Platoon 113
Daryl Smithson
Daryl Smithson
A novice Pacificator of Light. There's a lot more to her than meets the eye...
- Action Girl: In chapters 39 and 40, Daryl's gotten the chance to show off all the new fighting tricks she learned, and is it ever awesome.
- Ascended Fangirl: One of the reasons Daryl was so quick to accept Bismun's offer of joining Platoon 113 is because some of her idols were on that team.Daryl: I was very eager to start my first mission with my idols and making friends with them...
- Berserk Button: Donāt call her fat.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Sheās the sweetest girl youāll ever meet. Just donāt call her fat, or hurt people in front of her.
- Big Eater: Has a healthy appetite, to put it mildly.
- Character Development: Daryl's becoming more assertive and comfortable in the platoon, but sheās still young and inexperienced, being out of school only for a few months.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Implied. Apparently, her mother is an extremely strict parent of some kinds, and does not want Daryl to become a Pacificator, lest she suffers her grandmother's fate...
- In light of new information, it may be that her mother didn't want her to end up like Castella Brandsford.
- Die or Fly: How Daryl learns new tricks.
- Evil Laugh: Yes, we got one from her, of all people.Cinna: That new spinster laugh, whereās it coming from?!
- Farm Girl
- Fights Like a Normal: She learned her wrestling moves from a stubborn goat.
- Friend to All Children: Even ones that ally themselves with pirates.
- Graying Morality: Sheās getting a hard lesson on the reality of life.
- He Is Not My Boyfriend: Said this to Cinna about Allan.
- Heroic BSoD: She experienced a mild one after a mission failure in which she contemplated quitting the platoon and starting anew.
- Hidden Depths: Definitely more than the shy and inexperienced Pacificator she seems to be.
- Humans Are Good: Believes in this strongly, which makes her ripe for Graying Morality.
- Legacy Character: Implied to be this in-universe. Her grandmother, Helen Churchill, was a very famous Pacificator of Light who untied Italy and helped to find many, many T-Pacificators. Bismunās gambling on Daryl showing the talents her grandmother had.
- Confirmed in chapter 43. Daryl definitely inherited every bit of Helen's power, and she is actually a very powerful Pacificator. The superiors, however, are afraid of another Castella incident, so they intentionally mislabeled Daryl as a weak "feebler."
- The Idealist: Currently is struggling between being this and being a Stepford Smiler, thanks to Graying Morality.
- Light 'em Up: The basis of her powers. She's so good at this, she's actually able to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum... from radio waves to gamma waves.
- Magic Staff: The staff was inherited from her grandmother. It is an old staff, obviously, and has a huge crack on the orb. Turns out her mother inflicted that crack on the staff when she hurled it into a wall after catching Helen teaching her granddaughter a few tricks...
- Naive New Comer: To being an active Pacificator.
- New Meat: Youngest on the team and fresh out of school.
- Passing the Torch: Implied to be the case with her and her grandmother.
- The Pollyanna: Mixed with Stepford Smiler.
- Power Crutch: She needs her staff to create a flare, via the orb atop it.
- The Power of the Sun
- Samaritan Syndrome: The reason she became a Pacificator - she wanted to help people just like her grandmother.
- Secret Legacy: Thereās a lot more to her than it looks, and then thereās her famous grandmother...
- See the entry to Legacy Character.
- Smarter Than You Look: People tend to dismiss her because sheās only a sixteen year-old who just graduated. However...
- Stupid Good: The impression people get of her.
- Team Chef: She makes some mean apple pies.
- Team Mom: Despite being five to eight years younger than her teammates.
- Trademark Favorite Food: She really likes bread.
- Welcome Episode: The first chapter.
- What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: Those with the power of light donāt get much respect; theyāre often called "feeblers." However, Daryl discovered The Power of the Sun...
- Wide-Eyed Idealist
- With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: Daryl is at a very real and legitimate risk of this - it's confirmed in chapter 43 that powers affect one's mental and physical health. Castella, who had the exact same power Daryl has, was infamous for her Sanity Slippage and the resulting murder of thousands of people. On the other hand, Daryl's grandmother Helen, who had this power too, didn't go insane. But, Helen did go blind and is so weak, she can barely move. Either way, Daryl's future doesn't look so bright.
