Funny / Digimon Codex

"Let's Get Digital"

  • When Flash receives his Digivice in the mail, his sister Scootaloo asks him what a Digivice is. Flash is so excited he doesn't answer and instead calls Micro right away, with Flash seemingly never telling Scootaloo what it is.
  • Flash arriving in Codex for the first time, also being a Shout-Out to the first episode of Chaotic.
    • Flash has a major Freak Out and runs away as soon as a floating robot greets him. Before that, the robot also snarks that a lot of newbies say "no way" a lot when they first arrive.
    • Flash and Micro's exchange when they meet up in Codex.
    Flash: Dude.
    Micro: I know.
    Flash: Dude.
    Micro: I know.
    Flash: Dude!
Micro: You don't even say dude.
    Flash: I KNOW!
  • Flash's first trip into the Digital World does not have a great start.
    • He ends up separated from Micro due to a glitch and instead of ending up in Primary Village ends up in Brave Forest and is attacked by some Numemon, who do their Signature Move of throwing poop at him.
    • Things go From Bad to Worse when the Numemon accidentally disturb a Monochromon, who mistakes Flash as the one who threw the stuff at him and chases him. One also can't help but feel a sense of irony to this given that Monochromon was the Digimon Flash beat in the Fake Action Prologue at the beginning of the chapter.

"New Partners and New Situations"

  • In the first case of Dramatic Irony in the story, as Flash in the real world starts getting impatient waiting for his avatar to be verified, Micro quietly speaks to himself, telling his virtual self to get Flash's avatar back before Flash gets mad and wondering what they are doing. The next scene then has Micro's digital self report to Gennai that Flash is missing.
  • After Flash's avatar is processed and he gains the memories of his digital self, he and Micro repeat their "dude, I know" exchange from the previous chapter, until Veemon interrupts, revealing he's inside Flash's Digivice.
  • When putting Flash's first deck together, Micro is shocked to learn Flash actually scanned Flamedramon before he scanned Veemon.
Micro: You scanned an Armor Form before you scanned your Rookie? (Flash nods and Micro laughs) Only you would do that.

"A Rocky First Fight"

  • When Flash is struggling agains Gotsumon in his first match, he and Veemon try to Digivolve into Flamedramon. Except Digivolving in Codex works differently than in the Digital World, so Flash just keeps screaming different stuff trying to Digivolve with no success. Micro and Tentomon, watching the battle from the foyer, realize that Micro forgot to tell Flash how to Digivolve before the battle, with Micro gulping "Oops".

"How to be a Digimon"

  • As soon as Flash and Micro arrive in Codex for the day, Flash excitedly announces his arrival, causing many people to turn and look at him with a weirded out look. Micro tells Flash he needs to calm down.
  • When Sandalwood asks Flash how many times he's battled so far, Flash says just once but he won. Micro then remarks "barley".

"Digital Exploration"

  • After Flash purchases a Battle Gear scan from Datamon with some of his Digidollars, he finds out Datamon also does business by being given rare scans, which would have been a better deal for Flash since all of his scans are rare, pointing out how Veemon is a one of a kind Digimon.
  • When Datamon explains how he is trying to create a new Digimon, he shows an image of Drimogemon, with Flash saying "hate to break it to you, but that Digimon already exists" before Datamon explains he's trying to make permanent Digimon augmentation to it, similar to MetalGreymon.

"A Tricky Opponent to Fight"

  • Trixie is just as egotistical and boastful as ever. This contracts greatly with her partner Lunamon, who advices her not to underestimate Flash.
  • When Trixie takes an early lead in the battle with Flash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie start talking as if he has already lost, such as they hope he doesn't feel too bad over being beaten and Pinkie says she can help him feel better with a party. Terriermon eventually tells them the match just started.
  • Trixie seemingly chose her to use Lunamon, a Water-Attribute Digimon, and the location Cascading Valley under the impression Flash would use a Fire Digimon like Flamedramon, like in his first match. Not only does this not work since he chose to use his Veedramon deck, who is a Wind Digimon, but it actually backfires on Trixie herself since Flash uses the Volt-Edge Battle Gear, with her getting electrocuted multiple times.
  • Trixie's last words before losing are screaming in disbelief that she was beaten by a "NEWB".

