Got this for How to Get Away with Murder:

  • Violence Is Disturbing: The show constantly depicts all violence in a completely unglamorous and as utterly grotesque, painful and visceral as possible. Witnessing violence always has a serious effect on those present, regardless of who they are or how much violence they have encountered by this point. Michaele is reduced to a hapless wreck whilst watching Asher deliver a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown to Connor; Annalise is clearly severely shaken by witnessing Rose’s suicide. Even Frank breaks down into tears after being forced to strange a hitman.

You only have two items, so it's better to join them with an "and".

[up][up][up][up] Short stories get double-quotes, not italics (like tv episodes), so that should be "The Lair of the Star Spawn", not The Lair of the Star Spawn. See How to Create a Work's Page ("What emphasis do I use for the title?") and How to Write an Example ("Emphasis for Work Names").

Adding some new words.

For Ultraman Geed:

For Ultraman Zero:

  • Ultra Fight Orb: During his investigation in Planet Yomi, Zero encountered a revived Juda Spectre and Mecha Gomora before Orb saves him defeating both villains. Moments later, the two are greeted by the mastermind Reibatos, as the sorcerer Reionics revive six monster before heading to Monster Graveyard. After destroying Vict Lugiel and Hyper Zetton, Zero urges Orb chase the mastermind before Jack, Seven and Zoffy came to his aid. After Orb failed to intercept Reibatos, Zero and Seven sent him into the Shining Field to train him and allows Orb to utilize his and his father's power as Ultraman Orb Emerium Slugger.
  • Ultraman Geed: Zero is set to appear in this series. He comes to Earth with Geed, but due to a previous battle, his power weakened, as his Ultimate Bracelet become unusable. He's soon bond with a human named Reito Igaguri, a salaryman who risked his life to protect a child from a traffic accident, therefore saving his life. While Reito prefers watching the battle from afar, Zero's impatient combined with his Spirited Competitor nature, forcing his new host to join Geed as well.

Random tropes for Urban Rivals, a simple online card game I sometime play, then stop, then play again ecc... And has, surprisingly, very few tropes for a game with 1400+ cars.

I could've listed a lot of more tropes (again, it has 1400+ cards) but for now I'll start with these.

  • Zero encountered -> Zero encounters (How to Write an Example - Write in Historical Present Tense)
  • Orb saves him defeating -> Orb saves him by defeating
  • the sorcerer Reionics revive six monster before heading to Monster ->

  • Zero urges Orb chase...came to his aid -> Zero urges Orb to chase...come to his aid
  • After Orb failed to...sent him...train him and -> After Orb fails to...send him...train him, which

  • Ultraman Geed: Zero is set to appear in this series.

If the series hasn't come out yet, adding an example violates How to Write an Example - Don't Speculate, Don't Prognosticate. The whole example is illegal.

  • Badass Army: La Junta clan is literally this trope, having the army as a theme.

This is literally a Zero-Context Example. It needs more information to show how it fits the trope.

Again, this is a Zero-Context Example.

Wow, that was fast. Ok, here's the correction.

Thanks. So, I have to remember:

  • Check if everything is written correctly (like "tough" instead of "though")
  • -The nation-related adjectives are capitalized (even nouns, like "British"?) and other capitalization issues.
  • Zoo is capitalized (maybe even other important buildings, like Bank or Grocery?)
  • The use of Has/Have (I know how it works, I just have to remember it)
  • More importantly, how to not make a zero-contest example.

Tekken 7 -> Kazumi Mishima Née Hachijou:

  • Abusive Parent: What she truly is. She was sent to kill the Mishima's by her family and that means every Mishima, Kazuya included. When Akuma wouldn't kill then right there and then (being Noble Demon Blood Knight with a code of honor and all) after she made a deal with him, since they were not strong enough to give him a challenge, she took matters into her own hands. Yep She is worse than Heihachi.

  • Action Girl: She was trained by the Mishima's and was Heihachi's sparring partner before marrying him. So she is well able to sent grown men flying with just brute strength.

  • Evil All Along: Being the daughter of a family of devil gene carriers and all. There is a reason that people say she cursed the Mishima's with her blood.

