More so than Wolfenstein 3-D before it, the original 1993 version and its sequel shaped the first-person shooter experience as we know it today and guaranteed that Id Software would go down in video game history as provocateurs, innovators, and legends. The third game is not as universally appreciated, with the general consensus being that its lean into the originals’ horror elements came as a detriment to the visceral impact of the series. It took a new corporate owner and a decade-plus of Development Hell (heh) for Id to get it right again, but when they got it, they got it. The reboot-cum-sequel revitalized a beloved franchise thought to have been dead, and work on an even more gruesome sequel began pretty much immediately. Thus ends the Slayer’s journey... for now.
I’ve played most of the episodes of the first game and about half of the 2016 reboot. Killin’ demons? Fun.
Darn. I’m drawin’ a blank. The extent of my familiarity starts and ends with the fact that it is a BBC thing about a gang in the 1920s.

It's the first game in the Zero Escape series, which is basically a series of mystery games about escaping from a room IIRC? Said series was also developed by Spike Chunsoft, the company that made the Danganronpa games.
A series that I've mostly heard about secondhand and was honestly surprised to learn was shonen and not shoujo. It's about some rich kid, his titular demon butler, and their bizarre adventures in supernatural dealings. Its fanbase also really enjoys paedophilia apparently.

A rhythm game by Taito, originally for mobile and later arcade but recently got a version for Steam and Switch, where you move across a line, hitting notes. There are a variety of note types, and the songs also have hidden "ad-lib" notes you can hit for more points and are needed for a full chain. Has a Space Invaders alien as its logo.
