Vic is completely perplexed on this, since as far as this show goes he hasn't actually said it. GRID then confirms he's said it 31 times since becoming a superhero.
- The X-Files: After being severely burned, L'Ively shows signs of rapid healing like Raven, who has a recurring issue of being burned due to who her cruel father is.

- Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Greg Cipes during the Young Jedi arc once again plays a young, green-skinned hero, albeit a more mature one this time around.
- Steven Universe: Starfire is a Cartoon Network character prior to Steven that can use their happiness as a power source to fly, and who falls if they're sad.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012): Xever apparently buys his boots from the same store Robin does, and Dogpound does the same thing in episode 11.
- Xiaolin Showdown: The green monkeys that appear may refer to Beast Boy's then most recent orign story where he was bitten by a very rare green monkey as a child, giving him Sakutia, the disease that gave him his shapeshifting powers and green coloring. Though earlier versions of his origin story had Beast Boy's father use experimental "de-evolution" techniques to turn his son into a green monkey to save his life from the Sakutia.