"Making Friends and Making Enemies"

  • This chapter is probably one of the biggest examples of how first impressions shape your view on someone, with Flash and Twilight meeting each other in both the real world and Digital World, and both having vastly different first impressions of each other. While the digital counterparts become friends and go on an adventure together, the real Flash goes through a Humiliation Conga all day because of Twilight.
    • Just like in canon, Flash and Twilight meet each other by bumping into each other. But instead of this being the usual Meet Cute or Love at First Sight for both of them as some might expect, Twilight just rudly runs off as soon as Flash hands her her glasses without even apologizing for running into him or thanking him for getting her glasses. This encounter also causes Flash to be late for class, which makes Flash realize this is not going to be a good day.
    • Twilight causes Flash grief throughout the day includes embarrassing him in class, taking the last two slices of pizza before him in lunch, and checking out a book in the library that he had on reserve for himself. By the end of the day, he starts hating Twilight for everything and the two get into an argument in science class instead of focusing on their experiment that causes an explosion and gets them both detention.
    • The digital Flash and Twilight learn they are going to the same school and log out at the same time, wondering if their real selves have met yet. When Flash in the real world learns Twilight plays Codex too and is annoyed he'll have to deal with her there too. Once they both get their memories of their adventure together though, silence passes between them for a moment before they burst out laughing together.

"The Castle in the Clouds"

  • Lightning Dust's entire strategy of using Hit-and-Run Tactics backfires when Micro Chips Armor Digivolves instead of Digivolving Tentomon into Kabuterimon.
  • Lightning thinks Micro is trying to bluff her when he says he has a Ultimate Digivolution he can use with his Armor form FlameWizardmon, only to be shocked when he Digivolves into Mistymon. Cue one Curb-Stomp Battle.

"Battle Down the Mines"

  • Flash and Veemon are interested in getting some new location scans, so Applejack offers to bring them to one location she knows. The only problem is that it is Champion Leveled, so Flash needed to port to a nearby Rookie Level location first and walk there. He is fine with that at first, until he ends up walking through a desert for a hour.

"Digital Battle of the Sexes"

  • Sandalwood and Trixie get into a small accident with each other that turns into an insulting match between them and quickly escalates to a gender war between nearly all of Codex.
  • Everyone is amazed when MagnaAngemon is used in the battle, since Twilight explains it is a rare scan since it can only be obtained by scanning the real MagnaAngemon, not by Digivolving a scan into it. Flash however is still left unimpressed by him.
  • The big twist reveal at the end. During the whole battle, the boy were cheering for Impmon, Sorcerimon and MagnaAngemon and the girls were cheering for Palmon, Togemon, and Lillymon. However, after Lillymon defeats MagnaAngemon, with the girls initially celebrating, it is pointed out by Lunamon and Mangoramon that Sandalwood was using all the girl Digimon and Trixie was using the boy Digimon. Apparently the whole foyer was too busy arguing with each other to notice who was using which Digimon. Must be embarrassing for them all.
  • Throughout the battle, Flash and the rest of his small group say that the whole boys vs girls debate is pointless. After the twist at the end with Snadalwood and Trixie using Digimon of the opposite gender, they try to think of what the moral is supposed to be, only to come up with nothing, realizing this battle of the sexes had no clear winner after all and it was all pointless just like they said from the start.
Flash: Well, I guess Sandal proved that boys are better than girls. At least when it comes to Digimon Battles.
Micro: (unsure) Yeah. Except Sandalwood used Digimon that would be seen as female. And Trixie used Digimon that would be seen as male.
Twilight: (confused) Which proves that girls are...better than guys?

"Like it Ore Not, The Hunt is On"

  • Flash and Micro get into a competitive race with Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy to determine of the Battle Gear the two groups are interested in Datamon will complete first. The two groups end up making a few sexist comments as they compete, which makes one wonder if everyone is suffering from Aesop Amnesia from the Girls vs. Boys Plot of the previous chapter.
  • The ore that Datamon needs is apparently a very rare one that takes six months to regenerate, with most of its usual places tapped out for now. After defeating Landramon though, the players find a hidden chamber behind a wall in the cave with the piece of ore they were after, revealing an area five times the size of the cave that contains the motherload of the ore. Not only is there more than enough for Datamon to complete both pieces of Battle Gear with it, they manage to haggle with him into letting them all scan both pieces as well as agree to let them scan the next three Battle Gears they want for free.

