This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Characters.Spider Man Spider Verse The Spot has a few issues related to formatting and grammar. Can someone make the following edits to the following three tropes?
- Adaptational Badass: Usually, the Spot is pretty incompetent, even with his surprisingly powerful ability. Here, he's hyped as Miles's "most formidable foe yet". In fact, the entirety of Across The Spider-Verse is him averting the whole Villain Forgot to Level Grind hard and becoming the single most dangerous entity in the entire multiverse threatening to unmake everything with his multi-dimensional powers.
- Playing the Victim Card: While robbing a bodega's ATM, once the owner catches on and attacks him with a bat, Spot panickily babbles various reasons that he ought to be allowed to get away with it, including that he's not robbing the store but the banks and because "they're the real criminals!" trying to stop him makes you the bad guy, or declaring that he's "like Robin Hood if he gave to himself!". The owner is unimpressed.
Owner: You're the real criminal! You're robbing me!
- Power Echoes: After absorbing the energy from the Supercollider to reach his maximum potential, the Spot gains an otherworldly reverb to his voice that further implies how just monstrous he's become by becoming a full-fledged Cosmic Flaw.
Done except for the PRLC thing; that crowner shouldn't be citing Horrible.Fan Fic as a precedent since it was an unique (and IMO questionable) case.

Trimming the hedges, one trope at a time.
The Fundamentalist page. The first example in the Video Games folder needs some edits due to problems with grammar and clarity. To be precise, the first, second, and fifth sentences should be replaced with the following:
1) Any faction with a high level of a certain affinity can easily be classified as this.
2) At the same time, all affinities go a long way before becoming central to the philosophical visions of the factions.
3) Initially, each of these affinities is a set of values and practices that helped civilization survive in the early days.
