Weird dreams

I dreamed I petted a dog. But it turned out said "dog" was actually a robot.

I dreamed that it was June and Nintendo was streaming the next Nintendo Direct. The problem was that I was in an airport and had to perform a long trip during a cloudy sunset, so I wanted them to show the "last announcement" (as in, the hot grand game to be saved for last in the presentation) before I received the boarding call. As time passed, nothing but random games were shown (there was even an adult game where you had to guide a young adult interracial couple, namely a white male teenager and his black girlfriend, in a search for a hideout in a huge multi-story mansion so the two could make out and spend time together (and yes, that was how the game was being advertised >_>). My name was then mentioned by the airport's voiceover because the airplane was going to take off, and I could only say in my mind "hurry up, assholes, I don't want to miss out the last announcement". Ugh, it seemed like I was watching an Indie World instead of a proper direct.

I was in a house and my brother was driving a car up the stairs, for some reason there was a waterslide at the other end.

I'm sent to a place that was advertised as a "real life The Amazing Digital Circus experience." It turns out to be a scam^note Before you make jokes about the Wonka scam thing... it probably had a large influence to the dream and the place is like an underground building that looks and feels like an abandoned school/hotel hybrid... except that in my bedroom there's a small secret room that is actually really themed after TADC, where you can interact with a touch screen to make the characters do things.

The next day me and the other few people who fell to the thing (including two who came cosplaying as Kagami and Tsukasa) are guided to a tour of the place, that has a total of eight floors all going downwards. The bottom floor is what appears to be a lunch room, which also houses a pizza place themed after Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, and we're told that they're hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament there before the lunch break. We are all sent to our rooms to retrieve our decks (because apparently we were all told to bring a Yu-Gi-Oh deck with our stuff... OK). Since I have no desire to do eight floors of stairs upwards, I stealthily get to the elevator to rush back and forth... and as a result I end up waiting for everyone else to come back down for a lot.

Then suddenly my mom arrives, with a Lupo Alberto plush under her arm. She came here to see how I was doing there. I snag the plush from her and she gets angry because I "unwrapped the gift before she could give it properly to me"... except it wasn't wrapped at all.

I dreamed I was sent off to a deserted island in a prison because of police brutality on me and I was fed poisoned food. Good thing it was a dream.

I took a nap earlier and had several dreams:

• One part involved me getting an ad about a guy who was donating to protect Tasmanian devils, and at one point in that ad, it showed him with a bunch of Tasmanian devils. It was really cute.
• Later, there was a scene where I met a Living Statue of a Greek god. He apparently had a son that died, and I vowed to avenge his son. Nothing really became of this, though.
• There was also a part where I was making something that involved eggs (which I think were cookies). The problem was... I was doing so while sitting in bed. And yes, I was getting eggs everywhere — to make things worse, some of the eggs were rotten, and I kept trying to throw them in the garbage can in my room, only to keep missing each time. My thought process in the dream was "I'll clean it up later". Speaking of that, I've been meaning to replace the rug in my room...
• Finally, it turned out that we were no longer allowed to list certain characters as The Scrappy (and possibly other similar negative audience reactions) on TV Tropes anymore. Not just because the character doesn't actually fit the requirements for The Scrappy, but because apparently some characters were finding out that we had been listing them as scrappies, and they were rather upset.

I couldn't sleep so I crawled into bed with my dad and watched an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants with him on his bedroom TV (my parents don't actually have one)

Last night, I dreamt I attempted to derail an Image Pickin' thread to show off pictures of my Chao in Sonic Adventure 2. At one point I tried to post a GIF of a purple and white Fly-type Chao doing the Crash dance and captioned it thusly:

I had a large basement and tunnel network under a trapdoor in my house. This place went on forever and had bookshelves, a kitchen, a train station, and supposedly even restaurants. But it was also really dark and dirty, not like a big cozy room but more like a dingy cave. It also kept being set on fire, but the fires would stop after like a few minutes each and never caused major damage.

A few years ago, I had a dream where my grandma became possessed by some kind of monster and tried to kill me with, no joke, an electric toothbrush

I had a dream where I was at an event inspired by Willy's Chocolate Experience... except, in this case, they were deliberately going for Stylistic Suck, and it appeared to be in the gym of a school.

