Super Bomb Survival is a ROBLOX game where you try to survive while avoiding bombs raining down on the arena. You earn Credits by surviving, which you can use to buy Skills and Perks to aid you in survival. You can find the game here.

This Roblox game includes examples of:

  • Achievement Mockery:
    • The Badge "Brave Yet Dumb" is earned by touching a nuke before it hits the ground.
    • Downplayed with the Badge "So Close!!" earned by dying during the last 30 seconds of the round. Although losing the round is not something normally considered an accomplishment, at least the game compliments the player for their close effort.
  • Air-Dashing: The Perk Air Dash allows a player to dash forward by pressing the jump button in midair. The player can only dash once every time they are airborne, and will have to touch the ground to dash again. If they own the 2nd Perk Slot gamepass and equip this Perk with Double Jump, they can dash twice before needing to land.
  • Anti-Debuff:
    • The Foolhardy Perk makes the player immune to getting stunned, confused, blinded, or unable to jump because of gravity.
    • The Unshakeable Perk makes the player immune to getting tripped over. This includes the tripping effect of the Skills Bubble Ride and Dive, which means this Perk synergizes well with those two Skills.
    • The Antifreeze Perk makes the player immune to getting frozen.
  • Area of Effect: Nearly every bomb and offensive Skill deals damage in a wide area.
  • Blessed with Suck: Sure, the Crystal, Hallow, and Aurora Wings are all awesome to use, but they do come with downsides. If the player gets hurt, their wings will shatter and deal even more damage to themselves. Then the player is left vulnerable on the ground until their wings regenerate. On top of that, winged players have to deal with pesky Wingseekers. The Wingseekers follow their target like Homing Rockets do, but are much faster and stronger. They only target winged players, making the sky not quite the peaceful zone wing users would like.
  • Blow You Away: Tornado Bombs and Tornado Mines release blasts of air that blows away players and objects.
  • Bubble Shield: The Skill Bubble Barrier inflates a large bubble that deflects bombs that get near.
  • Cast from Hit Points: The Skill Self-Destruct creates an explosion that deals 40 damage to nearby players, but 20 damage to the user.
  • Critical Annoyance: At very low health, the usual sound effect played when taking damage becomes louder and high-pitched, like a beep or even a cry for help.
  • Cycle of Hurting: If you are using Aurora Wings, avoid lava at all costs. If you fall into lava with Aurora Wings on, the shattered wings will freeze not only you but also a small area of lava around you, turning it into obsidian. The obsidian traps you in that spot in the lava, and you are left completely helpless as you watch the Death Trap send your Hit Points plummeting to zero.
  • Damage Over Time:
    • Burning and electrified parts deal 5 damage per tick to anyone touching them.
    • Toxic gas clouds deal 10 damage per tick to anyone who stays inside them.
    • Lava deals 25 damage every 0.3 seconds to anyone in it. If a player has the Fireproof Perk equipped, then the damage is reduced to 15 every 1.2 seconds.
  • Double Jump: The Perk of the same name lets the user jump a second time while they are already in midair. This Perk not only helps them jump to greater heights but also lets them dodge hazards.
  • Dub Name Change: In the game's Spanish translation, Aurora Wings are called "Alas de Invierno" or "Winter Wings".
  • Dynamic Difficulty: Each round has an Intensity level that decides the round's difficulty. The Intensity increases if most players survive the round, and it decreases if most players die.
  • Effortless Achievement: The player receives the Badge "It's A Blast!" by merely joining the game for the first time. Then they can get the Badge "Back For More" by joining the game a second time.
  • Enemy Scan: The Tactician Perk allows the user to see what Skills and Perks other players have equipped.
  • Expressive Health Bar: As the player takes more damage, the heart icon on the left of the Health bar becomes increasingly cracked. At very low health, the badly cracked heart also has a translucent pulsing effect.
  • Fantastic Flora: The Skill Heart Flower places a flower pot that grows a fictional plant. The plant a large heart in the center surrounded by three red leaves. When fully grown, the Heart Flower can restore a player's HP when touched.
