved. The Visual Novels example in particular has a clear motiviation described. And frankly, not all these examples can be expanded.
Edited by StFanThat's not a good reason. This is a personal appearance trope, there should at least a description about the characters physical appearance. If you think that an example can't be expanded then it shouldn't be listed. The example section is supposed to provide examples about how a trope is used (see Zero Context Example and How To Write An Example), it's not there just to be a list of works that use a trope.
While, I agree that the Visual Novels example should be re-added, the rest should not.
Edited by captainpatNot a mod, but I'm going to agree with St Fan on this. A lot of those examples were fine, and because it's a descriptive trope, many of the "contentless" examples" won't have elaboration because they weren't needed.
DoodlesThere's many different hairstyles that can give a character Blinding Bangs and not only that there also a number of different traits (shyness, mysterious, aloofness) commonly associated with characters have Blinding Bangs. The fact it's an appearence trope is all the more reason to elaborate on the example. There should be a description of their appearance. If there's nothing to elaborate, then why add the example to begin with? That's just Entry Pimping. We don't need to list every single work that uses this trope and forgo quality examples.
Does anyone know any japanese? If so, I think this page would be helpful to find more examples, putting the page through google translator gives me 'blind eyes hidden hair' as the title, and skimming through it/google imaging a few resulted in a few familiar faces, and a few new ones (half covered in hair).
I quite adore this trope, so help would be GREATLY appreciated.
