Fleeting Demographic Rule: Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is the first Power Rangers season in 25 years where the main Red Ranger's name begins with "A".

(This is only a mild exaggeration of examples of the same trope I've seen on Super Sentai pages.)

Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: In Conan the Barbarian (1982), resident blonde-haired Amazonian Beauty Valeria is in the protagonist's group, and is shown to be somewhat more caring and emotional.

Magnificent Bastard: "Big" Jack Horner is an ambitious crime lord seeking after the power of the Wishing Star. Having a tragic upbringing of neglect as a child, Jack always wanted to make a name for himself in the world. So when he heard of a star that could grant any wish he could ever want, Jack packed his bags and went on a journey. As he competed with Puss and Goldilocks for the wish, he repeatedly showed tactical genius that always kept him ahead of his foes. He improvised with the various magical weapons at his disposal, such as using Excalibur as a warhammer when he couldn't remove the rock, using the phoenix as a flamethrower to take down a forest of enemies, testing unicorn horns on his own men before using the untested weapons in actual combat. Understanding the necessity of sacrifices, Jack was regularly willing to put his men's lives at stake, as (in his words) you "can't bake a pie without losing a dozen men." He was only undone in the end by Perrito, one of the few masterminds who could best him in battle.

Non-Appearing Title: Elton John's song "Tiny Dancer" is an odd case of this. Despite the song being called Tiny Dancer, the lyric is actually "Hold me closer, Tony Danza."

Common Knowledge: Many people think Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is purple, but she's actually pale, light grayish mulberry.

Unintentional Period Piece: The Characters.Phineas And Ferb Candace Flynn page mentions that Candace's scream might irritate those who watch the show on a portable DVD player. Realistically, when's the last time you've seen someone use one of those?

Hypocrite: In The LEGO Batman Movie, Commissioner Barbara Gordon blames Batman for never capturing any of the criminals he fights. Neither has the GCPD until Jim Gordon's retirement gala. What's their excuse?
