Last night: I dreamed that I was given the opportunity to review The Emoji Movie (twitch twitch) before it came out, which I accomplished by actually entering the movie itself. It wasn't the actual movie though, and was about as In Name Only as you could get. (I never even saw any actual emojis.) The movie seemed to be about kids making comedy sketches at a school. The sketches would make Seltzer and Friedberg embarassed over how dumb, shallow, and unfunny most of them were. I eventually left the movie to realize that I had nearly missed something I was going to, and asked my sister's husband to beam us into a van so we could make it on time. The beaming was botched and I missed the event.

Also, at one point I dreamed that Finding Nemo got a third movie, but it was done by someone other than Pixar who didn't understand the source material at all. The fact that the movie ignored the events of Finding Dory and had some really dumb casting choices (Nemo's classmates Tad and Sheldon sounded like Discord and Patrick respectively) were the least of its problems.

And there was one more dream where I was either playing Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Odyssey and found a level where Mario could ride (or Capture) a giant green grass dragon. (By that, I mean it appeared to be covered in foliage.) The dragon looked really cool.

Ooh, last night I had a great one!

I forget exactly how it started. At some point, I (well, my POV character) and some friends/relatives (I don't remember them distinctly enough to say whether they were my real-life relatives or not) were walking through some buildings in what seemed to be an airport terminal, supposedly to get to an airplane that we were supposed to leave on although I don't remember actually seeing any airplanes. We were making very slow progress because some little kid in our group kept getting distracted by things along the way. We never got to our destination because there was an attack by some sort of terrorist organization. (Supposedly the same group had conducted an attack in the same city some time earlier, something involving armed people in black special ops outfits rappelling from a big ship in a river onto a smaller bargelike boat underneath. That attack was dealt with in some way, but the police thought they had neutralized the entire group, and now it was clear they hadn't.) At some point the terrorists became known as 'pirates', although they weren't doing anything particularly piratey (they were acting more like anarchist rebels) and this name seemed to be what civilians were calling them, not their own name for themselves (which I never discovered). Most of them were carrying guns and many were dressed in those same black military outfits. After somehow escaping from the airport (but getting separated from my friends/relatives in the process), I ended up with a bunch of teenagers trying to escape from the terrorists on a big, bizarre-looking silvery-pink vehicle consisting of an overhead walkway with railings and two flights of stairs leading down to the front and back where the wheels were (with an arch inbetween, so that e.g. other, smaller vehicles could theoretically drive through it at a 90-degree angle). The vehicle was driven by a middle-aged woman who might have been the teenagers' high school teacher. We managed to make it a fair distance on this vehicle, despite almost constant fighting with squads of terrorists. But eventually we ditched the vehicle and split up into smaller groups. My group found a dark gray military-style armored truck that we decided to grab for the next part of our escape journey. One of the girls in our group claimed to be a good driver so we let her drive. I remember mentioning something about the truck requiring a lot of fuel, but the driver girl dismissed my complaint, saying we had enough fuel to get where we were going. Again we made it a fair distance, mostly along a sort of empty highway, but eventually we stopped and left the truck, I forget exactly why. By that point the city seemed to be full of terrorists, roving around either alone or in small groups, and they had already cleared out most of the civilians and secured some large sections of the city for themselves. Around this time we started noticing that the terrorists' guns were not normal models, but seemed to be a new kind of ultra-advanced projectile weapons, coming in a variety of shapes and sizes. Most of them were dark gray, and the larger ones seemed to be sort of 'shape-shifting', where you could extend them or modify them on-the-fly by pulling/pushing different components in and out, with dozens of small rectangular metal pieces automatically shifting and aligning to the gun's new shape. It was generally concluded that the guns represented some sort of 'alien technology', although nobody ever actually found any aliens. A short time later, it was discovered that the terrorists had another special technology, a green crystalline substance (large chunks were transparent with a sea-green tint, but when you crushed them up they just looked white like salt) that permitted a person to transfer to someone else's body. I forget how exactly the substance was applied, but basically if you had a handful of it and got up close to someone, you could shift your mind into their body and take it over. (I'm not sure what happened to the body you just left, I think it simply died, and the person you 'displaced' from the new body also disappeared.) This was the terrorists' 'secret weapon' since it allowed them to infiltrate anywhere they wanted by disguising themselves as civilians. My group had noticed earlier that all the terrorists seemed to be young and unusually good-looking, and now the explanation was that supposedly they were deliberately choosing young, healthy, beautiful people to transfer their minds into. I seemed to be the first one to figure out how to use the green crystals, and at one point I snuck up on a group of terrorists and transferred myself into one of them (or the body they currently held, anyway), a short, super-cute oriental girl wearing a dark gray military uniform and matching beret. With her appearance, and dressed in the terrorists' clothing, I was able to surprise the rest of that squad and shoot them all with impunity. After I revealed the usage of the crystals to the other civilians, more people started doing this kind of thing as well and before long we had captured a lot of the terrorists' bodies (along with their uniforms and weapons) and were pushing them back. Shortly after this, I and a bunch of allies were in a big firefight with some of the terrorists in an unfinished-looking industrial park sort of area covered in big flat concrete pads and huge metal girders sticking up all over the place.

