A Pretty Cure series themed around dinosaurs. The mascots are little dinosaurs, and the monsters they're fighting are dinosaurs (mostly large theropods, raptors, and Triceratops for some reason) designed and animated by Gekidan Inu Curry. The main villain is a T. rex, also animated by Inu Curry.

Reception to the anime is mixed, some don’t know what to make of it, others like it for trying to do something real new with others disliking it for being too different and weird.

Another adaptation of The Boys that’s made as a Take That! to the original comic and points out how much of it is a Shallow Parody similar to what the Starship Troopers film is a middle finger to the original novel.

Billy's hatred of heroes is deconstructed by showing that he'll kill anyone he deems a "super", regardless of them being a threat or not, his teammates loathe him and only work with him to stop the genuinely dangerous superheroes. The superheroes have their bad apples but are for the most part just people, with Homelander suffering from controlling impulses of his childhood trauma responses so he doesn't become an evil tyrant. The actual villain is the government behind the supers and the end of the adaptation has Billy fully turn into a villain out of bigotry, with redeemed supers and the Boys teaming up to take him down and making a new, better world for humans.

Undertale Post-True Pacifist Ending, but with the twist of humans having been wiped out by the Simian Flu and a nuclear war with Earth being ruled by apes

People are initially excited for a continuation of the Undertale saga, only for it to be panned for the Plot Twist and Sudden Downer Ending. People now generally do the Genocide Ending just so that they don't have to deal with the apes.

Basically, all the villains are the Kyubeys, the witches are the Metal Gears, and the heroes are the magical girls. It becomes more logical than the usual Metal Gear stuff but is of course much more depressing as a result.

Get Out (2017) but if the races of everyone were swapped.

It's been 3000 years…

Instead of white people possessing the bodies with black people for their health and virility, the twist of the movie is that black people want to possess the bodies of white people to fit into society and not be marginalized.

With the even larger cast of characters, suddenly the plot has no ability to focus. Everyone is little more than an advertised extra. (Also the mutants don't end up doing anything anyway, so there was no reason to add them in the first place. It was all for nothing.)

It...just doesn't work. See Portal on how to make first person puzzle games work, and take that one Boxes World game on that one JonTron vid and imagine it in first person on how puzzle games take a LOT to work in first person.

A Lighter and Softer adaptation where Nyarlygarly is still the Big Bad but in a more Maleficent/Horned King sense. At the end our protagonists seal it inside of a void for eternity while the cult leader suffers a Family-Unfriendly Death as he is sliced in half by his own chainsaw.

The themes are definitely Darker and Edgier in tone, but they all get happy endings.

Also, it's basically The Land Before Time, but set in the Pleistocene era. Expect the sequels to be musicals.

Humbert is still a messed up (and horrible) person, but the title loses its meaning since Lolita isn't the focus due to Humbert targeting Charlotte. Either way people wonder why it's also a musical.

A Spider-Man cartoon that stars a college aged Peter, Felicia, Miles (Who takes up the identity of Prowler), and Gwen (Who creates the Screwball identity). In a case of Rogues' Gallery Transplant, the Evronians from Paperinik New Adventures are major villains. Also it takes influence from Spider-Man: The Animated Series as Felicia is based on her version there along with the inclusion of Rheinholt Kragov and Carnage being affiliated with Dormammu and Baron Mordo.

A My Hero Academia game done by a developer under Nintendo that takes place in an alternate universe inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) and Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog. It focuses on Izuku, Ochako, Tenya, Shouto, Shinsou, Mei, Kendo, and Himiko Toga (Who’s 15 years old) as they’re part of a resistance that aims to reclaim Japan after All for One took it over. Also The Other Darrin is in effect for most characters as the english voice acting is done in LA (i.e. Izuku is voiced by Xander Mobus, Ochako is voiced by Erica Lindbeck, Tenya is voice by Sungwon Cho (Pro ZD), Shouto is voiced by Ray Chase, All for One is voiced by Ron Perlman, etc.)

