Video Examples Quality Control

The Epic Rap Battles of History example on Anthropomorphic Personification feels like misuse to me. Yes, Walt Disney represents the modern Walt Disney corporation more than the actual man, but he's also still Walt Disney and I don't know if companies are covered under Anthropomorphic Personification, which seems more for intangible concepts.

so even if Film.The Lord Of The Rings were considered a serial work, the trope still wouldn't apply unless the narration was repeated at the start of each movie (which it isn't).

The Persona 5 clip in Multiple Endings is a giant spoiler.

(I'd have to check it to see if it'll work as a clip, but I'm wondering how well the "endings" to Wayne's World would work as a video example)

Other than the spoiler issue, it is way over the 2:30 limit at 4:14 runtime. Somebody please zap it.

The "Luan Gets Karma" video on April Fools' Day is an in-universe episode about April Fools' day, not a prank on the audience, so it's actually April Fools' Plot. It also has a big "made with Kinemaster" watermark.

The iCarly video on Tantrum Throwing is misuse, as the trope is about throwing things during a tantrum, and Carly's character doesn't do that. She flails a club around but doesn't actually throw it. (To be fair, that is a misleading title.)

Okay, now that Bee Afraid was officially transplanted into Scary Stinging Swarm, can someone, please, move its video examples into the correct trope? Because now Bee Afraid means "bees themselves are scary, antagonistic and/or dangerous", so the current video examples no longer fit Bee Afraid, but they will fit Scary Stinging Swarm (except the Big City Greens one, though).

I have two instances of videos that I think are on the wrong trope:

1. I think the video on Non-Ironic Clown would fit better on Dreaded Kids' Party Entertainer Job. The video shows the clown getting ticked off at the kids and swearing at them, which I don't think a Non-Ironic Clown would do. I don't know if the scene takes place at a party specifically, but I think the kids' abuse of the clown, combined with the clown's distress that leads to anger, is more fitting for Dreaded Kids' Party Entertainer Job.
2. I think the Nights Journey Of Dreams video for Stage Magician ("Chamelan") should be on Magicians Are Wizards. The character dresses like a stage magician, but he is actually magical, which is what the latter trope is about.

the Steamed Hams example for "Fawlty Towers" Plot breaks the 2:30 minute rule, but it's only just barely over at 2:48 and the whole scene is an iconic enough example of the trope that i'm not sure if it's that much of a problem. is it still okay?

I think it could work if we shave off some bits (maybe cut the theme song and the last few seconds), though it'd be a shame to lose all those votes.

I'd be fine with deeming it "good enough".

i was thinking if you cut the theme song (~14 seconds) and the beginning up to "well seymour i made it" (~4 seconds) that should be juuust enough to get it under 2:30 but yeah i also think it's excusable. like the upper limit

Huh. I thought the system would automatically reject the video if it was too long. I didn't realize it was a limit we set ourselves.

I saw a 5-minute short get through once. I think one time a video that was like, 14 minutes got through.

I notice that a lot of video examples from Grand Theft Auto V are watermarked from a You Tube channel. Should those be deleted?

Totally, blatantly taking footage from a YT channel is not cool if the video is for the game itself. But which ones?

Can you explain why that is problematic? I am curious.

Using a watermarked video has copyright issues in the same way using a watermarked image does. (Channel bugs are fine though.)

I'm worried that the omnipresent flickering in "Just Can't Wait to be King 4D" on Disney Acid Sequence may be a photosensitive epilepsy hazard. Since we already have a video of the film's version of the scene, we wouldn't lose much by deleting this video.

Does anyone think this clip from Pitch Perfect might be too subtle of a shift for "Gaining Confidence" Song? I'm ironically not super confident about it since it's not as obvious that the Bellas are awkward and stiff at the beginning, but the result is obviously more confident and enjoyable for them, so I think it'll probably work as a video. I just want a second opinion.

Some questions: I want to upload a part of a video from an official Netflix YouTube channel, but there's a noticeable Netflix watermark on the upper right. Is this okay? Furthermore, are subtitles okay?

Netflix is the official distrubutor, so yeah.

I forgot to put a media source for the 100 gecs video example on Hyperpop. Are the mods able to add it themselves? If not, then it needs to be deleted so I can resubmit the video with the source.