Muneca Powell
Muneca Powell
The Pacificator of Gravity, rank A.
- Ambition Is Evil: Subverted; sheās very ambitious, but not evil.
- Berserk Button: Lots. Being touched, people saying or doing rude and vulgar things in public, people being mean to or hurting children, and lastly, the biggest one of all - Cinna.
- Brainy Brunette: She knows the rules inside and out.
- Butt-Monkey: Even though everybodyās fair game, sheās by far the biggest one, usually courtesy of her rival.
- Character Development: Muneca is slowly starting to work with Cinna, and becoming more flexible about rules. For example, sheās started to slip into Spanish when speaking.
- Control Freak
- Covered with Scars: Burn scars, to be specific.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Now that we know Muneca has extensive burn scars, we can start fitting the pieces together. When she was a small girl, she got caught in a terrible fire, and she apparently remembers being burned alive all too well....
- Death Glare: She has a really terrifying one.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: After Daryl accidentally discovers Muneca's scars, Muneca has become considerably much more relaxed with Daryl, doing things such as willingly touching Daryl, for one.
- Does Not Like Men: Possibly. Muneca was the first recruit of Bismun's platoon, and she specifically requested that the platoon be all-female.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Look at Covered with Scars in case you wonder why. It's strongly implied to be this case when Muneca screamed at Daryl to get out, and to not to tell anybody.
- Fights Like a Normal: Muneca is good at fencing.
- Get Out!: Gave a big "LEAVE!" to Daryl when Daryl accidentally saw her burned arm and back.
- Gorgeous Period Dress: She wears Victorian-era clothes. One of the reasons she dresses like this is to hide her extensive burn scars.
- Gravity Master: Her power type.
- Hates Being Touched: Donāt even touch her on the shoulder or youāll get slapped with a sexual assault charge. That's because it's actually painful for her to be touched, thanks to her extensive burn scars.
- Headbutting Heroes: With Cinna.
- Heroes Prefer Swords: As mentioned before, she's good at sword-fighting. See Parasol of Prettiness for more.
- Hidden Depths: Muneca's very inflexible about rules, right? Well... her parasol is actually a Sword Cane, for real - and the catch is that it's illegal. Our Muneca is actually breaking the rules, big time!
- Apparently she's excellent at making coffee, much to Cinna's delight when she made authentic Italian cappuccino.
- Honor Before Reason: Sheās very obsessed with her duty.
- A Kind of One: Sheās the only Pacificator of Gravity. She was so valuable that when she became available for recruitment, it had to be decided by a lottery.
- Last-Name Basis: Weāve yet to see Muneca address any adults by their first name.
- Lipstick Lesbian: Confirmed. A significant character arc for Muneca is her becoming comfortable with her sexual preference and sexuality identity.
- Mama Bear: Do not harm the children. Even the bratty ones.
- Meaningful Name: Muneca is Spanish for doll.
- Minor Injury Overreaction: Thus earning her the nickname of "Berserk Doll" from Cinna. It makes perfect sense, however, when you recall that when she was a small girl, she got caught in a fire, and got burned...
- Most Common Superpower: Itās likely that she wears a corset with her clothes, and sheās excessively private, but Word of God confirms this. Also, Cinna suspects this.
- It's pretty much confirmed in-universe by now. Cinna gives her a really hard time about it.
- Not So Above It All: Is willing to swoop as low as to blackmailing and getting into petty trusses with Cinna.
- Parasol of Prettiness: She always carries around a parasol — but it's not just an useless accessory! It comes with a couple of little tricks...
- Parasol Parachute: Justified Trope - she has the power of gravity.
- Sword Cane: Thereās a hidden spring blade in her parasol. And her parasol itself is actually a sword!
- Pride: One of her major character flaws.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: As discussed on the main page, Muneca gets quite a bit of help from Kathy.
- Really, it's more of a Screw the Difficulties, I Have Connections! thing, since Muneca is very strict about following rules. What's making it a bit hard for her to get promotions is part stubbornness, and part bad luck.
- Secret Legacy: As it turns out, Muneca has inherited her power from her mother, who inherited it from her mother... who has inherited it from her mother as well. That's at least four generations!
- Smart People Wear Glasses: Just for reading.
