  • Cool Old Guy: Mikey views him as such and watches all his videos. He desperately wants to meet him in real life.

Recurring Characters

     Mikey Miller

Mikey Miller

Played by: Kaido Lee Roberts

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mikey_51.png
  • Aesop Amnesia: Mikey never seems to learn his lesson no more how many times he gets humiliated, punished or hurt from his actions. As a result his consequences have ranged from being grounded the entire summer to even being arrested three times.
  • Alliterative Name: Mikey Miller. Also applies to his streamer name, Minecraft Mikey.
  • Butt-Monkey: Mikey is constantly on the receiving end of various punishments and consequences as a result of his schemes. His parents seem to favor his brother Jayden over him, his teachers constantly force him to do more work than needed when he's in trouble and even his classmates seem to dislike him. He even has the whole world seemingly hating him after he cheated in "Gamer Caught Cheating."
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Often calls himself Mischief Mikey (which is based off of his own series).
  • Catchphrase: "I got an idea..."
  • Dirty Coward: Whenever the odds are no longer in Mikey's favor and he is confronted, he will resorted to either lying, visibly panicking, crying, or even begging for immediate mercy. All this only to do the same thing over again.
    • During the climax of "The Boys Break Into a Superstore PT 2", where he, Jay, and Noah were doing the overnight sleepover challenge at the supermarket where Noah's father works as a security guard, three robbers with ski masks broke in and planned to steal, which caught the boys attention. Mikey, believing he might die, immediately resorts to hysteria, to which Jay has to calm him down. Noah however, is unwilling to let the store get robbed and forms a strategy to foil the robbers plans, and the three set up tripwire and use shaving cream in one aile to trick them into failing. With their setup finished, Jay taunts the burglars, and then lures them to the trap, successfully tripping them. Since the amount of burglars are as the boys themselves, Jay and Noah then prepare to subdue one each, but Mikey becomes to anxious to tackle the third one, and attempts to flee until he hears his mother call his name, which prompts him to look back and notice in disguise, along with Jay's mom and Noah's dad, who both push them off, respectively. As it turns out, the parents realized their kids were lying to them, and they all agreed to pull off an act of robbing the store to bust them. Mikey tries to talk his way out of it, but then relents. Normally, Mikey would try to weasel his way out of issues rather than face them, such as pulling the fire alarm and staging a plane hijacking, both just to avoid taking a test.
  • Fan Boy: He is one of Dhar Mann and wants to meet him in real life.
  • Flanderization: Initially, his actions mainly focus on skipping school and cheating on tests like any other child would (i.e. pretending to be sick, faking an allergic reaction, and using cheat sheets). Also, it was only on occasion as not every episode that featured him included his troublemaking. By "Mischief Mikey", he's scheming every episode starts committing several crimes including burglary, embezzlement, and terrorism.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The troublemaking, cheating foolish to Jayden's responsible.
  • Freudian Excuse: It is possible that the reason for Mikey's behavior is that his parents are either separated or divorced. Evidence of this are the fact that the father has only made one appearance in the whole Mikey series, his mother lives with the kids with the father not being implied to be around with the only time the father is ever mentioned is when Mikey is in trouble. It can be interpreted as Mikey subconsciously acting out in order to get his father to be around more, but this is speculation.
  • It's All About Me: In "Kids Cheat MRBEAST For $1 MILLION, They Instantly Regret It", he tricked his friend "Derek" by telling him that the flight was delayed until tomorrow, so that he and Jay will go on a flight to North Carolina right now in order to win the million dollars from Mr Beast for themselves without him, at the end of the video, they won, but unfortunately, they didn't win the million dollars... But Derek did.
  • Jerkass: Mikey is an ableist, rude troublemaker who not only comes up with half baked schemes in order to avoid doing any work, he is also sexist as revealed by the second "Jay and Mikey" series.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Mikey is a troublemaker, liar, and prankster who constantly gets in trouble with his half-baked schemes which are created to avoid doing any work. However, he's still just a kid who loves to have fun and all-in-all loves his friends and family. "Streamer Gets Pranked on Live Stream" also shows that, as much as he rags on Jayden, he genuinely loves his little brother and is willing to help him out when he needs it.
  • Kids Are Cruel: Mikey is one of the few examples of children doing terrible things (e.g., making rude remarks, cheating, lying, etc.) in Dhar Mann videos.
  • Not Me This Time: "Streamer Gets Pranked on Live Stream" sees Mikey get accused by Jayden of trying to sabotage his and friends' efforts to win a Minecraft competition. When confronted, however, Mikey quickly proves his innocence.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Everybody calls him Mikey except for his teacher Mr. Wilson, who usually calls him Michael, but has called him Mikey in the fire alarm video.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Played Straight with him. His friends constantly chide him for his cheating and scheming ways, and when he doesn't listen and still does those actions anyway, they remind him of the moral that he should have listened to. Even Jay, his best friend, began to question why he was friends with him.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: In both the "Jay and Mikey" series and especially "Mischief Mikey", he begins committing actual crimes including trespassing, burglary, embezzlement, and terrorism.
  • Took a Level in Kindness : After "Streamer Gets Caught Cheating", Mikey seems to be much more humble as to not cheat as much when he wants something, possibly due to the ongoing humiliation from the incident. He actually listen to Jayden's advice and is currently trying (even if by a little bit) to do better. He's mischief in the second season of "Mischief Mikey" also gets notably toned down from committing crimes to just simple pranks.
  • Toxic Friend Influence: He is this towards Jay, and it especially doesn't help that Jay always hangs around Mikey while the latter teaches his scheming ways. It has gotten to the point that Jay has started following in his footsteps. Fortunately, Jay realized that what he was doing because of Mikey was wrong, and began to instead point out Mikey's flaws. This was extremely apparent in the second episode of the "Jay and Mikey" series, where he dares Jay to get together with a girl and doesn't care that he actually fell for her.
  • True Companions: He's this with Jay, despite being a Toxic Friend Influence to him, he does genuinely care about him.
  • The Sociopath: In "Streamer Is Caught Cheating," he displays traits like Lack of Empathy and having a grandiose sense of self.
  • Villain Protagonist: In his series titled Mischief Mikey. He goes as far as to rob a bank and a church just to have the Apple Vision Pro, and fakes a plane hijacking to avoid taking a test out of fear of failing. He gets better by the time of Noah's Arc however.

