Who is the real monster?
Beautiful People (alternate title: Dead House) is a Zombie Horror Movie by Brini Amerigo.
One night, the Pontecorvo family's quiet evening is derailed when a trio of psychopathic thugs, Nibbio (Danny Cutler), Testamento (Alex Lucchesi), and Brett (Alex Southern) break into their house and hold them at gunpoint. He forces the family to sit down while Testamento goes snooping around for valuables they can steal. In his search, Testamento comes across the basement, where he discovers that the father of the house (David White) has been experimenting with a serum that creates undead. This soon starts to complicate things when the zombies get loose.
The film was released on July 18th, 2014.
Beautiful People contains examples of:
- Bald of Evil: Nibbio.
- Beard of Evil: Testamento.
- Downer Ending: Completely out of nowhere, Brett rapes, and then kills Elena by crushing her head with a rock. The military find the family's youngest child and kill him. And finally, the country gets engulfed in a Zombie Apocalypse.
- Fat Bastard: Nibbio, the apparent leader of the thugs.
- Forced into Evil: Brett goes along with all the murder, looting, and other vile acts because Nibbio makes him. Though he rapes and kills Elena of his own volition.
- Head Crushing: After raping Elena, Brett kills her by hitting her over the head with a rock until it's flattened.
- Would Hurt a Child: Nibbio and Testamento have no qualms about killing a teenage girl.
- The military remorselessly shoot the Pontecorvo family's youngest son after finding him in the house.
- Zombie Apocalypse: Footage of zombies overrunning Britain are seen inter-spliced among the end credits.