  • Going Commando: She doesn't have any underwear in her devil form. Instead one of the crystals that devil from creates (which also turns red during rage mode) cover her privates since any clothing that is too close to her skin is destroyed when she transforms.

  • Straw Hypocrite: Claims that the Mishima are scum. That is rich coming from a Honey Pot that would put a hit on her own son.

  • Red Herring: Big time. In the trailers we are lead to believe that Heihachi struck first out of necessity and that the Mishima's evil began with Heihachi and his evil combined with her devil gene would make Kazuya a threat as well, so he had to be mercy killed to save him from becoming just like his father. In reality, She and her family just wanted to kill off the Mishima's for an unspecified reason.

  • Smug Snake: Once her true colors are revealed. She is shown to be very full of herself.

  • Slasher Smile: Holy. Shit! As if you didn't need anymore proof she is pure evil.

  • The Sociopath: She definitely is on in her devil form But considering that uniting with one's devil half is required to transform without losing control, she may have been one prior to meeting Heihachi. The sheer amount of arrogance she has when she decides to kill Heihachi and toying with his emotions is sicking and even when she speaks the truth about Heihachi becoming an evil arms developer if he kills her, she is just using it as a means to get a cheap shot at him. Instead of her having come to her senses and apologize for her crazy behavior like any normal person would. She doesn't even considers Kazuya to be family, just another Mishima to be killed off, which leaves him believing in a lie his whole life.

  • Statuesque Stunner: She is pretty close to heihachi in Height, who is 5'11 at his prime. so she is approx. around 5'9 tall.

Tekken -> Heihachi Mishima:

  • Affably Evil: Used to be a genuinely nice guy with a ruthless streak before Kazumi attempted to kill him. After that he became an utter dick that only fakes kindness to look good.

  • Don't Make Me Destroy You: He was really patient with Kazumi when she attacked him, which is completely unexpected considering he ruthless as fuck. But when push comes to shove, he was not afraid of freaking uppercutting her in the groin to stop her rampage and would have spared her if she didn't stubbornly continue to fight him. Forcing him to kill her.

  • Disaster Dominoes: Oh boy where do even we start. In the year everything went to shit for him and began his Start of Darkness, was the moment he locked up his dad, Jinpachi within Honmaru. Which ended up starting a chain of events that fucked up everybody. after he locked him up it is implied that it gave his wife the opportunity to kill him cleanly without arousing suspicion to her crime, which then lead to him killing her in self-defense and tossing Kazuya off a cliff. The rest is history.

  • Good Parents: Shocking as it might be. He did love his family until Kamuzi revealed herself as a devil gene carrier. Even after he tossed Kazuya of a cliff. It was more a twisted test to see if he carried the devil gene and if he would rely on it to survive

  • Freudian Excuse: Killing Kazumi after it's revealed that she only married him so she could get close and kill him and being forced to kill her in self-defense pretty much broke him. Turning him into the asshat he is today.

  • Nice job breaking it Heihachi: Heihachi's attempts to stamp out the devil gene just caused it to manifest in Kazuya and Jin as both mental and physical trauma triggers it. In Jin's case he had no damn excuse for attempting to kill him as Jin was loyal and looked up to Heihachi until he got a bullet between the eyes.

  • I Am Not Left-Handed: Heihachi has a form similar to Shin Akuma and shows his own son just why he is so damn hard to kill. In game, during the final round. He starts off with low health after surviving Kazuya's Rage Art, but Kazuya's attacks barely scratch him afterwards. And this is Kazuya in his Full Power Devil Form!

  • Stronger with Age: Heihachi was lucky he wasn't as strong as he was when he was younger, otherwise Akuma would have jumped him by then. Which is quite impressive considering that he is 75 years old when he and Akuma finally clash.

  • Took a Level in Badass: After his loss in the Tekken1, he got stronger to the point he could hand Devil Kazuya his ass and toss him into a volcano. He has more or less has been getting gradually stronger since then, in spite of his advanced age. To the point it was only after Kazuya transformed beyond his classic devil form he finally able to beat him.