I don't remember anything after that. Awesome dream, though.

Last night I dreamt that I actually joined an RP thread in the forum games, specifically "We Are Animals In a Zoo". I was a mountain goat named Rockie (based on this gag post I made), and I was escaping my enclosure. Don't remember if I actually posted it, but it seemed that I was roped in to joining it in the first place.

Guess my worries about the RPs taking over the forum games manifested even in my dreams.

In the one from earlier today I'm about 8 or 9 and in bed with someone old enough to be my father. Something had so terrified me that I needed to be held and made to feel safe while I cried myself to sleep.

I'm curled up into the tiniest ball I can manage. He is wrapped around me and holding me very tightly.

Last night's dream:

I was apparently in this gigantic strange hotel (along with a lot of my immediate and extended family) where we apparently now lived, and every other floor was populated by Funny Animals. The floor above us had birds, I think the bottom floor had cats and dogs, and the top floor was entirely populated by sharks. I remember that at one point, I had to go to the top floor for some reason. I went into the main hallway, passing by a small band in there for some reason, and to the elevator. After fighting with said elevator for a while, I made it to the floor and entered the hallway, which was crowded with sharks walking around (on their tailfins). I believe that I morphed into the same shark that I turned into in that Tiny Toon Adventures dream from a while back the moment I stepped out, thanks to every floor apparently being a Fisher Kingdom. I think I learned as I walked through it that the biggest of the sharks had declared himself leader over the entire floor (and maybe even the entire hotel) and was using his status to bully the other sharks and make them miserable.

Before I could do anything, though I "woke up" back in the room I was staying in and was asked to babysit my cousin while all of the adults went out. I began watching TV with my cousin when they came back and told us that nobody was able to leave the hotel. Of course, I had to wake up for real right there and then right when there was a major "plot" development.

Other dreams I had included one where my sister getting married again. She was getting married to the same guy, but they were just deciding to have the ceremony all over again for some reason.

Get ready for a long post. tongue

My dream last night started with a weird version of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. Apparently I had bought the game, and I was just fine with playing most of it, but I was too scared to play the last level. In this dream, the game apparently had a 2-player mode, and of all people, my mom offered to play with me, but I reluctantly decided to play alone.

In this dream's version of the game, at the very end, you were in some sort of laboratory, where the animatronics were all trapped in glass tubes... except Circus Baby. When you clicked her, she suddenly disappeared and began speaking to you. She said something like "You are going to die, but you are not done yet. You must spread the word, and tell everyone about us." Then she did a Jump Scare, and the game ended.

In the next part of the dream, I was on the last level of some other game. It was a side-scrolling platformer, and you were being chased by these giants. It was very Nintendo Hard.

In the last part of the dream, there was a Don't Hug Me I'm Scared movie. None of the characters from the original videos appeared, but it still kept the Surreal Horror aspect of the videos.

It started off with a bunch of poor people protesting at some fancy hotel/apartment building. One of the poor people, who was apparently the protagonist, snuck out of the crowd to explore the building, but got caught by this one really snobby rich guy, played by Neil Patrick Harris. The man was taken away by security.

I don't remember what happened after that, but somehow the man ended up in a golf course near the building, and discovered that under the golf course, there was a surreal world inhabited by DHMIS-style puppets, as well as traditionally animated characters in the Inkblot Cartoon Style. They all pleaded for help from the man, but he couldn't understand what they were saying, so he was terrified of all of them. All this turned out to be the work of the rich people, who were secretly working with Flowey. Flowey had taken a new form called "Nightmare Flowey". Although he used the familiar flower sprite to represent himself, he was now an Eldritch Abomination who possessed computers and other electronics to spread hatred, bullying, and every other negative thing that could come out of the internet.

Anyway, the man somehow figured out how to "fix" the world, making all the puppets happy. It turned out that many of the puppets were parents who couldn't find their children, and vice versa, so he helped a lot of puppet families reunite.