     Jayden Miller

Jayden Miller

Played by: Brendan Schroeder

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jayden.png
  • The Ace: The summarization of Jayden. He's a straight A student, always does what his parents want him to, and as a result, receives all the love and praise from his parents and teachers (much to the chagrin of Mikey.)
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Mikey sees Jayden as this, since Jayden is the goody two shoes who is praised by everyone while Mikey is seen as nothing but a troublemaker who gets punished often.
  • Child Prodigy: Despite obviously being very young, he is very skilled and gets good grades constantly.
    • Zigzagged in the Jenius Jayden series, where it's shown his grades are so bad, he's expelled from school in the first episode. However, he's able to help fix the AC in the same episode and is allowed back in school as a result of his intelligence.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The morally upright, academically outstanding responsible to Mikey's foolish.
  • Jerkass Ball: In "Big Bro Has to Say YES FOR 48 HOURS", he takes advantage of his older brother when he won a bet against him by making him not only working honestly, but also treating him as a slave, to the point where he makes him do what Jay and Derek tell him to do at school for two minutes.
  • Mirror Character: To Mikey. While Mikey is a prankster who doesn't enjoy school and is often the butt of everyone's jokes, Jayden is a boy genius who is praised by both the school and his parents.
  • Nice Guy: Generally is one in every episode, usually telling his older brother Mikey to try and do the right thing (even if to no avail).
  • Retcon: Throughout the series, he's shown to be one of the smartest students in class as he does exceptionally well with his grades. However, in Jenius Jayden, he's doing terrible in class and briefly gets expelled, but manages to get the expulsion appealed as a result of his help with fixing the AC at school and thus, proves to be smart in a different way.