  • Tragic Villain: As much as a dick as he is, Heihachi has pretty much lost his faith on the concept of family since realizing Kazumi had the devil gene and passed it on to Kazuya. None of his son's, biological or adopted have any respect or loyalty to him. He made an enemy of his own first born and his grandson, the latter would have gladly have aided him in defeating Kazuya if he didn't shot him. He may still have hold some guilt and regret for his dipshit actions. That said. He pretty deserves as much pity as he does hate as he went off the deep end after killing Kazumi and takes all of his grief out on Kazuya and Jin for having the devil gene.

"Zoo is capitalized (maybe even other important buildings, like Bank or Grocery?)"

It depends on whether the zoo has the title of "Clint City Zoo". If so, Zoo is capitalized because it's part of a proper noun.

I checked online and almost every time "Clint City Zoo" appeared, the "Zoo" was capitalized.

Thanks Arivne, and here's another bunch of tropes! Let's hope this time is better, I don't like being suspended sad (Like anyone else, obviously)

Still for Urban Rivals

  • An Ice Person: Some characters have ice/cold-based powers, and most of them are in the Frozn clan.
  • Ax-Crazy: Most, if not all, members of the Berzerk clan are completely furious as effect of the xantiax gas.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: Dregn and Maana Cercei (guess who she's based on?) who not only were married and had a daughter, but they're also the leaders of two rivals clan, the Vortex (based on the galactic empire) and the Hive (the rebels).
  • Color-Coded Armies: Every clan has its own color theme, and in some of them every member follows it, in alphabetical order:
    • All-Star's is cobalt-blue and black.
    • Bangers' is silver.
    • Berzerk's is red.
    • Fang Pi Clang's is silver.
    • Freaks' is red and white.
    • Frozn's is light-blue.
    • Gheist's is red and black.
    • Hive's is white, purple and yellow.
    • Huracan's is green, red and yellow.
    • Jungo's is dark-burgundy and mustard-yellow.
    • Junkz's is neon-orange.
    • La Junta's is camouflage green.
    • Montana's is royal purple.
    • Nightmare's is black and grey.
    • Pirana's is black and white.
    • Pussycats' is pink.
    • Rescue's is royal-blue and silver.
    • Riots' is grey and copper.
    • Roots' is yellow, green and red.
    • Sakrohm's is yellow and grey.
    • Sentinel's is navy-blue and gold.
    • Skeelz lack of a common, due to being divided into classes which have their own colour.
    • Ulu Watu is white and ocean-blue.
    • Uppers' is jade-green.
    • Vortex is gold and purple (I guess, the other wiki doesn't list it, but all the characters follow more or less these colours)
  • Everything Is Better With Dinosaurs:
    • Kolos, who starts as an egg and becomes a huge horned tyrannosaurus, and Mecha Kolos.
    • Then there's the Raptors clan, which is dinosaur themed and most members trained at least a dinosaur, or is one.
  • New-Age Retro Hippie: The member of the Roots clan are either this kind of character, enviromentalists or simply people (or sometimes animals) very close to the nature.
  • One-Winged Angel: Some of the cards evolution consists in the character transforming into something more powerful and monstrous, whether the transformation is reversible or not it's not always clear.
  • Pink Is Feminine: The main colour of the Pussycats is pink.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: Guess what Gheist's theme color is?

  • the Frozn clan. —> I assume you spelled it like that on purpose because it was like that originally in the work, rather than "Frozen"?

  • Ax-Crazy: Most, if not all, members of the Berzerk clan are completely furious as effect of the xantiax gas. —> completely furious as an effect of the xantiax gas. Also, again, Berzerk is probably spelled like that on purpose as a name, rather than "Berserk"?

  • Skeelz lack of a common —> Skeelz lack a common colour,

  • consists in the character transforming into something more powerful and monstrous, whether the transformation is reversible or not it's not always clear. —> consists of the character transforming into something more powerful and monstrous; whether the transformation is reversible or not is not always clear.

Side Note :-) - When alphabetizing, you should ignore "A / An" and "The" - "An Ice Person" goes under the I, not under the A. And all numbers go before all letters, thus The '80s goes above "A", not under either "T" or "E". More in How to Alphabetize Things.