One of the puppets who was lost was a mattress who would previously belonged to NPH's character, who threw the mattress puppet out to buy a new, non-sentient mattress. The mattress puppet slid into place on the rich guy's bed. When the rich guy found out, he got mad and said he was going to throw the mattress out again. The mattress got mad too and violently beat the rich guy to death.

Meanwhile, Nightmare Flowey tried to kidnap the puppet children, but they beat him to death too.

Then there was a stinger where it turned out that the rich guy was still alive and wanted revenge... and then it switched to a teaser for something else. Apparently, the creators of DHMIS were working on an animated kids' movie, completely unrelated to DHMIS.

That's the last part I remember, but there's one detail I didn't mention yet: Judy Hopps was in the movie at some point, but she had a completely different voice with a British accent, and a filter to make her voice sound like audio from an old movie.

I was set to interview a country music duo that was using an abandoned church in my former hometown as a studio. I was at the church but for some reason, they were having a book sale there and I found a bunch of Calvin and Hobbes books. I also looked the duo up on Wikipedia and found they were actually a side project of a group doing better in Canada.

I ended up in a house near where my childhood friend Steven lived, and kept trying to get hold of the duo. They had left me a number that went to a prison in Montana for some reason.

I have had a reoccurring dream since I was little about people living in Teeth.

The earliest version I can remember was a cartoon sitcom about people living in teeth, specifically three of the characters from the Wayside Nick Cartoon, and a Sheepdog. They specifically had jobs keeping Teeth clean.

Eventually, I started dreaming about people living in my Teeth. Some dreams I would talk to one of them. I specifically remember a dream about talking to a small shadowy creature that lived in my teeth. He stood on my nose, and talked to me. I can't remember what the conversation was about.

At some point, the people started trying to escape my mouth. After I would dream it, my mind thought that it was because people kept getting killed, but I don't think this was in an actual dream, and was instead a post-dream connection.

But, about a year ago, things came eerily full circle. As cheesy as it sounds, I've been starting to dream that I live in someone's teeth.

I'm never actively trying to escape, or working, I'm always perched on the side of the gum, thinking.

Sometimes, the dream will be in the teeth of someone I know. Sometimes it's someone I'm interested in. Other times, it's people I'm frustrated with.

I don't know, I guess my life's a big teeth thing.

I had two last night.

In one, there were two car trains running down a track near the expressway, and there were people living in them, like some sort of mobile home.

In the other, there was this guy who had Dr. Seuss-style animation appearing before him on in his table while he was writing down song lyrics, which actually sounded pretty good.

I like to keep my audience riveted.

In my most recent dream I've been asked to hold two miles of front line on an alien planet ... alone. I'm wearing our field uniform: long-sleeve pink shirt and a grey knee-length pleated skirt. All I've got is an antique rifle, a personal shield generator, and 60 rounds.

I need to buy five minutes for reinforcements to land.

I aimed at enemy officers. My first six shots took out a General and four Colonels.

I had a bizarre experience of a dream today, though I only remember part of it, of the most eldritch quality however.

My viewport was in the main area of - I forgot the name - the first planet in Ratchet Deadlocked the player visits, (which is from a videogame I haven't played in many years). I saw a man: tall, dark haired, with pale skin, wearing dress pants and a dark red jacket decorated with golden (or brass iunno) trims, buttons and miscellanea that brought images of 19th century high-up military officers. He was carrying a large glaive in his hands, resting it on his shoulder; a large polearm with a dark red coiled hand-holding segment-part crowned by an opulent blade of noticeable circumferent profile. He was walking around, in the completely empty space, wandering aimlessly and swinging his weapon in a manner that displayed a rather silly disinterest.

The most bizarre element is that, I had in mind, from dream!common knowledge from dream!history books and the like, that this man was, in fact, Socrates! And that he was not the messianic figure of greek philosophy, but a halberdier (yes, inconsistency, he was holding a glaive) serving for an undefined european nation in the nineteenth century.

I found this dream absolutely ridiculous, as a matter of fact, I woke up laughing. But aight, enough wisdom, I have to sleep.

[down][down][down][down] Go figure, I have no idea how that happened but I somehow like it.

So I had a dream about some weird The Witcher game. First, I was using a dev menu of some kind to view several unused nude assets. Then, I played a mission where Geralt and Triss had to fight a ship full of pirates to get to the captain who, as it turned out, was Triss' submissive. She had this "The Reason You Suck" Speech full of exposition how an university student created and spread the legend a pirate captain to become him later while Geralt held him above the deck with the collar, and in the end she told Geralt to throw the captain overboard.