     Mrs. Kathy Miller

Mrs. Kathy Miller

Played by: Katherine Norland

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kathy_38.png
  • Abusive Parents: While she may be trying to get Mikey to behave by teaching him multiple lessons, some of them can be rather extreme (i.e. gaslighting him into revealing that he's not really sick by scaring him into thinking he needs surgery and staging a burglary in a mall when he decides to spend the night in a store) to the point where it makes her look more like a sadist than a good parent.
  • Ambiguous Situation: It's not clarified whether or not Mikey's Mom and his father are still together or divorced. The fact that Mikey's Mom seems to live with the kids by herself with the father making only one appearance does not help this case.
  • Archnemesis Mom: She may as well be one considering she is Mikey's main threat for his troublemaking.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Often gives Mikey excessive punishments for his troublemaking.
  • Flanderization: Her punishments start off with just telling Mikey to apologize and only threatening to ground him if he doesn't. Then she starts gaslighting him into confessions that are harsh but usually at a reasonable level (i.e. faking a Dhar Mann meetup). By "Mischief Mikey", her methods of punishing Mikey become sociopathic including leaving him to be beaten up by an adult prisoner and staging an arrest on herself.
  • Hate Sink: Post-flanderization, she can sometimes fall into this due to how over the top her punishments are against Mikey, to the point where they could've been life-threatening in real life, something that Mikey never did to her or anyone else. She drops this during the second season of "Mischief Mikey" when her methods are toned down.
  • Hypocrite: She punishes and/or grounds Mikey for his bad behavior, yet she does exactly the same as Mikey does just to teach him a lesson.
    • She also scolds Mikey for cheating on Tests/Exams or Games, yet in "Kids Battle Moms In A Trampoline Park", she is shown to be cheating (along with Regina) by giving Jay and Mikey some slippery sneakers so that they will lose the game as a sabotage.
  • I Lied: She directly tells her son this after leaving him in prison with a grown inmate that she claimed worked and then said otherwise.
  • Jerkass to One: In her more recent episodes, she tends to be overly cruel towards Mikey and punishes him in harsh ways (to the point where she doesn't have any problem with leaving her son to be beaten up or worse by a fully-grown inmate).
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: In the earlier episodes where Mikey completes work honestly or doesn't do anything terrible, she is shown to be kind towards him. She does genuinely care about her children, despite of her rough exterior that comes out when Mikey commits schemes. She starts to fall back into this during the second season of "Mischief Mikey" when she opens a Youtube channel for her son and his friend in the first episode and even decided to call it a truce on the pranks in the second episode.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: While she does appreciate Mikey when he does do good on rare occasions, in "TEEN Cheats To Win TESLA In GIVEAWAY", after learning that Mikey cheated on a raffle involving a Tesla not for himself, but for Noah's father, she shows no appreciation and even decides to deny giving him a Vision Pro for Christmas. Granted, Mikey shouldn't have cheated, but the fact that she showed it to him and then yanked it away shows how cold and cruel she can be.
  • Karma Houdini: She never gets any comeuppances for her overdone punishments. However...
  • Karma Houdini Warranty: She has dealt with some repercussions for her actions in later episodes.
    • In "Kids RUIN Mom's Job Interview", she tries to get a job which would involve her and her family moving. It's quite possible that she got fired for doing a scare tactic towards Mikey in the hospital.
    • In the second episode of the second season of "Mischief Mikey", she gets knocked off of the balance beam by her son (whom she also knocks off). In addition, she (and everyone else) was disqualified for cheating in the "Trampoline Park" challenge.
  • Parents as People: Mikey's Mom (and his stepdad) both struggle to handle a troublemaker like Mikey, but at the same time used morally questionable methods to try and rein him in, making both parents play this trope straight.
  • Pet the Dog: A couple. Despite of how horrible her punishments can be, she does have a soft side.
    • In "Big Bro Has to Say YES FOR 48 HOURS", she congratulates Mikey for passing the final and graduating without cheating.
    • In the first episode of the second season of "Mischief Mikey", after pranking Mikey and Jay with a fake murder mystery, she reveals that she opened a YouTube channel for the two of them.
    • In the second episode of the same season, she opted to call a truce on pranking.
  • She Who Fights Monsters: She steps into that territory the moment she has the news and police go after him after he robs safe deposit box and then leaves him in prison with an adult inmate that's probably going to do loads of horrible things to him.
    • In the second episode of Jenius Jayden, she drives loads of kids to Jayden's house to celebrate his birthday, despite of the fact that it would ruin another kids birthday all because his mother wouldn't invite him (even though the kid was fine with having him over). She actually does realize her mistake with Jayden calls her out for that and does fix it at the end.
  • The Sociopath: By the later episodes, she evolves into this. She even at one point leaves Mike to be beaten up or worse by a grown inmate.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Her punishments get more and more extreme as the series progresses to the point where she leaves her son in prison with a grown man that could potentially do unspeakable things to him.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Starting in the second season of "Mischief Mikey", she's notably less nasty towards her son and her methods of teaching him a lesson revert back to pre-2023 levels.