"Playing for Keep"

  • During the battle, Jet Set as DemiDevimon boasts "I know this battlefield like the back of my currently non-existent hand."

"Crushing Loss"

  • After Shining saves Flash from the dangerous situation he put himself in trying to scan a rare Digimon, Flash expects him to give him some kind of words of comfort after he vents to him his frustration over losing Veemon to Jet, only to instead get flicked by him on the head and told to grow up.

"Lessons Learned the Hard Way"

  • The opening scene of the chapter shows Cadance is the only member of Twilight's family that doesn't know about Codex and that Digimon are real, because Shining chose not to tell her since she was never a big fan of them like he was when he thought they were just a game, and thinks telling her the truth would make him sound crazy.
  • Shining notes to himself how his avatar hadn't logged out yet, wondering what could be going on. Though he guesses whatever it is he's probably showing why he was the number one Codex player. Then the chapter cuts back to the training battle between Flash and Shining, with the latter dominating.
  • There's something funny that Jet's actions in taking Veemon from Flash are so bad that he's become Hated by All among everyone in Codex, by both his fellow players and the Codex Commanders themselves.
  • Jet initially refuses another Ante-Battle with Flash, claiming Flash has nothing worth betting against now. Flash proves him wrong by showing him the three rare scans Shining gave him, of Monodramon, Strikedramon, and Cyberdramon. Jet is too greedy to resist them and agrees to a rematch.

"A Rematch To Remember"

  • During the battle, Flash as Strikedramon suddenly goes berserk, attacking the area around him instead of Jet and acting like a wild animal. Shining Armor explains it's because Flash is too inexperienced to control the wild and untamable spirit within Monodramon's later evolutions and is overwhelmed by his battle instinct. It turns out Shining forgot to warn him about that when he lent him the scans.

"Avians and Insects"

  • The chapter opens with Flash trying to learn to control Strikedramon in a training match with Micro. It does not go well and he is quickly burst into data.
  • Twilight's Aero Blaster Battle Gear is a giant twin Gatling Gun. Though a single bullet only does a single percentage of damage to Thorax, with the damage adding up as more bullets slam into him.

"Taking it to the Ex-Treme"

  • After Flash and Veemon are captured by Hudiemon's forces, she sentences Veemon to do battle against her greatest warrior, stating if he wins he and his human partner can go free. Veemon thinks her "greatest warrior" is one of the Wormmon that ambushed them, only to discover it is actually Wormmon's Champion form, Stingmon.
  • As the entire stadium is descending into chaos from ExVeemon fighting Stingmon and the rest of Flash's friends arriving to help, Hudiemon is outraged when she sees Thorax scan Stingmon, one of her subjects, and declares she'll have his head for it. But immediately after this, she herself is scanned by Fluttershy, who kindly says she was so beautiful she just had to scan her. Hudiemon pays this compliment no mind and still attempts to attack her in a rage. After Twilight scans the stadium location she tells everyone they need to get out now, with Flash joking to Hudiemon they "appreciate her hospitality" before porting out.
  • While Flash and Thorax are examining their new scans of ExVeemon and Stingmon, they notice they both have Ultimate Levels that are unlocked via DNA Digivolving. However, due to it being almost impossible to guess what Digimon they both need to use to unlock it, they resign that they'll probably never find out. Of course fans of the series know the answer is actually each other, something that Flash and Thorax never considered.

"The Knight's Tale"

  • When Flash and Micro are invited to a special meeting in the Digital World, they notice their invites say they can both bring one friend and their Digimon. Unable to decide from their large group of friends, Twilight proposes they all play a game of "Data, Virus, Vaccine", which is basically a Digimon equivalent of "Rock, Paper, Scissors". This eventually results in Trixie and Sandalwood winning.
  • After the group finds out that the ones that invited them were The Royal Knights, Trixie comments they probably should have seen that coming from the castle they were walking through.
  • While telling the tale of Imperialdramon, after explaining how he and Ophanimon eventually fell in love and had three children together, Flash is shocked to find out that Digimon can breed together. The Royal Knights all roll their eyes at this and Crainiamon states "Of course we can breed", while explaining that's why so many Digimon variants exist.

