Rin Penrose is the crowned prince (NOT a princess, as she has made very clear) of a kingdom in another world. Though she attempts to mask it with the elegance and stiff upper lip expected of a royal, she's actually quite eccentric and crude, with a sharp tongue and a flair for the dramatic.

- Abusive Parents: Jokingly acted like one to her genmate Yuko Yurei during couple therapy with Juna, constantly asking her to bring beer, and having cut off her legs and dyed her hair blue to make her into a Blåhaj.
- Animal Lover: Has a particular fondness for sharks, if her collection of Blåhaj plushies says anything.
- Atrocious Alias: Occasionally refers to herself as John VTuber, which warrants no further explanation.
- Badass Cape: She wears a black half-coat/cape on her left shoulder, complete with an epaulette.
- Big Sister Bully: Pretty authoritative and constantly calls her brother "Child". She even encourage her chat to cyberbully him during their first onscreen collab.
- Boyish Short Hair: Has multi-coloured, neck-length hair to compliment the fact that she's a Prince ("Not princess!").
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Rin is a very successful VTuber who managed to rapidly gain subscribers compared with her genmates and propelled her company to new heights. She also has eleven different Blåhaj, gives all of them separate names, has a tendency to fall into Angrish at random times, continually begs the Swedish furniture store IKEA to collab with her, and is also British.
- Butt-Monkey: Is the butt of many jokes at her expense, ranging from her genmates needling her to inside jokes set up out of Self-Deprecating Humor.
- Cool Crown: Has a small crown decorated with blue jewels that rest on the right side of her head.
- Does Not Like Spam: Rin calls coffee "the devil's juice".
- Everything's Sparkly with Jewelry: Has an amethyst-coloured brooch below her neck, and a cross-shaped earring on her left side.
- Exotic Eye Designs: Has heterochromia, with her left eye being blue and her right eye red.
- Fashionable Asymmetry: Where to even begin... her left eye is blue and her right eye is red. She also has mismatched stockings, with her right being longer and connecting to her waist via garter belts, unlike her left. She also has a partial black cape/coat on her left side, decorated with badges and an epaulette. Her hair is a different colour on each side as well, and she wears her crown distinctly off-centre.
- Girls Love Stuffed Animals: Has a ton of stuffed animals in her room, with her absolute favourite being Blåhaj, of which she has at least eleven (all of whom are named).
- Glowing Eyes of Doom: When she's angry, wants to come across as threatening, or has to drive home a point about something bad, she can make her eyes glow, complete with a shadow on her face.
- Gratuitous Latin: "Audentes fortuna iuvat", or "Fortune favors the bold", as showcased in her original song Golden Age.
- High-Class Gloves: Has elegant white gloves on both her hands, decorated with patterns up the sleeve.

- I Am Very British: Rin has a prominent British accent, which she claimed is her only defining trait.
- Impossible Hourglass Figure: Downplayed, but she does have a noticeable thin waist compared to her hips.
- Insistent Terminology: She is very adamant that she be referred to as a prince rather than a princess, to the point that she had her title legally changed (which is probably why she's so persistent about it; according to her, it took a lot of paperwork and legal red tape to be able to do that).
- Ironic Name: Her given name, Rin, can mean "dignified" in both Japanese and Italian. The irony is that she is the exact opposite of "dignified".
- Irony:
- Rin hates the number 3 because it has too many curves, but she was the third of her generation to debut.
- She is promoted as a proper British Prince in ads, but on-stream she is anything but.

- Lady Looks Like a Dude: Her androgynous looks, coupled with her calling herself Prince, had lead some fans to intially believe she's a male Vtuber.
- Leg Focus: Her short shorts and long stockings emphasize her elegant legs.
- Leitmotif: Her BGM, which is an elegant but fanciful jingle, fitting for the Prince.
- Mascot: Made one for her fans, a round ball with beady eyes and stubby legs, which she called Skrunkly.
- Motor Mouth: Talks very fast, especially in her shorts.
- Nonconformist Dyed Hair: Subverted. Her hair is black and light grey with purple highlights, while Gin only has grey hair. However, when the question of her half-and-half hair came up in a Q&A, she said it’s natural. Her only explanation is that her genetics are very weird and that she was born with a terminal case of anime.
- Omniglot: Rin speaks English, Spanish, Latin, French and Japanese to varying degrees.
- One of the Boys: Calls herself Prince and has a tomboyish demeanour, while occasionally referring herself as one of the lads during her collabs with male Vtubers.
- Picky Eater: Her debut mentions she dislikes most food, with alcohol, caffeine, and most varieties of hot chocolate suggested to be the worst of those pain points.
- Promoted to Parent: With how much she stressed that she "raised" her brother. It gives the indication that she did more in parenting Ben than her actual IRL mother.
- Prone to Tears: Has a tendency to bring her teary eyes out when things go wrong, or in order to emphasize a point.
- Purple Is Powerful: Is dressed in mostly purple to highlight the fact that she is a Prince.
- Queer Colors: Came out as asexual in August 2023, and her outfit has the color scheme to match (black, white and purple).
- Rebel Prince: Is a Prince, yet she acts nothing like one.
- Refuge in Audacity: Straight up asked management for money so that she can buy Pokemon plushies for herself, under the pretense of streaming it. They allowed it.
- Royal Brat: Is a Prince with a penchant for pissing off her mother with her existence and her management with her many, seemingly-nonsensical requests.
- Running Gag:
- Her obsession with Blåhaj, and subsequently her begging IKEA for a collab.
- The fact that she has to constantly remind her chat that she is British.
- She frequently implies that she has (or at least wants to) fist-fight her manager in the parking lot of a Tesconote .
- Self-Deprecation: Her favourite form of amusement. A lot of her jokes tend to poke fun at herself in some way, like exaggerating her shortcomings and stating her strategy is to do her worst. One of her playlists is called "Rin Penrose Lowlights".
- Shameless Self-Promoter: Is very good and unabashed about hyping herself up in her shorts, and plays this up for laughs when it comes to begging IKEA for a collab.
- She Is the King: Prefers to be called Prince.
- Signature Laugh: She has a laugh which can be likened to a pigeon cooing.
- Stylistic Suck: Her design for her mascot, Skrunkly, a round ball with beady eyes and stubby legs, befitting its name.
- Tomboy Princess: Is a girl with androgynous looks who prefers to be called Prince, and mostly acts like one of the lads.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: With her genmate Juna Unagi, who she treats like an annoyance whenever they collaborate, much to Juna's dismay. Though occasionally, she does reciprocate her affection.

- Annoying Younger Sibling: Really knows how to get under his sister's skin. Just look at their collab.
- Cannot Keep a Secret: A good reason why her brother took so long to be onscreen is because of Rin's genuine fear of him accidentally doxxing his entire family.
- Cat Boy: Is a black and white catboy in a similar style to OMORI.
- Computer Voice: In an effort to ensure that he does not dox himself, or anyone else. Rin forced him to use a computer text-to-speech device akin to Microsoft Sam.
- Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": His sister only refers to him as "Child". Very rarely does she utter his name.
- Practically Different Generations: There is a reason why his sister calls him "Child". He is still a kid.
- Troll: The collab is a pretty good indicator that he knows which pressure point to annoy the shit out of his sister.
- The Quiet One: Was originally forbidden to speak due to his sister's fear that his blabbermouth would accidentally dox her. His first collab immediately dispels such notion.