     Sam Miller

Sam Miller

Played by: Jose Rosete

  • Abusive Parents: When he catches his son skipping school with his friend, he intimidates both of them with his overreacting. The following day, he imposes an unreasonably harsh punishment on his son, by banning him from playing basketball, as well as from using electronics, being friends with Jay, and playing video games, much to Mikey's dismay.
  • Berserk Button: He often gets very angry when Mikey skips school with his best friend Jay.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: He's the main reason why Mikey is the way he is today.
  • Hate Sink: He is shown to be an abusive, harsh, and bad-tempered individual towards Mikey, and he's responsible for turning Mikey into a mischievious troublemaker.
  • Jerkass: Yes he is.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: He's very cruel to his son Mikey, but he and his anger are somewhat justified that Mikey and Jay did skip school to avoid taking the test
  • Karma Houdini: Subverted, he never receives any punishments for his cruelty, but however, It is possible that he is divorced, as he and Kathy Miller were never seen together before the events of "Kid Gets SHOCKING Birthday Gift!" However, that episode makes it evident that she got remarried to another man, played by Derek Grauer. It may be clear that he and Kathy had divorced due to his cruelty.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He only appeared in one episode, but, boy oh boy, he and his treatment is what caused Mikey's Start of Darkness.

     Jay Lawson

Jay Lawson

Played by: Shaun Dixon
Mikey's best friend.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jay_84.png
  • Character Development: Jay started out as blindly admiring Mikey and his actions, even though it would get him caught over and over again. He even started to copy his actions himself. But overtime, as he started to suffer the consequences time and time again, he begins to realize that these behaviors aren't worth the suffering and starts to distance himself from Mikey, finally starting to think for himself.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Jay may be a troublemaker, but even he draws the line when Mikey decided to pull the fire alarm to skip an alleged pop quiz.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: In "Mom Sends Bad Kid to Military School" Jay is a lot meaner and more on par with Mikey's behavior, displaying major levels of Lack of Empathy. While he's a troublemaker and likes to cheat, he's never disrespected his own mother at the same level he does here, nor was his family treated as dysfunctional as Mikey's. He also has a massive disrespect for authority. And while he does take her advice, the ending implies he isn't going to quit pranking.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Becomes more kind and less troublesome after realizing that both his friend Mikey is a Toxic Friend Influence and realising that his schemes are not going to get him anywhere. And even after going back to his old ways, he becomes the straight-man to Mikey's antics and often points out the problems in his schemes, even if he still follows him.
  • True Companions: Despite Mikey being a Toxic Friend Influence on Jay, their bond can be best described as this. They not only get into trouble together, but they also have fun together, and almost always have each other's backs despite the consequences. This is especially shown in "Kids RUIN Mom's Job Interview", where both Jay and Mikey actually have a sympathetic reason for their schemes, as they are fearful of losing each other.

    Sam
Played by: Sofia Serna

    May

May

Played by: Grace Marie Gerenser

  • Break the Cutie: Goes through this twice in Dhar Mann's videos. First, when May was revealed to have liked unicorns and was teased for it, until her mom got the support of others online to boost her confidence about who she is. Then, later in another video, when no one showed up to her birthday party, she felt really lonely until it's revealed that not only did her mom end up getting a lot of people to give her presents and messages, but it's the mother's fault for putting the wrong date on her daughter's invitation.
  • Disabled Character, Disabled Actor: Gracie Marie Gerenser, the actor that plays May, has Down Syndrome, just like her character.
  • Nice Girl: May is one of the sweetest kids that you'll ever meet.

     Mr. Feast

Mr. Feast

Played by: Collin Carter

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mrfeast.png
  • Always Someone Better: Ever since they were children, Mr. Feast was jealous of Mr. Beast because he was always more successful and popular.
  • Be Yourself: Mr. Feast learns in "Mr. Feast Runs Out Of Money" that he shouldn't try to be like Mr. Beast.
  • Characterization Marches On: When Mr. Feast debuted, he was portrayed as a kind, charismatic and laid-back guy who was very forgiving of situations that were unfair or unjust to him. Then, in later videos, he was portrayed as less of a selfless person and more of a self-centered, forceful Jerk With A Heartof Gold who is willing to do anything to get views, even at the expense of others.
  • Expy: He is supposed to be a parody of Jimmy Donaldson, AKA Mr. Beast. This is lampshaded in "Mr. Feast Runs Out Of Money", and later justified in the same video by the fact that he is trying to out-do the original Mr. Beast.
  • Freudian Excuse: Played Straight and then later subverted. Mr. Feast and Mr. Beast grew up together, with Mr. Beast becoming more popular than him and outshining him in every skill or talent he had, as well as "stealing" his crush. As a result, he became completely obsessed with oning-up Mr. Beast. It's subverted when it's revealed that Jimmy (aka Mr. Beast) was actually cousins with Feast's crush, and never purposefully tried to outshine him.