"Royal Knighting"

  • When the group is invited to have dinner with the Royal Knights, they are all shocked to find out the Royal Knights actually have mouths, after their mouth plates fold into their helmets. Craniamon says they aren't the first ones to have that reaction since it happens to pretty much everyone who sees it. Dynasmon even says he was surprised by it himself, afraid he would starve when he first Digivolved and saw his mouth was covered when he tried to eat, before discovering his mouth guard could open.
  • After Omnimon offers the humans anything within their power as a reward for their help, the group all exchange looks, clearly all wanting something but unsure if they should ask. Eventually, Micro, Trixie, and Sandalwood push Flash forward, making him ask on their behalf, and Flash sighs before asking if they can scan the Royal Knights.

"Memories on the Track"

  • After Flash wins a battle thanks to his UlforceVeedramon scan, his opponent complains that scan should be illegal. Flash also recalls the very first time he used UlforceVeedramon in a battle, which was also the first time he ever went Mega, his opponent was so dumbstruck he just stood there and let Flash blast him with his Ray of Victory.

"The Dragon Soul Stones"

  • When every player in Codex gets an alert from the Digital World asking them for help, while many of them decide to answer the call and port there, a few player choose to ignore it. Two of the ones ignoring it, to nobody's surprise, are Lightning Dust and Jet Set.
  • When preparing for the battle, each of the Digidestined hold up their Digivices and Digivolve their partners and Biomerge themselves, except for Flash. Flash says he is being careful, not wanting to choose any of his fire and risk setting the forest on fire. Micro and Rainbow, who became FlameWizardmon and Pteryxmon, awkwardly look around at this.

"A Promise Kept"

  • After Flash manages to Digivolve to AeroVeedramon and turns the tide against Therizinomon, when he prepares to finish Therizinomon with Dragon Impulse, Trixie recognizes it and yells at everyone they gotta move. Easy to see her having flashbacks to when Flash beat her in that moment.
  • There's something amusing that MagnaAngemon is more upset that he wasn't the one to get the Dragon Soul Stone and become one of the Four Great Dragons than he is happy that they all won.
  • Veemon is revealed to have reverted to his In-Training form DemiVeemon after having gone AeroVeedramon for the first time in the Digital World. He doesn't notice this at first though, and comments that he feels shorter.
  • While the Resistance is celebrating their victory back at base, Flash and DemiVeemon eat eight bowls of food and show no signs of slowing down. Shining Armor says he and Monodramon were the same the first time they went Ultimate, since it puts a lot of strain on the body.
  • When Azulongmon asks to speak to Flash and DemiVeemon, they find him shrunken down and wrapped around one of the pillars with his head resting on top of it, Flash not sure if that is comfortable for him or not.

"The Ace of Codex"

  • When Shining Armor takes an early lead in the battle, Flash comments how this feels a little one-sided.
  • Candlemon calls out to Commandramon, calling him a coward for hiding. Commandramon immediately points out the hypocricy of this, pointing out how he was attacking him from cover just a little bit ago.
  • When Blaze Digivolves from Meramon to BlueMeramon, Veemon is confused as to how that could be a Digivolution when all he did was change colors. Twilight explains how blue flames are way hotter than normal ones. But instead of BlueMeramon melting things with his flames as expected, he freezes them. Flash guesses that in the Digital World, blue flames are cold.

"Battle for the Champion Title"

  • When Flash is shown to be battling Wallflower Blush, with both of them having the opportunity to Rank Up to Champion if they win, none of the others know who Wallflower is or have seen her play, despite her claiming she's been playing twice as long as Flash.
  • When Flash first reveals his new Battle Gear, Ignislash, everyone is initially unimpressed when it seems like just an ordinary knife, until it extends to reveal it is actually a Flaming Sword.
  • When Wallflower Digivolves into Daisymon, she ends up impressing a lot of boys watching, including Sandalwood and Mangoramon.
    • Even Shining Armor seems to be checking her out, until it is revealed he is more interested in her stats than her body.
    • Adding to this is how Wallflower is normally such a Shrinking Violet she is easily forgotten by everyone, until she becomes a Ms. Fanservice plant lady, almost like Poison Ivy.