At some point, there was a figure in full-body costume who was the one who was doing all of this. When the costume was taken off, it was the Kool-Aid Man.

Me and a bunch of other people were going "ghost hunting" which for the dream's purposes involved going to different locations, such as someone's house, hanging out for a while, and then taking pictures of the ghosts as they appeared at night. They were all small mist-like white blob ghosts, like Mario boos, and for the most part they seemed to just... exist and float around and do photographable things, so that was cool of them.

I was also at a store selling N64 games, many of which were apparently for Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over

I saw (not on a TV, but as a kind of omnipresent spectator) a bizarre alternate version of Rio. Seemingly none of the main characters were present (just an assortment of other generic tropical birds) and the human antagonists were killed when the birds amassed into the shape of a giant toucan and swallowed them whole.

I dreamed me and my parents were in a strange store and they had Drawfee Murchendice but it was just multi-flavored Tootsie Pops shaped like the Ninja Turtles with Bucked teeth.

Last night I had a wholesome dream where I lived with a supercomputer who was a Virtuous Character Copy of GLaDOS from Portal. She looked similar, and had a similar voice, but she was completely benevolent. There was some sort of male robot who lived with us too, but I can't remember if he was an expy of Wheatley or not.

I was in school, and for one class, I had a really stressful homework assignment. It had only three questions, but it was worth a huge percentage of my grade. I knew it would be cheating to have the supercomputer solve it for me, so I did it on my own.

There was another class, presumably Biology, where I was in a group project with MrBeast. We got some sea creatures, put them in a tank, and presented them to the class. Then we released them into the ocean.

My most recent dream:

I was sneaking in the back rooms of a public library with André the Giant and some kid. We came across a large box full of old books. The kid and I were rummaging through the box while Andre acted as a lookout. I was able to find two books that looked interesting, one on German history, the other on witchcraft. We heard a commotion from nearby; Andre then opened the door and ordered us to grab our books and run. We made it down a stairway to an entrance, where we left and ran down a nearby alley.

In my dream, me and my family were traveling places. One of them was a weirdly empty building with escalators, but no real attractions. One area was shut off, and the place was supposedly related to TRON: Uprising, but nothing made that clear at all.

Another place was a nice building, but it had a guy kicking me in the butt (literally), and then it turned out to be a crime-filled area. Moving to another building (and seeing human Smurfs along the way), things got seriously bizarre. There were gold statues, and they suddenly animated. Two of them were zombies, and I destroyed both. Then, a horse statue came to life and starting going wild. Another statues tried to give me indirect advice on how to calm the horse down, but it was all too abstract for me to figure out (and, considering this is a dream, it probably didn't mean anything to begin with). I ended up leaving the statue dude to take care of the horse himself.

Mickey Mouse Time, I guess. Except half of the dream was forgotten while I was getting here.

So Minnie (and maybe Mickey too) are going on a trip somewhere. They are more or less the Mickey Mouse (2013) versions. Minnie is going to a city with her parents, a Schoolteacher mom and a quote "Retired Janitor who still hangs out two twenty-five-parts parts five of the time" dad. Mickey is either going somewhere else or hanging out "home" (mine, strangely).

After a middle part involving me and my family also on a weird trip, Minnie and her parents having to deal with a generic mean villain who does things like stealing Minnie's dad's baggage/luggage and the pencils Minnie's mom gave to her students, having to travel back in time, the rest of the Sensational Six (minus Pluto) preparing to receive Minnie back and a deja vu scene with the Around the World in Eighty Days plot twist of a day being added...

Minnie and her parents return to nobody greeting them (it's literally my house's "front yard", in a way), me sitting on the ground, the villain mocking them, and then Mickey returning, having a newspaper that says "New month discovered", so there are three days more in the calendar? There's a musical part with Minnie's parents and me having a short "The Villain Sucks" Song which has to be cut because we now have ten seconds to pack and get home before something happens to us, and then it cuts to Mickey and Minnie's wedding. The end.

