This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):

I always just use the wiki uploader since it's the easiest method and doesn't make the images oversized

the wiki uploader and the forum uploader have been made the same over a year ago though? The difference is that the wiki uploader also comes with the quoteright formatting pre-written (which defaults to 1000p now)

That's what I mean. I never want to add it myself since I can never remember the code. So I use the wiki uploader almost exclusively. The images come out already at wikisize.

@Louisaurusrex — Honestly, I feel that it's best to show the asteroid, or at least the impact collision if we need an image for The Day the Dinosaurs Died. The asteroid is so synonymous with the extinction event and will inevitably be emphasized in works that take place in the last days of the Cretaceous Period that it's difficult to really find a better example to visualize the dinosaurs' (as well as 70% of life, including pterosaurs and most marine reptiles) extinction.
Your image isn't bad, but it could also look like the Edmontosaurus is the victim of a forest fire rather than an extinction. Maybe if there was a Tear Jerker page for documentaries it could work, but that doesn't exist so...