"Taste of the Forbidden Fruit"

  • When Flash and Trixie talk about how Micro has been acting strange ever since Flash ranked up to the Champion Level in Codex, Trixie wonders if he is jealous of Flash. Flash asks what his friend would be jealous of him for, before adding "aside from the obvious good looks and dashing personality I have".
  • After a hard fought battle, MegaKabuterimon manages to seemingly defeat Toropiamon, sending him crashing into the lake before reverting to his In-Training Level. However, Micro notices that the lake is still filled with the Sena Fruit juice, which will heal any Digimon that drinks it. Micro just lets out a small "Uh oh" before grabbing another Sena Fruit before Toropiamon explodes out of the water fully healed, and Micro and Sandalwood port out before the angry Digimon can grab them.

"Double Battle, Double Trouble"

  • The opening scene has Flash and Twilight in the real world working on a history report together over the weekend. Both of them are bored out of their minds, with their only solace that hopefully the other versions of them were having fun somewhere else.
  • Twilight explains to Flash how Spike is trying to earn his way into Codex, but has only won half his online matches due to his instance only only using dragonoid Digimon or Digimon that can become dragons. She also warns him not to tell him he has a rare dragon Digimon as a partner, or he'll spend all day answering questions Spike has about Veemon and all of his different forms.
  • Flash and Trixie have a hilariously bad showing in their first Tag Battle against Applejack and Rarity. Of course, it stops being funny when they continue to blame each other for their loss afterwards, and end their friendship.

"The Storm of Friendship"

  • Flash and Trixie's petty feud has been going on for three days, with both of them constantly shooting Death Glares at each other and scaring away everyone around them, including their own friends. Twilight, Micro, and Sandal eventually have enough of this and decide to force them together. Twilight drags Trixie to a table by pulling her by the ear while Sandal picks up Flash under his armpits and carries him to the same table while Flash kicks his leg like a baby.
  • After the announcement from the Codex Commanders asking all players ranked Champion and above to find and retrieve the Digimental in the Magma Forest, the group quickly notices Trixie is missing, before realizing she already ran to the Digi-Port without them.
  • Everyone's reaction when they see Flash and Trixie laughing together back in Codex after the adventure, wondering what they missed that got the two of them to make up.
  • Jet Set ends up being a total Karmic Butt-Monkey this chapter, and it is as hilarious as it is awesome given how much of a jerk he is.
    • Jet, as Devimon, follows Flash and Trixie into the cave by the volcano intending to steal the Digimental right out from under them. While Flamedramon and Lekismon are fighting Flaremon though, Flash and Trixie spot Jet flying towards the Digimental. Flamedramon is tempted to blast him out of the sky but holds back due to not wanting to delete him. Devimon's laughter at this catches Flaremon's attention though, and he has no problem knocking him out of the sky himself.
    • Jet tries to grab the Digimental himself while he is unnoticed by everyone else, only to realize he can't pick it up and stubbornly continues to pull at it. Later, when the Digimental starts responding to Flash's show of friendship to Trixie and floats in the air, Jet tries to grab at it only for it to shock him.
    • Despite his hatred of him, Raidramon reluctantly saves Jet, while commenting he knows he's gonna regret this. Jet ends up going through a painful rescue, being dragged by his shirt, dropped painfully, and when everyone makes their escape he desperately grabs Raidramon's tail seconds before he takes off at full speed and is dragged behind screaming.
    • After escaping, Jet demands that Flash hand over the Digimental of Friendship so he can use it to force everyone to give him rare scans for a copy of it. Flash seemingly starts to hand it over to him, before tossing it behind himself to Trixie and both laughing at him before porting out before he can do anything.
    • While Jet is walking through the foyer back at Codex in anger, Flash points out that even if Jet couldn't lift the Digimental he could have scanned it just fine and missed his chance. Jet hears this and realizing it, lets out a cry of frustration while everyone laughs at him. It is easy to assume Flash purposely said that loud enough for Jet to hear just to rub it in to him.

