Barry Lee Levinson (born April 6, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and occasional actor best known for his "Baltimore Trilogy" (Diner, Tin Men, Avalon 1990), as well as for such other films as The Natural, Rain Man, Bugsy, and Wag the Dog.
He was married to actress/producer Valerie Curtin, currently married to Diana Rhodes and has two children with Rhodes.