A 3D Kirby game, with story written by Gen Urobuchi and Akiyuki Shinbo, and with Gekidan Inu Curry designing the bosses, villains and some of the later worlds. There are also NPCs voiced by Aoi Yūki, Chiwa Saitō, Emiri Kato, and Eri Kitamura. It's also rated E10+.

The game ends up Darker and Edgier than other Kirby games due to Gen's influence but still ends up Lighter and Softer when compared to Gen's other works. The game ends up shockingly in line with the other Kirby games despite this. The Kirby fanbase accepts the new art direction and innovative storyline, and the Madoka fanbase heralds the game as the Spiritual Successor to Madoka as a whole. The new gimmick for this game is basically Kirby becoming a humanoid Magical Girl. Kirby's Magical Girl form uses a star rod and a Kirby vacuum that transforms depending on his current Copy Ability. The reason why Kaori Mizuhashi is credited but never heard in the entire game is simple: Her character gets killed off (decapitation, of course) in the prologue. A Bonus Boss voiced by Kana Asumi is also available. The reason why she fights Kirby is for their cheesecake.

It's basically another Danganronpa game with different mechanics, and a top-down perspective.

A sequel series to Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, with these new aspects:

• The new anime is overseen by Shinya Kumazaki. With Akiyuki Shinbo being one of the directors.
• Animation is fully in 3D CGI.
• Dedede and Escargoon fully joins Kirby's side.
• Introductions of game characters such as Bandana Waddle Dee, Adeleine, Ribbon, even Magolor and Taranza. Bandana Dee here is portrayed as a regular Waddle Dee who is promoted, and essentially replaces Waddle Doo. Notably, Bandana Dee, Ribbon, and Adeleine become major characters.
• Casting includes Aoi Yūki as the voice of Ribbon, and Eri Kitamura as the voice of Adeleine.
• A brand-new ally voiced by Chiwa Saitō. She's a fairy similar in appearance to Ribbon, but with a black/gray motif and longer hair.
• A brand-new villain voiced by Emiri Kato. He is an adorable cubical white creature, and a more actively antagonistic version of Customer Service, one that actively opposes Dedede (and just about everyone else) instead of being affable to him.
• Kirby speaks simple sentences, and is far smarter and more competent.
• The monsters in the series are designed and animated by Gekidan Inu Curry. They are sent out by the above villain. These monsters are usually abstract, but have some aspects taken from Magical Girl characters from other existing series (ex: A monster based off Minky Momo resembles a toybox with wheels, while one based off of Creamy Mami resembles a giant microphone).
• Has a darker tone than it's predecessor. For instance, a few good guys are killed onscreen here, and there's an actual overarching plot. However, it is very much intended for children, though aimed at an older demographic.
• The above villain is revealed to be attempting to take over Popstar to harness it's energy in order to stave off the Heat Death of the universe.
• The villain turns Tiff into one of the monsters later on, and the main characters ultimately kill her. This also spawns a horrible, though discreet, implication on where exactly did the villain get these monsters from. After this, our new ally above all but replaces Tiff, while Tuff and his family fade into the background.
• Thankfully, most of the main characters get a happy ending regardless.

People aren't surprised Nintendo would let Brace Yourself Games handle another one of their series. The game itself has remixed music from various Kirby games and while Kirby is the only character you can select from the start, his copy ability gimmick is brought in to let you essentially change characters during gameplay.

Sega now owns all the characters made by Ken Penders, Karl Bollers, basically every character Exiled from Continuity due to the Penders lawsuit and even the characters made for the Post-Reboot stories. Sega has decided to reboot Sonic the Hedgehog and part of their plans for said reboot is having the characters from various continuities alongside Archie Sonic such as the IDW comics, Sonic the Comic, Underground, Sonic OVA, AoSTH, Sonic X, Sonic Boom, etc. appear in the new continuity.

To test the waters to see if the general audience will be into the reboot. We get animated shorts ala Sonic Mania Adventures and Team Sonic Racing Overdrive that explore said world while Atlus is tasked to do an RPG spinoff that is meant to lead into a game done by Sonic Team.
