Fridge Brilliance

  • In "Soccer Mom Shames Single Mom," Tina, who spends the entire video tormenting a single mother about how her son will never amount to anything because he is growing up without a father, is never shown actually doing anything with her own son. It's her husband who is seen helping him with his homework and practising soccer with him, implying that Tina actually believes it is exclusively the father's job to do such things with the child.
  • In "Principal Scolds Student," the principal scolds a student for not doing well in science and dismisses his dreams to be a writer, saying he will become a failure. As shown in the writer's flashback, this isn't the first time he's done this. The school is struggling to make ends meet and couldn't get funding from their alumni until the writer stepped in. When you consider the principal's attitude when it comes to grades, it makes sense; not many former students have fond memories of that place.
  • Many have questioned why Allison Day (Dhar Mann's parody of Allison Rae) chose to work at a furniture store if she's a famous Tiktoker. In Real Life, being a Tiktok star isn't a sustainable career (except for a few rare cases) and most teens that go viral usually never experience something like that ever again.
  • In "Nerd Shames Girl's Bad Grammar", Justin breaks up with Hannah after he gets accepted into Cornell because he doubts she can have a real career and future with a fashion degree. This is not only shallow and callous, but rather hypocritical. Justin aspires to be a professional basketball player, a risky occupation since recruitment is difficult and competitive even if he's playing for an Ivy League school. Meanwhile, Hannah has a higher chance of finding a steady job as a fashion designer; even before she decided to go to Cornell, she built an impressive portfolio and planned to attend college in New York, a fashion hub. Justin may have been a traditional Academic Athlete, but his overconfidence meant he didn't take any steps to get ahead or secure his place in basketball or Cornell, causing him to flunk out. Hannah may not have been on his academic level, but she is clearly the more grounded one—she gets a design job at Nike while studying at Cornell, getting her foot in the door. If anything, Justin is the one who didn't take his future seriously.

Fridge Horror

  • In "Kid Fakes an Allergic Reaction", Mikey lies about accidentally eating a nutri-bar that has peanuts in it to get out of a test in class. His teacher, the nurse, the doctors, and his own mother then proceed to create an elaborate scheme to scare him straight into admitting it was a lie, including preparing to inject him with a "fake" syringe. Then after he finally admits the truth, they all proceed to laugh at the child and give him severe punishment for his lies. The horror part comes in when you realize that as his actions get worse, the response of the adults worsen as well, with them holding no remorse for traumatizing a child to teach a lesson. How long with this pattern continue until Mikey, pushed from all of the stress and trauma of these punishments, does something completely drastic that can really harm himself or others? And what will happen if he gets caught? What consequences will he suffer?
    • Another thing: the reveal that this was all an elaborate ploy to "teach Mikey a lesson" reveals that medical professionals gave their attention as well as a hospital room and bed to someone they knew wasn't sick. Depending on how busy the hospital was that day, this could mean a patient having an actual medical crisis might've been left without proper aid (which could lead to severe complications or even death) because the hospital decided pranking a kid was more worthy of their time and resources.
  • In "Girl Finds Out She's Adopted", Sabrina learns she has an older sister, Bela, who was also adopted. Their biological father knowing about Bela but not Sabrina suggests that unlike the latter, who was given up and adopted at birth, Bela may have actually lived with their parents (or at least their mother)—a criminal and a drug addict—for a while before she was adopted. This is further supported by how she mentions their birth mother only visited her once in 20 years, suggesting they had some contact priornote . This paints Bella's initial refusal to tell her fiancé about her adoption or see Sabrina in a darker light; she's not just worried about societal pressure, she can't bear to be reminded of her past trauma with neglectful, even abusive parents.
  • In "Teen FIRED For TIKTOK OBSESSION," after getting fired from her fourth job due to being distracted by Tiktok, Sabrina mentions that one of her previous jobs was babysitting. This line is overlooked in the video but this implies that she was so distracted by Tiktok that she endangered the safety of a child (and presumably more if the babysitting job gave her multiple chances like her job at the restaurant).