For my project of create a page for the movie Gomorrah

Gomorrah (Gomorra in italian) is a 2008 Neapolitan-language Italian film directed by Matteo Garrone, based on the book by Roberto Saviano, who also collaborated in the screenplay. It deals with the Casalesi clan, a crime syndicate within the Camorra — a traditional criminal organization based in Naples and Caserta, in the southern Italian region of Campania.

The film intertwines five separate stories of people whose lives are touched by organized crime.

  • Don Ciro (Gianfelice Imparato) is a timid middleman who distributes money to the families of imprisoned Di Lauro clan members.
  • Totò (Salvatore Abruzzese) is a 13-year-old grocery delivery boy who witnesses some drug dealers abandon a bag of drugs and a gun while evading the police at Sette palazzi in Scampia.
  • Roberto (Carmine Paternoster) is a graduate who works in waste management. His boss, Franco (Toni Servillo) provides a low-cost toxic waste disposal service that allows northern industrialists to dispose of materials like chromium and asbestos in the countryside of southern Italy.
  • Pasquale (Salvatore Cantalupo) is an haute couture tailor who works for Iavarone (Gigio Morra), a garment factory owner with ties to the Camorra.
  • Marco (Marco Macor) and Ciro (Ciro Petrone) are two young wannabe-gangsters who try to operate their own small racket independently of the local clan.

Not confuse with Gomorra, a 2014 television series loosely based on the same book, but unrelated to the film.

Tropes in this film:

  • The Mafia: The story takes a rather more realistic view of the Camorra clans in Naples and Caserta, showing how they create a climate of fear, murder and corruption that infects all levels of society.
  • Plot Parallel: The film intertwines five separate stories of people whose lives are touched by organized crime.
  • Child Soldiers: Downplayed. Totò enter in the clan, but he never took a gun. Howewer his role is important in Maria's death; is forced to lure her out of her apartment, where his comrades execute her.
  • Crapsack World: Scampia and Secondigliano like in Real Life.
    • Scampia is regarded as a ghetto. Tolerated and ignored by the government, more people started to occupy the buildings including criminals. Half of the story is set in the famous Vele di Scampia (Sails of Scampia), triangular shaped buildings reminiscent of a sail.
    • The Secondigliano area that has enormous social problems: high unemployment, truancy and drop-out rate from school, drugs and the pervasiveness of organized crime.
  • Cycle of Revenge: The feud within the clan is all about this. When one of Totò's gang is killed in a drive-by, the gang members decide to stand their ground and exact violent retribution by selecting a woman, Maria (Maria Nazionale), as their next victim, as her son has joined a clan of Secondigliano scissionisti.
  • Evil Versus Evil: The Faida di Scampia (Scampia feud) is the backdrop of the entire movie. The Faida erupts between members of the Di Lauro syndicate and the so-called scissionisti (separatists), who are led by Raffaele Amato, brother of two of the killed men in the opening scene.
  • Rewarded as a Traitor Deserves: Averted. Pasquale takes a night-job training Chinese garment workers. As they are competing with Camorra-controlled firms, the Chinese drive him to and from work in the trunk of their car. His secret work is discovered nonetheless, and his Chinese associates are killed in a drive-by. He survives thanks to his boss, but is not happy.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here:
    • Roberto decides to quit his job and tells Franco he cannot bring himself to poison the earth, to which Franco says that he shouldn't think he is the better man, because thanks to the actions of people like them Italy was able to enter the European Union, solving problems others had caused. Roberto walks alone on a desolate countryside road.
    • Pasquale. After survived the attack, he resigns his job. Later, working as a truck driver.
  • Shown Their Work: Like in the original book, it is showed how the Camorra is involved in various and different criminal business: from drug trafficking to illegal landfills.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Marco and Ciro. These two idiots steal some weapons from Camorra gangsters and ignore every warning from the local mob chieftain Giovanni. Guess what happens to them.
  • Villain Protagonist: The characters are all criminals or tied with them.

For my project "of create" a page for the movie Gomorrah —> For my project [either: "to create", or better yet, "of creating"] a page ...

  • collaborated in the screenplay —> collaborated on the screenplay

  • a bag of drugs and a gun while evading the —> a bag of drugs and a gun, while evading the

  • Roberto (Carmine Paternoster) is a graduate —> Roberto (Carmine Paternoster) is a graduate student (IF that character is still in university... If the character has already graduated, it would rather be "Roberto has graduated University, and works...")