Once I dreamed I was playing a video game that was a bizarre 3-D hybrid of The Incredible Machine and Katamari Damacy.

The other day I dreamed about the con I'd be going to, but it was very bizarre. There was a stairway in the center that just led to several other separate areas, and it was the only way of getting anywhere. One room was a cosplay room that just had a bunch of children kinda hanging out in costumes. Another was a large but pretty empty food court.

Last night, I dreamt I was playing a mobile version of Fire Emblem: Awakening while preparing for an unidentified relative's wedding.

That part didn't last long, however, because I then moved on to the web browser and found a TV Tropes page called "Troper Tales That Are Different". Someone must've made a sandbox of their favourites. The first one on the page was a picture of a Care Bear called something along the lines of Monarch Bear, who bore a striking resemblance to Rose Quartz. The Troper in question had also embedded a video of a cover of "There She Goes" by The La's that the character apparently sang in-universe and gushed about how happy it made them hearing it for the first time. She sounded like Belinda Carlisle, of all singers.

Last night I had two dreams, because the first one ended ugly and I woke up abruptly.

In the first, I was playing what seemed to be The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In it, Link was tasked to go to a house similar to the one from Private Oasis from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, except it was in an island but instead atop a hill somewhere in, I believe, Hyrule Ridge. It was sunset, but strangely the sun wasn't setting in the west but instead in the north. Also, when I talked to a girl who looked like Paya, she turned out to be a Yiga in disguise. No big deal, I counterattack as usual. Then other characters like Sidon, Riju and even non-BOTW characters like Groose and true-form Midna approach him, Apparently, Link was tasked to come here for a surprise birthday party or something... except those characters were also Yigas in disguise, and they were taking turns to attack Link. Of note that, in several occasions, they were trying to land dangerous attacks on him, and I needed to resort a lot to the Bullet Time mechanic to barely dodge them. I ran away a little to make sure nobody was following him... and somewhere close was a stable. Guess what?

The owner of the stable whom you usually talk to manage your horse or spend some time in a bed) was ALSO a Yiga in disguise, and so were the people within and close to the location. I woke up in horror.

The second dream was less scary. It was actually kind of strange yet fun. You see, I was in what seemed to be a hotel in a different planet. The sky was very starry, too! However, something went wrong and we had to evacuate the place. So my brother, my sister-in-law and their children went ahead to a space shuttle. I, however, was asked to stay in the hotel for a little longer, as they said I had the power to get rid of some demons that tried to not only destroy the place, but also go to Earth and do the same thing. So they put me in an enormous, orange-colored incubation chamber where I was turned into a Megasphere. A lot of energy was infused onto me to increase my strength, and while I was in this state my soul could see everything that waas happening outside. My sister-in-law was very worried about me, and several officers were guiding the tourists to the shuttle. Then some explosions began occuring within the hotel, to the shock of many people, but I was unharmed. Still in the form of a Megasphere, I was ejected upward and began throwing Off Waves to drive the incoming demons away.

When I woke up, I could hear my brother, my sister-in-law and the children leaving the apartment to go do different parts, so it's likely that I was hearing them talk during my dream.

I dreamt of two St. Bernards called Spooky and Satan.

Had a dream that was all over the place. Things that happened included:

• I was with my mom at a thrift store, and I found a CD of Dare to Be Stupid by "Weird Al" Yankovic. Upon checking the CD case, I found that the CD itself was missing, unfortunately.^note Might be worth a mention that when I find CDs at secondhand stores, I check the case if possible to make sure that it's the right CD and that it's actually in there — according to one cashier at a thrift store I frequent, some people occasionally steal them.
• I was playing a video game where my character was a blue dragon, but the character customization features kept resetting. The dragon also rode a "Segway", as it was called in the dream, but it looked much more like a pogo stick or unicycle. There was one sequence where I was riding down a highway in the apparent Segway, but it appeared to be in real life.
• Flight Rising had a feature now where you could earn items from just bonding with familiars, just like how you can earn items from the coliseum.^note Familiar bonding does give you a treasure chest with each bonding level, and you can get event currency from bonding with your familiars during events, but that's about it. I ended up getting two unhatched eggs.