- Sour Prude: Subverted. Sheās just really very modest and polite. It's a Berserk Button of hers when people say vulgar things in public.
- Statuesque Stunner: Sheās taller than some of the men, and pretty much every other woman thus far in the comic.
- Word of God is that she's over six feet tall.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Cinna.
- They Died Because of You: Gave this to Larima, concerning Porenn Carlson's death.
- Trademark Favorite Food: She loves tea.
Cinna Grossul
Cinna Grossul
A Pacificator of Fire, rank B.
- Affectionate Nickname: Calls Qamra "Ex-Boss" (she used to be "Boss"), though it's more of an Embarrassing Nickname to Qamra.
- The Bait: She was forced to be one in order to draw Rendo away. Quite possibly the funniest scene in the whole story so far, coupled with water balloons as Fake Boobs for the Booby Trap! (Remember, she's Hollywood Thin...)
- Berserk Button: People calling her and her freckles ugly, bossy people, and Muneca.
- Blessed with Suck: Like any other with the power of fire, Cinna overheats and suffers a heatstroke when she gets too angry.
- Burning with Anger: See Blessed with Suck.
- Character Development: Cinna is very slowly gaining respect for Muneca.
- Cheshire Cat Grin: A couple of really good ones.
- Child Hater: She just doesnāt like kids.
- She does, very reluctantly, tolerate Travis. Still, she's not the best babysitter around...
- Combat Pragmatist: Carries around bombs specifically made for various purposes, such as smokescreens or soundblasts, and small knives (and daggers).
- The Cynic: Plays a large role in Daryl's Graying Morality.
- Flipping the Bird: All the time - most often, of course, at Muneca.
- The Gadfly: Very much so. She gets called out on this.
- Groin Attack: Sheās a rare female victim of this.
- Hollywood Thin: Darylās been trying to get her to eat more.
- She's so thin (and light), Enlil was able to send her flying with her wind attack... Blow Her Away, indeed.
- The Hyena: Sheās this, especially when it comes to Muneca.
- I Just Want to Be Normal: Cinna doesnāt like her power of fire.
- The Infiltration: Apparently she's very good at this, so good that her own platoon never knew she does this until Bismun mentioned it!
- Lady Swears-a-Lot: By far the dirtiest mouth in the comic.
- Malicious Misnaming: She has a history with Muneca and Kathy, and it shows in how she talks to them.
- Cinna calls Muneca "Doll" and every thinkable variant of it. Stubborn doll, berserk doll, idiotic doll, Doll-Rex, and so on.
- She calls Kathy "Miss Pimples," "Pimpleface," and "Miss Bucktooth."
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: With Muneca.
- In particular, the reason Jacob hates her so much is that she once gave him her own special version of head noogie... called "Knuckles of Hell." (She uses her Playing with Fire power to intensify the pain... ouch.)
- The Nicknamer: Again, especially towards Muneca, who hates being called "Doll."
- Not a Morning Person: Confirmed by Muneca.Muneca: You have a bad habit of staying up late and sleeping late in morning!
- However, after the team decides to step up their act and start working out in the mornings, Cinna has been waking up earlier without prompting by others nor complaining.
- Noodle Incident: How she lost her tooth. All we know is that she started a fight...
- Believe it or not, but we finally got the story in chapter 69! She started a fight by teasing Kathy, who blew her top. Kathy smacked Cinna in the face with a hardcover Bible — literally Bible-thumping — and knocking out the tooth as a result.
- One of the Boys: Played with. Sheās not exactly averse to the girly stuff, but rather she wants a man who would like her for who she is.
- Playing with Fire: Her power type.
- Power Crutch: She cannot start a fire without fuel and oxygen. She carries around incendiary objects with her, such as the bombs.
- Real Women Never Wear Dresses: Played with. She normally doesnāt really like the girly girl stuff everyday, but she would dress "sexy" for dates.
- Scot Ireland: Averted. Sheās actually from Italy, but that doesnāt stop people from assuming sheās Irish.
- Shipper on Deck: She teases Daryl endlessly about Allan... and tries to get them together.
- The Smart Girl: Technically, her role is the intelligence and the guide of the platoon and she's also the default undercover agent. She certainly knows a lot about pretty much everything, and itās her job to keep up on tabs on the current events. However, the some of the planning goes to Taffe and diplomacy goes to Larima.