"Beach Day Mystery"

  • The fact that a Mega Level like Jijimon fell into a hole and hurt his back. This leads to the whole plot of the chapter due to being unable to seal the breach to the Dark Ocean.

"Dark Waves Rising"

  • When trying to free the others from the cocoons they are trapped in, Veemon tries his Vee-Headbutt attack, only to hurt himself and gain swirls in his eyes.
Veemon: Too much V, not enough headbutt.

"The Battle of Milk and Cookies"

  • Pinkie selects the location "Sugar Kingdom" for her battle with Rainbow, which is described as "every five year-old's dream" being made out of edible treats. Flash is amazed there is a place made out of candy, and wants to have a chat with Pinkie about trading for a copy of it.
  • Rainbow Dash as Kurmamon, a turtle-themed Digimon, letting out "Cowabunga!" as she surfs down an avalanche on a piece of chocolate.

"Mirror Mirror"

  • While Flash and Thorax are taking AncientWisemon's test, the girls are all stuck inside of Sakkakumon, fighting an endless wave of enemies so Sakkakumon can absorb their attack data. After Flash and Thorax past the test and leave AncientWisemon peacefully, he tells them their friends are all safe and waiting for them outside. When they get out though, Sakkakumon frees them all, with all the girls looking exhausted and some looking like they were in the middle of an attack before realizing their free. When they ask what just happened, Thorax says It's a Long Story.
  • Twilight is especially annoyed when it turns out that Shining, the one who suggested they go to the Cave of Reflections in the first place, knew all about AncientWisemon and his test due to going through it himself with his friends and didn't warn them.

"Target Locked"

  • MagnaAngemon complains that Shining's plan to lure all the Virus Digimon out of the mountain is taking too long, Flash points out MagnaAngemon didn't suggest any ideas himself.
  • A Sukamon is among the Virus Army. Despite what this Digimon clearly represents, the narration tries to be nice to it and describes it as yellow "slime". Rarity is still disgusted by it.

"Burying the Hatchet"

  • MagnaAngemon is once again enraged over how someone else got the Dragon Soul Stone other than him, even though it was Angewomon this time, after spending the last two chapters saying how he needs to get the stone.

"A Rapid Battle"

  • During Fluttershy's battle, she as Gargomon strikes a Deltamon in "an area that would have hurt a lot had he not been a Digimon", imolied to be a Groin Attack. Flash and several other males watching wince at this with Flash suddenly understanding Fluttershy's title of "the Merceless Mistress" a lot better. Rainbow however says all the boys are all too soft, saying that couldn't possibly have hurt that bad, with all the boys shooting death glares at her, wishing they could show her just how badly it hurts.

"Belly of the Beast"

  • During a flashback when Hookmon goes back out to sea after overcoming his fear of it, his new ship as he searches for the white Whamon is nothing but a small dinghy. He also channels his inner Bender when caught during a storm.
Hookmon: Oh merciful Neptunemon. Take pity on this humble marina. (as the storm rages and his boat is about to be tipped over by a giant wave) Curse you, merciful Neptunemon!

"Cold Reliable"

  • Veemon is so cold when they first port to the location, he begs Flash to flame him up, and Armor Digivolves into Flamedramon. Flash quickly advices him to "turn his feet off" though, and he sees he's melting the ground.
  • Trixie gushes over how cute Kumamon is when the group meets him, even as he is aiming a rocket launcher at them. He is annoyed, stating he is the Legendary Warrior of Ice and is not "cute", he's "fierce and dangerous".

"Gearing Up for War"

  • The Troopmon that Shining Armor manages to capture says he is fine with being questioned by Azulongmon as long as MagnaAngemon isn't around, calling him "nuts". Yes, even members of the Virus Army think the guy is off the deep end.
  • MagnaAngemon continuously claims that Megadramon can't be trusted and claims he is making fools out of the others by leading them on a wild goose chase. He is Instantly Proven Wrong when they witness the Digidestined fighting Troopmon's Battle Gear machines, with Megadramon smugly calling MagnaAngemon the fool.