  • Floating in a Bubble: Bubble Bombs blow large bubbles that float around the arena. If a player touches one, they get trapped inside and float around aimlessly before the bubble pops. While in the bubble, the player can only control where they are going if they have the Unshakeable Perk equipped.
    • The Skill Bubble Ride traps the user inside a bubble.
    • The Skill Bubble Wand creates a bubble.
  • Fragile Flyer and Fragile Speedster: All of the Wings (Crystal, Hallow, and Aurora) allow the player to fly high above the map and easily dodge any dangers with their speed. The catch is that if a winged player takes damage, their wings will shatter and deal an extra bit of damage to the player.
  • Harder Than Hard: 6.0 Intensity rounds, which are exclusive to Super Intense and VIP servers. Only those who have seen a 6.0 game themselves understand what it's like. It's an endless barrage of Nukes, Destroyers, Homing Rockets, Grimbells... even rare bombs like Glitch Nukes and Ultimate Destroyers are commonplace in a 6.0 round. Almost all of the land will be wiped out about halfway through, making it incredibly difficult to avoid the lava.
  • Harmless Freezing:
    • Players can be encased in chunks of ice when hit by ice explosions. They can't move while frozen, but soon they will break free and go on like nothing happened.
    • For bombs with different variants, most ice variants don't deal any damage. The Freeze Mine is a type of mine and the Ice Chaser is a type of homing rocket, but neither deal damage to those hit.
  • Healing Factor: There are plenty of Skills and Perks that restore players' HP.
  • Herd-Hitting Attack: Just about every offensive Skill is more effective on tightly-clustered groups of players. As an example, the seemingly single-target-only Smack Skill can hit two or even three opponents in one swing if the players are close enough.
  • Hyperactive Metabolism:
    • Pizzas instantly restore 20 Health when eaten. Boxes of pizza restore 50 Health, and an entire Giant Pizza heals a whopping 90.
    • Drumsticks can heal players who eat them. Each drumstick heals 5 HP for the player who created them, and 10 HP for other players.
    • Heart Flowers also heal players 20 HP when consumed (15 if consumed by the same player who planted it). However, it is unknown if the player eats the flower, or the flower heals players by lending its nature magic.
  • An Ice Person: Lots of Skills let the player use ice-related attacks.
    • Cold Snap releases a small area blast around the player that freezes other nearby players and terrain.
    • Freeze Mine drops a mine that freezes a large area.
    • Freeze Staff shoots an icicle projectile that freezes and damages an opponent if it hits them.
    • Ice Meteor summons a meteor that freezes an area when it hits the ground.
    • Ice Spikes causes icicles to shoot out from the ground and deal damage to enemies.
    • Ice Tower conjures a tall pillar of ice beneath the player so they can reach higher places.
  • Instant Flight: Just Add Spinning!: When using the Hover skill, the player spins their arms horizontally like a helicopter to fly.
  • Interface Screw: The Squid Bomb and the Ink Blast Skill temporarily cover the victim's screen in darkness, making it hard to see and look out for hazards.
  • Last Chance Hit Point: The Perk Last Chance lets a player survive damage that would have otherwise killed them, leaving them on 5 HP instead.note  It Only Works Once per round.
  • Last Ditch Move: There used to be a Perk called Last Trick that would spawn bombs near the player after they died. This Perk was removed and replaced with Last Chance because Last Trick was a useless Perk to have.
  • Magma Man: The Skill Earth Bomb spawns a bomb that grows into several hot lava columns.
  • Mighty Glacier: The Perk Tank gives the player 50 extra HP, but causes them to walk slower.
  • No-Sell:
    • The Skill Forcefield provides the player with a Deflector Shield that negates all sources of damage and lasts for 6 seconds.
    • The Skill Disarm causes all bombs within a certain range to vanish completely.
    • The Perk Fireproof lets players touch burning-hot parts without taking any damage. They still take damage from lava, albeit less (15 damage per 1.2 seconds, compared to the usual 25 damage every 0.3 seconds).