- Stealth Expert
- Stop Being Stereotypical: She doesnāt like it when people assume sheās from Scotland or Ireland.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Muneca, to put it mildly.
- They Died Because of You: Blames Muneca for Porenn's death.
- Toothy Issue: Sheās missing a tooth.
- Underground City/Under City: Cinna is from the Sewers of Rome. Most of the old, major cities have a sprawling underground section for the poorest of the poor.
- Youthful Freckles: Played with. Sheās 21, but Word of God is that she likes being immature.
Taffe Torbern
Taffe Torbern
A Pacificator of Air, rank B. The younger sister.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Every once in a while, she would intentionally cause Larima to be flustered and harried.
- Berserk Button: So far, she's the calmest member of the platoon, but we do see her having strong reactions (at least, for her) to two things: Larima being in danger and being teased about her crush on Gincoi. As it turns out, Taffe's also a little sensitive about her Hartman Hips, just like Larima.
- Big Brother Instinct: Or rather, Little Sister Instinct. She is very protective of her big sister Larima.
- Bilingual Bonus: She sometimes speaks in French.
- Blow You Away: The source of her powers.
- Bookworm: She's usually seen with a book.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: Word of God is that she was tested for high intelligence, but isn't very motivated. To top that off, she usually naps when bored.
- Brutally Honest: This is an actual trait of deaf people.
- Character Development: She seems to be opening up a bit to Daryl. Word of God is that she's normally quite distant with people.
- Combat Pragmatist: An interesting example in which she uses her deafness to her advantage against Gincoi.
- Deadpan Snarker: So far, Cinna is her favorite target.
- Death by Origin Story: Word of God tells us that their parents were killed in a war. Confirmed by Taffe herself in chapter 45.
- Did You Think I Can't Feel?: Taffe is pretty patient when people poke fun at her, until they tease her about her crush on Gincoi.
- Disability Superpower: She's deaf, but she uses her power of air to amplify sounds, which is how hearing aids work in Real Life.
- Exact Eavesdropping: A different take on the trope: Taffe eavesdrops on people quite a bit, apparently because sheās nosy and just could. Sometimes she manages to catch important tidbits from the enemies.
- Fights Like a Normal: She has a special combo. First, kick the guy in the knee. Second, smack him in the chin with a palm heel strike. Thirdly? Groin Attack.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Played with between her and Larima. Larima loves being a Pacificator, while Taffe isn't motivated at all because she never wanted to be one. Larima is something of The Ditz and a Genki Girl, while Taffe is The Stoic.
- The Glorious War of Sisterly Rivalry: There's friction between her and Larima; for example, Taffe refused to hug Larima back when they were reunited in Basque. According to Word of God, there's a rift between them. In chapter 42, they had a big fight off-screen...note and we finally see the fight itself via flashback in chapter 45.
- Groin Attack: There's a reason why her only footwear are those steel-tipped boots.
- He Is Not My Boyfriend: No, Taffe does not like Gincoi that way.
- Kick Chick: Look, she really loves Groin Attacking guys, okay?
- The Lancer: She's officially the second-in-command.
- Mundane Utility: Taffe uses her power to help her hear. If the top big-shots knew about this, they likely will reprimand her for this.
- Not So Above It All: Occasionally, she can't resist the urge to make Larima look stupid.
- Not So Stoic: She worries about her sisterās safety and sheās usually quick to leap to Larimaās defense. Very likely the reason she was so pissed at Larima when they reunited in Basque - Larima hadnāt told her that she was okay, so Taffe spent days worrying about her.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blue oni to Larima's red.
- Sibling Team: With Larima.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: With Larima.
- Surrounded by Idiots: How she feels about her platoon. Yes, including her sister. In fact, "idiot" seems to be her favorite word around them. Her second favorite is "moron".
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: Taffe gets unusually flustered whenever Cinna teases her about Gincoi. After that, Taffeās careful to not mention Gincoi in Cinnaās hearing.
- That's an Order!: She has very little motivation about her job, but when she gives an order, her platoon listens.
- Tomboy: To the point that she gets mistaken for a boy.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: With Larima.
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Since she wears pegasus hairpins, and on rare occasions, wear slightly girlish shirts.
