This is basically what you get when you combine "Scenes from a Hat", "Which of your avatars fits the above description", and the Avatar Association Game.
First, someone posts a generic character description, in bold, designating the start of a chain (e.g. "Gentle Giants", "Characters with long tails", etc.) Other tropers then post avatars from their galleries that fit the description, until someone decides to start a new chain.
As a rule of thumb, you should wait until a chain has lasted at least four or five posts before starting a new one, but you can ignore this rule if the game isn't moving.
Let's start with: Characters with fire powers
Her attacks can be pretty darn difficult if you're not prepared
The thing that was gonna be powerful, then not, then powerful again
Rivenda from Dragon Project. This unholy dragon is a straight-up Lightning Bruiser that summons Goddamned Bats to distract you and redirect your Magi towards them instead of the Behemoth itself. The fact that this boss is both dark-elemented and covered in Dragon's Aegis makes this boss an utter Damage-Sponge Boss unless if you're using a good light set, assuming you manage to hit the damn thing in the first place, let alone destroy said Dragon's Aegis. Last but not least, this fucking dragon likes to ignore 99% of your Burst Sword and Shield's Parries, meaning you can't deal much damage aside from the slow and weak sword slashes. At least you can survive its ultimate attack where it summons 3 dark tornadoes that's basically a One-Hit Kill if you're not using Magis such as Quad Aegis or Escape Crown. Most of the time, that tornado ultimate is enough to kill your entire party.
Google Snake Game.Avatars that have all three primary colors

Korg has a very mild voice for being a huge rock creature (though it does fit his Gentle Giant personality.)

The Fume Knight is incredibly fast, can kill even the tankiest characters in three to four hits, and has ridiculous resistances against everything (which goes even higher if if you summon a Phantom). His AI is fairly smart, too; he'll vary his attack patterns to catch your dodges, he'll immediately counter if you press your attack too much, and he has a very quick thrust attack that covers the entire boss arena with near-perfect tracking, in case you think you'll be safe by keeping your distance. That was only in his first phase, mind. On his second phase, he lights his ultra-greatsword with abyssal flames, meaning his attacks do three different damage types at once (which no shield can fully defend against), and he gets even faster. The kicker? His boss arena contains four Ashen Idols that constantly heal him. If you destroyed every Ashen Idols on the way to his boss arena, you will only have enough Smelter Wedges to destroy three of them. Hope you read a walkthrough before even thinking of challenging him!