  • northern industrialists —> Northern-Italian industrialists ''(assuming you mean "from the Northern part of Italy", rather than a general "from the Northern hemisphere of the world..." <— in the latter case, it would just be "industrialists from the North").

  • chromium —> Chromium (Chemical element —> capitalized in English)

  • The Mafia: The story takes a rather more realistic view of the Camorra —> The Mafia: The story takes a rather realistic view of the Camorra (You can drop the "more")

  • Child Soldiers: Downplayed. Totò enter in the clan, but he never took a gun. Howewer his role is important in Maria's death; is forced to lure her out of her apartment, where his comrades execute her. —> Child Soldiers: Downplayed. Totò enters the clan, but he never took [takes? 1)] a gun. However, his role is important in Maria's death; he is forced to lure her out of her apartment, where his comrades execute her.

1) You switch from present tense ("enters the...") to past tense (took a gun). In the guidelines for this Wiki it is recommended to write up everything in present tense, so "he never takes a gun" would be better - unless you deliberately phrased it like that because "took a gun" In Universe happened before everything else.

  • Scampia is regarded as a ghetto. Tolerated and ignored by the government, more people started to occupy the buildings including criminals. Half of the story is set in the famous Vele di Scampia (Sails of Scampia), triangular shaped buildings reminiscent of a sail. —> Scampia is regarded as from the ghetto / as a ghetto person. [...] Tolerated and ignored by the government, more people started to occupy the buildings including criminals. —> Tolerated and ignored by the government, more people start [Examples are to be written in present tense, in general] to occupy the buildings, including criminals.
  • two of the killed men in the opening scene. —> two of the men who were killed in the opening scene.
  • Pasquale takes a night-job —> Pasquale takes a night job
    • Pasquale. After survived the attack, he resigns his job. Later, working as a truck driver.
Pasquale. After he survived the attack, he resigns from his job. Later, he's working as a truck driver.

[up][up][up] @rafi

Some additional corrections:

  • Gomorra in italian -> Gomorra in Italian

We have an major problem. Everything before the tropes section (except for the last sentence) is directly copied from the Wikipedia page on Gomorrah. This is an extremely serious offense called plagiarism and you absolutely cannot do it here. It is a violation of TV Tropes rules for which you could be suspended by the moderators.

You must re-write all of it in your own words, as well as any other information you directly copied from that page (see Plot Parallel below).

I will not be correcting anything else in that copied section.

  • Plot Parallel: Text copied from Wikipedia. Please re-write.
  • Scampia and Secondigliano like in Real Life. -> Scampia and Secondigliano, just like in Real Life.
  • The Secondigliano area that has -> The Secondigliano area has
  • drop-out rate from school -> school drop-out rate
  • After survived the attack -> (How to Write an Example - Write in Historical Present Tense)
    • After he survives the attack OR
    • After surviving the attack
  • Like in the original book, it is showed -> As in the original book, the film shows
  • is involved in various and different criminal business: from ->
    • is involved in different criminal businesses, from OR
    • is involved in various criminal businesses, from

You don't need both "various" and "different".

  • or tied with them. -> or tied in with them.

[up][up], [up][up][up] @LB 7979

I have a couple of suggestions about your corrections:

  • chromium —> Chromium (Chemical element —> capitalized in English)

As far as I can tell, this is incorrect. Element names are not proper nouns and are not capitalized except when any word would be, such as at the beginning of a sentence or when used as the title of a section. If you will look at the Wikipedia page on chromium, you will see the word chromium is consistently non-capitalized when in the middle of a sentence.

Examples:

  • "...because many chromium compounds are intensely colored."
  • "... and chromium metal...
  • "...adding metallic chromium...
  • "While chromium metal..."
  • "Abandoned chromium production sites..."

See also Wikipedia's Capitalization of elements and compounds.

  • Scampia is regarded as from the ghetto / as a ghetto person.

Scampia is a place (a suburb of Naples), not a person.

[up][up] My bad, I took "Scampia" to be a person, which, looking back, maybe was presumptuous; seeing that it is a place, please ignore what I wrote about it before.