- Voice Changeling: Has a talent for imitating other peopleās voices, despite being deaf.
- Wrench Wench: She specializes in taking apart guns.
Larima Torbern
Larima Torbern
A Pacificator of Water, rank Elite. The older sister.
- Action Fashionista
- Actual Pacifist: See Death by Origin Story.
- Ambadassador: Sheās renowned for her diplomatic skills, and is an Elite-ranked Pacificator.
- Aquaphobic Water Pacificator: Larima doesn't know how to swim, and panics in deep water.
- Attention Whore: The more charitable interpretation of why she uses her power all the time. (Seriously, she totally goes over the top in the usage of her powers.)
- Beware the Nice Ones: Word of God is that she has a dark side which she struggles to suppress; also see the encounter with Rendo.
- Berserk Button: Being mocked about her Hartman Hips; also doesnāt like violence.
- Oh, and do not mess with her baby sister Taffe. You'll regret it.
- Big Sister Instinct
- Bilingual Bonus: Occasionally speaks in French.
- Broken Ace: This is being implied more and more in the recent chapters.
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: People have a tendency to underestimate her.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: See the Ambadassador and Obfuscating Stupidity entries.
- Cuddle Bug: Taffe is her favorite victim, but Darylāve gotten a few glomps from her.
- Damsel in Distress: She gets kidnapped so often, her teammates are sick of it.
- Damsel out of Distress: She's foiled a few of her own kidnapping attempts.
- Death by Origin Story: This is why she hates violence; their parents died in a war.
- Confirmed in chapter 45.
- Death Glare: Has a scary one. See Beware the Nice Ones, and there's also the one she gave Ferdinand Cook.
- Death Seeker: She's shown tendencies towards this trait. Also, see the spoiler to Driven to Suicide for more.
- The Ditz
- Driven to Suicide: The darker interpretation of why she uses her power a lot.
- Using your power excessively shortens your lifespan, and we know that Taffe is deaf, and uses her power of air to help her hear. This means Taffe will die younger than her sister and friends. We also know that the sisters are the only family they have left; it's quite possible that Larima doesn't want to live without Taffe. She's trying to pace herself with Taffe.
- Dumb Blonde: The impression people get of her.
- The Face
- The Fashionista
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Played with between her and Taffe. She is very dedicated to being a Pacificator as opposed to the unmotivated Taffe, but sheās inclined to ditzy moments.
- Genki Girl: We see this only occasionally. The most memorable one had to be when she wiped out herself after taking down Yuma.
- Glass Cannon
- The Glorious War of Sisterly Rivalry: There haven't been any blow-ups between her and Taffe yet, but friction is there; Taffe refused to hug her back and preferred to room with Cinna and Qamra instead of her. Word of God says thereās a rift between them which Larima doesnāt realize yet.
- Larima now knows of it, thanks to their big fight in chapter 42. Let's just say that Taffe did not appreciate her actions in the previous chapter.
- Hidden Depths: She is very passionate about art.
- An Ice Person
- Irony: Larima is afraid of deep water, and doesn't know how to swim.
- Large Ham: Sheās had her moments.
- Making a Splash
- No Sense of Personal Space: She loves to glomp people she likes, especially Taffe and Daryl; sheās not shy about violating Cinnaās personal space, either.
- Exhibit A.
- And here's Exhibit B. But to be fair, Cinna had it coming.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Remember the Dumb Blonde entry? Well, look at the Ambadassador entry again...
- Parental Abandonment: See Death by Origin Story.
- Power Crutch: Without any water nearby, her power is useless, and itās not ethical to take water from a human body.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Red to Taffe's blue.
- Sibling Team: Her and Taffe.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: With Taffe.
- Soapbox Sadie: Sometimes played for laughs.
- Stepford Smiler: See those.
- Team Chef
- Technical Pacifist: Larima doesnāt like violence, but she wonāt hesitate to end it.Taffe: You donāt need to fight. All you do is just end the fights.Larima: Oui, I can do that.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Her and Taffe. Lampshaded by several people.
- Water Is Womanly: An Elite Pacificator of Water and a feminine woman who wears a flowing blue dress.
Bismun Volborth
Commander Bismun Volborth
The commander of Platoon 113. Just a regular guy.
