- Doby & Disy started out as a direct mockbuster of Dora the Explorer in its earliest season, borrowing much of its Fake Interactivity elements and featuring knockoffs of the Map and Swiper, the latter having a Swiper, No Swiping! catchphrase used against him ("Bad Caesar, go away!").
- Pop Team Epic: The "Poputan" skit is an edutainment style parody of Dora, where Poputan and Pipitan go to a farm to get milk from a cow. They ask the viewers what animal they get milk from (a cow, Cthulhu, or a Transformer), which item will make an upset Poputan the happiest (money, a teddy bear, or a slice of cake), and where is the old guy sexually harassing them so they can castrate him with a buzzsaw.

- While trick-or-treating on Halloween, Grimmy and Ralph are trampled by a pack of Doras exploring a sugar high.
- One series of comics has Grimmy posting "Grimmyleaks" on the internet. In this strip, he claims that Dora the Explorer needs a GPS to find her way around her own house.

- Elwood (2015): The "Rage of Exploration" strip demonstrates that having watched Dora the Explorer at the age of 3 is the reason D.W. hates being called by the first part of her real first name, Dora: she got angry at the show's title character due to the show's Fake Interactivity and how the explorer wouldn't hear her when she tried to warn her that Swiper the Fox is right behind her, leading to D.W. judging her namesake explorer, and by association the name "Dora" itself, as dumb.

- In Mean Girls (2024), a Dora doll is used to represent someone when Janice and Damian tell a story about Janice’s relationship with Regina.
- In The Art Of Invader Zim, during the screening for the first episode of Invader Zim, Dora is one of the shows that are screening before the former. Unsurprisingly, it was also next door to Invader Zim. However, Jhonen Vasquez finds the show adorable.
- Tilly from Harmony (2016) likes Dora the Explorer popsicles in any color but green.
- Jack, the child narrator of Room, is a Dora the Explorer fan.
- In The Tuning Station, five-year-old McKayla has a Dora backpack.
- iCarly: In "iBattle Chip", when Carly finds Spencer tied up by Chip, Chuck's younger brother, she asks him, "Who did this to you?", and Spencer sarcastically tells her, "Dora the Explorer, Who do you think?!".

- Israeli kidcom Ha Pijamot had a Dora Parody Episode, which is explicitly presented as such in-universe (as much as you can be in-universe in a show with No Fourth Wall, anyway). The game is based around a popular local access TV show that stars a spunky young heroine named Amanda and her best friend Woolie, based on Dora and Boots respectively, and the dark, horrifying secrets it hides behind its cutesy exterior. Many tropes familiar to Dora are featured, such as Animate Inanimate Objects (here implied to be viewers sucked into and trapped within the show's world), Fake Interactivity (that may not be as fake as it seems), and even a Swiper-analogue (dead after being caught in a bear-trap).