"Silence in the Library"

  • After Wisemon discovers Twilight's lie about why they are trying to find the Dragon Soul Stone, he notes maybe they aren't worthy of finding it any more than WarGrowlmon, due to having seen who they have allied with and noting that MagnaAngemon doesn't make a good impression. Even someone who hasn't even met him personally recognizes what an asshole he is.
  • Twilight says that Wisemon attacked because he found out that they lied about WarGrowlmon. But Applejack points out immediately that Twilight herself lied. Twilight says not to get bogged down with the details.
  • Pinkie thinks that whatever Shining and the others did on their mission was nothing compared to what they went though, unaware of the battle they went through in the previous chapter.

"Eclipse Battle"

  • Sunset picks the battlefield for her and Trixie's battle to be Geyser Field, the same location as the disastrous Tag Battle she and Flash had. Twilight tries to remain hopeful, saying she knows the location better now. She also says this time she won't have someone holding her back, noting no offense to Flash. Flash is very offended, but before he can argue back the match begins.
  • Trixie explains that she got a Dianamon scan, one of the Olympus XII on level with the Royal Knights, because one day when she was training with Lunamon in the Beta-Stadium, she forgot to put a Mega Level in her deck. But she allowed her Digivolution to go through anyway, thus becoming Dianamon, with Twilight thinking it must have been because Dianamon is Lunamon's natural Digivolution.

"In a Land Before Time"

  • UlforceVeedramon briefly mistakes Wallflower Blush for Trixie before being corrected, with him saying he sometimes has a hard time telling human faves apart.

"Beauty and the Beast"

  • When Sunset describes the Mountains of Abundance to everyone she says that every mountain grows a different kind of vegetable. Trixie reacts in disgust at the mention of vegetables, with Twilight telling her to grow up.
  • Fluttershy, as GreatHudiemon, manages to cocoon Lamortmon's body in her web silk. Sunset taunts the Ultimate that there's no way he'll get out of that, only for him to immediately slice his way free.

"Canyon Bombardment"

  • When Flash Digivolves from Megadramon to UlforceVeedramon in his Codex battle, his opponent, a SuperStarmon, gulps and shivers before letting out a small "Mommy."
  • When Megadramon is told that he's going to have to protect MagnaAngemon until he gets to the Dragon Soul Stone, he says that he will do his best but doesn't think MagnaAngemon will like it. Immediately after this, MagnaAngemon let’s put a Big "WHAT?!" at being told the same plan by Azulongmon.

"True Strength"

  • Megadramon bluntly states he hates MagnaAngemon and is only helping him because Azulongmon and Magnadramon asked him to.
  • Megadramon and WarGrowlmon have one small moment during their fight when their tails spiral around each other, trying to pull the other and throw them, but it quickly just becomes a game of tug of war.
  • After Flash and Veemon Mega Digivolve into Imperialdramon. the same Digimon that formed the Royal Knights, Trixie, Micro, and Sandalwood are all confused because he looks nothing like the Digimon they were told about. This of course has some Dramatic Irony to it, since they don't know Imperialdramon has different forms.
  • After destroying Bombardramon, Imperialdramon rushes off to help Megadramon and MagnaAngemon. Twilight calls out to him that he doesn't know how long his Mega form will last and tells him not to do something reckless. His response?
Imperialdramon: Come on. You know me better than that. Of course I'm gonna do something reckless!

"The Great Dragon War's Climax"

  • After Imperialdramon rushed off. everyone else is forced to follow on foot, with Twilight complaining that Flash didn't even give them a lift.
  • After Goldramon thanks Flash and DemiVeemon for their faith in him, Flash says they just showed him the path and he's the one who took the steps, before looking down at his footless body and remarking "Theoretically speaking", getting a laugh out of Goldramon.

"Flash V Shining: Rematch Time"

  • When Flash manages to expose a weakness in Cyberdramon, that his leather armor can become brittle when gotten wet than dried which slows him down, someone in Codex's foyer yells "Write that down. Write that down!" with a bunch of people crying out as they start to take notes on this, obviously hoping they can use this against Shining Armor themselves.