    Frank the Prankster

Frank the Prankster

Played by: Devon Weetly

  • Break the Comedian: After Frank's prank goes wrong with the principal getting dumped in milk, and him punishing Frank with janitor duty, along with the three kids that he pranked getting revenge on him by recoding his punishment and getting 1 million views, Frank officially quits from being a prankster. That is until his friend Blake encourages him to get back into pranking for Halloween, only for the teachers to scare the living hell out of them with a fake death prank that scared out the last of his prankster dreams. It takes a while for him to come out of this.
  • Catchphrase: "Let's get it!"
    • "Yo, what up, it's Frank The Prankster".
  • Character Development: Frank started out as a careless, egotistical prankster who loved to prank everyone at any time without any regard for the consequences. Then, after the three kids he pranked finally expose him to the principal, he is punished for a month with janitor work, as well as shown by those three kids that him being exposed went viral, effectively humiliating him. This hunbles him quite a bit to the point where he stops doing pranks for a while, fullly understanding how his actions always have a way of coming back to him. Overtime, he dials his pranks down a bit, being slightly more aware of the possible consequences. Frank eventually loses a lot of his followers and gets so desperate that he swallows Tide Pods in hopes of getting more views, which only leads to him landing in the hospital. This is a wake up call that makes him realize that trying to be famous is not worth his own life, so he starts putting out more inspirational content which gets him the girl he likes. Overall, Frank becomes a more thoughtful and cautious person that cares about the impact of his content on others and himself.
  • False Friend: On the receiving end of this with his friend Blake. Blake was quick to abandon him once Frank stopped doing pranks, to the point that they've become rivals in the eyes of their YouTube channels.
  • Humble Pie: All through Frank's debut, he thought that his pranks were the best ever and that he would never get caught. Once the other kids give him a taste of his own medicine and expose him to the principal, along with his mom making him delete his account, Frank is forced to do janitor work as punishment for a month. This makes him realize that his pranks have hurt others and that he needs to stop.
  • The Prankster: It's in his name. He loves pulling pranks for his TikTok followers, even at the expense of everyone else.

    Eddie Valentino

Eddie Valentino

  • Anti-Villain: Is shown to be this in "Kid RUINS Brother's New Jordans," where instead of just trying to scheme just for the sake of it, he actually has a sympathetic reason (wanting to fit in with his peers with his new shoes). While what he did was still wrong, he's shown to be willing to pay for new ones, at least try to clean his brother's Jordans and even admitted to his wrongdoing when it looked like his brother was going to get hurt.
  • Hidden Depths: In "Girls get REVENGE on PRANKSTER," Eddie is shown to be very knowledgeable on both physics and how the brain often impacts how one is able to respond to the challenges he creates, which is how he swindles people of their money. Yes, he read it from a prank book, but it's still interesting how he applied his focus to learn that then use it on others.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Eddie is almost a copy and paste of Mikey, a more recurring character in the Dhar Mann series. They both cheat and lie to get out of doing their work, have a best friend willing to go along with it, and a friend whose completely against it. It's even down to the line that's always told to him by his mother: "If you cheat, you'll never get ahead."
    Mr. Wang
  • All Asians Know Martial Arts: He is Asian and a skilled fighter, beating up the bullies that antagonized his class (though he gets punished for it).
  • Cool Teacher: His dysfunctional class think so, because he cares for them like a father.
  • Expy: Of Henry Chan from Big Brother (2018), though that episode was an expy of the whole film.
  • Spock Speak: He often speaks with an emotionless and to the point tone.

    Adam

Adam

  • Did Not Get the Girl: In "Kid FAKES Smart FOR A GIRL, Adam fakes being smart in order to try to impress Hayley. At first, she seemed to take a liking to him when they were studying for midterms. Then, once the teacher outed him for cheating on his test, Hayley is disgusted with Adam and decides that he's not worth it, making a humiliating joke about him in his expense. In the end, Adam not only has to repeat chemistry next year, but he lost his crush altogether.