I don't remember what the student's real name was, but as the pirate, he was called Rafael (it was an Overly Long Name, with a typical long and double Spanish surname), and the first thing Triss called him was "Bottom Bear". Also, at one point there was a quest outcome interface that looked like the one in Renowned Explorers.

It's been quite a long while since I've last posted in here, but last night I had a pretty interesting dream, even if I don't remember it too well.

The initial parts of the dream I don't recall at all, but at some point I transformed into a Petting Zoo Person skunk, with all my clothes intact. Except I also started acting like a savage beast, as though I'd been darted with Night Howlers or something. Perhaps I was a were-skunk.

Instead of attacking anyone, though - and it should be noted that everyone else was still human - I ran away from the police through a subway. This was all in first-person perspective, as well, and I distinctly remember crawling down the sides of an escalator, whose passengers didn't seem particularly disturbed.

[up] You could make a Joker meme out of that - "Were-skunk runs rampant through the city, no one cares. Regular skunk sprays someone, everyone loses their mind."

I can't remember what my dream last night was like, but I faintly remember the dream from the night before last.

You know all those mobile games that blatantly rip off other, popular games? I found a game like that that was clearly based on Klonoa: Door to Phantomile... but it was actually pretty good.

The protagonist, whose name I can't remember, looked like Klonoa, but more like a fox than a cat. He was going on an adventure through dream worlds. The game was a 2D platformer with 3D graphics. The first boss was basically a Palette Swap of Joka, but despite being a Captain Ersatz, he was a pretty good character in his own right. The battle against him was a lot of fun. His name was something like "Okomesu" (probably a warped memory of other tropers talking about Osomatsu-kun. :P)

So anyway, I beat Okomesu, but instead of continuing the game, the dream... changed. I was suddenly in a Dark Fantasy world, and I actually was the Klonoa/fox character. I was in a medieval land with a bunch of characters who were apparently my brothers, despite being human. Maybe I was adopted. tongue.

I don't remember much after that, except that although all my "brothers", were much bigger, taller, and stronger than me, the biggest, tallest, and strongest (and presumably the oldest) was very stern. I get the feeling he didn't like me. tongue

In my dream last night, I was in this weird movie. It was a Stop Motion movie, and the art style resembled a Tim Burton movie, but other than that, it was very un-Tim-Burton-like. tongue

It was kind of like a Slice of Life movie, about a group of high schoolers who are friends, despite living in a mostly bleak and miserable world. The Big Bad of the movie was the school principal (voiced by Glenn Shadix, and also modelled after him), who was utterly convinced that the teens were up to no good, apparently simply because they were teens. So he stalked them constantly, even when they weren't at school. He also had a crush on one of the teen girls.

It was surprisingly funny, with a lot of lampshading and Medium Awareness. For a long time, everyone walked so stiffly because they knew they were in a stop-motion movie, until one character pointed out that it was possible for them to move fluidly, and then they finally started walking normally.

I had a dream the other night that was a collection of "sketches" all taking place in the same story. It involved a national park that was about to celebrate its anniversary ; however, the foundation of said park had been made possible by massacring a Native American tribe that was living in the area, so as the anniversary draws closer a curse occurs that is making animal life feral. It starts with "mundane" occurences, like park rangers getting mauled by bears and gliding enthusiasts tourists getting attacked by eagles and other birds of prey, but after a while the animals don't just become agressive, but also start mutating. The last "sketch" I remembered involved people being forced to cross a highway (in the middle of a national park, yes ; it's still a dream) for escaping scorpions as big as buses, only to end up in a portion of the forest that had been taken over by some hybrids between spiders and Xenomorphs. Said creatures had laid eggs everywhere from which came parasites that attacked people and turned them into zombies, headcrab style.

This dream is set during the late Stone Age and values are different.

I'm very young and have just been sold off to be some stranger's wife. Before I leave with him my mother pulls me aside and explains what'll happen to me, that it will hurt, and the consequences of resisting.

The next part starts with me naked and in bed. I'm waiting for the man who bought me to join me. I'm absolutely dreading his arrival. When he does join me I offer him my body like I'm supposed to because, well, I don't have any say in the matter.

He can tell I'm frightened of him. He pulls me close and reassures me that he's not going to injure me on purpose.

I won't describe the NSFW things which happen next except to say: he was rough with me.

After he's done I'm very sore, quite tired, and mostly uninjured.

I am a proper young lady who does not bite her father at the dinner table. My relaxing music playlist.