    • The Perk Shock Absorb gives the player immunity to all kinds of electricity, and recharge their Skill when hit by an electrical blast. However, they cannot recharge their Skill from electrocuted terrain or their own electricity-related Skills.
    • The Perk Gas Mask makes you immune to poisonous gas clouds.
    • Sometimes a Magic Shield powerup will spawn naturally. If the player collects it, they become invincible for 16 seconds as well as gaining a small speed and jump boost.
  • One-Hit Kill:
    • The Grimbell bomb instantly kills anyone caught in its blast. no matter what. Not even Forcefield, Magic Shield, or Last Chance will let you survive.
    • Lava used to instantly kill anyone who touched it unless they had the Fireproof Perk equipped. However, an update changed lava so that it deals only 25 damage every 0.3 seconds instead of instant death.
  • Playing with Fire:
    • The skill Fire Meteor summons a burning-hot meteor that descends to the ground.
    • The skill Fireball conjures a fiery-hot orb that burns any player it hits.
  • Random Effect Spell: Glitch Bombs and Glitch Nukes randomly choose a random effect. A few of the possible effects include freezing, electricity, gravity, stunning, confusion, and even Grimbell explosions.
  • Regenerating Health: The Regeneration Perk lets its user slowly restore lost health over time.
  • Revive Kills Zombie: The Skill Healing Pulse can be used to kill Zombies caught in its range. Killing a Zombie this way will give the player the "Zombie Slayer" Badge.
  • Self-Damaging Attack Backfire: The Skill Self Destruct creates an explosion around the user that deals 40 damage to nearby users, but 20 damage to the player using it. Using this Skill repeatedly will leave quite a mark on the user.
  • Shock and Awe:
    • The skill Shock Mine drops a mine that electrocutes nearby terrain and players.
    • The skill Storm Cloud conjures a dark cloud that can strike other players with lightning.
    • The skill Thunderbolt summons a lightning bolt above the user to strike the ground.
  • Sprint Shoes:
    • The Skill Super Dash boosts the player's running speed for a short time when activated.
    • The Perk Speed Runner increases the player's movement speed. The difference from Super Dash is that this Perk is always active.
  • Super Mode: If the player drinks a Supercharge Soda, their Skill will be upgraded and stay that way for the rest of the round. Supercharged Skills are stronger, recharge faster, and sometimes have additional effects.
  • Teleportation: Warp is a Skill that lets the player teleport. First, the player sets a point on the map to warp to later. Then, whenever the player wants, they can use the Skill again to teleport to their designated location.
  • Unblockable Attack: No form of protection in the entire game can protect a player from a Grimbell. Its blast can One-Hit Kill any player in its range, even those with Forcefield, Magic Shield, or Last Chance. Grimbells also cannot be removed using the Disarm Skill; trying to do so only increases the Grimbell's range. All the player can do is to avoid Grimbells at all costs.
  • Video Game Flight:
    • A winged player gets a decent jump boost when taking off, but there is no way to gain lift during flight. They have to slowly descend to the ground and land before taking off again. This mechanic is in place so that winged players cannot fly infinitely without needing to touch the ground.
    • There is an invisible ceiling at the top of the arena that limits how high a player can fly. If they touch the ceiling, they will ragdoll and fall down to the ground. This is especially problematic for winged players, who need to fly as high as possible to avoid dangers on the ground.
  • Weather Manipulation: The Skill Storm Cloud summons a rain cloud that will strike enemies with lightning if they get caught underneath it.
  • Wind Is Green: The wind blasts from Tornado Bombs and Tornado Mines are colored mint-green.
  • Wintry Auroral Sky: As the name supports, Aurora Wings leave behind an aurora borealis trail as the user flies. In contrast, the wings themselves look like giant snowflakes. The aurora trail is there to complement to the wings' winter aesthetic.
  • Yellow Lightning, Blue Lightning: Lightning bolts are bright yellow while electrified terrain parts flash between yellow and blue.