- All Men Are Perverts: Averted, but due to his reputation, itās a case of Once Done, Never Forgotten.
- Badass Longcoat: A really nice one.
- Badass Normal: The only member of Platoon 113 without powers.
- Big Brother Instinct: At least Daryl thinks so.
- Everyone Can See It: With Qamra.
- First-Name Basis: Addresses most of his platoon (sans Muneca) by their first names, and allows them to call him Bismun.
- The Gambler: He created a squad full of T-Pacificators, even though many people thought it was a bad idea, and he recruited Daryl immediately, forgoing the usual four-years training.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: He's got got a couple of the good variety scars on his face.
- Katanas Are Just Better
- Last-Name Basis: Out of respect to Muneca, he addresses her as Miss Powell. Also, when the platoon are out on business, he calls them by last name for the sake of appearance.
- The Leader: The leader of the platoon, even though we donāt see him much.
- My Greatest Failure: The death of Porenn Carlson and the resulting Balkan wars.
- Nice Guy
- Once Done, Never Forgotten: He became the first commander to ever create a platoon full of T-Pacificators who just happened to be all girls. Oops.
- Turns out this was fully intentional. His first recruit, Muneca, specifically asked for an all-female platoon.
- Pride: A character flaw of his, according to Enrique, Qamra, and Word of God.
- Spiky Hair: Lampshaded by Breanne, who calls him "Conehead."
Allies
Qamra Umar
Commander Qamra Umar
The commander of Platoon 110. Specializes in intelligence.

- Everyone Can See It: With Bismun.
- Eyepatch of Power: She lost an ear and an eye to Yuma. That doesn't stop her.
- Handicapped Badass
- The Mentor: She trained Cinna.
- The Mole:
- Look carefully at "Odin" in the third and fourth panels. Notice the headband?
- Confirmed as of chapter 64. Qamra is indeed the mysterious "Odin" of the Renegades. Oh, and they're technically her covert, slightly-illegal platoon.
- Once Done, Never Forgotten: The "Harem Platoon" rumors which plagued Bismun has also spread to her.
- Token Minority: Qamra is a special case in a world full of diversity because J.A. specifically wanted a Turkey Muslim.
- Trick Bomb
Egmond Dumortier
Egmond Dumortier
Used to teach the Pacificators, but quit to become a mercenary.
- Badass Longcoat

Commander Breanne Geothe
The commander of Platoon 126. Specializes in history and mythology.

- Card Games: She is renowned for the game she invented, The Way of Fate.
- Cheshire Cat Grin: Just look at her picture!
- Practically every time she shows up, she'll be toting a Cheshire Cat Grin at least once... complete with her weird giggling.
- Just to give a small example, here's two of her most memorable grins.
- The Corrupter: A good example. She doesn't like the changes the Chancellor has done to the Pacificators, so she's working to bring him down and restore the Pacificators to the original Guardians of Peace.
- Elegant Gothic Lolita: She's well-known for her outfit.
- Establishing Character Moment: Hers was slightly anti-climatic.
- Everyone Can See It: With Christopher.
- At least, Shirley and Daryl could see it.
- Evil Laugh: She laughs like a snake. Hss hss hss!
- Giggling Villain: Subverted, since she's not a villain. She's still wicked, though.
- Groin Attack: Her small size does not stop her. Groin attack is one of her favorite attacks.
- Has a Type: Lampshaded by Shirley. Breanne likes tall people.
- She once dated Bismun (and the date would've gone better had Breanne not been such a Genki Girl during their date, according to Bismun).
- She's dating Chris. Although in chapter 49, it seems that they've broken up.
- And now she's developing quite the crush on Muneca.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Shirley. In fact, if it wasn't for Shirley, Breanne would've quit the Pacificators long ago.
- Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: With Christopher.
- Lampshaded by Shirley.Shirley: She has a taste for big men.
- And now it's a case of Huge Girl, Tiny Girl with Muneca. Breanne is developing quite the crush on Muneca!
- Lampshaded by Shirley.
- Running Gag: She keeps forgetting to correct the misspelling of her last name on her official challenge card. It's spelled as Breanne Geothite, instead of Geothe.
- Tricked-Out Shoes: She has daggers and pepper spray projectors hidden in her boots.
