Really?, aren't the ranks also determined based on popularity and how iconic a god is? Part of the reason Mario and Sonic are Greater Gods is, presumably, because they are THE video game characters, so, logically, one of the biggest patriarchs of the modern FPS genre would outrank the actual characters (like the protagonist of one particular work he's famous for working on, who happens to be a Greater God).
Either that, or I'm being an idiot. Either way, thanks for clarifying.
I can kinda see why the "Overdeity when using Starman" edit was removed from Mario's listing (even though temporary power ups have been used in listings, such as Mega Charizard, and Mario's the one most often using Starman), but why was Sonic's "Overdeity as Super Sonic or Hyper Sonic" edit removed?

No idea, but I think the difference between Mega Charizard and Starman is that the former is exclusive to Charizard, and the latter is a powerup item that most can probably pick up, even if Mario uses Starman the most.
Also, it's a better idea to post in the forum thread, since pretty much nobody reads the Discussion pages anymore.
Hmm, doesn't look like anyone suggests it. I recommend someone ascend someone as the God of Competitive [Insert Fighting Game Here], perhaps Street Fighter. Someone like, I dunno, Daigo Umehara or Justin Wong.
We should add Valtr, Master of The League, as Solaire's High Priest, since he is an Expy of him.

Maybe, but if you do you should also add that solair is kinda creeped out by him, enjoys killing, and the fact that he ate a beast.
So when will the player character of dark souls 3, the ashen one/unkindled/unkindled ash/lord of hollows/champion of ash, be officially added to the pantheon? Because honestly guys, they should have been added by now. Then again there's the chance they may be separate from the other two heroes, since the play style has been slightly tweaked. What do you guys think?
Should we add that Mario and Sonic become Overdeities when using Starman and as Super Sonic respectively?, or would that be too much?

- Neither can be without the other, so when they both ascended it was decided that they both be the representative of the title or else they would play games nonstop until one won, which would occur three days later and still be a draw after 500 games.
- Due to their declaration that "Blank can never lose", many gods have challenged them to play against them. Needless to say, Blank came out on top.
- Yu has taken a liking to Sora due to his protectiveness over Shiro and morals about her.
I think they would bit better as 'Those Two Players' to fit with the That One Player trope. Tet would probably fit better as a God(dess) of Games, given his position as Disboard's God. It wouldn't be too hard to point out that Sora and Shiro intend to one day challenge and defeat Tet again someday, with Tet eagerly awaiting that day.
EDIT: As an addendum, you could point out that they fought reallyjoel's dad to earn the title and won, with him being their High Priest.

I'd like to add a God pertaining to the Karma Meter. I have a proposition (Iji) in my sandbox, but I don't believe she really represents much of it, just wanted to add her in the Pantheon after seeing numerous indie games here (Eversion, VVVVVV, The Binding of Isaac, etc.)

A new god I have an idea for a God of the One-Hit-Point Wonder and, if its allowed, a co-god of the Empty Shell
Shedinja, God of One Hit Wonders.
- Demideity
- Symbol: A haunted Pokeball
- Alignment: True Neutral
- Portfolio: Mons with One HP, Abilities that can get around this, Literal Empty Shells, being disturbing, Being fragile to many things but immune to some very powerful things, Very Strange Ghosts and Wet Paper Cannons

