Heroes

    Odd-Eye

Odd-Eye

Debut: Chapter 4 (Team Up Mission)

Quirk: Mind Reaper

Known as the Edgelord Hero, he invites Midoriya, Tokoyami, and Kuroiro into his domain to reveal their deepest secrets. His Quirk, "Mind Reaper" reveals the dark secrets of whomever he touches.

  • Bad Powers, Good People: "Mind Reaper" sounds like a scary Quirk fit for a villain, but it's in the hands of a Large Ham and is Played for Laughs in the chapter it's featured in. For example, when Deku is affected by it, he blurts out all of his fantasies about being All Might's sidekick.
  • Large Ham: Where to start? He asks to be met with in the "abyss of night", calls his base of operations his "realm", his sidekicks are referred to as his familiars and dress in a very occult manner, he has a crazy laugh whenever he's in danger according to his sidekicks, and he sends an invitation written in invisible ink, which refers to Midoriya and company as "chosen ones". This guy truly lives up to his moniker.
  • What You Are in the Dark: Basically how his Quirk works; he reveals the deep dark secrets of anyone he touches the face of.

Civilians

    Hime

Hime

Debut: Chapter 3.5 (Team Up Mission)

Quirk: Unknown

A little girl who enlists Fat Gum and his interns to help find her "prince" that saved her from villains the other day.

  • It Was with You All Along: She and Fat Gum spend a whole day trying to find her "prince", only for the both of them to realize that the "prince" they were looking for was Fat Gum all along, just in his slim form.
  • Meaningful Name: Hime can mean either "princess" or "small".
  • Ojou Ringlets: Her hair is worn in two curly twist-like shapes.
  • Precocious Crush: She's instantly smitten with the "princely" hero who rescued her and comes to the Fat Gum agency in hopes of meeting him again. Little does she know that Fat Gum is her prince after he slims down. She's devastated when he starts fattening himself up again.

    Tsuyoshi

Tsuyoshi

Debut: Chapter 3.6 (Team Up Mission)

Quirk: Bristle

A young boy with a passion for soccer. His Quirk, "Bristle" manifests as a single spiky strand of Prehensile Hair.

  • Prehensile Hair: The basis of his quirk, potentially similar to Kirishima's Hardening, as its description says that it "makes his hair super hard."
  • Strong Family Resemblance: His mother has hair quite similar to his, and possibly has the same or a similar Quirk.

"So you can use your Quirk freely then. How nice..."

A young man whose Quirk causes him to emit a poisonous fog. Midoriya, Bakugo, and Uraraka meet him on their Team Up Mission with Mirko.

  • Bad Powers, Good People: While his powers are a serious threat to the people around him, he has zero bad intentions, with him trying his best to keep himself from harming others.
  • Blessed with Suck: In a similar case to Aoyama and his Navel Laser, he's got a strong quirk that has great potential for use, but he suffers from major Power Incontinence that harms his body if he doesn't regulate it's use. Except he has it worse, since regulating his Quirk to prevent harming himself means letting it out, potentially hurting other people instead.
  • Deadly Gas: His Quirk causes him to produce this inside himself. He doesn't have to release it, but he can't stop it from being formed.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Downplayed. He's not evil at all, but he's clearly envious of people like Midoriya who can use their Quirks freely without much consequence. Of course this is ignoring how Midoriya got into trouble several times because he used his Quirk without permission.
  • In the Hood: His "villain" costume is just a hoodie and mask that somewhat conceals his face.
  • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: He's not a bad person at all, he just can't suppress his Quirk. He specifically tries to release his poison in areas with few people. Once he's caught and his situation is revealed onto the news, a petition was made to reduce his sentence.
  • Power Incontinence: His body naturally creates a poisonous gas that builds up inside him. If he doesn't release it every once in a while, it'll destroy him from the inside.
  • When He Smiles: He spends most of the chapter with his face concealed, but he loses his mask and takes his hoodie down after the heroes help him, revealing that he has a rather cute smile underneath.

    Octopus Protection Association

Octopus Protection Association

Debut: Chapter 1.5 (Team Up Mission)

Quirks: Unnamed Octopus Quirks

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/octopus_protection_association.png

An animal rights group based in Osaka, made up of people with octopus Quirks. They seek to end the use of octopi as food.

  • A Handful for an Eye: One of them tries to blind Tamaki by spitting ink at him, but he's able to avoid.
  • Tentacled Terror: Extremist members are portrayed as antagonistic jerks.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: While their cause isn't necessarily evil, some extremist members of the group are prone to violent riots.
  • Would Hurt a Child: One extremist member had no qualms with attacking Hime, a little girl.

    Speed Villain

Speed Villain

Debut: Chapter 2 (Team Up Mission)

Quirk: Unnamed Super Speed Quirk

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/speed_villain.jpg

The leader of a small group of villains that Midoriya and Bakugo face during their Team Up Mission with Hawks.

  • Always Someone Better: He takes great pride in his speed, but is unable to use it to escape, simply because Hawks is even faster.
  • Animal Motifs: Spiders. His helmet makes it look he has eight spider eyes and a secondary ability of his Quirk allows him to spit out webs. Him having a Super-Speed Quirk on top of that is likely an allusion to the Running Spider, who hunt their prey with lightning-quick speed.
  • Fragile Speedster: For all his speed, he goes down in a single hit from Midoriya and Bakugo after the heroes corner him.
  • No Name Given: He isn't named.
  • Projectile Webbing: In addition to his super-speed, he can spit out webs to catch his enemies.
  • Smug Super: He's incredibly proud of his speed and boasts about it constantly. His pride is shattered when Hawks easily outpaces him, stunning the villain long enough for Midoriya and Bakugo to easily finish him off.
  • Super-Speed: His Quirk allows him to move extremely quickly, something he takes great pride in.