- Will They or Won't They?: With Christopher.
- Again, lampshaded by Shirley in a note she gave to Christopher.Shirley: One of my dreams is to arrange a big wedding ceremony. When you and Breanne decide to go for it, please give me a call!
- However, it seems that by chapter 49, they've broken up.
- Again, lampshaded by Shirley in a note she gave to Christopher.
- Working with the Ex: Bismun and Breanne used to date. Bismun broke up with her because he couldn't stand her climbing all over him "like a squirrel."

Christopher Bowen

Shirley Springer

- Heterosexual Life-Partners: She is very loyal to Breanne.
- Hidden in Plain Sight: People often overlook her, however...
- Hyper-Competent Sidekick: Breanne adores her, and she really gets things done.
- Sassy Secretary: Only towards Breanne when they're alone. Usually, she's very reserved.
Kathy Lee
Kathy Lee
A freelancer Pacificator of fire, rank Elite. Very good friend of Muneca.
- Asian Buck Teeth: Some speculate that she may has some Asian ancestry, due to her eyes and last name. If not, then this trope is merely Irish Buck Teeth.
- Apparently it's a slightly sore subject with her, because Cinna gives her a hard time about it.Cinna: Hey, haven't you filed down those rabbit teeth yet?
- Apparently it's a slightly sore subject with her, because Cinna gives her a hard time about it.
- Big Eater: She ate three whole apple pies in just four days.
- To be fair, they were Daryl's apple pies.
- Blessed with Suck: Like Cinna, Kathy overheats whether she gets too angry.
- Christianity Is Catholic
- Which doubles as Fridge Logic, considering that she is Irish. What is Ireland well-known for? Duelling Protestants and Catholics.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Big time. She's lost her cool several times, and a couple incidents about her losing her temper has been mentioned... with special mention going to the fight in which Kathy knocked out Cinna's tooth.
- Lovable Alpha Bitch: Her character profile on the website - and according to Cinna, even though she's biased - seem to imply this.
- Confirmed in the later chapters. Really the only people Kathy is nice and sweet to are Muneca, Daryl, and her superiors. Cinna, on the other hand, continues to be bullied by Kathy (although, to be fair, sometimes Cinna brought it upon herself).
- Playing with Fire: Her power type.
- Rise of Zitboy: While she seems to have learned how to live with her acne a long time ago, she does have them bad.
- Again, lampshaded by Cinna, who calls her "Miss Pimples" when she's not calling her "Miss Bucktooth."
- Running Gag: She loves Daryl's apple pies.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: As mentioned above, she helps out Muneca whenever she could.
- She gets called out on this by Cinna, but nobody else seems to have noticed.

- Trick Bomb: Like all Pacificators of Fire, she carries a bunch of those.

- Smarter Than You Look: In the latest chapters, surprisingly so.
- Too Dumb to Live: He mistook Taffe for a boy... twice.
Renegades

Shiva aka Kailash Mohanty
- Mysterious Past: It's implied that he may had been a Pacificator once.
- Confirmed in chapter 51. He was a member of Platoon 89, and he turned against them for reasons unknown.

One of Odin's renegades. Rank 8 user of air.
- Blow You Away: She's a very powerful user of air.

Aphrodite
Aphrodite
One of Odin's renegades. Unknown rank user of light. Also a supermodel.
- Boob-Based Gag: Got into a Volleying Insults fight with Cinna over whether Aphrodite's boobs are real or not. Twice. And the second time, it was in Italian.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Aphrodite has a lot of fanart. Also in-universe, because she is apparently a well-known and well-paid supermodel.
- Light 'em Up: Of the invisibility sort.
Hermes
Hermes
One of Odin's renegades. Unknown rank, and his classification is unknown as well.
- Cool Bike: He has a nice motorcycle. Too bad he's still learning how to manage it.
- Fragile Speedster: His power allows him to run really fast — yet he doesn't seem to know how to fight, and tends to wipe out pretty easily.
Khnum
Khnum
- Ironic Name: He is a Jew named after an Egyptian god.
- Reclusive Artist: In-universe, he's known for this.
- Chapter 40 suggests that Khnum was, in fact, the artist whom Larima had posed in the nude for before. Of course, they didn't know each other's identity at that time.