- Allies: Wobbuffet, Rayquaza.
- Enemies: Tyranitar, Kyogre, any Power Nullifier

- The deed that got it into the pantheon? Utterly humiliating the much more powerful Kyogre by Cherry Tapping it down while shaking off all its attacks. Kyogre has sworn to crush it. Many legendaries have found ire for it because its immunity and False Strike has helped capture a number of them.
- While most legendaries dislike Shedinja, Rayquaza seems fine. Despite being vulnerable to Rayquaza, Shedinja helps out Rayquaza since its weather nullifying ability helps it against those pesky Sandstorms and Hails.
- Shedinja found a rival for position of One-Hit-Point Wonder in Super Meat Boy. It won over him because, while they both would be knocked out with one hit, Shedinja needs a certain attack to take it out. However since a number of deities possess one of its five weaknesses, it can't get much higher.
- Shedinja fears Tyranitar greatly, not just due to possessing his weaknesses but capable of summoning sandstorms, which can take it out easily.
- In spite of being literally empty, Shedinja has a cathartic sense of humor. It likes to use its ability to Troll much stronger Pokemon, which is why it and Wobbuffet get along well as troll buddies. It also likes to tease Audino for similar reasons. However, it doesn't wish any lasting harm, and as such is utterly disgusted by Terumi.
- It is said that Chuck Norris can punch out Shedinja without one of its weaknesses.
Okay guys, I propose a new god for the House of Gaming.
Maximilian Christensen, otherwise known as Maximilian Dood or The Online Warrior, as well as the creator of Assist Me! and Yo! Videogames, has this series called BOSS RAGE. This is where he goes and fights the hardest bosses of any fighting game he can get his hands on, on the hardest difficulty. So far he has vanquished Eyedol, Galactus, Cyber Akuma, Apocalypse, M. Bison (twice), Inferno, Shadow Jago, conquered Evo Moment #37, Gill, Oni twice, Evil Ryu, Shin Akuma, God Rugal, and The Master Core.
Just recently he avenged his fallen comrades, the Super Best Friends, after defeating Mutilator in Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. on Freak difficulty. For this reason, as well as the aforementioned conquering of bosses, I think it would be great to bestow godhood to Max, maybe something like...

Shouldn't the CPU's be a bit higher in terms of power? Since they seem at this point to represent Nintendo, Microsoft, Sega and Sony, without whom playing the games would be impossible (Minus Sega). Save the PC, though maybe that just means Peashy should be added.
If real-life persons are permitted in this Pantheon, why has Shigeru Miyamoto not yet ascended?!

I'd like to nominate Mr. Fish from Manly Guys Doing Manly Things as the god of Magikarp Power. With Jared, his trainer, ascending with him as his keeper. Mr. Fish himself is a Gyrados. One that is much bigger than others of his species. And since the Magikarp line is the Trope Namer for Magikarp Power, it'd be only fitting. Considering Jared also got an honorary diploma as a pokemon professor too, that could be a notable occasion for ascension. Or the time Mr. Fish learned hyper Beam.
Also, on that note, I would also like to nominate Ratatosk as the Lord of All Monsters and the Centurions as his servants. Both come from Tales Of Symphonia Dawn Of The New World. Ratatosk's in-story position was the ruler of monsters, with the Centurions handling the monsters of various attributes and answering to Ratatosk himself. I kinda feel such a position is significant enough to use, if there are no other possible candidates.
There probably already is someone using the position... but oh well. It's out there. Now to see if I'm being stupid or not.

This is about video game gods and such, but that title is referenced in his portfolio in Personal Appearance.

Technically speaking, when it was/is played on a console (or in the anime, a holographic system), duel monsters could probably be considered a video game. Also, his personal ability as the King of Games stems from his ability to quickly learn and master any kind of game. For example, Dungeon Dice Monsters.
On that note, why don't we have a house for classical games?

In a Runaway Guys Super smash bros brawl tournament that involved Diabetus and slowbeef, Chugga suggests that either them (or deceased crab, forrget which) be the Jesus of Let's Play. Proton Jon immediately shot the idea down. It's also because the Runaway Guys are the most prolific of Let's Players and it's through them and the guest let's players they bring in that they get recognition.

- Has find an ally in Barbatos as both of them support Anti-Grinding. In fact, if any one would try to use an item what can bounce off its magic, Barbatos would rush in and beat the guy before The Reaper would cast Megidolaon on them.
- Is no way the hardest Bonus Boss in the existence as the Investigation Team was able to three of them in teams of three. However, any one who is not prepared to face it will definely meet death.

So looking at few Gods from House of Combat, there are few gods who would probably be moved here. Geese and Rugal would definely be moved here, Dural maybe but what would happen with Ragu, Baal and Gabriel? They are Triumvirate Power of Bonus Bosses, but we already have Naoki.

Agreed. Also, since "His reflexes has been honed by Videogames", I say Ryusei Date needs to be in this as well.
Should Mr. Game and Watch still be an Overdeity? Cuz they changed him to Intermediate God in Space Manipulation and I think that's more appropriate.
